Watch out for Maintenance program
We loved the furniture we bought at Ashley and service was great, BUt we paid $400 for a
Five-year maintenance program because salesman represented it was for ANYTHING, which,
Naturally, we thought was cleaning once in awhile. Four years into the agreement we decided
We'd clean the living room couches. First, we couldn't get a human on the phone for a year and
the website claim application did not have "cleaning" on it, so kept bumping us off. FInally, my
husband got ahold of somebody (I think 'cuz he has a rumbling base voice) and he was told,
"Oh, no, it's Just for spot problems like spilled wine or nail polish" - really? So we found another cleaning company at a cost of $500, so total lost was $900. Does Ashley really think this is good customer service, good customer relations? Has no one in that company heard of repeat customers? Too bad - deceptive practices have their own costs...

Worse treatment from ashley stores
I write to express my disappointment, frustrations and worse experience I went thought with Ashley store. I bought dining chairs on March 1,2021, which was supposed to be delivered in 4-8 week. After several calls to Ashley's stores, I was given 3rd week in May, then first week in June and on and on. In the end, it took 16 weeks to get the chairs. Meanwhile, three day after the purchase i went to the store to make some changes, I was told, I will be charged 10% of the purchased cost in order to make a change. Anyways...
After waiting for 16 weeks for my chairs, the delivery team showed up finally, Thank God. The delivery guys started by saying, since, I didn't paid for a white gloves services Ashley Homestore will just drop it at my door step. Knowing that i have paid, I tried explaining to them with evidence but he went on the phone with someone and he came back saying, his boss want him to bring the chairs back to the warehouse, like seriously? The guy was so rude and don't want to listen to me and then drove off the van. I quickly called guest care services and mail a copy indicating my payment but nobody get back to again.

What an insult? In line of this, we cancel our house warming party, because our family and friends will have no chairs to sit on. My families coming form Toronto and BC has to cancelled their flights as well and now they are still dealing with respective airlines for refunds. We also have to cancel food deliveries and pay a percentage for breach of contract. I don't even whether I can host the house warming again. Ashely's store have ruin my family get together and family memorable moments which supposed to be held on Canada's Day.
I called several managers who promised to investigate and called back but none of them get back to me. Mohammed is one of the managers and can attest to this.
The chairs were finally delivered on July 3, but unfortunately 2 of them were wobbling so I reported it to guest care services and they sent me a video to watch and fix it myself. Really? If I can fix chairs, I wouldn't have paid for white gloves service. The wobbling chairs haven't been fixed till date.
This my personal experience, so if you are planning to buy from Ashely store, you have to revisit your decision.

Repeated Broken Delvery Promises. Time to Cancel
I sold my house my deceased husband built after living there for 65 years. This was a very emotional process.

On Sept. 6,2020 my daughter helped me shop for new furniture for my new apartment.

I placed an order with Ashley Furniture in Lancaster, PA for a sofa and 2 kitchen bar stools and paid in full $1346. 20 including delivery on my VISA card.

I was promised delivery by Nov. 6,2020 when I planned to move into my new apartment.

My daughter called on Nov. 6th, and was told delivery was delayed until Jan. 19th for the stools; Feb. 6,2021 for the sofa, and Ashley Homestore would keep updated every two weeks via email on status.

No updates ever received and called numerous times to get updates.

Called on Jan. 13,2021 for update and told delivery date now March 20,2021.

Called the store today, Jan. 14,2021 and told I need to come into the store in person to cancel and process the refund. Given my age (88), health issues, and COVID situation I'm unwilling to do this.

So I submitted a request for refund though the Ashley Furniture Customer Facebook Group and informed my Credit card company to dispute this charge.

If you are disabled do not ever use Ashley Homestore.com
I will never purchase from this company again! I will never purchase anything that Ashley manufactures. I ordered 2 items. The first item was a 5 piece dinette set that was to be delivered door-step. I am able to get this item assembled. However when I ordered the second item that was a power reclining loveseat with console aprox 6 foot in length and aprox weight is 460 lbs. I ordered at the same time and in the same order as the dinette set. I was not given an option on del for the loveseat. The web site noted on the loveseat page that on power base assembly would be delivered "No Hassel" del that doorstep del is not an option.
After I placed order I communicated with customer service that the loveseat would be del in my home. When I received an email it stated that the loveseat would be del doorstep. I then called customer service regarding this delivery and was told was doorstep I ask if noted that the loveseat was to del in home? I informed this person that my husband and I are disabled and can not get this loveseat into my home. This person put me on hold for ever then informed me that it is noted to place loveseat into home.
Delivery arrived 1 driver who could not get his truck completely backed up driveway and intended to drop the entire delivery in driveway. I tried to inform him that loveseat was to be placed in home. He disagreed said he was only to deliver here (pointed to driveway). I told him no I refused for him to deliver and I was going to call customer service. He replied ok got in his truck and left. I called customer service and was told that delivery is doorstep and then Ashley Homestore read about the loveseat to be placed in home. I was then informed that customer service would reschedule the delivery and the loveseat would be placed in home where ever I wanted it to be.
Next thing I get a text msg regarding the delivery requesting a reply conformation I called the phone number given to confirm that the loveseat was to placed in home and was told it was set for doorstep delivery. I ask was it not noted that the loveseat was to be placed in home? I was informed yes it was noted that I was handicap and needed loveseat place in home. I said ok so the loveseat will be placed in my home? To my surprise I was told no that would be premium delivery. I was also told that the delivery can not be upgraded it can be downgraded but not upgraded,
Even though I did order this on line I tried to reach out to my local store to inquire if they could help in delivering since the furniture is in local warehouse. I was even going to consider cancel this and reorder through store. But I quickly changed my mind when the person at the store was so rude over phone.
The only recourse I had was to cancel entire order of $1800. 00
This is the WORST FURNITURE STORE EVER! With a customer service that tells you what you want to hear.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Wanted a bed and headboard, no one at the store would help so we looked online, and it had only the option of assembly required. Not a problem for us so we ordered. Bed came and to our surprise, over half the pieces were missing. Spent an hour and 26 minutes on the phone getting transferred over and over, and even hung up on. No one cared and no one had any answers to have a full bed shipped to us and the other one shipped back. Finally got someone who seemed to care and said 1) a UPS shipping label would be emailed for us to put on the box (after repacking it up) and UPS would come and pick it up, and 2) a new bed would be shipped. NEVER received an email about UPS and instructions! A new bed did arrive but was left in the front yard in a rain storm. It was never delivered to our doorstep as it should have been. To no avail, no one would handle the issue; just a round and round scenario as before. Online service said I had to talk to the local store, that it was not their problem, yet, I DIDN'T ORDER FROM THE STORE! But, I decided to go in and see if someone could help. Online rep said the item was listed under the local store Parrot Group LLC so Ashley Homestore had to take care of it. Local store was absolutely NO HELP! In fact, the denied that they have to help at all because I ordered online! SO in other words, no one will take responsibility. They dialed the customer care line and I spoke to a "manager" named Kirsten (spelling?) and she seemed to be helping and said my complaint with hopeful resolution would be "pushed up the chain" and "high priority" and I should receive an email or someone would call me. 4 days later... NOTHING. Obviously I am screwed. One bed with pieces missing, a second that is water logged. And no one will help, online nor local store. I will never be ordering from Ashley Furniture again. And anywhere I can find a site to post a review... be damned sure I will ;)

Furniture was damaged from the start
I have been working for almost 2 years trying to get my furniture replace or repaired. I have made over 35 call to the customer service line and received multiple claim numbers for the same items. I purchased a sofa, love seat, chair and a half and ottoman for my new home and it has been a nightmare every since. Within the first 3 months the couch and chair were showing signs of spring damage. I reported the problem as soon as possible. It took multiple calls and months before someone came out to inspect the furniture. It was then Ashley decided to put in my file that I refused to have the serviceman in my home. I had to get proof from the repair company that this was a lie. After a year Ashley decided to replace my sofa but continued to ignore the claim for my chair and a half and ottoman. I had to start all over with a claim for the chair and a half and ottoman by this time the warranty is out. After multiple calls concerning the chair and ottoman the same serviceman was sent out to inspect the chair and ottoman he inspected previously. Fast forward to today when I am told that Ashley Homestore have been trying to contact me but got a busy tone on 3 separate occasions so they closed my case. This is ridiculous and I will never shop here again.

Shame on Ashley Furniture! DuraBllend sofa and loveseat PEELING
An Ashley Furniture Dura blend sofa and loveseat were purchased for me as a gift by a family friend. Dura blend is, allegedly, a combination of real leather and faux leather.

It wasnt long before there was some minor peeling on both pieces which escalated into EXTREME peeling. This should NOT be happening within a few years of minor use. Both pieces are peeling in places that are never even touched! It need not be used it shreds itself. The quality of the material (DuraBlend) is cheap!

Every day, all day, with chronic back pain, I pick up pieces of the sofa and loveseat. I find pieces on my clothing and in the shower... everywhere! I weigh 98 pounds and have no pets. The sofa and loveseat continue to peel and come apart. There is no excuse for such poor quality.

On the DuraBlend information card the first descriptive word is durable! That word should have a question mark following it. (Durable?)... Another descriptive phrase on the card is sophisticated look and feel. Please see the photos. Does that say sophistication? It should say Belongs in dumpster. Sophistication? I am embarrassed to invite people into my home. When I do, Ashley Homestore always leave with pieces of the sofa and loveseat attached to their clothing. A souvenir of sophistication.

Stated on the tag is - Made by Ashley furniture Industries, Inc. Well Ashley, I need a REPLACEMENT sofa and loveseat of a similar color and shape BUT pieces that will NOT PEEL that ARE ACTUALLY durable and sophisticated in look and feel.

Signed,
Feeling and looking TIRED, bending over every day to pick up pieces of YOUR DuraBlend. Sick of looking at shredded furniture claiming to be durable.

Ashleys electric recliner
I bought an Ashleys electric recliner on 01/01/19 for $870.00. In January on 2021 my chair stopped reclining, A repairman came and checked it out in February. He said the wires going into the motor were broken and that he would need to order a motor/wiring replacement. That assembly cost me over 100 dollars. In March, I received the assembly and the repairman came back in March and replaced the unit. Well, in December of 2021, my chair stopped working again. I looked under the chair and found broken and bare wiring by the motor again. Im lucky it did not start a fire. I called Ashleys and talked to a lady. She checked and found that the assembly to fix my chair again had been discontinued. She sais she was sorry, that maybe I could find someone that could use it as a display piece. So now I have a chair that no longer reclines. No other options were given. What a waste of money. I will never shop at Ashleys again!

Look at the customers reviews from other places and Youtube before buying the furniture.
In order to make a decent salary you have to work long hours like 55-60 hours a week and stalk customer via the phone and email.
I lost orders because the furniture didn't get made in the time period that the POS quoted which made me look like a liar to the angry customer that decided to cancel the order.
Also, the so call fabric called Durablend is like the Frankenstein Monster it's made of 17 percent of scraps of leather, some cotton and polyurethane (plastic). Doesn't that sound wonderful. And the regular "cloth" fabric Ashley Homestore use is polyester.
They also try to sell you this furniture protection using fear tactics that is rubbish, because when something does happen to your furniture, they don't honor it.
The also have the LIST price and the SALE price on tags which is just rubbish as well.
I could have done well if I was willing to give up my life for this place and give up my morals as well
There is a reason why they have high turn over, the floor is flooded with desperate sales people.
Lastly the training is horrible and too complicated. And when you try to get a short to the point answer, you get a lecture and nothing but a lot of words that don't answer your simple question.

Lastly two days after I told my manager at the Plano, Tx store that I had
Schizophrenia that was well under control he suddenly fired me with no reason.

Do America a favor and go out of business.

Take your business elsewhere
Honestly I wouldn't even give them a star, we ordered our couch in June. Ashley Homestore told us 4-8 weeks which is fine, if that would be true. Then they told us august 5 and guess what…nobody even called or messaged us till we called them and asked where the couch was. Then they escalated it to the manager and gave us new dates, that they missed again. After that they called us and said September 9th. We already planned a vacation on that day so we gave them number of our friend who will be at our place waiting for the couch. The day comes they never called our friend to deliver the couch. Now all of the sudden the couch is gone and they have to make a new one. They are throwing us different dates and talking about November, then December and it keeps changing. Please think twice before ordering from them. We might need to take them to court. It's been 4 months and we still sit on the floor.

Worst. Website. Ever.
I have been looking for a couch for a long time now. Ive done tons of research, and finally found something that I like that's on sale! Sounds good right? Nope. I signed into the Ashley furniture site to finalize the buy. So I'm on a 5' screen phone. The top third of the page is just search bar that restricts the view of the products and the bottom half of the page is a tab for financing. It continually pops up in front of the products, completely limiting my view of the products. I spent about 5 minutes trying to dismiss the tab. It wouldn't go away! So I tried on my 10' tablet. I had the same problem! So I guess I was so annoyed that I wrote a sort of terse email saying that their site was difficult to navigate, and that although I think that I finally found a piece that I liked, I couldn't see the darn thing due to the cluttered page. So I got an email back pretty quickly. The sales rep said that she had tried to call me and that Ashley Homestore would be happy to help me check out. But that wasn't the issue. I just wanted to see the entire piece! Anyway (sorry about the book I just wrote lol) clearly no one actually read my email, as I told them I would be shopping on Wayfair. So I can't recommend this site. If you are interested in buying from Ashley, you should absolutely go into the store (which I hate).

Warranty Fraud
I have been trying for 2 years to have a leather couch repaired which has some strange stains that just popped up and stitching coming out. I purchased the extending warranty on my furniture to cover things like this. I had someone from the warranty come to inspect the couch and told my wife and I it was a manufacturing defect and he would let his home office be aware of this. About 3 weeks later the home office called and said that the manufacture warranty is 1 year and it has run out and there is nothing Ashley Homestore could do. What, that is why I purchased the extended warranty? I spoke with a lady from Ashley Furniture, and she emailed me letting me know that she would have it taken care of but it will take a little while, 2 years, I still have her email she sent me and email address. Tried to contact her about 3 times with no response from her. Would not purchase anything again from Ashley Home Store nor would I recommend it to do business with.

Will never, never, never order from Ashley in the future...
I have been trying to order a reclining love seat for my daughter for four days, FOUR days I called the store in Tulsa which is not in Tulsa it is in Broken Arrow, however in order to reach that store where ever it is you have to call the Oklahoma city store in order to be transferred to Tulsa or broken Arrow where ever it maybe. Anyway the store has no furniture according to Steve, so he said that he would have to call someone eight miles away to see if Ashley Homestore even had the item I was looking for an $800.00 + item and that he would call me back. Well after four days silly me I gave up and tried to make the purchase at another store and oh surprise that store hung up on me ( oh joy). So I tried the number listed as Corp to find out that it was the line to order online, long story short when I was finishing up my order and tried to pay for with my store credit card of course that would not work either and so Ashley called the credit card supporters, that of course connected us to a lady that had trouble with english who ended up placing me on a brief 1/2 minute hold that lasted well over five minutes and ended with a man asking me can I help you sir? All in all I could not ever refer anyone to Ashley unless of course they had an entire week with which to make a purchase or there was money in it for me!

Did you get your furniture yet?
Here we go plain and simple I am a disabled person with cerebral Palsy I am Homebound. Please Keep that in mind when you read this Due to my condition I wanted to purchase a reclining sofa to make my life more pleasant at home for myself and my family. I went to ashley furniture website and purchased a reclining sofa and a plain loveseat. The trouble started at the delivery phase of the purchase. Now yesterday I had thrown out my old couch and loveseat. Who needs them now because ashley is coming right? My delivery was scheduled between 9:30 am to 1:30 pm so I stationed myself in a kitchen chair by the door so that I would not miss them. So as I wait I become concerned when Ashley Homestore don't show up so I call them after 1:00 to see what happened they inform me that the delivery man had already been there and I was not home. They said that yhey have a picture of my door and I WAS NOT HOME. Then they say that if I want a redelivery I would have to pay another 140.00 which I do not have so I am left with no furniture at all and no way to get any until I save up again. Who takes a picture of a door and does not knock unless they just want more money. And I am not hard of hearing in case youre wondering and I just want others to BEWARE OF ASHLEY FURNITURE

Unbelievable purely the worst customer service
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY! I have had damaged furniture arrive - exchange of furniture - repair people come to my home and state Ashley Homestore can not do anything, etc. But when you call there customer service as I have more times than I can count - you get unprofessional people that are paid to be rude. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL! After 10 visits to my home and spending $5,000 plus on the purchase - they have the nerve to offer me a $30.00 gift card for this plus. Keep your $30.00 - what an insult! Why would I ever want to step foot in your store again if I can't even get the furniture that I purchased repaired properly or replaced. Who wants to have BRAND NEW furniture repaired? I know no one from Ashley will ever reach out to me about this - because for 4 moths I have never received a call back - I have had to call everyday! PLEASE ASHLEY FURNITURE TRY CARING ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS AND GET PEOPLE ON THE CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE THAT CARE!

Worst experience ever and poor customer service
Purchase was made for couch and loveseat on 5/21/2020. Sales assoc. Jessica was very pleasant. Loveseat delivery date set for 7/15/2020. Couch was delivered on 6/3 Wed. At approx. 7:10 P. M, delivery guys were very pleasant. At 7:40 P. M after delivery guys left, 1st phone call was made to Miamisburg, OH store regarding defective couch delivered with numerous issues/defects and store was closed. VM was left. Did not receive return phone call Thursday or Friday. I again called on Friday at approx. 4 PM regarding defective couch. I sat on hold for 25 min and called from my daughters phone while still on hold and was able to get through within 5 min while my phone was still on hold. I was told that I would receive a phone call for a service repairman to come fix my brand new couch that was delivered to me defective. I finally received an automated phone call on june 16th to set up service appointment. I attempted to set up date but automated recording kept saying Ashley Homestore are unable to set up at this time. So I sat on hold to speak to live person for 25 minutes and hung up. I attempted to call store again and sat on hold for another 20+ minutes until I called from daughters phone again and reached someone within 15 min while still on hold on other phone and left message. I received another automated call the next day and again the same issue, unable to set appointment time and I sat on hold for 15 minutes before speaking to live person. The issues were explained to the live person, time frame was set for 6/22,3 days after I had chemo. Gentleman whom was very pleasant came on Mon. 6/22. The man was there an hour, while I was not feeling well at all, and stated there was no way possible he can fix this in an hour, that he would need to put in another work order for 5 hours or couch replacement. 5 phone calls were made to cooperate headquarters and left VM after sitting on hold for 20+ minutes with no return phone calls. 3 phone calls made to Miamisburg store and VM left with 1 return phone call from sales assoc Jessica. Jessica is very nice but no issues resolved except she informed me loveseat would be delivered on 7/8.4th phone call made and spoke to manager Eric on 6/24 Wed. With no resolution except that he will have supervisor Kendall call me on Friday. Received phone call from Kendall on Fri. Explained to her all the issues and how it should not even be a question of fixing couch due to I did not purchase a defective couch and I have cancer surgery 7/20/2020 so therefor I can not have my couch being worked on right after surgery. Kendall apologized for all the issues and said I would receive a new couch and to disregard servicing current couch. Kendall also stated I could keep current couch until replacement arrives. Received confirmation text on Friday 7/3/2020 for Wed loveseat delivery. Received phone call on Monday 7/6 from Ashley but they did not leave a VM. Wednesday afternoon at approx. 12 PM I called Miamisburg store again and spoke to sales assoc Jessica because I had not received phone call or loveseat delivery. Jessica stated she checked on Sunday her deliveries for the week and I still was scheduled for Wed 7/8/2020, but while on the phone with her she checked the computer on the delivery date was changed to 7/29/2020 on Mon. I asked to speak to Kendall and Kendall will not be in until Friday. So still nothing accomplished with surgery a week and a half away.

Waited 3 months for the wrong table and chairs
I purchased my items from the clearance outlet back in May. I was promised my items by June 16. Lie number 1. When I called about my items Ashley Homestore said they had not arrived and gave me a another date that wasn't accurate. I called customer care and I kept getting the same response "your items will arrive tomorrow " never came. Finally they arrived three months later and it was the wrong table and chairs. Called customer care because and was placed on hold twice and transferred to the HR department. No answer and no fix to this problem. This by far has been the absolute worse experience and best believe I will make it my mission to deter people from ever buying anything from this company. The worse customer service, horrible instore treatment and no response back when an error has occurred. I have been patient and now I'm highly pissed off and disappointed. Does this look gray to you... I think not.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!
We were shopping for a new reclining sofa, so we went to Ashley Home Store. The salesman helping us showed us a few sofas, and my wife picked chose one she thought to be comfortable enough. We ended up paying over $2400. For the sofa, and had to wait a week to have it delivered. The day it was delivered, we found it to be VERY uncomfortable to both sit and recline in it. It had lumbar support, but that just made the back pain even worse.

We went back to the store the day it was delivered, and spoke to the salesman who sold it to us. We were told we would not only have to pay a 25% restock fee, but also have to pay $50 for the delivery guys to come back to the house to get it.

We received a call from the warehouse a few hours after it was delivered saying it would be 5 days for them to come back and get it. We don't live out of town... in fact we are in N. Medford (not far from the store).

The ONLY guarantee Ashley has is to NOT return all of your money if you're not completely satisfied.

So, to summarize... a week to deliver it, having to wait another 5 days for them to come and pick it up. Plus pay $500 in restock fees and another $50 to have it picked up to return it.

Stay away from Ashley Home Store if you don't want to lose money.

HORRIBLE Customer Service
DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY FURNITURE! We bought a mattress and frame at the Ashley Furniture Store in Springdale, OH on July 7,2020. Our salesman assured us that the mattress and frame would be delivered the following day on July 8,2020. That evening, we took apart our bed and wrapped up our mattress and box spring so Ashley Homestore could be picked up the next day. My husband took the day off work and the mattress and PART of the frame was delivered. My husband called the store and was assured the other part of the frame would be delivered on Thursday. My husband took off a second day from work on Thursday, July 9. No one called and nothing was delivered. He called the store and was again assured the rest of the frame would be delivered on Friday, July 10. He took a third day off work. They delivered the same part of the frame that they delivered on July 8. My husband called the store again and was assured they were doing everything they could to get the rest of the frame delivered asap. We then received an email from Josh Render on July 11 stating our frame wasn't loaded on to the truck, so we wouldn't be getting the frame until Tuesday, July 14. Meanwhile, keep in mind that we had been sleeping on an air mattress since July 8. They also forgot to deliver the mattress pad we paid for. We were told by our salesman that we would receive a $300 gift card. Of course, we have not received it. My husband had several conversations with Josh Render concerning getting a partial refund of our purchase because of the delays and the 4 unpaid days off my husband had to take from work. He offered $1,000.00. The corporate office said they can only offer $200 and we can't return the bed or frame. I wish I had seen all of the negative reviews before shopping there. I am in shock at the way this store does business!

Horrible experience with Customer Service and Quality of of Furnitue.
DO NOT ORDER ANY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY HOME STORE!
My husband and I bought three reclining love seats and one rocker recliner. The furniture was delivered broken, I was told on April 7th that someone would call me on the 9th. My husband and I both had to call several time and sit on hold for more than 45 minutes. Ashley Homestore sent a repairman to check the furniture. He said it needed to be repaired. I did not buy furniture to be delivered broken, I order new furniture and new furniture is what I want to get.

We have worked with Ashley customer care and finally after over a month of phone calls. Our new furniture was to be delivered today and they were to take the damaged stuff back.

The delivery people were rude and called dispatch and said that he didn't feel comfortable entering my house. Made up lies so he didn't have to work. I find offensive is that they left. Dispatch calls me to ask my side of the story the dispatch lady was nice, but by this time, I just done.

I'm done trying to play nice. I'll go buy new furniture from a different store and Ashley can come and get their furniture.
