Bax Music

I watched several reviews on you tube to inform my decision on which mic to buy. I chose the MXL770 and imagine my delight when I found one on the Bax website between £30-£40 cheaper than anywhere else. So a no brainer, the ordering was simple and straightforward and delivery was as expected. I recommend Bax as the first place to check for any musical equipment you require. Excellent.

Delivered when requested by Parcelforce. Ironically the case I ordered for my new guitar was more securely packaged than the guitar itself. The packing box was too large and there was insufficient padding. The manufacturer's box was damaged too, meaning it was close to being open and the guitar looked like it could have fallen out. Relieved that it was undamaged but would hesitate to purchase anything fragile from them in future despite the decent price.

The build quality and design of the Flight case purchased did meet my expectations that also offered great value for money. The ordering process was easy with prompt confirmation and delivery information. The delivery was on time as communicated with accurate updates via the forwarder ParcelForce. Guitar arrived in an unplayable condition with bad fret buzz at the nut end of the fretboard. Bax offered a return/exchange/refund, but I decided to keep it and adjust the truss rod and bridge myself. If you are not experienced in guitar setups then be prepared to return the guitar or pay a luthier to do it for you.

I cannot fault the service from Bax,first class.
The Höfner Club Bass is a dream to play,with a lovely finish.Any issue I have is with Parcel Force,the box was very badly damaged and the driver left very quickly but due to the brilliant packing there was no damage.

No issue with the delivery and service from Bax Music but the quality of the guitar is not up to scratch. To say it has been quality checked clearly no one has checked to see if the frets are level. Several of them are high. Maybe this is the quality you get for the price.
Will need to visit a local luthier to get this fixed

I bought this as a birthday present for my brother, who has recently begun to learn to play the harmonica. He has bought a number of items from Bax and has been impressed with their service, particularly as he had to return a guitar after finding, at his age, he was not sufficiently dexterous to learn to play!
With this set of harmonicas, he told me what he wanted and is over the moon with them! :)

When you are buying a guitar online, you have two worries:
What condition is it in? Even if it’s new it might have been tried out by every Slash wannabe wandering into the store, a slack tuning head here, a loose toggle there.
Will it arrive safely? It might have got to the store fine, shipped from the manufacturer in a specialist container, but how will it fare on its own in the back of a courier van for 572 miles (I’m in Northern Ireland)?
You have to go to a specialist, people who know guitars. I spent weeks choosing. And when I realized Bax was a warehouse, not a “real” store, I got worried . . .
But it turns out the genius of Bax is that it is a warehouse. Shipping is your thing.
I got a brand new, pristine Epiphone Les Paul Modern, which I swear has never been touched by human hands, it arrived fast, dispatched within hours, arriving in days, and the packing was amazing, using solid, reinforced boxes so strong I’ve since glued them both together to use as a garden bench.
I also got a strap, flight case, strap locks, all great prices, and b-grade tuner that frankly I could have sworn was mint. All first rate, flawless, and all arriving within days.
I have never had such service from another music store. And I never shall, because from now on I will only ever buy at Bax.

Very happy with the service I received from Bax music, from the initial order to delivery, I was kept informed of the order progress via email from Bax and tracking info from the courier. I ordered a pair of Krk 8 g4 studio monitor's they were the best price compared to other Music shops, I'll definitely be using Bax music in the future.

DIY guitar kit (LP type) seems to be a good purchase with the guitar wood very attractive. Haven't started building it yet so can't comment on the hardware. However the big drawback is the lack of wiring instructions which make the wiring very difficult and pretty much hit and miss. It would have helped a little if the wiring was solderless. So many diagrams online and with different colour cabling trawling the net for answers doesn't really help. Included instructions would have helped and probably give me the confidence to buy the tele version but without them I'll probably not bother again.

Ordered a Rockboard Tres3A pedalboard to replace a very well gigged homemade board. Bax delivered on time and kept me informed of the order status from the start. The option to have it delivered to our local post office was great and saved me from having to stop in all day. The Rockboard is superb and comes with a gig survivable ABS case rather than a flimsy bag. I can recommend this pedal board, it’s very easy to set up.

Absolutely beautiful guitar and plays like an absolute dream! Was more than a little concerned that it may end up being a bit of a gimmick but this absolutely the perfect guitar for electric players wanting to add an acoustic element. Love the neck, action & setup straight out of the case was brilliant and the customer service from Bax second to none. Was really pleasantly surprised by how quickly the guitar arrived and how much care had clearly been taken to package it to arrive safely. I'd highly recommend the instrument and would definitely encourage others to order it through Bax music! Thanks!

I recently ordered an Epiphone Wildkat Antique Natural Semi-Acoustic Guitar from Bax, it was listed as B Stock, missing its original packaging. The guitar quickly turned up, very well packed in a Bax box, and there was not a mark or blemish on the instrument, which is a real beauty. I couldn't be more pleased, and there was a big reduction of the price, considering the only' defect' was the absence of an Epiphone carton! I have purchased other items from Bax previously, and they have always provided an excellent service.

Communication with Bax was good and the speakers arrived promptly. I have tested the speakers with pre-recorded music and also in a PA setting with live vocals & midi backing tracks. They sounded pretty good although the power handling was not brilliant. However, for budget speakers I think they are excellent value for money.

Easy on line ordering and tracking of goods. Good price and I am delighted with my new Lag travel guitar,lovely tone and finish. Looked at Taylor GS Mini but didn't want to spend too much, so good option for me.Delivery on time and we'll protected for transport.

I ordered a Blipbox as a gift, once ordered company kept in touch with updates which was good. The price was competitive, which is of course relevant, the item was well packed to protect it. The recipient is absolutely delighted and is having great fun learning what the Blipbox can do and is creating different sounds with it. I’m happy recipient is happy so that’s all you want! The courier was here exactly when he said he would.

Brilliant as always. Best price by a long way on my Synth. Dispatch was lightning fast. Only down side was parcelforce were the courier who are awful. But that wasn’t any fault of Bax. Hope they offer DPD as an option in future as they are the only good couriers around
