Not an honorable company
We purchased a TV console for $1000. Upon delivery, I pointed out the there was a problems with the rolling barn doors on the front. The delivery man notated it on the form and tried to mess with it. He claimed it was because it was cold outside and that when the unit warmed up, it would be fine. I verbally struggled with him trying to make him take it back with him but he talked me into calling the company and that would make good in it. So of course when it warmed up in my house, the issue did not stop. I called the very next morning. Coleman Furniture stated that I'd have to fill out a warranty claim. I explained that I just yesterday had this delivered. My husband discovered that the problem was that the grooves for the barn door to slide back and forth were not carved out large enough to allow the door to move. If you tried to push the door it would scrap the finish off over time. They tried to say they would send out new doors, but the doors were not the issue. After taking pictures and a video, the company said they would reimburse me $100!. But the catch was, I needed to have a repair man either come out to my house or haul the 72 inch console to an establishment to fix it, pay for it, and then send Coleman a receipt showing I had paid for it. I was not able to find anyone willing to drive to my rural home to fix it for $100. I was laughed at. The cost to rent a small truck would eat up more than half of the allotment. I called the company back and explained what I had been told. I explained that my husband could fix it, but I thought we should get some kind of compensation if my husband has to fix a brand new piece of furniture that we had to wait over six weeks to get. The were unwilling to do anything more. I will never buy anything from this company again. I have told as many people that i know to do the same. It is so disappointing when a company has proof there's a problem with their product, but are unwilling to go to the lengths to resolve an obvious issue. Never again Coleman.

Worst experience ever
Coleman review

Coleman furniture has been the worst buying experience of my life and that is saying a lot after Art Van ripped us off for $1000 worth of product never received due to their abrupt closure. I purchased an entire bedroom set in July 2020. This is now 7 months later with no bedroom set. I have continually received "updates" that my furniture is delayed and will be an additional 2-6 weekend depending on the email. I was never informed that my order was back ordered, just that there were manufacturer delays. I assumed these were mild delays at first due to covid, which is understandable. I have contacted Coleman furniture many times and all Coleman Furniture can say is that it's the manufacturer delay and they have no control over this, yet they refuse to give me any contact information for the manufacturer. After months of these delays, our card was officially charged in January, which I confirmed with a Coleman employee meant that our product was ready for shipment (this information is also on their FAQ page). I was assured by this employee that our furniture was scheduled to ship 2/2/21. When I did not get a shipping notification, I then contacted the company again on 2/3/21 and was told they had reached out to the manufacturer and our order was "ready and currently loading for shipment and was expected to ship out early the next week". I then contacted the company 2/9/21 (early the next week) to get a specific date that our order would be shipping and was told that they had reached out to the manufacturer again and "per them, the bed, nightstand and chest will be available 2/11, while the dresser would be available 2/14 and that all items would be shipped together on 2/14". I was then updated on 2/12/21 that "We have reached out to the manufacturer and as per the latest update your order is expected to ship early March. Unfortunately, as of the moment the manufacturer is unable to ship due to parts unavailability." Which is infuriating because I had already been told that my order was ready and being loaded for shipment so that was a flat out lie because now they are saying that they are still waiting on parts. Which they should not be at all since they already charged me card, which is only supposed to happen when the order is ready for shipment! This is per their own website information! So I'm left with continuing misinformation and no accountability, just hoping that I can finally get my order that I have paid for.

I placed an order for a sofa set from this company on April 14; 2019.
It arrived on May 10; 2019. Love seat was so incorrectly manufactured that I right front leg was about 2 inches above ground and I could slide my hand clearly under it.
I immediately notified Lori,? At Colman and she tried to convince me to accept the Sofa and wait for them to repair the love seat. She kept on reading me the right act about terms and conditions and kept on sending me emails as shown below below:

"... Per our conversation, per the terms and conditions that you agreed to at the time of order submission, Coleman Furniture has the right to address any issue should any issue occur. I REJECTED the entire set and did not sign for it. Placed a claim against Colman with with my credit card company. Best thing that happened.
I wrote several emails explaining to Colman and Lori? That incorrect manufacturing is not considered DAMAGE as outlined in the contract that I signed and I was not going to accept a repaired product. Rather a new replacement product.
I then checked the BBB site and found out there have been over 350 claims over the past 3 years against Colman Furniture ( some very similar to my case) to the point that BBB had issued an advisory. If I had looked sooner; I would have likely not purchased from this company.
Finally after initiating approximately 15 phone calls and exchanging around 15 emails; Colman notified me that a new Love seat has been ordered and will be delivered to me. NewLove seat and previous sofa arrived at my house on 5/23/19. Thirteen days after original delivery and a lot of persuasions on my part.

I like the furniture and it is functioning well. But two things were really disappointing.
1- customer service is less than adequate. I had to keep initiating the phone calls to resolve the issue and obtain status and put up with the client rep throwing irrelevant terms and conditions at me. 2- Original love seat should have been rejected at the manufacturer or at the warehouse where the shipping boxes were removed and product was placed in the truck for local delivery. Colman should not have put me in a position to reject this product. I would have respected the company a whole lot if Coleman Furniture had called to say they are rejecting manufacturer product because it is not meeting their standards and I have to wait 3 more weeks.

Worst Online Furniture Ever, 0 Stars
I am beyond disbelief at how horrible this company is. I did my research and decided to put my trust into this company based on their reviews and long history. Biggest mistake of my life. I bought a table set for a client of mine, assuring them this website will take care of us and is reputable. Table arrived a month late. All the 6 chairs were uneven and wobbly. Both arm chairs were completely destroyed. The table was chipped, scratched, damaged, uneven, and arrived with missing parts. When I reached out to customer service Coleman Furniture gave me two options, have the missing pieces delivered and keep the table as is or return for over $900, a third of the price of the table. Not only that, we also purchased a living room set and kitchen table that both came damaged. You are unable to sit on the kitchen table because the middle pole was constructed all wrong. The living room set and tears, rips, and two of the legs were scratched and you could see the base paint color. I have been going back and forth with customer service representatives to try and work something out but they are so rude and treat you like a child. We told them we will keep the kitchen table and living room set and fix then ourselves if they would just take back the dining table because there is NO WAY to fix all the damages it came with and they still won't help us out. They will not budge and have now told us about an additional fee we must pay as well. I wish I never came across this website. I wish I never ordered from them. Please don't make the mistake I made. Order from a trustworthy site who will treat you better, please! If I could leave a negative star rating I would.

LOVE the dresser I bought from Coleman's. LOVE their prices
The dresser I bought from Coleman's is gorgeous. It is an Ashley's piece (I actually bought the exact same piece in a different color about 4 years ago) I almost bought the dresser at Ashley's in July when Coleman Furniture were having a sale. I'm glad I decided to wait and search the web for a better price because Coleman's was about $700 cheaper, plus no shipping charges like Ashley's. I really wanted to buy from Ashley's because I have bought several pieces of furniture from them before and I have their credit card with 0% interest, but they said that they could not match Coleman's price. Even using Affirm to finance it with Coleman's, which has a higher interest rate than Ashley's, the total cost will be much less buying from Coleman's.

I was hesitant to buy from Coleman's because there are some pretty bad reviews about them on 1 or 2 review sites. There are also some really great reviews though, so I wasn't sure which reviews to believe. But, I am glad that I went ahead and bought from Colemena's because I had no problems at all. I ordered the Ledelle dresser on 9/20 and it was delivered on 10/12. The shipping company emailed me when it reached their warehouse and said it would be 1 to 2 weeks for delivery. However, I got a call and email from them the next day saying they wanted to deliver to me the following day. Perhaps it was quicker shipping for me because there are Ashley's warehouses in Houston. I'm not sure. But, overall I don't think the wait time, from order to delivery, was too long. The shipping company brought it right into the living room where I wanted it and took all the packaging off of it so I could check it before they left. Overall, I love it and would definitely buy from Coleman Furniture again. I may even buy the matching nightstands that go with the dresser I bought since I like the style so much.

Buyer BEWARE
Do NOT order from this company. Please. If I can stop just one person from going through what I went through with this ridiculous company, it will be well worth it. I ordered my entertainment center in June of 2020 and it it now March of 2021 and I still do not have it. It was supposed to be delivered last week and has been rescheduled four times now.
When the delivery driver called the third time to reschedule, I asked for his managers information and he told me "I don't have a manager, I'm my own driver" okay.
Well Coleman Furniture showed up the next day to deliver our furniture and told my husband they only had 15 minutes to put it together. My husband asked them to remove their shoes in our home because we have white carpets and they didn't have the shoe covers that the company promised us they would have. This was so inconvenient to them that they asked my husband to help them move boxes so "they wouldn't have to keep removing their shoes" ARE YOU KIDDING? THIS IS THEIR JOB!
Well, they began removing the pieces from the boxes and proceeded to tell us that it was going to take 3-4 hours and they didn't know how to do it because there was so many pieces and that they didn't have the time to do it. So they began repackaging it and proceeded to leave trash in my house and blowing all around my yard and my husband had to request that they pick up or they were just going to leave it.
They said they were going to return the furniture to the manufacturer and it would be delivered the following week. Well it's the following week and the company is still trying to figure out what happened with the delivery, the drivers and my furniture. I was also told I would have to pay a cancellation fee if I wanted to cancel at this point. This must be how they make all their money. I have no idea how much longer it's going to take to get my order and I am disgusted and appalled with this company. They have thus far blamed everything on the "delivery company" and it seems as the delivery company is blaming everything on the furniture company. No one wants to take responsibility for the negligence that occurred surrounding my order and everyone keeps placing blame on others.
If you took the time to read this review, please do not order from this company. Spend a little bit more with a REPUTABLE company!

Do not do business with them
I had the same experience as Kristin S. When I ordered on line and then called them within 2 business days to cancel (although their office was closed due to a snow storm according to their phone message). I was also informed a 25% restocking fee even though the furniture is coming from a delivery company out of North Carolina who delivers to NY every 2-3 weeks. After waiting 5 weeks to receive my table I found a large crack in the base after being in my home for exactly 34 days. Coleman furniture asked me to complete a warranty sheet and send pictures which I did that day. After 2 weeks I received an email response which was partially completed. I called to inquire that I did not understand and was told I would receive a call back. Later that day I received another email stating the information was wrong and I would hear back. The following day I received an email stating that the manufacturer believes this can be repaired and is giving me $100 to do that. It is up to me to find a technician to come to my home to fix this piece. Then Coleman Furniture will reimburse me once I provide a receipt. I have concerns about that too after this experience. What technician is going to drive out to fix a foreign piece of furniture for $100? The piece that cracked is the base leg and it is my feeling that this is a structural item. Since Coleman Furniture makes a big deal about their costs include assembly and had I ordered on line from another company it was up to me to assembl, I thought they would try to work with the manufacturer to get this one part replaced. I called customer service again today at Coleman Furniture by now a little irate because I have yet to speak to an actual person in customer service. It is now 6:45 pm and I am stewing because the person I was "routed to because Customer service was busy" said she would pass my message to Edwina. I would like a replacement part for this leg but the manufacturer feels it can be repaired and will not supply a replAcement part. Since Coleman Furniture sold me this piece (and yes I know they do not make it but rather Coaster Home Furniture does) I feel they should make good on this request. As I said I have had this table for 34 day. Clearly neither Coleman Furniture nor Coaster furniture care and make no effort to make things right or care that someone will never do business with them Again. I am passing my experience along. From the other reviews it seems that as long as there is not an issue aside from a long wait all is OK. Heaven Forbid something goes wrong.

Slapped by a Wet Fish by Someone in White Gloves
This is my horror story - true, absurd, and still unresolved 106+ days after the order, as of January 9th.

It all started when I ordered a bedroom set and a bookcase on 9/25. Then I decided to order a living room set, but I found the same set cheaper at Orlando Furniture. Now although Coleman's says Coleman Furniture have a price guarantee, they refused to honor the price match saying it would cut too close to their profit margin so they were going to pass on the sale to me. I already had credit approved for Coleman, so despite the bitter taste of feeling cheated, I went ahead with the order which was only about $100 more than Orlando Furniture. Plus, the sales person claimed "white glove treatment." Mind you also, my purchase was over $1,000. So if their profit margin is that thin, the company should be worried.

It is now 11/16, I still do not have all my furniture - missing a dresser and I have a bed with no hardware, and the company could seem to care less. Call and ask to speak to a manager like "Cierra" and you'll get the apathetic cold shoulder with vague promises the company will look into it.

So why have I not received all my furniture?

1. Shipping company may get an incorrect phone number for you, or thus was the claim. Yet the shipping company clearly called me with someone else's delivery named "Melissa."
2. Shipping company may get the wrong email address for you. Why? I don't know. I got the bill, how could they muck this up?
3. My wife went into labor, I had to reschedule one time. This one was on me.
4. One delivery was incomplete. Got a bedroom set that was missing a dresser that no one can seem to find and a bed missing hardware. So it is back to sleeping on the futon while they try to find the parts to my bed. In fact, they sent me an email asking for a picture of the problem... demonstrating a complete lack of empathy. I took a picture of the empty space where my dresser would be standing and a picture of my unassembled bed.

Unfortunately, no updates from Coleman on when I will get my remaining items. The "white glove" treatment is more like someone in some latex gloves slapping you with a wet fish over and over again. Because yeah, all of the above may not even be the craziest part of this never ending debacle.

One 11/13 when the delivery company was delivering my living room set, the called me at about 7:20pm and asked if they could make the delivery at 9:30pm. It was a bit late, but I said sure. It wasn't until, and I kids you not, 11:51pm after I had fallen asleep they called and said they were running late and they wanted to make the delivery around 1am. I told them no. They said okay and the delivery would be at 8am tomorrow. Call after call from me to them with no answer the next day for the 8am delivery. Finally around 11am I went to work, then they called, apologized saying they over slept and was at my house...

Oh, and good luck returning something you don't like. That bookcase I bought crumbled before the first book even hit it. They wouldn't take it back. Bought a piece of Sauder half the price from Amazon, still standing today full of books.

Never, ever, buy from this company. I wish I was making this story up. Crazy. Unbelievable. You'd think after so many issues rhe company would offer some sort of rebate, money back, something. All I get is nothing and no updates on the still remaining missing pieces! The furniture is great besides the bookcase, the service is the worst I ever had in my entire life!

Edit: As of December 4th, still no update on the dresser. Had another false delivery for which the company again apologized (the shipping company came to my house, when I called and asked why they said it was a mistake and they didn't have anything to deliver...). Coleman said they would give me a $50 refund on my order which is about 3% of the total order... while I still wait for the pieces of my bed to arrive, I had to go get a temporary boxspring to put the mattress on. The nightmare order continues without end.

Edit: It is now January 9th, I recently received the missing dresser, but it was badly damaged. The company did offer some financial compensation for this. However, the delivery company came to set up the bed, and they did not have the instructions! So they left, wasting more of my time. A second attempt was made to set up the bed. This time they had the instructions, but the company discovered there are more missing pieces. So 3+ months, still no bed to sleep in. The nightmare just won't end with this company. I cannot stress enough how bad of an experience this is and overall.

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT THEIR TOP PRIORITY
I WILL START BY SAYING PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS BECAUSE COLEMAN FURNITURE IS NOT WHAT Coleman Furniture CLAIM TO BE ON THEIR WEBSITE!

Coleman Furniture appears to have good furniture and I am sure that it is but when they say customer satisfaction is their top priority, that is a complete LIE. I ordered a full over full bunk bed with trundle for my children in November and I have yet to receive this furniture. The company in which was supposed to deliver the furniture was extremely incompetent and appeared not to know what they were doing. They lied and said they attempted to deliver my furniture and that was not true because I was at home all day waiting for them to come. Then after talking with Cierra, Customer Service person, this was not customer friendly as she talked aggressively with me but to my surprise we agreed to get the furniture redelivered at no cost to me. Well the 2nd attempt to deliver the furniture was still a totally disaster. The driver came to my home with the furniture but did not have tools to assemble the furniture then they did not have all of the pieces for the trundle bed and a part of the furniture was damage. Again after talking with Cierra and then her supervisor, Lori, came to no surprise that CUSTOMER
SERVICES SUCKS! For a company to say that total customer service satisfaction is their top priority, again total LIE. They wanted me to again allow them a 3rd time to make my order correct and I refused. They then want to charge me for shipping and restocking fee. Again wrong on all levels because this was not my fault that your delivery company is incompetent and the furniture that was shipping to me was damaged and missing parts. Yes I think I could have allowed them another chance but as I mentioned to them, how many times should I give them to fix a problem when I was only given one chance to pay my money. I will never do business with Coleman Furniture and I will shout to the world, to my friends and family, social media and everywhere to let them know the same. GARBAGE on all levels, CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS on all levels as well.

DISHONEST - STAY AWAY!
If all or part of your order is not in stock Coleman Furniture will still send a cute email with a truck driving to a warehouse saying your order has shipped to a local delivery company and will be inspected. Notice they always mention that it will be inspected. You are billed promptly. Next they will tell you that you will be contacted by a local delivery company within a few weeks. Next a company with phone number across the country (CA) calls to schedule a delivery. At this point I sold my furniture. On delivery day they will call to tell you your furniture failed inspection. In my case they tell me it needs a part. The service rep told me that my sofa ships in parts and apologized that I am not familiar with the furniture shipping business. I bought a high end sofa and was appalled to think it shipped in parts so I called the manufacturer who assures me neither of the pieces ordered ship in parts. Now Coleman tells me that it may have been damaged during shipment or have a defect and they need to order a part to repair. I told them I do not want a damaged or repaired furniture and to cancel my order. They tell me I must pay 15% restocking fee and shipping of 189 for a total of almost 700.00. They will not explain why the shipping company or manufacturer will not pay if damaged or defective. I firmly believe that my order has not shipped based on reading other reviews, especially hundreds of complaints at BBB.org. I too filed a complaint and will look into a lawsuit whether or not I ever receive the furniture. I had to buy a sofa from a local furniture store to have a place to sit while I am strung along by this dishonest company. The reps will not back down, they are trained like nothing I have ever experienced. I don't think I have ever done a 1 star review, but I am reviewing on every site I can find. This company has caused me a great deal of stress and anxiety and their business practices should not be allowed. They need to be exposed for these practices. I hope I can assist in exposing them. If one person reads this review and I save them from the terrible treatment and dishonesty I have experienced then that is good. BTW, they insist my furniture is here local, but won't explain the issue, show shipping receipt or order, or tell me what the issue is with my furniture. Only that they are working on ordering the part and that I am a top priority. They know that as long as they continue to respond it is difficult for me to take action against them.

Horrible customer service very rude
From the beginning I was thinking I had a great deal. When I got my furniture the delivery guys were amazing. Upon inspection I noticed the electronics on the powered sofa were not working properly so it was written on the invoice. I looked for major defects such as tears and scratches during delivery, I didn't go thru with a microscope cause delivery guy told me I had five days to go through furniture and report it. On the third day I noticed some minor imperfections such as a part of the leather couch that looked like it had older leather than the rest of the couch and one crack on chest of bedroom set and a few areas of discoloration and few scratches. So I contacted Customer service to report issue and Coleman Furniture said leather looked normal and wanted to
Give me a $100 credit to find my own repair person to fix all these issues. They stated I should have had this written during delivery. Well let's see we are human and when we get something new we get excited and may overlook a few things. So I went to Ashley and showed them the pics and they said the leather wasn't normal and should be replaced or repaired. Thinking that Coleman furniture would stand by their products I guess I was wrong. Most horrible customer service ever. They are leaving me in the dark to fend for myself. I truly believe they sell refurbished or Defective furniture. Cause if it were new like they claim it to be I wouldn't have old looking leather on my couch and the electronics on my power leather sofa would be working properly. When I have bought furniture from rooms to
Go they would stand by their products and keep the customer happy. Unfortunately Coleman furniture doesn't not. I spent $5000 and I'm being treated like I bought from the 99 cent store. I will never buy at Coleman furniture ever again. I would rather spend a little more to get treated like a human being not like a dog. Funny I just read several reviews that people had the same issues as me. Stand by your product send your own technicians to repair issues just like rooms to go, Ashley and many other REAL FURNITURE stores would. Next I'm rating on BBB. I called several times and no one seems to want to help the right way.

2 months of waiting, Damaged Product, Rude customer service.
I would never recommend Coleman Furniture to anyone. My experience with them has been horrible. On January 15th I purchased a vanity with a stool set from Coleman Furniture, at the time of my purchase it stated that my vanity estimated delivery would be the first week of February, and I would be receiving tracking information as soon as it had shipped out. Two weeks went by and I did not get any tracking information and my product was supposed to be arriving soon so I called them to clarify when my delivery date was and Coleman Furniture had not shipped it out yet, because they didn't have the vanity stool and would have to order it from the manufacturer and then when they received the stool they would ship out my order, but it wouldn't be shipped out until June. I was a little annoyed with this and I did not want to wait 6 months for a stool, and why didn't they call me and inform me of this right away? Instead of calling me and telling me what was going on they just decided that they would ship my product in 6 months and I would just be okay with that?

Again I was informed that my vanity (without the stool) would be shipped out in 1 week and that it would take 1-2 weeks for it to arrive at the delivery company. This was on February 9th, I finally got tracking and shipping information emailed to me on February 20th stating that it had finally been shipped out. It didn't arrive at the delivery company until March 14th and then it didn't get delivered until the following week...

After over 2 months of waiting my vanity finally arrived, Damaged. One of the corners on the counter top were broken, there were scratches everywhere, hooks on the back of the mirror for jewelry were missing, the screws for assembly were missing, and there were no lights which were stated in the details of the product, which when I called they told me it didn't come with and that the details were regarding a different product in that bedroom set not the one I purchased. (then if its for a different piece of furniture in the set why is it in the details of the vanity?) They told me there was nothing I could do about this and that it was my fault for not understanding.

At this point I do not want this broken vanity, I tried to return it since its broken and I don't want to have to wait another 3 months for a replacement, I inform them that I want to return it and they tell me that I will have to pay a 15% restocking fee and shipping costs in order to return it. Are you kidding me? The vanity was $851... It should not have taken this long nor should it have been damaged, I am not willing to pay shipping or 15% restocking fee, I inform them of this and then tell them to send me a replacement then, the whole product because the only this that isn't damaged or missing parts is the glass... They tell me they are unwilling to do this and that my only option is to have a technician of their choice come and repair the vanity, (I don't know how they are going to be able to repair all of the damages since the corner is literally broken off) and that they are shipping out all the missing parts. Sending me the missing parts, and having a technician come repair it are going to cost the same as the 15% restocking fee and the shipping costs so I don't see why they wouldn't just do it that way but no they want to make it as difficult as possible. They have terrible customer service, and are unwilling to compromise with me. I will not be ordering from them in the future, and I would never let any of my friends or family order from them. They were just rude, and unwilling to work with me to resolve the issues.

Totally Unacceptable Customer Service
Let me begin with saying that I am a disabled veteran. When I purchase any large item, I look for companies who offer delivery and setup services because with my physical condition I am not able to do heavy lifting or bending. I chose Coleman Furniture because Coleman Furniture offered me "White Glove Service", which included delivery, setup and trash removal. The week of my delivery, I contacted the company through their chat service and they confirmed the full service. When the truck arrived on Friday evening, the delivery company informed me that they were just delivering two pallets with the furniture on it (4x6 and 4x8). No unpacking, setup or trash removal offered. When I asked the driver, he laughed and said that the furniture company lied to me. They left the two pallets on my driveway. Living in Washington State, of course my new furniture (almost $3k) was outside getting wet under the rain. Since I cannot lift anything I had to wait hours for help to arrive. The help had to come on Saturday to setup and Sunday with a trailer to take the pallets and trash. When I contacted the company's customer service they told me that they never offered me full service, in other words, they insinuated that I was lying. I contacted the company again through the chat to get a copy of the chat conversation in which the setup was confirmed. The person on the chat confirmed that the white glove service was offered to me but within the last few days the company changed the delivery options for my item to only delivery. The person from the chat apologized, but no contact from management. I never bother people for anything, so it was embarrassing to have people doing all this for me. I have to deal with my disabilities from serving my country for 30 years, but for the same reason I try to avoid instances in which I feel hopeless. If that was not enough, having a customer service representative insinuating that I am a liar was even worst. Not only Coleman Furniture lost my future business, but I hope they lose the business of every veteran and service member of this country.

Delayed for 6 months/ Arrived Dirty/ Terrible Customer Service
Our experience was so unfortunate! We ordered in May and was immediately delayed from COVID but when things picked backed up still delayed, then delayed for broken pieces, given run around, and then months later, promised multiple dates from multiple customer reps, arrives with grease handprints and tears! Delivery guys were even shocked. After being on customer service requesting a manager and the delivery guys waiting in my driveway for over an hour( because we couldn't accept order because we would be responsible if Coleman Furniture left) I was rudely handled and told that it wasn't their problem and "We shouldn't point fingers!" She actually said "Are you going to stop talking so I can? Customer service is supposed to be that, where you actually make it right for the customer or at least accept responsibility. I requested them to return my order and not charge me restocking and shipping and they said I would still be responsible and have to pay percentage despite being pushed off for this long, run around about broken pieces ( being charged 2 months ago with no product) and arriving with handprints. After, refusing to accept the order or asking them to at min return half of the cost of dirty chairs so I could get them cleaned ( because who knows how long it would take to get them back or if they would come back fixed) I was finally transferred to a manager after 4 calls being dropped and told every manager was busy for over 30 min, a manager finally agreed and sent an email verifying the amount requested. It should not have had to go this way or take this long for them to fix the issue. Delivery can be blamed on COVID, but customer service cannot. I was very excited about this couch and trusted the company and what the reps said. Be aware when purchasing, if you have any issues it could get unnecessarily difficult to resolve.

CHEAP FURNITURE AND AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE
I purchased an Ashley brand sectional from them. Everything was fine with delivery, but after 7 months of having the sectional it did not hold up. The sofa looked lumpy, the cushions covers were moving out of place. The padding on the arm of the sofa shifted and you hit your arm on the hard frame now if not careful. I reached out to their aftercare department and it took multiple phone calls to get to the right department needed. After letting them know the condition of the sectional, Coleman Furniture told me to send in pictures and serial numbers on all of the pieces so a decision could be made on what needed to be done. After waiting a few weeks, I reached out to them again, and they told me that they would have to send the photos on to the manufacturer b/c the warranty I bought wouldn't cover the "wear and tear" on the furniture. (mind you, the furniture is only 7 months old and there are only 3 of us living in the home). So after waiting another week, they finally said that the manufacturer would only agree to paying $100 to have me find someone to redo the sofa cushions and there would be nothing more they could/would do. I was (still am) furious. So I said that was absolutely unacceptable and they told me that they would request the manufacturer send me replacement parts so I could have them redone by a furniture professional. After waiting for 2 months for them to send me all the replacement pieces 1 by 1, I reached out to a local furniture repair shop and it's costing me over $1K to have the sofa cushions and arm redone... why? Well because the "replacements" they sent are of the same POOR & CHEAP quality, and I would be right back to square 1 in another 6 months. Coleman has turned the other cheek, and refuses to help any further. They have brushed this off as a manufacturing issue, but do not hold themselves accountable for selling the cheap furniture in the first place. I DO NOT recommend purchasing furniture from them. Save yourself the trouble and buy local!

Horrible customer service
I ordered a couch from Coleman Furniture, and was told that when it was ready, we would receive a call in order to discuss a delivery date. I received a call yesterday and was told that it was ready and it could be delivered the next day (today) or else we would have to wait until the next month because Coleman Furniture only send trucks up to our town ONCE A MONTH. We were not aware of this. So we were given one day notice, or else we would need to wait until July. Still, we made it work and my boyfriend took the morning off work in order to be there when the delivery drivers arrived. We were told they would show up between 9 am and 12 pm. My boyfriend was up and waiting at 8:30 am for them to arrive, just to be safe. I was at work and i received a voicemail at 9:03 am saying that the drivers were outside and nobody was answering. Strange since my boyfriend was home? They said that we had 10 minutes to come out, until the delivery drivers left for their next delivery. So if I received the call at 9:03 am wouldn't the drivers be there until 9:13? I have video footage from my neighbors house of the truck leaving at 9:08. Also, at 9:09 am my boyfriend received an email saying that he had 5 minutes to call the drivers before they left. Keep in mind the drivers left at 9:08 so the email was sent AFTER they were already gone. He still proceeded to call the number and was put on hold for 5 minutes. Called again and the women who answered said that she tried to call the drivers but they wouldn't answer. Very professional. So we called the company and we were told that the drivers would be back out next month, but we would be charged an additional 15-20% for the failed delivery. They also claimed to have pictures with time stamps of everything, which i requested to have emailed to me but have still not received. We then asked if we could just have a refund, and were told we would still have to pay the 15-20% for the failed delivery. Like I said, we have video proof of the drivers not waiting as long as the company is claiming. I do not recommend this company, and save your money and purchase furniture from someone who actually cares about their customers.

Don't buy from Coleman Furniture
We purchased furniture from Coleman after finding that the pieces we were looking for were not carried by our local furniture stores.
We placed our order online at the beginning of April. Customer service in the beginning was fine. I received an initial call from someone at Coleman acknowledging my order and the person informed me that I would receive frequent updates from them regarding my order. After that initial call, I did not hear anything else, unless I called them!
I called Coleman Furniture sometime in late April and was told that I should expect my furniture by mid-May. Mid-May, no furniture, no updates. I called and Coleman Furniture told me my furniture was on back order until end of June. After expressing my frustration with the long wait, ultimately, I decided to not cancel my order and just wait a few more weeks. Finally, my order was scheduled for delivery 6/16, but, that's not the end of the story.
When my furniture (power-recliners) was delivered, they did not have the electrical base needed to operate my recliners! The driver and I called Coleman Furniture to let them know and I was told that they would send me the power unit right away and email me with confirmation of the shipment.
I received a call from someone at Coleman that same day and they left me a message needing to "verify shipping address". I called the rep back several times last week and left messages to return my call, but, no response. Why would you need to verify my shipping address when you should have all of my information?! Didn't you just send me some furniture?!
So, now I'm still waiting on my power unit... It's been almost 3 months now since I placed my order online. WORST online shopping experience I've had in a while and I'm surprised this company hasn't gone out of business yet.
They have some bogus customer satisfaction rating on their website indicating a 4.9/5 customer satisfaction rating! WHAT A JOKE! If you read most of the other Coleman Furniture reviews on Yelp and other sites, you'll see what I mean.

Good Experience, Gone Bad
Good Experience turned Bad! We bought a sectional couch from Coleman Furniture on June 19th, and at first everything went great. We found a couch we liked at a good price. The couch came July 5th, but the couch was severely damaged. We immediately notified the delivery people while Coleman Furniture were still there. They made some calls and took some photos, and left saying we should hear from Coleman shortly. We did not, so we had to call Coleman ourselves. It took multiple phone calls over multiple days to get a resolution in place. However they insisted that they could not order a replacement piece until the damaged piece was picked up. This resulted in us having a broken couch sitting in our house for almost THREE WEEKS. So finally on July 25th the broken couch was picked up. However we still do not have the replacement sofa, leaving us with half of a sectional and still waiting for delivery. We have made multiple calls since then asking when we would receive our replacement piece with no definitive answer. Not only have we had to deal with having a broken/damaged couch sit in our house for 3 weeks, and now a half sectional for 2 more, but we have had to take off work 2, and now 3 times to allow for the multiple deliveries and pickup of our furniture. As I am writing this, I am still without our couch, and still without any idea of when my furniture will come. I understand that things happen, however Coleman has not done anything to try to resolve the issue or offer us any discount for our troubles. Calling did not work, so I am hoping their social media representatives are more responsive.

Most awful customer service I have ever come into contact with.
I received a couch (the Stonenesse Sectional) 4 days ago from this company. The movers were very polite but did take much longer than explained to assemble this very simple couch. At the end of this service, which I had to stay up most of the day to receive, I had to work 12 hour shifts every night until this morning which is when I had time to see it and admire the new couch. It was then that I noticed a 4 inch rip in one corner and multiple small stains across the couch as well as the seat backs wiggling loose and bending backwards despite the fact that this is not a recliner (I should clarify, I do not have children and the only other human interaction it has had is my husband, who sat in it once). This is not my issue, I get that problems occur, especially with couches that are mass produced and cheaply made like this one is (which I was aware of when purchasing a $800 couch). My problem is with two things; how the movers failed to document these VERY obvious damages that could not be missed by two people who took almost 2 hours to assemble this click-into-place couch (unless Coleman Furniture were caused by said people) when I was clearly struggling to even stay awake long enough to show them out the door (I feel taken advantage of, which I'm sure you all know how crappy that feels) as well as how I was treated when approaching the company about a return on this defective couch. I was handled poorly and without compassion or respect by the manager, Lori or Gloria (She was not able to clearly state her name after dealing with a very distraught customer and refused to give her full name after being asked repeatedly) and was told that there was no option to return, that I would have to keep the defective couch or pay for a warranty to get a new one but that there would be no returns either way. After being asked to send me to someone higher up to talk to, I was refused saying that there was no one else to speak with about it and that my option was clear. After being dealt with so rudely, I wanted nothing to do with this company so any thoughts of exchanging it went right out the window. I will not be shopping with this company again due to their lack of morality of staff, accountability towards their damaged products, and their abominable customer service. So far, I'm out $1000 dollars after delivery fees and taxes on a broken couch sold through an irresponsible company. This couch is available from other dealers with more integrity (like overstock) for a small amount more than from here and believe me, it's worth it.

Worst company I have ever dealt with. Never got an items and they wont give me my money back.
I placed an order with this company on Apr 4th because coleman was advertising an item I had been watching as a sale item ending in 2 days.(which Coleman Furniture change every couple of days even if they don't have the item available) After months of waiting and being given the run around I finally cancelled my order. This company gave me every excuse under the sun as to why my order was delayed. They also continued to advertise the item as being on sale changing the price every couple of days even adding a stock inventory count. I called them out on this and they quickly removed it. Further they have been in constant violation of their MAT pricing. Finally I found the item in stock else where. When it came time to cancel the order the company was very difficult to deal with. They did not cancel my order, tried to deliver it to me 2 weeks after they gave me a partial refund and had confirmed my cancellation and then to top it all off they charged me a re stock fee. Coleman does not stock items they are a drop shipper. Further I confirmed with the manufacturer Howard Miller that no order had ever been placed to begin with. Which is why they refused to give me tracking info when requested. After months of disputing the charge and dealing with countless coleman reps they finally admitted to wronging me and tried to entice me with a discount if I removed my reviews online. I don't know how they could possibly think I would ever do business with them again after my initial experience. With what they offered me I would have to spend another $2334. 00 in order to break even. New buyers please be aware and stay away. Northside clocks sells howard miller and they will actually give you a discount if you tell them you originally looked at coleman. This awesome company has even offered to pay part of the restock fee. Something Coleman does not want to budge on.
