Great experience, great tuition and pretty well organised, however the wait between my two cars was over an hour, which was a real downer, that could have been managed better.
However the set up,the organisation, the instructors, the personnel on the day were great, and the cars I drove ( Aston Martin and maclaren 650 ) were fantastic to drive.
Like I say the only thing stopping me giving it 5 stars was the waiting time between drives, that should have been better.
The kids really enjoyed the junior driving experience, we booked both of our kids in but unfortunately the video in the car didn’t work for one of them so he was left a bit disappointed.
The staff were very friendly the instructors were also two faults everytime they talked it could add
£s to your day £15 pound here £10 pond there just checking in we were hit with extras to the tune of £70 if I took them up which I didn't other people also complained the other problem on the first car I only did two laps when I paid for three apart from that a good but expensive day out
Don’t lie to customers especially those with special needs children
Great day, waiting times kept short, lovely area to sit and spectate and great little cafe on premises.
I bought the car chase heroes for my grandchildren. They all loved it and my grandson so much wanted to do it again. The staff make it such a easy process and a great experience. Only fault I have is the viewing area is closed off for the juniors.
EXCEPTIONAL!!
Everything about Car Chase Heroes is first-class. The whole team are fab. Instructors are PHENOMENAL!! I have been on several days with Car Chase Heroes and I cannot fault a single thing.
Plenty of cars available to choose from and you are guaranteed EXPERT tuition.
I will be coming again and again.
PERFECT!!!!!
My grandsons, 10 and 13, had an amazing experience. There was a lot of waiting around but they were happy watching the cars go off. There are also lots of “extras” you end up paying for when you get there, but they had such a good time, their first driving experience ( in a Porsche!) so well worth it. Our one criticism is that although most of the “instructors” in the cars were brilliant with the boys, they both didn’t rate the instructor in the 911 Spyder - probably ok with an adult driving but did not make it so pleasurable experience for a child. If this is promoted for children to drive, it’s important you have someone who understands ( and likes) children. The other staff were all brilliant.
Absolutely horrible experience, rude arrogant staff, money grabbing, run down cars!!!
Don’t waste your money on this rubbish company!!
Hugely disappointing experience. Nothing about this was premium. The booking process and communication was terrible, the voucher I received as a birthday gift had fairly standard cars so I invested in some upgrades. A hand written sign on arrival took me to an enormous queue of equally gullible souls. After 45 mins queuing to register, being fleeced of another £25 for insurance and another £10 to be shown the ‘circuit’ we were told the ‘Ferrari you have booked is out of power’. So I had a choice of bang average cars left to choose instead. I was then directed to the ‘pit area’, a field full of people shivering in the wind and rain in the middle of the airfield. After an hour of hearing names shouted randomly I asked if i was actually on their system. The chap looked and said I was and told me to go back and wait. After 2 hours of bitter cold, I eventually stuck my arm up in time when one of the 3 cars I was due to drive was announced. The drive was not on a track, it was around some cones on a runway and took approximately 3 minutes. I then repeated the wait for an hour and drive for 3 minutes experience before giving up on the third car I’d booked because I could no longer feel my hands, needed to find somewhere to go to the toilet and was frankly so disappointed by the driving experience it really wasn’t worth another hour in a field. I never did get the £10 drive around the circuit to learn it. And so, I paid 000s of £ to stand in a field for 4 hours and drive around some cones for 6 minutes. I’m 50
years old and wasted some money in my life. Nothing compares to this though. Shocking from start to finish. Oh, and I forgot to mention the final insult, the offer of photos and video of this miserable experience for a whole load more ££
The cars were amazing... just shame about the organisation and after the event. Booking in took a long time, waited 1.5 hrs after my slot time in cold weather albeit sunny... then needed the toilet but was told by one of the women organisers i couldnt leave my seat.. even though the 1st vantage was still on junior track so i had to plead with another male organiser to use the portaloo across the carpark... otherwise I'd have not enjoyed the driving at all!!
Great laps in 3x aston martins, i got really good scores and good instruction but poor customer service / media package. No media came out on the day so i had to see manager who then proceeded to go thru 100s of missing files (all other drivers whose media failed) and finally found my photos then with tech help found videos.. BUT when watching at home 2 out of 3 videos no sound (apparently an error from the instructor) so had to return sd card for video refund (at my own expense no refund on postage)
Apparently they changed their media that day so loads of peoples photos and videos didnt come out but if you didnt ask to speak to manager then he wouldnt have found them all on the 100s of missing media sd cards.. so alot of people went home disappointed i guess.
A really bad let down after a good days driving and an expensive days driving, spent over £200 on 6 laps x 3 cars.. then u had to add insurance then 2 sighting laps, then super lap (definitely not worth it as was in a bmw .. not a supercar.. ariel atom available but again at another extra cost)
Overall i would not use this company again for although the cars were brilliant and i drove them very well, what i will remember is all the hassle and poor organisation and being let down with my media package.
Very well organised, staff all friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I think they forgot about me at first as I had to ask why I’m still sitting hear when people are coming and going! Eventually they found a driver for my car. My first car was an Aston Martin Vanquish unfortunately the Speedo did not work ! But still enjoyed the drive. My second car was a Mustang Speed sounded great unfortunately there wasn’t a third gear ! I enjoyed the experience but was disappointed with the cars considering it took me 2 years to get to drive the cars !
