During pandemic
I called into to see if AcceptanceNow could extend the buy out. I leave in New York City and as we all know it's on Shut Down. I was told by Chrissy that is not a opinion the offer. I also explained to her I'm not asking for more time because it's my fault, it's because I can't return to work until the Governor opens my office for work. She continued to state the I can do the regular which I'll be paying more. So I'm writing to let everyone know that this is not a company that you want to deal with. The will not help you when the country is in a state of emergency.

Worst Service I Ever Had
Run from this people, AcceptanceNow are totally scamming people. Customer service is zero to none. You will be on the phone for hours before getting a rude agent unwilling to assist. Their website keeps locking you out when payment is due so they can charge you for penalties. Called multiple time in reference to an error in a payment they automatically processed causing me an additional $400 and the District Manager from Clermont Florida named Theodore was extremely unprofessional in the matter and basically told me to F@#@ O#$... Acceptance Now will never get another cent from me and the family again...

If I could give ZERO stars, I would.
I will never purchase using this method again. Yes I did read all the agreements and fine print, and yes I am aware of the payoff date I must pay before in order to avoid exorbitant fees, but this was STILL an awful experience. Terrible customer service, absolutely no help, and created more problems pretty much every step of the way. My delivery was delayed repeatedly, when I did get my order I only received half of it. I'm STILL waiting on a return call letting me know when I'll get the other half. Despite the fact that the product is just about paid off, per THEIR payment plan. AcceptanceNow don't tell you the monthly payment plan doesn't include one additional payment which must be made in addition to your final month's payment- this amount was more than my typical payment. I was told this was because I'd been making the minimum payments, but this was the payment amount I was asked to pay and agreed to. Still fuming about the experience and would not recommend to anyone.

Disrespectful Scammers
I signed up with them for a short term loan with early payoff. I paid all my bills on time and in full. When I went to pay the final bill during the early pay off period the store was unreachable. My first call I was told the system was down in order to process my payment. I called the main corporate number to make my payment. I was told only my store can take the payment. I called two and three times everyday for the next 2 days. The phone just rang with no answer or I was hung up on. When I finally was able to get a hold of the store I was 2 days past my payment date. I asked if AcceptanceNow could make an exception being I was unable to reach the store. The manager Ricky said that they aren't allowed to make such exceptions. I asked to speak with his manager. I left a message for Shirley the district manager explaining what happened. When returning my call she stated unless the paper work wasn't signed correctly there would be nothing she could do. Within an hour she called to let me know I was out $552.94. This company is a ripe off looking to pray on customers. STAY AWAY!

Great Experience
I've been dealing with AcceptanceNow for a few years. I have yet to have a bad experience. I normally go to the Value City Furniture in Chesapeake, Va located on Portsmouth Blvd. Recently, I visited the Chesapeake location in Greenbrier and I must say I love the staff better there. Jarvis Riley has an awesome attitude and did everything within his power to make my purchase right with a little bit a fun. I enjoyed him so much I went back 3 days later and purchased another item. He remembered me and we just talked like we've know each other for a long time. Anita was my salesperson and again awesome down to earth straight up with you attitude. I will seek her again, Quante, I believe was in training. She had a eager go getter attitude. I suggest you try Value City Furniture Greenbrier AcceptanceNow. Ask for Jarvis! I also pay my stuff off before the interest hit. That's the key otherwise it's a rip off for sure.

Increased in auto debit without authorization
We have an account with Value City/Acceptance Now and we sign an agreement to auto debit the monthly payment bc if not AcceptanceNow jack the interest to the moon. Anyway, without our knowledge Acceptance Now charged our account with $12.50 more they said for LWS, some kind of insurance. We did not take this insurance in the agreement and somehow after many months of payment they charged us without our permission. So this matter went on for 3 weeks from the local account manager to district to what not. So finally I got to talk to the district manager after 3rd call. First call was hang up, 2nd call they ignored, i suspect they saw my number in the caller ID and ignored it, but I out smart them, i dialed *67 so that my number will not appear in caller ID. He answered. He tried to put the blame on me and said that I should have caught this charges soon. The over charged was 7 months and this is one of our bank account that we monitor the activities less. That's beside the point, the problem lies on the company for charging the customer more than the agreement. I told them i am sure I am not the first one. My question is how many customers gets charges more than the amount they agreed upon? So this is why I place this matter in site jabber to make awareness for all the people that work hard for their money and getting rob right in front of their eyes.
Also I was told that they cannot refund this money, I don't need a refund, but credit this to my account bc you have taken more than you are allowed. He said he will talk to his manager above him since this is beyond this paycheck, ok. We'll see, but at the end of the day the amount they have taken will be credited to my account whether they like it or not. This is not my problem and absolutely their dishonest business. It's sad bc karma is right around the corner. Bad business.

Fradulently reported incorrect information on my equifax credit report
This company reported on Equifax that I had an open revolving account which is not true. I didn't proceed with renting from American Signature furniture. Canceled agreement the next day and was reimbursed my funds except application fee. I didn't receive any furniture because I canceled within 24 hours with no penalties. Reported as an 3500 open account/paids as agreed. It was never an account open and nothing shouldn't have been reported! Have file and dispute with Equifax to delete and will report to Federally if not resolved.

Disgusted!
Living through a pandemic these people do not provide any email or postal mail services for them to send you the receipt. AcceptanceNow want you to come in to pick it up.

The representative from Bob's furniture on Central Park Avenue in Yonkers, NY has never been helpful. I called to closeout my account back in November and he suggested I paid it off in December and never gave me a date. Now I had to pay more when I could have paid it off when I spoke to Cezar in November.

If you have the money just pay it off and don't allow them to convince you otherwise. I will never use this company again. Ever!

Horrible management
I have called the local store in order to get proof that I paid my account off. I am currently buying a home and the account showed opened on my credit report and my lender advised that the account is affecting my debt to income ratio. Once the credit has been pulled AcceptanceNow can not pull it again. It is the law. The lender simply needed proof the account was paid in full. So I called and they said they could not provide me that information only my last receipt and the sent the paid information to the credit bureaus. I can into pick up what they had and didn't have it. I explained I just need something that shows it's paid. They refused and said their manager would call that day. No call. Went the next day and again said they relayed the importance and he would call that day. No call. Here is it Sunday and nothing. I am supposed to close on Wednesday. It's disgusting that I paid all that money and they were irresponsible and never sent the info to the credit bureaus and this is likely costing me my mortgage and if doesn't it costing 10000 more down payment. I don't understand why I can't get a statement to show the paid off status. I work for the attorney general in Florida and it's sad that I have to file a complaint in order to get something I should be entitled to. Thanks to the manager never calling. I will never ever purchase anything from this company and I plan to repost this to every single internet forum as well. Hopefully others will think twice before using this company.

Would Give Negative stars if I could!
I have been dealing with an issue with this company since May 2020. I bought a produce through then and paid it off with in 2 Months. I paid over $1700 and never received the product. So in September when I still had not received my product I asked for a refund. The store that I was dealing with was in Florence AL and AcceptanceNow did issue me a refund check, but for only $1400. When I called to asked why I didn't get all of my money back the rep in the store told me that they did not refund taxes and fees and that the taxes had when to the state already that's why. So I then took the issue to the District Manager. He refused to answer my calls. Then I when to cooperate about it. They weren't much help either. I kept getting "ticket" numbers but no calls back or answers. So Finally I got a rep with cooperate that took me seriously and she called the store and made them issue another check for the remainder of my money that i paid them. On 11/9 the store rep called me and told me the check was issued and was expedited to be mailed to me. Its now 11/25 and I still have not received the check that they "said" i would be getting! This company is HORRIBLE! They DO NOT care about their customer or doing the right thing. I am absolutely disgusted with the entire experience!

"You will be paying double and super high interest (fees) if you finance with them"
I would strongly urge people do not do this unless you are able to have the funds to do the 90 or 120 day option to pay. I was 10 days past my 90 days and AcceptanceNow added so much interest (they call it fees) for me to pay off.

Total financed including their up front fee: $407.97 on April 12
Total if all 26 biweekly payments are made: $987.99
My bi weekly payment for merchandise: $34.78 merch + $14.84 their fees = $49.62
Payment to be made at the end of 90 day option: $259.35 on July 12

**********The amount I paid to close account on July 22: $378.68**********

I had an incident and mispalced my paperwork so I thought my final payment was due on July 22. Well as you can see, that was not the right day. So, I spoke to a rude and snappy girl when I called the Knox Wholesale furniture center on Kingston Pike a little after 3pm that day who advised since I was 10 days over, I had to pay $378.68 to close acct. I questioned the amount of interest and she rudely advised me I received all of this in my agreement so to close account this was the amount to pay. I went ahead and paid since this was the amount she said I had to pay. She offered no other solution and did not suggest me to speak to a higher up to discuss.

I urge people if this is the only way you have to get furniture, I would try to figure out another way. If you have no other option but to do this, I would suggest the 90 or 120 day pay off option and remember or set reminders to pay off on that day exactly. I only went over 10 days and they added $119.33 in interest (they call it fees) to my bill.

I paid 6 payments at $49.62 which equals $285.72 + $378.68 payoff (since i was only 10 days over) which equals me paying a total of $ 664.40. If i would have paid on July 12, it would have been $ 545.07.

Please make sure if you have no choice but to buy furniture this way, know that you will be paying double the cost at the end of all the payments if you use Acceptance Now. I will never do this again so I take this as a lesson learned. First and last time i ever finance furniture.

Acceptance Now
Do not ever deal with this company. I was told that during this pandemic that I wouldn't have to make a payment since my wife was out of work. I noticed AcceptanceNow put it on my credit report I was 30 days past due. After calling the corporate office I was told my situation was being escalated and I would get a call back. I never received a call back. When I called them again I was told they did not have any information and I was now 80 days past due. This company will ruin your credit and flat out lie to you. I am going to sue them.

Scams/ after paying off the whole amount they continue charging and it's in your credit
I payed everything before 120 days but AcceptanceNow charged $550 more and I paid in order that the close the account and removed me from the credit bureau. Instead, they continue charging and they have that I own $800 in the credit bureau.

They laughed at me when I sent proof of payment and the information they told me is that I can't take the to a lawyer because they make everybody sign that they can go to court or lawyer. They are an scam, liars, bullies and thief.

Don't go to them because your credit can become at risk.

Total Scammers and Liars - Read all reviews before doing business with Acceptance Now
I purchased a mattress from Rooms To Go and used Acceptance Now. I was told at the store that my lease would be one of 3: #1 - to lease for 120 days (4 months); #2 - to lease for 180 days (6 months); or #3 - to lease for 17 months and I should avoid those because that is where the interest goes up. I opted for a 6 month lease and began making payments. I was able to pay more than required so I was paying ahead of schedule. When you try to make a payment and you are paid ahead, you can no longer use the website so you have to call. Those reps kept telling me my balance which was decreasing accordingly until today. Last month it was around $688.36. Today their rep, Toni, said my balance is $1,098.32 because I did not pay within the 120 days. I asked to speak with a supervisor, but Toni said she did not have anyone and I should call the store. The store never answers and you go to a voice mail but AcceptanceNow do not return calls. I asked for a supervisor again, and Toni said she will have Jeff, a Dist. Manager, call but that will take 24 to 48 hours, or by Monday (9/14/2020). I asked Toni to send me the agreement that shows it was a 120 day agreement, but she cannot and said I would have to obtain that from the store. I'm going to pay off the amount even though it is more and report them to the Office of the Attorney General in Texas as well as the Federal Trade Commission. I will never use them or Rooms To Go again. From now on I will stick with a reputable rental store such as Aaron's Furniture Rental.

Acceptance Now Pt. 2
AcceptanceNow never called, but I went back to the branch that I purchased and paid off account and requested a copy of the Certificate of Ownership. They were unable to print, but they wrote on a blank pre-printed certificate: my name, the items purchased, the date it was paid, and the date it was due (showing it was paid prior to the 90 days) and signed. I called Acceptance Now (main office) and told them that I had the Certificate of Ownership. They asked me to take a picture of it and email it to the email provided by representative. It was resolved in less than 3 days.

HA, one sentence isn't enough.
This company claims AcceptanceNow look out for your best interest when it comes to credit, it's a lie. I am an employee for the company and I am very disgusted with how this company operates. If a customers does not pay off their furniture within 120 days their interest rates go from 12% to 63%. We get customers for double than what they signed to pay. The best part about it, we call the past due customers twice a day for 150 days in a row. I'm talking cell phones, house phones, references and can't forget about jobs! Your payment is one day late? Don't worry we'll definitely remind you :) Not to mention, this company doesn't scam customers only. They scam employees too! Tune in cause the party is just getting started! I referred two associates to work with me. Apparently when the associate completed their 90th day pRoBaTioN I was supposed to receive $500 PER referral. The store manager who is in the process of becoming a district manager stood over this associates shoulder and watched him enter my name in the employee referral box. Now all of a sudden the people above my manager claim the associate did not enter my name. How does a district manager who WITNESSED this not count as proof? I got got by my own job. Do not apply to work here & buy furniture somewhere else, this company is bull$#*! & I say that as I currently apply for new jobs. Sincerely a young hard working 21 year old trying to earn a living.

SCAM
I wish I had come across this site before I made a purchase through these scammers. AcceptanceNow give you one price during your agreement and then add on an additional 15% and "club fees" so only part of your payment is actually going towards your product w/out your knowledge. That cost me an extra $200.00 on top of the fees they actually tell you about. Its such a rip off. They also report on your credit a much higher $ amount so it looks like you haven't paid as much and actually lowers your score. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use acceptanceNow for anything!

You have to think like them. If it sounds to good to be true...
I furnished my whole house using this program. If you do not read the contract, you will get caught with the scam. I give it three stars because I was able to get a king sized bedroom set, a leather sectional for my family room, full dining room set, a banquette, leather living room set, a full size console among other things... l used the program 3 times and came away with about 30K worth of furniture for a little less than 10K BECAUSE I was very pointed with my questions and I made them note specific dates on the contract. I also planned to make payments a week earlier than was noted in the event the reps were not forthright.

Aggravated Veteran
I attempt to pay my payments A WHOLE WEEK PRIOR to my due date and it is absolutely impossible to do so because the site is poorly engineered. I touch a link and it highlights part of a paragraph half way down the page. I have to touch around my screen and figure out the hotspot for the online payment link. Only to be brought to another page that's even harder to figure out. Then I get on my laptop and sign in only to be looped to the sign in page again and again. This is SEVERELY pissing me off. I'm really over this. I rather let the merchandise go back to the store and be done with this absolutely STUPID system. This is entirely UNACCEPTABLE! All my payments are on time. If not early... when I have 3 hours and the patience to figure out how to press the right spot in my screen that will activate the correct link. So aggravating that I wish there were someone to choke for it... preferably wearing an Acceptance Now shirt.

Nothing but Trouble
Ahsly and acceptance are nothing but a nightmare. If you are having trouble and in need to work on your credit and this peo people tell you AcceptanceNow help be aware and please stay away.and second also stay away from Ashley Furniture. I made purchase on june of 2019 and Furniture was damage i was promised anything wrong we take care of it., well is 2020 and just on 2/04/2020 Ashley manage to get the Furniture repair not only is been a hasle do deal with this people but there is no communication on their part and lies only lies. Please for your own peace of mind Stay away from Ashley at Gaithersburg md.
