UNHAPPY Camper
We bought a 2020 Shockwave toy hauler from Camping World in Kaysville; built by Forest River. Our salesman was great, very personable. He sold us a $40,000 trailer and we gave him five star reviews. LOL
About the trailer... on our first trip out we found the stock mattress was amazing and the corner shower wonderful. The rest of the trailer is a piece of crap. This trailer is 30 1/2' from back end to the tongue (T24RQMX). It basically has NO/ZERO to very little storage space. (only under bed & the cabinet space is a laugh. (Our bad) My husband had to build a stand-alone cabinet we placed on the wheelwell to give us more storage inside. We just got back from our first Camp trip, trial run and had to come home early because of all the power problems that we had with an inline breaker UNDER the trailer that flipped every time we tried to use our generator. The fancy CD / radio / DVD player was a joke too. Not user-friendly. Very complicated. Could not get sound to come through outside speakers. The delivery on this trailer was poor. Very basic information given and then was told "just fiddle with it and you'll figure it out". The two nice comfy chairs that sit smack dab in the middle of the work area we're constantly in the way of navigating to cabinet space. Again, my bad. Should have paid closer attention to that. Also, there is virtually no counter space. Had to buy a standalone three tier rack just to store my paper products, Linens, Etc.
Problems? Here is a list...
Breaker tripping power
Found a short in the stereo component
Inside speakers making loud thumping noises.
Bedside Veneere was damage when CampingWorld fixed our bed (see details below)
Poor fitting Crown moulding
Tables misaligned and the edges are damaged, and pulling away
Outside panel dent
Front scuff
Propane cover broken
Missing Freezer tray- we have to pay extra for a 2nd one))
Toilet broken
We can literally find no studs to hang things like a paper towel holder, hook for a hand towel. Tried using on command hooks but they would not stick to walls because of the finish. Can't even hang a shower caddy.
The bed...
Queen bed lifts up for storage beneath. The construction is made of waferboard. Sliver city! It snags the mesh corners on mattress pad & it was NOT spring assist nor did it hold in place once up. However, this issue did get fixed. Took them a week just to get that done. We bought this trailer in February and asked to trade it for a different trailer the next day. We were told it was a used trailer now. It wasn't even licensed yet.
We are currently in process of reaching out to the general manager off Camping World. The service manager told us mid May that we would not be able to get an appointment until July.
We are also trying to contact Forrest River. We'll update this review pending the results we receive.

So... there it is... UNHAPPY CAMPER!

Overpriced Garbage
Here's the jist of our story, if you want to read: A year ago we traded our 36' travel trailer in at Camping World in Wood Village, OR for a brand new Jayco Jayflight. We took a huge hit on the trade-in (we got less than 50% of what we still owed on the old - but in decent shape - trailer), but needed a smaller trailer. After a nightmare with financing the new trailer, we took a huge financial hit registering it in Colorado. A year later, the "maintenance-free" batteries are shot, the water pump doesn't work, and the refrigerator was installed incorrectly, and doesn't work... it has been at the Longmont Camping World for repairs all summer (because the Camping World in Golden refused to return my numerous requests for an appointment in the Spring), and CampingWorld just told us they have to remove the entire roof due to damage from the refrigerator! It is 1 year old, and an expensive piece of garbage. I'm so disappointed! We were told the roof and refrigerator should be covered under warranty, but not the garbage batteries they put on it, and not the water pump (even though we winterized it according to the owner's manual). We were told this was a "well-built" trailer, but that is obviously a lie we were told so the salesperson could get his commission. I'll NEVER spend another dime at Camping World!

Poor marks on customer service
Right out the gate I will say the sales and finance departments were pretty awesome. Hard stop. From there it has all been downhill. We took the RV on a 3 day trip to Syracuse and made a list of two items for the 90 day check up. We took it to the Rossford facility because there were a couple of warranty items that CampingWorld had. It is a two hour drive. We told them when we arrived that the propane tank did not register inside the vehicle. The strange thing is they knew this when we drove it away but they needed the sale for the EOM and it was June 30th. They did not call us, we called them after two weeks. It took at least three calls to get any kind of an answer on the status. It was as if no one knew what was going on with it. We finally we found out when they would be finished, however, they never addressed the propane tank that we had told them to look into. A few calls later the tech said it was the wrong tank for the vehicle and needed to be replaced. They were supposed to call with the lead time. We had a trip scheduled for September 5. They didn't call me so I called them. No one was available in the service department so I asked for the service manager. Chad was very apologetic but that didn't fix the problem. The lead time is three weeks on the tank which completely thwarts our plans. I am annoyed that this wasn't dealt with when we first took it in. I am disappointed in Forest River for the mistake in the first instance. We paid a fair amount of money for a brand new RV and it turns out to be a bad move. If I could change time, I would not buy this RV and I wouldn't buy it from Camping World. This is not the best organization for extended customer service. I sent an email to Marcus Lemonis and did get an automated response saying all are read and some are answered. His problem is bigger than just me. I should have taken more seriously the reviews others had written, and so should Marcus. My bad. His bad.

Don't Buy Here
This is the worst dealer you could visit to purchase an RV. Both locations are horrible, Houston and New Braunfels. We purchased an RV in 2019 in cash. While driving the RV the spare fell out from under the RV because it was not secured properly. The vehicle was not a month old so it was under warranty. We reached out to the Houston location and was told since we live in Austin there was a camping World near us. We drove there with the RV and it was the worst execution ever. The service person we were assigned made every attempt to discourage us from leaving it there. Saying the manufacturer was bankrupt and CampingWorld were not. The service person even told us out right that there were things they were not going to fix and that we needed to take it back to the dealership we purchased it from in Houston. After a few moments we decided to leave the vehicle there and I was sometime in possibly the early to late November right before the Christmas holidays. We are now in the month of January 2020 and we still do not have the new vehicle that we paid for. We have reached out to the manufacturer and they are not in fact bankrupt. They explain the process of their warranty and how it works and that they could very well send the parts to the dealer to repair the vehicle. I have called both locations in Houston and new Braunfels where the vehicle is kept or being repaired. Neither of these locations is of any help they are dragging their feet as if they have Not a care in the world. I would be very wary to purchase any type of recreational vehicle or trailer from either one of these locations because neither one of them are up to snuff for us up to par with their customer service and anything that they offer. I have attempted to reach out to the location managers as well as reached out to the corporate office and each person attempts to tell me how they can't change with someone else has done but they don't mention how they will go ahead and get the problem solved as quickly as they possibly can. Having pay cash for recreational vehicle that you have yet to actually drive anywhere is pretty bad. So for those of you considering camping world you may want to check out their reviews because they are very bad including my review and they also have a ton of better business reports a ton of them over the last three years. So by your beware.

Stay away from Camping World
Camping World Woodstock is a dishonest dealership. WARNING: BUYER BEWARE!
Purchased a motor home on line, based upon salesman's description of the unit being in pristine condition. Management demanded payment in full prior to pickup in order to hold the unit so CampingWorld could close the month with the sale icluded. Inspection revealed motor home was severely damaged on passenger side, missing ladder, holes in rear where ladder was once, water stained damage on interior ceiling, all interior cabinets repainted, nothing inside was original, check engine went on soon after driving from the dealership, and many other issues. They do not keep promises. Called the general manager several times to inform him of the type of people working in his shop. He never returned my calls. They take your money and screw the customer. Lower level management was informed of the salesman's dishonesty and the problems with the motor home. I was told sorry it's a used unit and you own it and hung up. A complaint was filed with Corporate and legal action is being considered. Camping World is a large organization and don't care about honoring or satisfying customers once they get your money. My suggestion is to stay far, far away from this organization and deal with smaller mom and pop type of dealers who really aim to please and stand behind the product they sell.

Worst costumer service ever! They do not stand behind their campers!
Be sure you look underneath your camper before you buy it, and think about purchasing a camper somewhere else Other than camping world. CampingWorld are a franchise. The only thing they care about is the sale and the commission they get paid for it. Once you sign those papers and they sold you your camper, if you have any problems you can guarantee you will not get them fixed correctly. It will take at least 5 to 6 weeks to get your camper back, and when you call headquarters to place a complaint, all they do is send them an email and they never call you back. They have a slogan " If you're not happy we're not happy" that is the biggest line of crap I ever heard. So basically everything is great if you do not have a problem. But if something happens to your camper for one reason or another you can bet your bottom dollar that you're going to be aggravated and have the worst time of your life. When you express to the employees how upset you are, they do not care. This is the worst place I ever bought a camper, and this is my fourth camper. And I will never buy a camper here again and I encourage you to also do the same. Do yourself a favor and go to a small business or people actually care if you're unhappy we had problems with our gas line, and our stabilizers. Oddly enough when we were standing in the service line to pick up our supposedly repaired camper, there was a woman in front of me who was also waiting six weeks and very upset. I see she still having problems because they didn't fix all of her problems with her camper as well. We have a permanent campsite, and there's three people this year who purchased a camper from camping world who all had issues as well

Lies and Fraud
Bought a new Jayco travel trailer in January. Table was broken when we purchased it but CampingWorld said it would be fixed before we picked it up. Picked it up and table wasn't repaired. Made a schedule to bring it back to have the table repaired. Also had the dewinterize done which cost over $70. Brought back to have table repaired and ask why the onboard water pump wasn't working. Turns out that they never did the dewinterization which would explain why I had to flush the system to get all the anti-freeze out. Pump wasn't working because they never turned the valve which would have been done had they actually dewinterized it. Argued for an hour with the service manager to get my $70 back for the work that wasn't done while he rolled his eyes and treated me as an annoyance for taking up his time. Jo, the service desk woman lied to me and said that they never flush the system of the anti-freeze but the technician said in front of her and the service manager that they always flush the system after a de-winterize. No respect to customers who just spent nearly $30,000 and to argue and lie is beyond just dishonest.

Worst dealership anywhere
The absolutely worst experience I've ever had
If I could give this business zero stars I would. It was absolutely the worst experience of my life. I went to camping world with my friend on January 3rd which was my birthday. We just went to look and went inside the showroom to see what location the used campers were. A man named Hunter introduced himself as the sales manager and he put us in contact with Tyler Meadows. The 4 of us went into hunters office and CampingWorld wanted to do a soft credit check to see what I may qualify for. I was hesitant because after a divorce, my credit score was very bad but over the years I had babied it and had gotten it up to the low 700's. After the check Hunter said that I qualified for no money down as long as I stayed within a certain budget which I did. After 4 trips and about 70 emails back and forth ( which I still have) I was told over and over that I could get the camper that I wanted for no money down and the payments would be within the range that I needed them to be. I was then told that Hunter never should have told me that because he was a salesman not over the finance Dept. Being a customer walking into a business, you have someone introduces themselves as a member of management, having my credit run, you take for granted that you are being told the truth and not being mislead. Once it was told to me that Hunter didn't make those decisions, I was told I needed a co signer. I have good credit but I haven't had a big purchase in a long time. I have a friend that was willing to co sign and her credit is 825. You can't get much better so, here we are again thinking everything was going to work out. Mind you, this camper was only $12,999. It's not like I was trying to finance $40,000. I even ask if it was going to be a go because if it was, I needed to pay lot rent so I didn't lose the place I had found and was told that it was good to pay the rent which I did. I was told today that I couldn't get the one that I had planned for 2 months and I'm out the lot rent. I also have the email saying it was good to pay the lot rent. I have never been so decived, lied to and disappointed in my life. I did everything these people ask for even getting a co signer with perfect credit. I finally just got fed up dealing with this company and Tyler Meadows-salesperson and told him to just stop. My credit was checked hit by 6 different finance places and my friends twice. So long story short. Here i sit with lower credit now than I did when I went there, out the lot rent money, and no camper. Run fast and run far away from that dealership. UPDATE:: although I have received a response from their corporate office. Still nothing was done other than a promise to refund the lot rent which as of March 18th still hasn't arrived. I emailed to corporate all of the emails I had from their salesperson with the promises, lies and deception. It showed everything that I had been told for 2 months. They were no more help than the dealership that coned me. Go to Lazy days or Miles RV. Try anywhere but Camping world. They obviously don't care about the way their employees treat customers because the corporate office isn't any better. UPDATE:: April 2 it has been a month since I was told at the corporate office by Mr. Sabia and also the manager Bobby Dixon at the camping world Asheville location that I would be receiving a refund check for the lot rent I paid after being told my deal was a go. This just shows how you will be treated from the dealership all the way to the corporate offices. No refund check and no response. It looks like I'm going to have to take money from my 401k to hire a lawyer but after 70 emails with promises that were never followed through with and 4months of back and forth. Obviously this company has no intention of doing the right thing. So the response that you can see under my comments asking me to contact them, I did. It was the corporate offices. Yeah they really wanted to turn things around. I will not be quiet or go away until this is fixed. It's causing me emotional distress.

Horrible service. Don't waste your money
FOLLOW UP REVIEW since last post! We were contacted by the GM, Mr. Davis, after our review. He told my husband that we would deal exclusively with him to fix the issues on our new 2020 camper. He asked for pictures of what needed to be done. We sent them. CampingWorld hired Mr. Meadows( who we actually liked and appreciated) a local service tech from our areato come. We followed up with Mr. Davis to ensure that all parts were ordered and being sent to be repaired. Of course, the ball was dropped again. The underneath belly covering was not sent with the tech. When we called Mr. Davis he abruptly said that he had dropped the ball. My husband then said the problem is that your whole store is incompetent. We had been dealing with this since July. After a HUGE argument and unprofessional service(yelling and hanging up on my husband) and yes my husband was loud and called him incompetent, I called Mr. Davis and we were told they would send us the part and we could send him the receipt for the cost. If he thinks for one minute that I trust them on that they are crazy! As a leader (GM) how can you hold your staff to a high standard when he himself failed to do the job. I'm telling you, do not give money to this place. You will be sorry.

Below is the original complaint.
I urge anyone looking for an RV to look elsewhere. We have had nothing but a bad experience since day one. First, the sales portion was a nightmare. Between the sales person who gave us a quote and then said he was wrong on the quote to the next person who gave us a quote of almost 20,000.00 dollars more to the sales manager then coming with another 1,500.00 higher than the 20,000.00! We left. The next day a finance manager (Luke) called us. We had not dealt with him previously. He talked to us and told us if we only dealt with him would we still be interested in buying the RV? We were hesitant but decided to. Let me say Luke should run the dealership! The rest of them are horrible. We bought our very expensive RV. We had it delivered to our location. When we got there the AC did not work. A brand new RV. They sent someone to fix it. After a couple more months the door lock would automatically lock me out. Literally I was locked out twice. Went and had a key made and have had to use it many times. Not that big of a deal right? Well, try being locked in your camper! I couldn't get out. I literally had to go out the emergency window. Unacceptable. I have called them many times trying to get this fixed. Then our back wash area was leaking. We called them. They asked us to bring our rv in. We can't bring it in as we live in it right now while building a house. They sent a tech. He accessed the problem. Called th shop and told them what he needed. They were suppose to set a time to come within the next week. This is August. We never hear from them. We call again. They have no record that a tech came out or anything saying they ordered anything. We keep trying for weeks to get them to get what is needed to fix the door and the leak. We hear nothing. We call. They still have no idea what we are calling for! They ask us to send pictures. We do. In the meantime where it leaked it also sagged the underneath covering. It's now October. After much demanding, yelling and so forth they said they ordered the parts. They said a tech would to fix it on Thursday October 29. I asked for a time they said they couldn't give me a time I told them how very important it is for me to a e a time as I will be in a closing that day. They said the best they could do is give me a 2 hour notice. Of course they didn't. Of course they showed up while I was at the attorneys office. Left a message while I was In there. He left. We are still stuck with nothing fixed. When asked when they could come back the service rep Tyler said that was above his pay grade. Tanner the Service manager would have to call us. Yeah right. They literally are useless. Don't return phone calls and don't do one thing they say they will. I am here to give you the heads up. There are so many other places with integrity. Go there. Never give this place a dollar of your money. You will regret it.

Now on to make a BBB report and Good Sams report.

Very enjoyable experience working with Camping World compared to others we visited
My wife and I had a great experience working with Camping World in the search for a new RV. We had one of the most knowledgeable salesman (RON) that was a great listener with all of our needs and desires in our search for the perfect RV that we searched for throughout the Portland area. He gave us recommendations from his many years of experience which helped greatly. He knew our budget and kept us within our price range and helped in showing us the most for our dollar. I can say one thing, we had some sales representatives from other lots that showed us that we knew as much about the models we were looking at than CampingWorld did. Example at other lot., I asked, How many AC's does this unit have and the salesman literally had to walk several hundred feet away and look up to tell us. Ron on the other hand had all the answers while sitting comfortably together within one of the most beautiful models we were looking at purchasing. I have seen some reviews that were not as highly rated as ours, but I can say one thing for sure, this particular Camping World has some of the nicest and easy to work with representatives in the industry. We wish to Thank everyone who made our time at Camping World a very comfortable and enjoyable experience with no pressure whatsoever. Thank You Camping World and especially Ron for the awesome experience. A+ recommendation!

Bait and Switch
Needing a new awning I looked around and found Camping World had what I wanted. It was a Dometic 8500 and a metal weather shield. On the phone I ordered it and was told that to get the special price I would have to join Good Sam. $29.00 was added to the order and I told my installers it was on the way. I was a little concerned that I didn't receive an email conformation but waited and several days later I received a call inquiring about my delivery address. Humm, we double checked every detail and now the had the address wrong. Or did they? This was when CampingWorld opted to inform me that the weather shield was NOT included, Humm again. As you can imagine I was outraged, I demanded someone in management and I got a rude person named Larry. He told me it was not included and I informed him that my calls are recorded. I told him to review the company recordings where at least 3 people had confirmed the order included an awning AND a metal weather shield. A couple of days and I contacted him again and he admitted the sales people had told me the weather shield was included. He said "we made a mistake so we will ship the weather shield for only $150 more. Having me over a barrel I ok'd the order and requested to speak to someone in management. I was put in contact with Ellen Smith who said she would look into it and advise me of her decision. It has now been almost a month and I have heard nothing as far as a decision, just silence. I even requested to speak to her supervisor and have not heard from him/her.

Beware when doing business Camping World, read the reviews first.

Absolutely the worst company ever!
Do not buy from this company or you will be sorry. CampingWorld lie about everything including telling you to finance because you get a better deal than cash... this is ILLEGAL. The reason they tell you to finance is because they get a hefty kick back from M&T Bank. Then before you can leave they hook you up with insurance which is double the price of Progressive again because of heir kick back. They shove an extended warranty down your throat with fear tactics because of their kick back. They go ahead and charge for membership into the Good Sam's Club because guess what... THEY OWN IT! Lastly when I picked up my camper they have some flunky go through the camper with you the only problem they leave critical items up to you to figure out. I will never understand how this company is the largest RV dealer out there because they put their customers last. To top it off their CEO Lucas Lemonis is worth 500 million dollars which begs the question why is he doing this. Further Mr. Lemonis is on record in social media as stating that "if you are a Trump supporter then do not visit his businesses." Wow you basically write off half of your customers because of your political persuasion.
Camping World is a public company, I wonder how CW shareholders feel about this $#*!.

Camper World Steps on Our Big Dreams
I'd really don't even know where to start. I can't help but feel like I should qualify by telling a little bit about me and my girlfriend. I say this because we are not complaining type. We have purchased and sold homes and many other pieces of recreational equipment. We have outstanding reputations in the professional community as well as with our friends and our local community. We are two middle-class hard-working people that saved for years to purchase our dream, which was a fifth wheel camper that we could eventually live in full-time. We purchased a 2020 raptor from camper world in August. The first camper we purchased had a massive line cut through the paint on the front of it when we went to review it on the camper world walk through.
So, CampingWorld swapped it out with another identical raptor fifth wheel that was sitting on the lot. So we went back a week later to pick this one up. During the walk-through we found several issues, mostly cosmetic on both the interior and exterior. We also noticed that there was no heat coming out of the rear vent in the toy hauler area, the chair that raises up and down made a very loud noise in the chain system, and that there was no electricity to the entire front end of the camper. We were told that these are common issues and that they would be addressed quickly. After leaving the camper there for several weeks we went back to pick it up. They allowed us to camp in their complementary site next-door to make sure everything was working. As soon as we set it up that Friday evening there was still no power in the nose, still no heat coming out of the duct in the toy hauler and still a loud popping noise. At this point we also had an infestation of ants. We were told that ants are not their problem however the salesman tried very hard to fix it by putting his own bug bombs in the camper when we brought it back there that Sunday. Here we were waiting again for them to fix the electrical issue. While we had it in there we also decided to have a roof Wi-Fi antenna installed. I stopped in later that week to check on how things are going. I noticed that the circuit board was pulled down and there were wires hanging out everywhere from the placement of the circuitboard all the way to the back bedroom and every fixture in the bedroom. I took pictures and supported the cause by sending them into Keystone as well as forwarding them to the dealership. Keystone determined that the camper had been wired incorrectly and gave instructions for the dealership to fix it. So after another couple weeks we finally got the camper and they let us set up again and there lot next-door. This time the electric was working but they had miss-wired the Wi-Fi switch to a light switch. The heat still did not work in the rear of the hauler and the chain popping was still there. At this point had been a couple months since our purchase and we already were approaching our first scheduled trip. We were told we could take the camper and that they would address any other issues when we returned. On our first trip and on the very first night we also realized that the skylight in the bathroom was leaking, the side doors would continuously fly open because the latches were loose, and of all things the landing gear which was a highly recommended hydraulic landing system also was defective. We had to cancel our camping reservations at the first sight in Syracuse New York and instead bring it to the dealership there. Out of our pocket we paid for hotels while the dealership tried to examine the issues. They found that the skylight was leaking and they told us at that point that the motherboard that controls the hydraulic system was defective. They told us it would take weeks or months to get the parts and that we should just move on and try to get this fixed when we return home. So we went to our next stop in Lake George where we had a long weekend schedule before going home. When we went to leave Lake George, we hooked everything up and when we went to pull away we noticed that the right front landing gear would drop down halfway. We tried to call the very expensive road care service we purchased through camper World and were told that we would have to pay for everything out of pocket and then submit the claim to warranty. This was just maddening at this point after all the issues that we have already had after owning the camper for several months not being able to use it and still a pile of problems that we're not being addressed. Now we were supposed to pay to have it fixed on the road for hundreds of dollars?! We talked with the mechanic at the home shop we had purchased it at and they walked me through using my tools and how to temporarily fix the landing gear so we could get home. When we returned home we brought the camper to another camper world location that was closer to our house. At this location service advisor and the staff in general seem to be more focused than the first dealership we purchased from. They seem to have a little more empathy in their professional approach than the location we had purchased it from. Honestly we shouldn't have to beg for a good Customer service on purchasing anything let alone a $90,000 fifth wheel camper. However, believe me we had been made out to be the bad guy since day one and our complaints were met with frustration on the other side and a general theory that this is just what happens to campers and an "oh well" attitude. I shouldn't say that for everyone, as there are some good hard-working people that we met in the shop in other areas of camper world throughout this. However, management clearly protects the big corporate machine and their profitable interest by keeping issues like the ones we had at bay. As long as they can try to address it under warranty they will. The timeline in which the customer has to endure the agony of spending their life savings on a dream that was quick quickly diminished by poor craftsmanship and horrible customer service is the farthest thing from their concern. So having more confidence in the new camper world dealership we went over a list of 29 items and left it there in early November. They were to fix the hydraulic system, the skylight, the broken heating issue, several wood pops and other cosmetic issues, the faulty chain on the seat in the rear toy hauler area, and a few other things. When we went to finally pick the camper up in early March 2021 for our second trip which was my son‘s high school graduation trip to Florida that we had been planning for a long time, we found that absolutely nothing had been addressed on the camper and every single issue still remains. Wait, they did correctly re-wire the WIFi. Having no choice, we pulled out on a 10 day trip to Florida hoping that we could get through the trip as camper world instructed us to do. During the trip it did drop cold at night where there was no heat in the rear, the landing gear once again was stuck halfway down, and every time we raise the bed at night we had to listen to the loud popping sound of the misaligned a chain system. The landing gear would re-settle throughout every night waking us up constantly and eventually dropped back down halfway when all hooked up. I called both Keystone and camper world. I called the number that Marcus Lemonis sends to our home on a regular basis saying how open he used to hearing your feedback. There is no chance you were going to get Marcus Lemonis on the phone. He probably isn't even in the same country as the office that is answering these inbound calls. These people are very seasoned at playing the nice game but really giving you no results or solutions. Keystone does not take much more responsibility other than the fact that they are willing to give a out of service payout once the RV has finally returned to service. This of course will not compensate for at least 10 days of completely missed work being stuck at the dealership or stuck on the road with breakdowns, the frustration and agony that that has put us through on most every holiday or weekend since then worried that we have sunk our savings into an albatross that cannot be fixed. The cancelled trips, the long phone calls and the letters begging for a buy back or for some one to at least recognize the absurdity the campers issues. The last person that I spoke with a camper world corporate simply said we're sorry but these issues are cosmetic and we are just not going to do a buyback. We will fix them under warranty as quickly as we can. Well, we went back two days ago just before Easter Sunday here 2021. Seven months after we purchased the camper to find out that still absolutely nothing had been done to the camper. Not even the wood pops, the shades that were hung crooked, the molding that is now popping off slide outs, let alone the more serious issues like the landing gear, no heat to the rear,
The chain system or anything else. No one could really tell us why they just keep being extremely cordial and asking us to be patient while they address these issues. I don't think they think about how hard this is on people that really put everything they had into their dream and yet nothing but problems in return and leaving us with no sure idea that this will ever be fixed. Instead we are scared to death to even travel in this camper not knowing how compromised the electrical system is from those issues, if they will really fix the landing gear without that front leg dropping down while driving, or if the way they have to reroute the heating system because they hung the gray water tank in the wrong place at the manufacture can be addressed. What is crazy, as the camper also had a considerable amount of rust on the frame on the walk-through which we clearly pointed out. We have been told since then that it is not the responsibility of the manufacture because the dealership should've checked it and of course the dealership says that's not their responsibility because they must've built it in on a rusty frame. Again no accountability whatsoever for the big corporate giant and Marcus Lemonis is an adequate group of cronies. I will tell you that I am sad to even say that because at one time I watch the shows and admired his approach as I am also a CEO of a smaller company. My employees would never take this approach with our customers. It is really one of the very clear but sad examples of corporate giants stepping on smaller peoples big dreams. I hope this review helps in your next purchase. Please understand that our complaint is not necessarily about the people. The front line folks at work camper world are much like the rest of us. Working hard, paycheck to paycheck, getting it done and working under circumstances with incredible demand, not enough supply and the brunt of it falling on the shoulders of the front line. In my opinion it is the product that is an issue, and the leader ship behind the product that has systems in place that prevent it's customers from the satisfaction that they should be receiving.

Worse mistake I ever made.
My rv trailer has been for warranty work twice and it was damaged this last time. Trailer was sold to me brand new with a bent and damaged stabilizer jack, it was in the shop a month. A/C didn't work and the fridge was freezing everything. This time it was in the shop 10 weeks. CampingWorld replaced the thermostat on the A/C and did nothing but reset the fridge. Fridge still freezes everything. After it came out of the shop I noticed the dent and scratches about 4 ft off the ground where it was dented. My manufacturer's warranty and my paint protection warranty are automatically void because they damaged the trailer. The paint protection was supposed to be 5 years and cost 1500. 00. They tell me it is not refundable. The GM will not take responsibility for the damage and then tells me if I am not happy I can do a consignment with them. The person who does the consignments tells me it was not something they did there at their lot and my trailer would sent to another state then, asks me to sell the trailer to them at less than what I paid not offering any monies back on warranties. A warranty refund would take 8 weeks to process. I cannot get anyone to call me back now and have even complained to corporate who also has failed to follow through. I don't trust them to fix this properly and my service guy said 95% of the time there is hidden damage. I wanted them to buy back my trailer and refund my monies. I'm not happy and only used this trailer 4 times. What happened to their moto if you're not happy I'm not happy?

Brand New RV - Broke down in truck stop for days.
My wife and I purchased a camper from Camping World Uxbridge last week. We sat with 3 people, did the whole deal, financing, everything. The next day camping world called to let us know that ooops, they'd actually already sold the vehicle we bought.

Ok, that's weird, but we still need an RV so we took the one CampingWorld offered us, which was similar, but not as good.

Well I took delivery of it the other day, and brought it out on it's first voyage. Within 500 miles, I lost the brakes completely and the power steering on the highway at 70mph. I was able to pull into the shoulder and let the 14000lb vehicle stop itself, and then I was able to very carefully get to a truck stop to park safely. I popped the hood, and the power steering fluid compression hose was completely disconnected. Can't get it seated properly.

Well, I've been in this truck stop for 24 hours, on the line with camping world and good Sam trying to get a tow or a mobile tech or some kind of help. They've sent no one and bounced me around ad infinitum.

I've no idea what I'm going to do. I've got no water in my tanks, I'm 500 miles from home, and I'm in a vehicle with no steering or brakes.

One would think Camping World would do what they could to make it right, especially considering they have a service center not 20 miles from here, but the best I could get from them was "call ford".

Camping World is a horrible establishment, fraught with shady practices, unhappy customers, and questionable business ethic. They certainly aren't standing behind the lemon they sold me.

Buyer Beware. Don't think good Sam is going to help you, because in my case - they just aren't and there's nothing I can do about it.

BEWARE
Both of us are disabled Purchased online CampingWorld sent pictures of everything but what they did not want me to see, was told it was a very nice camper, and that everything was going to be checked out and in good working condition, paid full blown retail price for this camper I thought it would be in top condition when delivered, not the case when delivered the pig tail rubbed the pavement and rubbed into, ref. Roof vent busted to pieces from dry rot, roof vent in bathroom busted to pieces from dry rot, spare tire flat dry rotted, tail light didn't work, electric brakes all 4 wheels had to be rewired they did not work either, refrigerator circuit board was fried, ref. Gas burner rusted out, gas regulator and hoses had to be replaced gas valve on water heater had to be replaced, gas valve on furnace had to be replaced was leaking gas, roof leaked and rotted floor and back wall out like this when it came to me still leaks, tag holder was broken, tongue jack didn't work had a sheared pin in it, battery cover missing, bumper plugs missing, radio does not work, shower head leaked, outside shower hose leaks, smoke alarm In kitchen missing, 12 volt water pump don't work, fuse to gas detector was missing because of all the gas leaks fumes building inside camper, no keys to doors or storage compartments, they did not even have the title to it. Exaust fan in bath room is noisy, some inside lights don't work, some ext. Running lights don't work, propane tanks hold down bracket wing nut was missing, roof needs to be resealed, or replaced exterior needs to be re caulked at seems, window seals need replaced. Come to find out the camper was consignment they did not own it after they told me they just got it in and haven't had time to clean it up. ( Quote top reputable sales person) sold it to me. And they said it was checked out and ready to go. If that's not taking advantage of disabled people not being able to travel to see it then I don't know what is, the least they could have done was offer to bring a comparable replacement camper. Forgot to mention the holding tanks level indicators don't register right either some show 3/4 full when empty some shows 1/2 when full, roof still leaks when it rains. So everyone I talk to that want to buy a rv I will tell them my story with camping world and post on the internet on any feed back sites I can find about my experience at camping world. Pics sent never showed roof or any fixtures, rotted wall and floor, if it was checked out none of the above mentioned would have needed done, not even road worthy when it arrived, So you asked I told you.

Damage from Reckless Lot Driver and botched slider adjust.
Decided to write and let you know my recent experience with CW in Grand Rapids MI. Brought my 5th wheel in for a slider adjust in late April.

Decided to order an awning rafter in the store and have it installed at the same time. CW said 2-3 days for that to arrive, would be about 5 days before I could pick up my camper. After hearing nothing I call back after 10 days, service dept says CampingWorld are done with their end of it (slider adjust) and haven't heard a thing from the store about the rafter support. I call back to talk to the store, no one answers the phone when transferred.

I keep calling in as instructed by the receptionist, she says someone will answer eventually. On about the 6th or 7th call I ask for a manager (getting irritated now) She puts me on hold, then says she'll take my info and have them call me back. They Never do. The next day I call early, after some searching on CW's part they realize my part came in without hardware over a week prior and now will have to have the hardware shipped overnight from the factory because I'm about to call the whole thing off and pick up my camper for a pre season trip.

I pick it after 13 days... ridiculous that no one did anything when item came in without hardware until I called. So I'm happy to have it done with 2-3 days to get it ready to use it. That is until I get it home and see the damage inside. Apparently the tractor lot driver has no respect for someone else's property and whips these units around so recklessly that my cupboards opened, some dishes fell out and broke, gouging my countertop as it smashed on it.

Fishing poles flew off the top from behind a 2" lip above the cabinets, chairs and table slid across the camper out of their rubber pads (a 1st). Everything in the 4 side cupboards slid forward a foot even with the no slip liners in them. This would NEVER happen with normal driving, never has in all the miles I driven at speeds up to 75 mph. Now that I'm home I've decided it was time to share this and write a few reviews. I've replaced one small casserole dish at a cost of $30, the counter top was pristine and now isn't thanks to the recklessness of your lot driver.

My chairs will have to be glued down to the rubber pads again. And I'm not so sure my slider adjust was done correctly since I'm now seeing marks appear on the flooring inside. The exact spot where I pointed out the back slider had to be adjusted to NOT drag on the floor.

Not happy that CW would allow a lot driver to joy ride while towing someone else expensive property around. Total disrespect for the customer's property!

UPDATE
Brought the camper back to Camping World in Grand Rapids on June 7 so they could redo the slider adjust. The service manager Doug worked on it until it was working much better. Doesn't appear to be dragging on the floor inside anymore. They also gave me 2 thin strips of plastic to set under the edge where it was dragging when moving the slider in, this will buffer the floor enough to keep it from damaging the floor again. Was pleasantly surprised they were able to get most of the marks off the floor with mineral spirits (I had tried other cleaners without success). I was also reimbursed for the dishes that broke. Time spent there was 2 hours with about 50 minute drive each way. They did what they could to fix the issues so I'm bumping this review up to a 3 star for their efforts.

BUYER BEWARE! THESE REVIEWS ARE REAL! SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY!
ABSOLUTELY CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR! THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER TRIED TO DO BUSINESS WITH!
CampingWorld DO NOT STAND BY ANYTHING THEY SAY OR SELL!
BUYER BEWARE!
THEY WILL BE SWEET AND ATTENTIVE UNTIL YOU BUY, THEN FORGET IT!
FROM THE OKC LOCATION ALL THE WAY TO THE SO CALLED CEO MARCUS LEMONIS!
SHADY
CROOKED
POOR BUSINESS ETHICS

I do not ever do these, I could not stay silent while people continue to spend their hard earned money with a company that has no intention of taking care of you, should any issue arise with your RV purchase. My husband and I purchased a NEW 2020 Coleman the end of June, we drug it to St Louis, MO where my husband found work. (Trailer is to live in)
July 5th the air-conditioner quit cooling. It has been a back and forth between Camping World in OKC, GoodSam, and the AC company. It is 9/10/20 and we still do not have air in a BRAND NEW TRAILER THAT WE ARE HAVING TO LIVE IN! No one cares, no one has any sense of doing what is right. I have never seen a company this large with such horrible business practices. The BBB is full of complaints... Karma is coming for this company. I wouldn't send anyone to this place!
STILL WAITING FOR MICHAEL WHITE THE OKC MANAGER TO CALL WITH SOLUTION!
STILL WAITING FOR MARCUS LEMONIS TO CALL WITH SOLUTION!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE CONPANY! I HAVE NEVER WITNESSED SUCH UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR!
When you are financing your RV, make sure you read all the fine print. Their sales process can be very confusing making it difficult to understand what you are actually paying for. FOR ONE! THE PRICE WAS RIGHT UNTIL CampingWorld TACKED ON ALL KINDS OF CHARGES. I was charged over 1500 for getting the RV ready. When I picked it up they hadn't even emptied the sewage tank. Then they trick you into buying the other addendums. Extended warranty roadside, travel assist, etc. They tell you that you can cancel at any time, but the process is painful. I've been to my dealer twice to get these removed. I have no idea if I will get my money back but I owe it on my finance contract. In the process of removing the charges for some of these additions and they have been stonewalling me, and won't refund the full amount. I won't be doing business with them ever again.

UPDATE: IT's been well over a month now (they said 7-10 business days, and the credit has not been issued to my bank loan. SO ESSENTIALLY, I'm paying for services I can't use. They keep giving me the runaround. Guy says he will call me back, and hasn't called back once. If I finally get him on the phone. He says he'll take care of it and then NOTHING! He never calls back. I've called everyday since about April 30 and it is already June.

Camping World in Madison, WI customer service is horrible
First, we called camping world to see if CampingWorld had Moryde Steps in stock. We were put on hold for over 10 minutes and nobody pick up. So we hung up and call back serval times just to get someone to answer. Then when we got the product it was missing the mounting screws to install it and adjustable feet to level the steps. Went back to the store to get a mounting kit and legs. Jen helped me for the second time and after an hour of wasting my time, she was not willing to just give me the mounting screw or adjustable feet from another box. She was coming up with every excuse possible as to why she couldn't help me. This is not the first time that workers have not been helpful. The customer service basically suck and instead of helping the customers and find ways to fix the problem the worker find all kinds of excuse as to why it won't work or can't be fix. There answer to everything is we can order you a new one in a few weeks. The works don't know their products or how to help customers with problems. Again customer service and knowledge is terrible.
