Canceling order receiving refund
Since the 13th I have tried multiple times after holding on the phone for more than 4 hours and not being able to cancel through internet because of lack of employees I was told that I surpassed the 15-minute window?. How can one cancel an order when you can't reach anyone by phone for hours or email. The next day I tried again by Tech and I literally kept getting texts over and over from 12:30 in the afternoon until almost midnight at night I was assured that the situation was handled at that time but I have yet to receive my refund my order was $154 and some sins and I received a $26 refund. This is Ludacris and I have never heard of a business that cannot be reached online and then to take 3 days of waiting in excess of 15 hours to resolve a problem is unacceptable. It would not surprise me if Bed Bath & Beyond does not go bankrupt very quickly.

Poor shipping time/wrong packaging/broken item
I ordered a gift from the wedding registry to bed bath and beyond. I never been so disappointment to any store as bad as this time. Tonight, I received the package that I ordered since I had to return the 1st one due to damaged box (you cannot gift it, it's embarrassing) It's in a box but Bed Bath & Beyond packaged it in the plastic bag. Why? That's a box then it should be in the box. Tonight, it's the same thing! It was shipped in a bag! So... Of course the box is ruined and worse thing my item is broken (mini food processor). Now, I don't have a gift on time for the couple. Thanks to you BED BATH AND BEYOND I'm having to return it again for the 2nd time around. I have been dealing with this 1 item for more than a month! This will be my last trip to the store. You just lost another customer. I am super disappointed and very unsatisfied with this purchase. Shipping is way too long, wrong packaging and broken item. What else could go wrong!

False advertising and useless customer service
I received an email with a promotional deal to earn up to $150 back on a purchase over $600, I had my completion discount available still to use so purchased my stroller a bit earlier than I was planning to. The email promotion that I received showed it was from BuyBuy Baby with the Canadian flag beside it, when I clicked the link in the email it brought me to the Bed Bath & Beyond website, which makes sense since there isn't actually a BuyBuyBaby in Canada. I never received the the $150 "My Funds" and have been trying to get this resolved for weeks now, to be told over and over that this was a US only promotion. The stroller is now on sale for $150 off and Bed Bath & Beyond aren't willing to price match in place of the My Funds, no where in the email promotion does it say its a US only promotion and clearly looks like its for CDN consumers. I should also note that this is the same format that I have received the 20% coupons in the past which work fine on the Bed Bath & Beyond website. Long and short of it I'm out $150 which would be great to put towards my nursery chair, will be attempting to go talk to someone in store to try and resolve this, but not holding my breath, so far customer service has been useless on the phone and online.

Only some items shipped after the order was supposed to be delivered
I placed an order on 12/3. The order was supposed to be delivered between 12/6 and 12/12. The order was still processing after it should have been delivered. I got an email on 12/14 telling me my order has been shipped. On 12/16 the order still had not arrived and was no where near being delivered. Also, BBB only shipped 2 of the 3 items I had ordered. When I called to cancel the order, the customer service rep could do nothing for me. Apparently there is no way to cancel an order unless you cancel it 30 minutes after you place the order. She could not even cancel the 1 item that had not even been shipped yet. The customer service rep then proceeded to tell me that I would have to return the items to a store, which may or may not except them, or FedEx them back before Bed Bath & Beyond would even start the process of refunding my money. That is not helpful when 1 of the items in your order still has not even been shipped. Lastly, I was told that the warehouse is too busy to send an email out stating whether or not the 1 item I am still waiting to ship will be canceled or not. The customer service rep said the warehouse gets busy and does not have time to send out emails. Now I must wait until who knows when to receive items I do not want before I can get my money back. Do not order online from Bed Bath & Beyond. You may never see your items or get your money back.

Double charge and hold on online orders?! Punishment for purchase?
The website is not very informative about how the choose to charge you for your purchase. I was under the impression that it was just the total of the entire purchase plus tax (with free shipping if the order is over $49). So day of, I was charged the almost $200 for everything. The next day I get into my online bank account, and about have a heart attack when I see another almost $200 gone from my checking!

I immediately called customer service, got a VERY quiet representative who seemed to act as if my calling took up a large chunk of her day. She informed me that the initially charge you the entire amount, and then when the order ships it also charges individually for the items until Bed Bath & Beyond arrive...? So am I being punished for making this purchase? Do I have to pay double if for some reason my order doesn't arrive?

This is absolutely ludicrous. What if I had not had that much money in my bank account? Would they have reimbursed me for over draft fee's they caused? (I really doubt they would). Why in the heck does it make sense to hold the same amount of money twice for one purchase until I receive it?! Pure insanity.

I WILL NEVER ORDER OR PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN.

Horrible customer service
To say I am disappointed in Bed Bath and Beyond is an understatement. My boyfriend ordered me a vacuum cleaner I really wanted for Mother's Day from the website because I had a 20% off coupon and so it was a really great deal! I was super excited. When the delivery came, I opened the box, and inside was a much more expensive espresso maker. Hmmm. So I contacted customer service and Bed Bath & Beyond sent a label to send the espresso machine back, and said once they received it, they'd send the vacuum. I was annoyed that they wouldn't send my vacuum unless they had their other item back but it gets so much worse! I sent the espresso machine back and waited and waited. While I was waiting, I received about 3 confusing emails, which although didn't make complete sense, kept telling me that the vacuum was on its way. So two weeks later, I still haven't received the vacuum. I waited over an hour to text with customer service who informed me that now the vacuum is sold out and on back order. They didn't know when it would be back in stock. I asked for a refund. So now, two weeks after, still no refund! So now we are waiting - again - to text with a customer service rep to ask where the refund is. What a headache! And I still end up without the thing I wanted. So it's basically hassle upon hassle for no reason. And the customer service so far has been beyond awful. I may go to a store again in the future, but no matter what, I will NEVER order from the website again! Just an unpleasant experience overall. I mean, had they shipped me the right item in the first place, I would have the vacuum and be perfectly happy. Instead, I'm STILL trying to get my refund. When I do get it, I will reorder the vacuum from a different retailer. So unimpressed with Bed Bath and Beyond's customer service. Honestly, they really don't deserve one star.

I have shopped here before!
Bed Bath & Beyond have all sorts of fragrances lotions, soaps, etc. Their fragrances consist of natural fruits and things like that. Things like pear fragrance, or kiwi fragrance, Gardenia, honeysuckle, or strawberries, or Coconut. Delightful fragrances to delight the soul! I know! I used to wander around sniffing at all their fragrances, sampling some, as you will find that they offer sample bottles, buying them if I liked what I smelled. One of my most favorite was and still is a watermelon summery fragrance that I love! They have all sorts of things you can keep in your bathroom and in the kitchen by the sink if you need to wash your hands! Look at their sight if you'd like and go to their store in person if you can and check out all their collections. You just might fall in love with their store and their pricings!

Great 1st time experience
I took the plunge and ordered a Margaritaville frozen concoction maker through BBB. Our local story does not carry the product. I had a 20% off coupon which combined with free shipping helped me decide to finally order this product.
I found the website easy to use and my product arrived quickly. I appreciated the ease of reading product reviews as well as the format of the reviews themselves.
I am a little worried about what happens if the machine doesn't work properly as the packing instructions indicate not to return the item to the store.
The machine was packaged well but came in a box that took up a good portion of my front porch. My neighbors have been teasing me about it. Of course, now that Bed Bath & Beyond know what was in there, they want to come over for margaritas. Party!
So... since I can't return the item to the store, I am hanging onto the gigantic box just in case. Tonight is the trail run!

Bed Bath and Beyond Scam membership fee and gift card. Buy 1 Thing for whole week CS handling, $#*!!
Ok i need to say one thing is I got forwarding products but I use real money to shop bed bath and beyond, and none of them will tell u why Bed Bath & Beyond cancel your order. I purchase, try to, a warm wrap, only one thing, but I discover their membership fee discount so I joined the plan, pay more bucks. Its fine then, I start to order, and trying 5 times, none can I order, and you know what, I need to handle their emails daily as well, with their CS claimed will call me back, none of them do, and they dun REFUND for membership fee or others, if I cant buy anything on bb&b what s the point collecting my membership fee and gift card? They dun reli help you even I contacted their CS daily, for whole week, can u imagine its tat hard to buy a product from them.

ALL CANCELLED no matter how confused I'm to buy it: I got a record here for the only 1 item I trying to buy online from them, and dunno whats going on, so I keep trying, I changed my card, changed my forwarding address to office address, changed to a gift card... NONE WORKS, NO ONE HELP. Is it using a forwarding address not allowed? If yes, they should tell me upfront or at the first time trying, not by the 5th time I trying, plus I asked their CS, they said they dunno, they tell me to wait for them call back, or I call back, are u $#*!ing serious? I do this for 1 whole week, daily CS with them plus mobile phone.

MOST HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!
I placed an order for a comforter set on 9/3/2020 and it "shipped" on 9/5. Great service, right? Well on 9/16 I still hadn't received my order so thought I'd track it again to determine what happened. The tracking number came up "waiting carrier pick up". Frustrated I contact Bed Bath & Beyond and couldn't believe it took over an hour of god awful hold music to get someone on the line. Someone based in the Philippines who I could barely understand and ended up repeating what she said and what I was saying. In the end she said she would check the warehouse and send an email. She did none of those things and the next day I called and again went though the same only this time suggesting Bed Bath & Beyond place a new order and have it ship 2-day via FedEx. That didn't happen and on about the 18th I called and this time waited 45 minutes, I asked for a refund. The man from the Philippines (I asked where he was located because it's very difficult to communicate) said he would process the refund and I should see it back on my card in 2-3 days. Today is 9/22 and I've contacted my bank to dispute the charge because I have yet to see my refund. I'm done with Bed Bath & Beyond and will NEVER do business with them again. It's absolutely terrible customer service and even upon an attempt to contact their corporate offices I was hung up on before I could speak to a person. Sheesh, thanks to Chase Bank I will receive my money back.

OMG, Do NOT buy from them!
I ordered a hot water urn on March 14,2021 and was promised delivery on March 16,2021. As of 10:30 p.m. March 18 my item did not arrive. The tracking information kept pushing the delivery date off from the 16th to the 17th to the 18th and then to the 19th.

I called and spoke with Rowlen in Customer Service. After a lot of go-around, he finally agreed to send me a replacement, but wouldn't tell me when I could expect it. I then received an email that it would not arrive until somewhere between the 23rd and the 26th. That was unacceptable as that would have required me to wait at least one week for the item I ordered.

I called Customer Service again, and reached Angel. I asked that delivery of my replacement order be expedited. I was told it could not be expedited. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that it wasn't possible to transfer the call to a supervisor. I told her I know she has a supervisor and that I know expedited shipping is possible and that she clearly wasn't being truthful.

I was put on hold for several minutes. Angel came back and offered me "expedited shipping" within 2-3 days. I pointed out that since I had already been promised delivery of the original order within 2 days, that that was not expedited shipping. I was then cut off.

I called back and spoke with Nolan who claimed I was getting expedited shipping with a delivery date of March 23-26. That clearly is NOT expedited shipping. I asked him where it was shipping from and he advised me it was shipping from Carteret NJ. I live in East Windsor, NJ. There is no reason shipping should take 5 days from Carteret to East WIndsor. Furthermore, there is no universe in which 5 days to ship an item from Carteret NJ to East Windsor NJ is expedited shipping.

I again asked to speak with a supervisor, was placed on hold and was then connected with Bob Lowe. He again said he could offer "expedited shipping" whereby I would receive the item within 2-3 business days. I asked how that qualified as expedited shipping and was told "That's our terminology". I asked to escalate the call further. While Mr. Lowe admitted the call should be expedited he said there was no one else to talk to. I told him I didn't believe that. I asked for the name of his supervisor and he would not give it to me.

I have ordered from Amazon, Walmart, and Target and gotten my orders within 2 days or less. I know that it is possible to actually expedite shipping. If this experience is at all indicative of how your company treats its customers I cannot imagine how it stays in business. I have no trouble wondering how it could have filed for bankruptcy.

This is my first and only experience ordering anything from your company. I will never do so again.

Today, March 19, I recevied an email that my item was delivered. I went to my door. It wasn't there. I had asked for a refund and while I spent over $23.00 Bed Bath & Beyond only issued a refund of $23.00 and are insisting the item was delivered. This is fraud and it's also theft by deception, which is a crime in NJ.

If you choose to buy from them, you're asking for trouble!

The place where coupons NEVER EXPIRE
I am a long time shopper at Bed Bath & Beyond, but only shopped there occasionally because I used to think their prices were high; once compared to other retailers for the same product (i. E. Quest Protein Bars) I discovered that I was wrong. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE ON THEIR COUPON LIST! The $5 and 20% coupons can be applied at checkout that matches the amount of your order. In other words, while there's a limit, Bed Bath & Beyond give you the maximum allowed. I LOVE THAT! To be able to use expired coupons, they must have your name on them. In other words, you have to subscribe to getting them in the mail. The stores are ALWAYS clean and everything looks brand new. The selection of products is a lot bigger than most people are aware of. Their sale items at the end of each aisle offer deals one only dreams about. Keep up the good work!

Always has amazing deals!
I love the items from Bed, Bath & Beyond! I am not allergic to their lotions, which is a rarity for me. 90% of lotions out there leave me covered in a rash! But these creams that smell great don't affect me negatively at all. Plus the large number of fragrances is impressive too. I love their hand soaps, especially the new ones with olive oil! It's just not worth going to the store when their website sends me all kinds of great offers on a regular basis. The ONLY time I go to their stores is to return something and save the cost of return postage. I wait for big discounts or discounts plus free shipping before I order, and I have a ton of stuff from this company! Rarely do I find tems that are as great smelling and that I have no allergies to, so BB&B has won my loyalty.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY ONLINE
I ordered two bath towels and two hand towels for a bridal shower on 9-19-18. The order was shipped and arrived on 9-25-18. Well I received 1/4 of the order although (one bath towel); although on the tracking information it showed everything was delivered. I called customer support around 12n on 9-25-18 to let them know I had not received the complete order and that I needed it by 9-28-18 as the bridal shower is on Saturday, 9-29-18. The agent assured me that she could expedite and that I would have the rest of my order by no later than Friday, 9-28-18. The morning of 9-28-18 I tracked the package and it showed it had shipped and that was it. I called customer support again and talked to an agent who then said that my merchandise was in NJ (I am in NC) however she would check and give me a call back. This was at 9:00am EST. At the 3:00pm EST I had heard nothing back and called customer support back to be told sorry this is through one of our vendors and there is no way we can get it to you this quick. With all that being said no one really acted as if Bed Bath & Beyond cared and now I will be forced the morning of the shower to last minute try to pick something up for the bridal shower. Terrible experience, and the worse part is that after speaking to three customer support individuals 1) the first one misinformed me about the expedited order and the actual arrival date 2) the second one said she would check on things and call me back and never did 3) the third one could have cared less and just simply said "well there is really nothing I can do". Shop on-line somewhere else! Not worth it!

Poor Electric Blankets, Poor Customer Service
I ordered a Micro Flannel electric blanket from BB&B online. I followed the manufacturer's instructions exactly but the blanket would not heat up. I contacted the manufacturer, Shavel Home Products, and Bed Bath & Beyond said they would send out a new controller. Never received a confirmation email to this effect. Re contacted the manufacturer who said the employee I spoke with no longer works for Shavel and the controller order was never placed, but this new customer service agent would send out a new controller immediately. AGAIN, no confirmation email to this effect. Contacted Shavel AGAIN a few days later and the same employee said she would send out the email. Three hours later - no email.

Contacted BB&B customer service 1-800 number who said my call would be answered in 20 minutes or less. Have been on hold over 20 minutes.
Shop elsewhere, avoid the frustration!

Do not use Same Day Delivery
For the month of February 2021, shipping at Bed Bath & Beyond has been atrocious. Order placed February 09,2021 and received February 26. It only took 17 days for my item to arrive AFTER I contacted customer service. I thought this might be a product stocking issue, so I let it slide and placed another order. The second order was a gift so I thought I would pay $10.00 for Same day delivery. What a joke! I placed the order 2/27/21 and still have not received it. I called customer service to cancel the order. For the first 15 minutes of the call the guy could not locate the order. His English was very poor and I had to ask him to repeat many times. Why do customer service centers not have English speaking people? He finally found the order and said he could not cancel the order because the order was being shipped. He could not tell me when my package would arrive other than the date and time that was stated on the BBB App, which had already expired. He did offer to refund $10 for the Same Day Delivery and told me I would have to return the item to the store. When it arrives... if it arrives. He said the shipping carrier is D-ship. But my last late package was delivered by USPS. USPS! That is a whole nother review topic. Don't get me started with that one! Needless to say, I will not be ordering from BBB anymore. I tried to give them my business but now I will be turning to Amazon for their Prime delivery service. And Amazon's great customer service.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced! I'd rate them less than 1 star if possible.
I ordered 7 baskets and paid for 7 baskets. Received my order with only 6 baskets enclosed. I thought it would be a simple fix. Call customer service but can't get through to anyone. Have currently been waiting on hold for 1 hour and was told the wait was 30 mins. I found a customer chat window and 'missing items from order' isn't an option and there is a 4 1/2 hour wait for that. Bed Bath & Beyond offer text help and that wait is 7 hours?/. It's (Bed, Bath &) BEYOND frustrating! I get that times are more challenging with Covid but in this instance, it's more of an excuse for extremely negligent poor customer service. They took my order and my money within seconds and yet there is no one to help me with their mistake! I will NEVER give them my business again. At some point, I've got to let go of the missing basket because my time is much more valuable.

Wonderfully mediocre...
Yes, I depend on this store for the most mundane and necessary objects, I will confess.

It is however wonderfully/dreadfully mediocre -- depending upon your POV.

This behemoth is now located in every sizable community in the US in all of its splendid "boringness"... another metastasis in corporate Americana. I find it one step above Walmart and Dollar General, in terms of quality and originality.

If you are looking for the most average of housewares, kitchen gadgetry, bed and bath linens and such... you might be satisfied.

I long for the days of the interesting and privately own and run kitchen goods store, linen shops and even the good old five and dime known as Ben Franklin's or Woolworth's.

Most of the sales "associates" are clueless... and the layout of the brick and mortar stores is confusing and ridiculous.

The best service & products at same or lower than Walmart price!
Why put up with Walmart junk (both in products and so-called customer service) when you can get the same or better products at the same or lower price at BB&B?

I used to think that their prices were higher than Target etc. Even with higher price, their products were never like junks from Walmart.

In recent years, I noticed that their prices are really very compatible if not lower than even Walmart. And then their customer service is excellent. But I didn't know until last week that Bed Bath & Beyond would ship items to home without minimum purchase requirements.

Last week, I had to drive all over town trying to buy an item from Target. Target price was about 20% lower than Walmart on this one. But, they gave me wrong info on which stores had it. After driving to their second store and not finding it, I gave up. Target offered to ship it, but at extra shipping cost. I went to BB&B next door, hoping that they might have it. They didn't gave it in the store but offered to fed ex it to my home - and no minimum purchase or shipping charges. I am positive that BB&B probably lost money on this deal. I don't know why I have been shopping at Target (Walmart if not at Target, but really do my best to stay away from it.)

Bed Bath and Beyond Belief!
On February 6 I ordered a Tie the Knot Registry Gift Card in the amount of $100. On Feb. 12 and again today, Feb. 15, I received a notice of delivery delay. I found odd a delay on a paid gift card and initiated a chat with customer service. This is the response: "Thank you for patiently waiting. Upon checking on your order it was cancelled because it is showing as out of stock on our end. And the refund was already returned to your card ending with 4303. And it should reflect on your end within the next few days." This is not reflected in the order status, which clearly states that the order is being fulfilled and cannot be cancelled. Why send two delivery delay notices if the product is out of stock? How was this not detected at the time of order? Bear in mind, the product is a gift card! Totally unsatisfactory service and customer relations. Despite what the agent informed me in the chat, the order status does not reflect this.
