I have been with Budget for over a year now. I found them to be very competitive on price. It was quick and easy to swap over to Budget. Recently I needed to change my use of the vehicle, which was very easy and quick.
Smashed my rear windscreen on the Sunday and by Tuesday it was replaced. Outstanding service especially by Island windscreens who carried out the replacement on behalf of Auto Windscreen's as normally being on an island thing’s normally take a while longer. Very impressed. Thank you
The price was OK so I let the policy roll over from last year. I hadn’t realised that I had not updated my payment to a new card and Budget charged me £20 late payment, thus making the insurance expensive. Not very happy .
Appalling service, only found out my insurance was going to auto renew 2 days before the date, I hadn’t been informed of my policy premium or any changed conditions,I went onto my account there was no new policy to view so I emailed budget with my concerns and express wish that the policy wasn’t to be renewed until I could see the premium and policy details as these had not been sent to me in any shape or form. I had auto response email back saying somebody would be in touch, this never happened either and they went ahead with the policy taking the money from my account and I’m still yet to hear any response from my email.
I had a query regarding payment and could not get live answer from bank. It was absolutely wonderful to get through to real person quickly on the telephone and be dealt with so efficiently and effectively. Thank you very much.
I was with Budget last year and they were very reasonably price. On renewal I thought the insurance would go up!!! It actually reduced a little. Very, very reasonable. Easy to renew on line. Totally trouble free and…. They gave me a gift voucher for being a customer last year. 10/10
Being a trusting person I accepted your quote without query.It wasn't until I read an independent report on policies that I realised there should not have been an increase year on year,confirmed by me looking at alternative options.
When I took out my policy with you twelve months ago,I inadvertently did not notify you of an incident in 2018 when my vehicle was hit by another on a supermarket carpark,There was no damage to my vehicle and only minor to the other vehicle.The matter went to court where the Judge found in my favour and thus no costs to my Insurer.However this cost me a further £45 on my policy with you because of my innocent mistake.This means that this years policy without that £45 being taken into account has increased by 25% year on year.I am a senior OAP and money is very tight at the moment.
Never used and really hope don’t have to. The price quoted was what I paid no hidden extras and for full cover the price is excellent beats majority of others and exactly the same cover recommend
When I received my renewal I realised I was paying monthly and decided to make an annual payment. I phoned the helpline and a very helpful lady changed everything for me without any problem.
Beware of the small print. If your credit card details have changed since the initial policy and the policy "auto renews", if Budget cant take your payment, they sting you with a fee! Nice.
Very straightforward firm to deal with and they even offered me a free gift towards the end of my first year which I could not use, but still, nice thought (5 quid Argos voucher or car wash). There did not appear to be any strings attached and they renewed my car insurance at a lower price without having to be haggled down. Pretty amazing, huh? I haven't yet found any catch, although I have not, thank God, had to make a claim. Really, they seem like genuinely nice people.
Extremely efficient service provided by Budget Insurance - from providing me with a cheaper renewal in plenty of time to make an informed decision; to texting me when they are due to take my monthly premium; the online platform is very easy to use; an advisor is at the end of a phone if required; and the £5.00 Tesco voucher was a pleasant surprise at the end of my Policy and extremely welcome too. All-in-all, one extremely happy customer. Hopefully, should I need to make a claim, the same high level of service will be provided.
Advanced level driver...full no claim bonus...Post Code risk area A... mileage less than 6k p.a...identical car and location to last year.
Renewal quote was 75% more than last year (SEVENTY FIVE PER CENT)
No one at Budget Ins. could give any coherent reason for this.

Been with you for a few years now and very happy with the way you work. My renewal arrived in good time and I didn't have to call for a better price or look around for a better quote. Your quote was actually less than I paid last year and the renewal was done automatically making it very easy for me. Hope the service continues next year and I will happily stay a customer. Good price and value (even if not claimed) however been given £5.00 Argos voucher to say thank you ! However when went to use I down loaded and the voucher did not exist !!! Very disappointed as I was about to use (embarrassed was I )
Maybe in future just take £5.00 off premiums!
The lady I spoke to when I had to phone them to discuss something was very helpful and pleasant. She quickly dealt with my enquiry efficiently. I've been with Budget Insurance for a few years and have never had any problems.
Well, Budget Made me very happy with my new quote, not only was it lower than last year's but they gave me a discount even reducing it further , How about that! Praise "GOD" that's what i say. So Good to find an insurance company that doesn't Fleece the customer every time you renew your insurance. Thank you everyone at Budget Insurance, keep up the good work, especially in these difficult times we find ourselves in.
Been with Budget for a few years now and have always been treated very well by them. This year I phoned and spoke to a lady and she said we will renew on the date with card details we have and I agreed. Just wish she had checked and told me my card would have been out of date as I then received e mail telling me card had been rejected and I got a charge of £20 was not very happy with this as surely the girl should have noticed when I phoned to renew.
