American Trucks

I purchased a roof rack, lift kit and winch from these clowns. The rack was open box and labeled perfect condition. 80% of the rack was missing and American Trucks tried telling me that was correct, but would give me store credit if I return it. The package contained 7 five foot tubes for $600. Next up is the winch. I installed it only to find out that motor feed out doesn't work. Now I am waiting to see if they fight me returning this one. I haven't tried installing the lift kit yet. It's real easy to find stuff there but somehow their stuff is broken, missing parts or actually not in stock even tho it's marked as in stock. That will tie your money up. They are horrible to get service from; a Manager was supposed to get ahold of me the day I called on the roof rack. That didn't happen, instead he called me at 7:00 am the next day and left a message. I called the extension and about a week later still nothing. Thanks Crizia. I'm really hoping the aren't any American Truck surprises with the lift kit. You've been warned.

I ordered from their "open box" website stated that no essential parts would be missing. I even called to verify. American Trucks said it would be minus a few nuts and bolts. Take the ones it came with and size them up at auto shop. Got here WITH ZERO mounting hardware! They told me that they do not have to honor their website or staff member who spoke. This place absolutely SUCKS! Lastly explained to me not to order open box stuff, though they advertise it... Because the ads are wrong often! This was a manager who emailed me all this... They are very dishonest and manipulative! Do NOT order from them. Also when my side steps arrived... They were all banged up, bent on the corners and missing paint. Seemed as if a 3rd grader packaged them to be shipped! NOTHING good about this place... I promise this on my Mother's dead grave to be the truth! Horrible Experience!
