Easy to find the desired light fixtures and the navigation...
Easy to find the desired light fixtures and the navigation through the order and payment process was clear and informative. There is not enough information on the product descriptions. It would be nice to know if the post fixture fits a 3 inch post. And the attachments required for the wall mount fixture would be nice to know as well. And while the bulb size is indicated it is not known if an LED, compact flourescent or other type of bulb can also work... Just the size and wattage.

There is no product information on your website. I would like to know the wattage, does it use light bulbs, is it dimmable, what is the maximum wattage if using bulbs, and what is your return policy, and how are returns made. I did call the number on your website and got the message that all sales people were in a meeting, and to use code meeting 20 for a discount. Your code does not work. If I like the lights and your service I will purchase additional lighting.

Easy navigation through lamp categories and clear check-out process. However, please provide option to have NO MUSIC or talking when customer calls your company, as the wait times are long and it's hard to distinguish between the random talking amidst the music to know when a real agent has picked up the call, and impossible to concentrate on anything else the entire time I was on hold (related to a different order). I was on hold at least 30 minutes and had to be attentive to the music and talking the entire time so as not to miss the agent. I therefore could do nothing else during the long wait and it was stressful. Thank you!

Don't be fooled by the name, charged in US $
No where does it say that the price is in US $. I realized it the next day on my credit card bill. There was no order confirmation email sent. CanadaLighting have no email address for contacting just a phone number (not 1-800) and an answering machine that no one returns your call on. I couldn't cancel my order. Buyer beware! Very unethical.

The website experience was fine, but the checkout tells me I'm being charged in USD even though it says it's a Canadian site. This is extremely frustrating as I will have to pay extra for the exchange rate AND on my credit card for spending in USD so I'm paying extra twice. I appreciate the discount but it actually isn't a discount after all with these added charges.

Search results worked well
Search results worked well. Additional discount helps - found another similar product on Wayfair but with the discount your price was better for the pretty much same product so you got a sale. However, my old account was not found. Not sure if you purge accounts if they've been inactive for a while. Best to put a note near the sign-in area if that is the case instead of me hitting "forgot password" and waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting for an e-mail to come through - only to not come through. Had to create a new account and I have no idea if that was even necessary.

Okay you say our payment will be in USD at checkout, but this marketing technique is getting old. You should be transparent and show your prices while shopping with the sign USD after the price. This is especially important when your website has the word Canada in it. Plus at the current exchange rate, you are charging me an extra 15 CAD. In the end, not so good of a deal, but I can't find the product in Canada

Was furious that you call yourself a Canadian site yet one does not find out that your prices are in us dollars. After spending hours going through sites and hours going through all variations of your lights twice to ensure these were the lights I wanted. To find out at checkout is rediculus. There are plenty of options to let the customers know BEFORE one shops your site, During etc. Other sites do, there is no reason your site can't as well.

Horrible customer service!
I ordered a console table (over $1000 CAD) through this company. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach out to them concerning the status of my order which hadn't shipped yet after one week, I decided to cancel my order. After one whole week, I still haven't heard from them, no confirmation, no refund, NOTHING! CanadaLighting don't answer emails, they don't reach out to their customers. Never again!

I had to go to live chat because on your website the product details would not open. The person on live chat was helpful.
I am somewhat disappointed that I am paying in US $ since I looked at many many lighting companies for a Canadian Co thinking I would be paying in Canadian $. I am pleased with the sale price. Hope CanadaLighting work out well so that I don't have to make returns. We are not sure about the pewter but will have to see if it goes with the brick on our house.

1. Your telephone wait times are 30 minutes on average.
2. Your touch tone menu is confusing.
3. Afte waiting 30 minutes to reach someone, the first woman I spoke with dropped my call after 60 seconds.
4. Your chat line is difficult to find.
5. In your greeting you refer to leaving a callback number, but provide no facility to do so.
6 Your site is billed as Canada Lighting Direct, but at the final checkout point you identify pricing in $USA... misleading as your politicians.
All in all, a very bad experience, and if there was a way to give "0" stars I would have done so.

Great site, but it wasn't until I was placing order...
Great site, but it wasn't until I was placing order did I realize it was in US funds... I didn't expect this at all, and had to factor in the exchange rate to determine if I would proceed with purchase. Perhaps you should make that much bigger on the site pages, so we know before we get that far into the order. Otherwise, a good experience

You advertise that you cover all taxes, dutie & brokerage...
You advertise that you cover all taxes, dutie & brokerage fees, yet here is my bill with all these charges on it. PLUS its being converted from American to Canadian dollars! PLUS: I you site wouldn't let my "WELCOME" discount. Your company name of CANADIAN LIGHTING is VERY misleading

It's a little deceiving to see a site called "CANADA...
It's a little deceiving to see a site called "CANADA..." and then see "you will be billed in US dollars when checking out after inputting credit card info. If you would be more up front with that, people could input a US$ credit card when checking out rather than having to change their payment method from Canadian to US dollars. If you are catering to Canadians, the proper thing would be to list the Canadian dollar equivalent.

Your selection was fantastic!
Your selection was fantastic! I was disappointed that the Roxton - Twelve Light Chandelier that I put in my cart originally when I went to check out was not the price listed when I placed it there. It was originally listed as $232 and then upon checkout was $1299. When I went back to find it, the site said it was unavailable. My plan is to have matching fixtures for my entryway.

The only issue is that this appears to be a Canadian company and it isn't. You see as you are going to check out a very small not that you will be charged in US $ because this is a US company. You should be more transparent right up front... even though you have a red maple leaf all over the site, and you appear to be Canadian when your not.

5 stars for shopping experience on your site... Especially like cart processing on your web site. Clear, easy review, as I always try to buy on Canadian web sites but rarely do CanadaLighting have the sophisticated that USA web sites have. Or box stores... yours do! Good job.

For a Company with the name Canada Lighting it is a...
For a Company with the name Canada Lighting it is a bit disappointing to have the web site show prices in dollars only to be told at checkout CanadaLighting are not dollars but are US dollars. Dollars are the legal currency in Canada and are of course our own dollars. You say you are Canada's #1 shop for lighting. Like all other shops in Canada, surely you are legally obliged to be referring to Canadian dollars when saying dollars, and that all prices in US dollars should state that. If I went to a grocery store and at the checkout I was told all the prices are in US dollars, I and all the other customers would probably walk out without the groceries.

This company is a SCAM
Do not order from them, CanadaLighting have a professional site but they are probably a third party drop shipper and if there is any problem with your order, they will keep your money and continue to give you the run around. I have tried over 30 days on a daily basis to return the item, which I did with UPS, but they had given an address that the vendor had since moved. So I had to pay again to get it back to me, while they told me they would search for the correct address. This is beyond frustrating and I have no choice now to contact my credit card company to charge back these scammers. Terrible. They are also not a Canadian company. You hear rosters and kids crying in the background when their customer service line picks up. They transfer you around to various departments that just go to voicemail!

Great pricing until one gets to the checkout
Great pricing until one gets to the checkout. It is very misleading to call yourselves CanadaLightingExperts then don't divulge that in actuality you are an American company until the checkout. A little more transparency would be more appropriate. Beside the prices you should have USD. That is why there was a delay in the completion of the transaction because it annoyed me.
