Great Customer Service from Kammi!
I had my order cancelled three times due to 1800 contacts not having the most up to date information from my doctors office. My prescription was not expired as I had just visited less than a year ago. I dealt with an online rep and thought my issue was resolved but the next day I received another cancel notice. I called today and was able to reach someone right away. The customer service rep (Kammi) validated my feelings of frustration and was able to resolve the issue with me on the phone. Not only was the issue resolved, but she added free next day shipping due to my troubles. Kammi was enthusiastic and really changed my whole experience around with 1800 contacts these last couple of weeks. Nice job!

I have had great luck with this company.
I hadn't really paid much attention to this company's ads as I usually purchased contacts from a local retailer or directly from the eye doc. I have a unique prescription and am rarely able to get my lenses from stock, so I am used to waiting. 4 years ago, I had an online coupon for 1-800 Contacts and decided to give them a try and have not ordered from anywhere else since.
The process is super easy. You text or upload a picture of your prescription and soon, you will hear from them that your order is on the way. Shipping is a little spendy if you need your lenses quickly, but that is to be expected.
This week, I discovered a rip in my last remaining right lens. It was about 9:00 at night. I had a new prescription, so I took a picture of it, texted it, and within 10 minutes, a rep from the company contacted me to let me know my particular lenses were on backorder. She was super nice and offered to upgrade my shipping to "next day" free of charge. She also apologized when explaining that it could be 5 - 7 days before 1-800 Contacts had my lenses in stock. I wasn't thrilled with the 5 - 7 day thing but it was my fault for not paying attention to what I had left for lenses at home. Two days later, I received an e-mail that my lenses were on the way to me. I checked my credit card statement and the next-day shipping was indeed waived.
1-800 Contacts often offers special deals on reorders.The offers come via e-mail. They also have an app.
I will continue to order from this company due to the customer service I have received, the ease of ordering, and the fact that they help me avoid Walmart.

I am so happy that I found this website to review websites. I love to review businesses especially like giving great reviews when founded.

This company 1800contacts.com is great. I have used them for 10 years and will use them forever. It's convenient and fast to get your order. I always get my contacts fast. My orders always come several days faster than what I expect. I actually had a problem with my last order and the wrong script was sent, I contacted them and 1-800 Contacts shipped my new order super fast so I could get the new contacts so I could see. They paid for the shipping back of the other contacts and refunded my credit card for the inconvenience, even the box that I opened and used one pair out of. Everyone was quick to reply to my emails and had a great response and took full responsibility and made everything better.

Received EXPIRED contacts TWICE
I don't usually make posts like these but I feel a need to. If you or anyone you know uses 1800CONTACTS, STOP NOW! I received expired contacts and used three sets before realizing it. These contacts dried my eyes out and now looking back I have realized 1-800 Contacts were the source of migraines. I foolishly trusted this company and thought maybe my solution was the problem. After buying more solution and still experiencing issues, I checked the boxes to find they expired in MAY and I received them in NOVEMBER. After noticing the problem I assumed this never happens to them so I trusted them again to send me new contacts. They sent the box to a past address after I clearly asked them not to. They also sent me expired contacts AGAIN. And to top it off they asked for the first expired pairs back that I didn't use and if I didn't send them, they were going to charge me for it. They charge for expired contacts! Also, why would they want the expired contacts back? This may not seem like a big deal but my vision is a huge deal to me and I shouldn't have to wonder if what I'm putting in my eye is going to actually further blind me.

After the technical problems, order processing was efficient.
Back in Feb 2020, I tried to use the FREE eye exam on the website. It didn't work the three times I tried it. It couldn't record my answers well even though I was in a quiet room. I had to get my contact prescription from my doc.

Having my prescription, I wanted to get a price match so I chatted with them online. My chat session was going well and my sale almost finalized when it dropped. Then, it kept dropping the next 4 times. After some time, I contacted them again. 1-800 Contacts still had most of my info except the price matching. I'm unsure if they called my doc to confirm prescription. The agent was able to price match again and the sale finalized.

I selected UPS Ground (standard) to ship my contacts. Initial estimates were for 11 days. I received it in 2 days; just like it stated in my initial shipping email. North Carolina to NYC.

Complaint On CSR Charlene And Supervisor Heather! Worst Rep!
This Rep Named Charlene was the WORST REP! I renew my prescription every year and purchase contacts through them. The Quality of their contacts are terrible. The last few years the contacts haven't been made with good quality. 1-800 Contacts are so flimsy and damage easily. So I asked for replacement she's going back and forth with me telling me she can't find my info at 1st and they don't keep replacing contacts! I said they were damaged! You're suppose to replace! She went back and forth with me and said she was the only one in there. I asked to speak to supervisor. She put me on hold. Than said no one is there! I want her fired! She's very unprofessional and A big liar! I called back and found out by another rep Charlene wasn't the only one there. Her Supervisor Heather called me back and she was worse than Heather. The apple don't fall far from the tree! The Worst! I have to renew my prescriptions every year and I pay for contacts every year! She tell me she don't see where I called in. That's not been the 1st time they couldn't find my info. Last year I was told they didn't have my current address and I said how is that when you've sent me contacts every year at this address. The staff always messing up and talk to you like you don't know what you're talking about. Heather the Supervisor kept telling me I didn't call. They go back and forth. So unprofessional. Get rid of the whole team and train new team on customer service and how not to go back and forth with customers. Start with the ratchet Supervisor Heather and the ratchet CSR Charlene. They would do better being seen and not heard as A custodian and not on the phones representing 1-800 Contacts! They make their own rules and not the rules of the company. These People Are THE WORST REPRESENTATION OF YOUR COMPANY!

Convienient
I read reviews before I purchased just to see if I wanted to get the contacts online or not since I'm new to purchasing contacts online. The reviews were mixed so I was still questioning rather I wanted to or not. I ended up purchasing 1 box of each instead of in bulk so I could test the quality of the overall experience. It was amazingly convienient! I even called customer service to ask about the whole experience and 1-800 Contacts answered very fast and even told me the date I could expect them. I ended up getting them about 5-7 days later. The quality of the contacts are great and they come directly from the Manufacturer! When I ordered from my Vision location they told me I HAVE to order both boxes when 1-800 contacts lets me order what I want and when I want it. Will definitely be ordering again!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP name CLAIRE!
I have always gotten great service until I spoke with a 'Supervisor' today named Chelsea. She was the RUDEST, most DISRESPECTFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL CSR I have ever dealt with. Once I caught her in a LIE and called her out on it, she went crazy and ended up hanging up on me. I called back and spoke to Kendra and asked to speak to a Manager and Claire got on the phone and started her rampage all over again. She just wanted to argue and would not stop. I told her I wanted the name of her Manager and she refused to give me the information. Still, she wanted to argue some more and once again hung up on me. I will NEVER do business with them again. If 1-800 Contacts hire CSR's like Claire, I'll take my business elsewhere.

Never Again
I ordered contacts paid extra for expedited shipping and never got them. I was told by 1800 Contacts that because 1-800 Contacts were not delivered Friday my only option was to wait for Monday because they do not deliver on Saturdays or pick my package up at UPS. They scheduled for me to pick up my contacts but they never arrived at the UPS office so they sent out another order which was due to arrive Monday, that never came so again they claim that they are sending another order. I strongly suggest that if you need to order contacts you should not use 1800Contacts.

Rip off and crooks
I called for a price match 1-800 Contacts said it has to be within 7 days of purchased, I received my new order after 10 days of purchase and they did not care at all, they told me in order to get a price match ($100 difference) I must return the complete order back to them and they will resend me the same contacts with the new lower price. Make no sense to me, they are doing this really complex so the customer back up, same with the rebates they make you fill a form that MUST be mailed to an address and Always Always I have to call the customer service number in order for then to processed a rebate refund. This company is trying to ripoff the customer. Do your research before purchasing from this crooks!

HORRIBLE!
I ordered acuvue day and night contact lenses because that's the prescription I ordered the first time from my eye doctor. Used the prescription that was written to me from my eye doctor. Needless to say I paid for over night delivery because my last pair of contacts ripped and yes I did receive my contacts the next day. Here's where things went bad. After wearing the contacts from 1800contacts for maybe a day or 2, my left eye became infected! My eye doctor said it possibly was from the contacts I ordered because 1800contacts is known for distributing "bad" lenses. I have been 2 the hospital TWICE because of my eye and I am no longer able to wear contacts. All because I decided to go the cheaper route and order from this site. And might I add, I do not have health insurance, so on top of not being able to wear contacts I am stuck with a couple thousand dollars worth of hospital bills and forced to wear glasses. Thanks 1800contacts!

Last time!
1-800 Contacts sent me the wrong order. I contact them; they admit they sent the wrong ones (after they try to contact the wrong Doctor) and apologize. They'll send the correct ones next day air. Next day... no contacts. Call again. They're so sorry... for some reason the order wasn't sent. They'll send them next day air, but since it's Friday I won't get them until Monday. Fine. Guess what? They didn't show up AGAIN. I called. Again. They claim they didn't get the text photo I sent of the prescription. I sent it and had the right number, it went thru... blah blah blah... they have no idea what they didn't get it. Profusely apologizing. I'll get free shipping next time. Big deal. I'm supposed to get my contacts tomorrow. Not holding my breath. Never using this company again. Inept.

THE WORST EXCHANGE EVER
I have been a customer of 1-800-CONTACTS for over 5 years, and 1-800 Contacts used to be an AMAZING company to do business with. I am not sure what happened, but there are MULTIPLE issues regarding their Receiving Department. Somehow they are claiming that I have only paid for 4 boxes of contact lenses in the last few years. Insane. They then claimed that I was shipped 12 FREE BOXES of contact lenses, that were never paid for. What in the heck? How do you think I was given FREE lenses? As if a customer can just order free lenses? Sure.

What happened was TWO separate shipments were Expired Lenses, I mailed them back and they sent me new lenses. TWICE. Then my prescription changed and I called to order new lenses. I informed them that from the last few years, of moving around and finding old boxes, I had 9 Boxes of lenses to return, in an EVEN exchange of 9 boxes. I took a picture of all 9 BOXES and sent it to them, I mailed ALL 9 boxes back, and now they are saying that they only received 5 BOXES! WTF. You literally have a picture of what I mailed back and you're still saying I didn't do it. Talk about the worst customer experience ever. Someone in YOUR RECEIVING DEPARTMENT is probably selling contacts on Craigslist (OR) Ebay and you're just letting them do it. Because I wouldn't lie about how many stupid contact lens boxes I mailed back. I don't even have time to deal with this like I have been. Anyway, lost a very LOYAL and longtime customer. I was very pleased how 1800contacts customer service took care of of prescription issue.
I had left a review about 1800contacts where my eye doctor had mentioned that there were counterfeit contacts on the market and I was questioning an order that I received because after putting the contacts in - everything was blurry. 1800contacts sent me a new order immediately and the problem was still the same. After looking at the prescription and comparing it to the order I had received - I had received the wrong prescription. I'm not sure if I was at fault or if 1-800 Contacts had made an error - but no matter what - 1800contacts corrected the order and sent out a third shipment. I was very impressed with the way they handled this issue.

Terrible Customer Service & Shipping
This is my first order with this company, I thought this would be a cheaper & more convenient way to order contacts than where I had my eye exam. Customer service & shipping has been an issue, would never try to purchase from them again & I would not recommend them to anyone else.

Originally, I placed my order 11/09/18. I was having issues with the website at checkout. I tried paying with PayPal, website rejected this payment form. I paid with my own card, it was accepted, but website somehow pulled an old address from my PayPal account for shipping that was different than the address I manually entered.

I received shipping confirmation the same day, I noticed the address error & I notified the company of the issue within an hour of the same day. The company replied within the same day, 1-800 Contacts would send my order to the correct address so I provided the correct address.

I never received a response or order so I followed up with customer service on 11/23/18, they apologized for not reviewing my email with the address & they would get my order sent right away. I receive an order confirmation, customer service said I should receive my order 11/27/18.

So 11/27/18 passes, no order was received. 1-800-Contacts calls me multiple times during work & emails me on 11/28/18 that they are unable to verify my prescription so they will have to cancel my prescription if I cannot verify my prescription within 24 hours. I don't understand how they were able to ship my first order to the incorrect address if they were unable to verify my prescription?

I asked that 1-800-Contacts cancel my order & provide a full refund, this is still pending.

I recommend looking into Walgreens for contacts before ordering through 1-800-Contacts, I found my contacts for a much lower price & less hassle.

WOW. Customer service at its best EVER!
Have you EVER had a great experience on a customer service call with ANY company? NO

I just did, and I am shocked. I got an eye exam 6 months ago, and I needed more contacts, so I called my eye doctor's office and got a price per box. $44.99... Great price. But I had a background ordering from 1-800-CONTACTS in the past, and knew 1-800 Contacts had a price match, so I called.

I got THE BEST EVER, (seriously not kidding) customer service professional on the phone, Brenna. I challenged her with the price match. No problem. I challenged her with the old contacts I had previously ordered from them, and she gave me the exact price refund to return the old stock I had, with prepaid return postage. I was calculating the cost in my head, and she kept up with me on why my calculation was a bit off due to my ordering the over stock in higher quantities, thus the lower price return. And she got me the whole way! No one can ever follow my train of thought! LOL

IMPRESSIVE! If you wear contacts, call them. The customer service is unbelievable! Thanks Brenna!

(Oh, and I did call the supervisor to let him know, and wrote an email to the CEO and VP of customer service to let them know that she should get off the phone and be the regional training manager, if she is not already)

Never Again!
I'm so upset with 1-800 CONTACTS! It was my first time using them and 1-800 Contacts royally screwed up! I ordered my $90.00 of contacts on Thursday, June 8th with next business day delivery, with the delivery expected on Friday, June 9th so I could actually see for a full weekend of martial arts events and lo and behold they won't arrive until Monday, June 12th! Then, I spend a countless amount of time on the phone explaining my situation over and over again and the best they can do is 1) Blame UPS, 2) Give me $30.00 back and leave me holding the bag for the rest, 3) Give me free delivery on my next order (which will never be happening), 4) cover their asses by saying "Next Business Day" actually means 1-3 business days, and 5) Tell me to call UPS if I want any further resolution even though they won't be able to help me with a thing! Seriously? I'M NEVER USING 1-800 CONTACTS AGAIN! YOU SHOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER THE SAME THING!

First time shopper Very Impressed
This was my first time ordering from 1800Contacts, and I must say I am very impressed. Their regular price was cheaper than ordering from my Dr. However, I had a coupon for $40 off for a year supply (4 boxes) ordered standard shipping which was free. With a 7 day ETA. 1-800 Contacts shipped same the same day I ordered and I had them in 4 days. On the day I received my contacts, I was doing some internet pricing, and found my brand cheaper from a different competitor. I called 1800Contacts per there price match guarantee. The friendly associate found the price on the competitors price on the website and issued a refund plus 2% saving me $80 more dollars. I will differently use them again for the purchase of my contacts, and recommend them to all my friends and coworkers.

DONT USE THIS APP
I ordered 2 - 6 month supply contacts, typed my prescription in manually while listing my eye doctor.
After doing that, the app made it so I HAD to take eye exam via them online. After 1-800 Contacts made sure they took my $208 dollars, I was notified that I had to retake exam due to technical issues so my order was on "pause" although I uploaded my actual prescription. After I retake exam I receive another notification that the order is cancelled all together.
I call customer service and explained order was cancelled yet my account hadn't reflected that. Man on phone told me that "contacts are regulated and we can't just sell them to anyone" and that my money would be returned in 7-10 business days.
I called back and was connected to a woman whom told me to reorder and it should work this time, so I tell her they already took my money and asked if she could fix it on her end. She told me "that would be on your end with your bank".

Any positive reviews on here are100 percent fake.
Rude reps on phone, glitchy test requirement.
I usually order from Walmart's vision center online I deeply regret trying this company out.

Slow and Inefficient
After purchasing contacts for $85, I mysteriously notice another charge for a box of contacts and another box located in my mail. Immediately contacting the company, it was determined that I did not "uncheck" the box for a monthly membership.So, within two weeks of purchasing and receiving contacts, I had received another supply and charge. A week later after printing off a return label dropping it off at USPS store, I'm still waiting for my bank to be refunded, but 1-800 Contacts have acknowledged that they have the returned merchandise. It's been a slow frustrating process. Wondering how many other customers this has happened to...

Excellent & Very Helpful Customer Service
I had never ordered contacts online before but took a chance at 1800 contacts to save $90 on a year supply plus free shipping. I didn't put in all the info needed and the RX pic didn't upload correctly. 1-800 Contacts called and sent several emails trying to inform me that they needed more info but I didn't check my voicemail or email until several days later when I finally did check on the status of my order. I saw it was cancelled so I called them at 10:30 pm on a Friday night to find out why. I had no wait time and a helpful customer service rep answered. She walked me through all the steps of getting my RX to them and my order processed. 15 minutes later she called me back to let me know that everything with the order went through perfectly and the order was processed and shipped with a free upgrade to overnight delivery. I got my contacts the very next day, less than 24 hours after calling them. They also included a free contact lens case that I wasn't expecting. I will be using them again in the future. I would suggest if you've never ordered contacts online, have any questions or issues about your order after placing it, or if you want to check on the status, give them a call. They were very helpful and I'm very pleased. The original estimated date of delivery was 7-10 business days. Even with the issue I had, from start to finish, I had my contacts in 7 days.

1-800Contacts has been a lifesaver during this pandemic
I cannot express my gratitude enough for what you have done during this pandemic to get these much needed contacts to me!
I could not get in touch with my doctor to get contacts and you at 1-800contacts pulled through and have them headed my way!
During the summer months I cannot go outside or drive without wearing my sunglasses and now not only do I have contacts to see I can wear my sunglasses, you guys are an absolute life saver!

Sent wrong prescription, refuse to reimburse for the costs to fix their mistake
1-800-CONTACTS sent me the wrong prescription contacts (+8 instead of -8) and I had to book an eye examination because I thought there was something seriously wrong with my eyes. Within seconds the doctor told me I had been given the wrong prescription and gave me a pair of the correct lenses.

She advised me to contact 1-800-CONTACTS about receiving a reimbursement for the unnecessary eye exam. I paid $65 just to be told this company made a mistake. I reached out to 1-800-CONTACTS and 1-800 Contacts told me they were unable to reimburse me, but would offer 10% off a future purchase.

I will not be using this company again. They refused to right their mistake and I ended up having to pay for it.

Amazing customer service, amazing company!
Everyone I spoke to was absolutely amazing, but Deena is truly the most caring, patient, sincere, compassionate and helpful rep I've ever had the good fortune to meet! She went above and beyond to make sure that I received my order, and due to complications of my bank charging me two times, she had a conference call with them, wrote a verification of my actual order and followed through in every capacity. Because the bank had still not corrected their error and the countless calls to the bank and1800Contacts, Deena offered me my order for free! I've been a loyal, satisfied customer for years, but 1-800 Contacts now have my business for life! How is it possible?!
Needed contacts ASAP for a trip for spring break. Didn't even know how it was gonna be possible until I found this site. And I can't even begin to explain the great customer service and satisfying all of my needs (as a business student, this is just amazing). I did the ExpressExam which is just amazing to show how technology is changing industries these days. I accidentally used my home address instead of college address to order at midnight. I use Live Chat to change it. After I renewed my prescription, I live chatted with another representative that offered to change my shipping method to next-day shipping. The assurance that this company gave me through each step of the purchasing process is amazing.

Impressed
My optometrist did not carry colored contacts in the color I wanted in my prescription so she recommended me to order them online. I wasn't sure which company to order my Air Optix Color off of since this will be my first time getting colored contacts. I decided to go with 1800Contacts and hope that my experience with them will be good. I emailed them my Rx the night I placed my order. Since my prescription was written as "Air Optix Aqua", 1-800 Contacts email me back letting me know that they have to get in touch with my doctor if it's okay with the colored contacts that I ordered. Their customer service was awesome! Quick reply, very informative and my order came in a week later. I would definitely order more in the future. So happy!

Best customer service experience EVER
There was a mix up with my prescription when ordering my contacts. I had originally given them an old prescription, and later corrected it, but my order came in with the original wrong one. I called customer service and within FOUR MINUTES (entirety of my call with hold time) my issue was resolved and new contacts were rush ordered to me, free of charge. It has been a long time since the person who picked up the phone for any customer service issue with any company was able to resolve my issue without transferring me, and so pleasantly! 1-800 Contacts definitely left a good impression on me. Everyone messes up, but good customer service makes a company! I have even included the screenshot to prove this was a four minute fix.

Waste of time. Terrible customer service with no follow up
I did my contact lens exam with 1800 contacts. It said I completed the exam but I got an email from a rep named Joshua who said (after I already expressly acknowledged to him that my prescription from my prior contacts exam had gotten way worse and even provided him my current glasses prescription to compare) that it was SO odd how my vision fluctuated, implied I was squinting for the exam to impress my eye doctor, and that I needed to retake the exam. Fine. I retook it. Got no response from Joshua or anyone for the matter. I emailed Joshua and got no response. Whatever, I gave them leeway. Hey, maybe my scenario is SO foreign to them that 1-800 Contacts need 48 hours to examine my results instead of the "guaranteed" 24. Emailed Joshua again after 2 days--still no response. Called customer service the next morning (3rd day) just to be told that there's a note in my file that says the exam couldn't be completed. Like BRO, Joshua, JUST TELL ME your company couldn't pull through so I can make plans to get my contacts prescription and lenses elsewhere. Why would you ghost a paying customer after having received 2 emails inquiring about your overdue guarantee? What a waste of time. And now I will not be able to see clearly for my law school graduation. Even a blanket statement of rejection would've sufficed. Instead, I was left waiting with 0 response that $#*! didn't work out, which was concluded internally 3 days ago, unbeknownst to me. Thanks, 1800contacts, and thank you in particular, Joshua. Irresponsibility at its finest.

Idk why there's so many bad reviews 1-800 Contacts are amazing. And especially D'YANA I think that's how you spell her name she is amazing wish she could be the one I talk to every time extremely helpful understand and tries to get you the best service. She's awesome as for the contacts themselves I had a bad batch but D'yana took care of it. If they ever let her I'm never buying contacts from them again and I've been buying from them for years now. Can't explain how great she was. And the company over all is good! Hope y'all reward ur representative I was upset but she really took care of the situation

Eye exams are a joke
I took the eye exam for glasses and contacts when I received my RX it did not list anywhere the PD (pupil distance) I knew this was wrong since 1-800 Contacts even had me send in an image with a croft card under my nose to measure. When I contacted customer support I got a half added "well we have it on file no one typed it in" how do you just not type in a part of some ones RX? Sketchy red flag one. She tells 25 I go to get glasses the woman helping me in store said that's impossible the lowest they go is 50. I called again "well its 25 from your eye to your nose" is what support told me. To which I tell her "No PD is the distance from PUPIL TO PUPIL not one pupil to your nose so it must be 50" she agreed. When we hung up I felt that was red flag 2 I had to explain to her what PD is when she should know considering they are giving people prescriptions. Fast forward I find out 50 is an "abnormally low" number for a young adult. So I email in that from all the mistakes made I am not confident I have received a proper measurement please try again. To which support tried to make my retake the whole test. Which makes no sense if you have taken the test you know that the image is the only part of the test that measures PD. My whole exam was fine OTHER than the measurement and they still have my image on file why would I need to retake the test? I told the woman this and she said oh okay I will just have the doctor re look and email you back. I am blown away they have people testing eyes who know nothing! Not even how the exam works. Ill be going to my doctor from now one for all exams. Cool concept terrible service.
