Beer Hunter

Would be zero if I could, ordered for a birthday present , box came damaged, cans bented paid extra for next day delivery came 4days later. Also paid extra for personalised card that wasn’t even sent. When I contacted customer services they weren’t interested and now ignoring my emails. Will not be ordering or recommending again. Will be reporting them !!!

Really happy to have found this company. Excellent selection and prices online. My 2 parcels arrived quickly, very securely packaged given the amount of glass and the branding of Beerhunter on the box looked very cool. So much so I’m keeping the boxes. Husband very happy with his unusual gift. Highly recommend them!

I had an urge for a particular German beer. I googled the beer and Beer Hunter came up. Hooray, they had the beer. I felt that I really ought to treat myself and order some. The beer came within a few days, it was very well packaged and actually cost less than I expected. In short what's not to like, they got me my beer, it was quick and I've already drunk it all.

Smart, prompt service, discounted price an unexpected bonus as was the free shipping!
Then there was the beer! Unlike Carlsberg, it probably is the best beer in the world and only available at this price from Beer Hunter. They may have many imitators but on this occasion came out tops. Well done!

Thank you for allowing me to write a review. I am disappointed, to be honest, Having made the order request on Thursday 14th April and then only receive the order Monday 25th April seems a long time to wait. I appreciate I was advised the order would not be processed until Tuesday 19th due to the Easter weekend but to then wait almost a further week I find this disappointing. DPD sent an email to say they will deliver Thursday the 21st when the case was not dispatched to them I find it strange, but that is an issue with DPD not Beer Hunter. Not sampled the beer as yet but the length of time it took to receive as mentioned was frustrating.

My order of a St Bernard's Begium Beer gift pack arrived on time and was very well packed ( it had a glass with it )
The beers were all new to my husband and very much enjoyed. I enjoyed trying them as well which is unusual as I usually stick to wine !! So a very successful gift :)

I have always enjoyed the Belgian beers you have . Unfortunately my last delivery had a broken bottle and I sent pictures of the broken bottle . I was then asked to send photos of the packaging which I did and haven’t heard a word back . Won’t be buying any more unfortunately because of this .

The product was as described but service is poor! Got a delivery date which came and went but customer services are only part time (only available until 2:30pm!) so take an age to respond.
I got fobbed off in the response with another fake delivery date and no help. Eventually got delivered over the 3-5 working days stated on the website.
Due to the lateness the gift was of no use to me so have had to return. What a waste of everyone’s time and money. Won’t be using again.

Ordered a case on Sunday night, didn’t arrive until the following Saturday lunchtime, which was too late for the reason I ordered it. Customer service tried to tell me it had arrived on the Wednesday, when I sent them the tracking from DPD showing it was Saturday they stopped responding. Really poor service and I won’t be ordering from them again.

Seems pretty disorganised. Tried them twice and both times the order was split without notification. Both times the second part didn't arrive. First time I got a quick refund. Still waiting to resolve second time round as all I'm getting is a confusing round of emails from DHL and no contact from Beerhunter at all. Needless to say, there won't be a third time!

Worst online retailer ever, be aware that the product descriptions and origins of the so-called imported beer (Becks in this case) isn't genuine imported from Germany, it's the below-par brewed in the UK under licence rubbish.
When I complained I was fobbed off and told I could return my order at my own expense..

Spoke with Jo who was very helpful (can't fault her really) but appears you were let down by your suppliers and didn't have the stock in the first place, which is a bit concerning if you advertise in stock on your website?!!
I had to call to chase my order and find out what was happening.
Jo has got back to me with a refund or wait but I would like to hear back from Beerhunter as the feedback form is a bit insult to injury...

Bought a 12 pack of Ayinger Oktoberfest and a 12 pack of Augustinier Edelstoff...The Ayinger was half price and the BBE date was May 2022, that was to be expected given Oktoberfest was a few months ago but the Edelstoff was full price with a BBE June 2022 which was v disappointing...

Would never have arrived if I hadn’t phoned to check on the Monday, said 3-4 days when i placed order and took longer, stressful experience as was suppost to arrive on time, had to chase 3 times, only got their in time because I chased, ordered on the wednesday and delivery was following wednesday, was expecting on the monday

I used beer hunter to pick up a great selection of German beers and some great international lagers and I was really pleased I did . It was a great mix with an excellent selection of dark and light beers all top quality beers and they came pretty quickly. I have to say I contacted beer hunter directly about my order and Jo was brilliant sorted my minor niggle out and was exceptionally good 👍🏻 so all in all I would definitely recommend and say this is to be my go to place for a few quality beers 🍻 cheers 🍻

Used a promo offer to try this company via Groupon.
The beer was a little late in arriving but was well packaed.
The promo price was OK but unfortunately, the beer wasn't - not at all what I expected from their description.
There are other companies offering better selections and prices.

My order was placed on a whim from a Groupon offer, but it was definitely something which I would shop for otherwise!
Given the generosity of the offer, I expected quite a wait to receive my beers - but the processing and dispatch were very efficient, and my delivery arrived well within my expected timescale.
I know the purpose of such offers is to make people aware of the business - in this case, it has certainly worked, and I will be keeping an eye out for what else I can buy from them in future.

Extremely efficient I made a mistake with my order, ordering two of the same they delivered one and when I contacted them to explain my mistake they rectified the personalised gift and was sent out the next day. This was down to excellent service from JO in customer service who was able to communicate with me which was brilliant, I will continue to use their service.

I couldn't go to Munich for my 70th birthday in 2020 for the Oktoberfest due to Covid. Ditto in 2021.
2022, BeerHunter to the rescue - my own little beer festival with no worries about Covid restrictions. Beer is good. Excellent price.
By coincidence, I already had my own 330cl Ayinger beer glass from a visit there many years ago. All adds to the authenticity.

Ordered two cases of beer which were delivered quickly. One bottle was smashed but clearly happened in transit. After speaking to Jo in customer services I sent pictures as requested. The case of 4 beers was replaced not just the 1 bottle that was broken. Their service is faultless & I highly recommend Beer Hunter & will definitely be returning to purchase more beer.
