Colonial Van Lines got the job done and helped move my household from VA to MA with efficiency and skill.

Customer service was attentive and explained everything including pricing up front. I received confirmation emails and tips for packing and moving starting a week or two out. The team that arrived to pack was the same team that delivered at the end and Colonial Van Lines were fantastic! Everything went so much better than any move I've done, and as part of an military family, I have moved a LOt over the past 14 years.

The service was wonderful... Colonial Van Lines kept right on top of things... kept calling to make sure everything was going as expected.

Everyone was very polite and helpful, from getting a quote and setting up the pickup and delivery. The team on the ground in California was amazing, taking the time to allow me to sort out what was going to Florida and what was staying behind, as well as moving boxes and furniture in and out of the storage facility. The team in Florida was just as great, setting up my bed and putting boxes and bins in the patio area. Thank you all!

This company is so good I would use them again and would have no problem with telling others to use them also! From the very beginning of the process, the staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable about their business every step of the way through the final delivery. Their cost to move us was reasonable for the industry.

When we got to Beaufort SC Colonial Van Lines only sent 2 guys to unload. They did a good job as some stuff went into the apartment and some into a storage bin

I was missing some small stuff... never showed up

Several tables were destroyed not damaged destroyed. Chairs were badly damaged, Award frames were broken.

I called and spoke with Kelly Furlong and she GUARANTEED me a truck and driver the last weekend of August 2020 before the closing on my home, I gave two and a half months notice and 40% down. I was alone and stressed already after a traumatic divorce and Colonial Van Lines were a NO SHOW? I had to scramble and figure something out, rent a uhaul hire the Loading Zone which ended up being a real life nightmare and then hiring another company to move me across the country which was also a nightmare. Colonial Van Lines took NO accountability, they OWE me for hotel, storage rental and damages I incurred due to having to hire thugs thanks to them. I had buyers, a broker, realtors, my ex breathing down my neck like this was my fault! A woman named Donna from Colonial Van Lines WAS corresponding with me until I dropped a number $ and flat out stopped replying to me until I recently posted a BBB complaint on them. What is wrong with these companies?

Lamps damaged, paintings torn, no additional insurance so the items discussed were not paid for. The most damaged item was my bose player which was totally dismissed in the conversations that I had with your contacts. Because of the virus and my husband being ill, I was unable to follow the packers around to make certain that unnecessary items were not packed, like news papers, boxes of trash etc. Everything was packed in one day but I was not afforded the time to go over both floors with the man that was supervising the packing. Even he admitted that i probably would not need so many of the items packed. Would not use you again nor would I suggest to anyone else that Colonial Van Lines use you. It will be a year in May since the move. Polite movers.

Moved across the country and needed covered transport for one of my vehicles and Colonial Van Lines came thru when I needed it most. Colonial Van Lines picked my car up within a few days and had it shipped across the country in under a week. My car was well taken care of and I was so happy with them that I also shipped my truck (uncovered this time) and once again they took excellent care of it and my truck arrived early!

No B. S. they do what they say and not try and hit you up with hidden fees everything is upfront. I will use them again if I ever relocate:-)

I highly recommend Colonial for long distance cross county moves. Customer service was exceptional. Best customer service experience. Reps were very helpful and very easy to contact. My main contact was Tracy, she said she was a Rep, but her knowledge and follow-up, makes me think she is one of the owners of the company. Again, I highly recommend Colonial. My major concern was moving a large safe, it arrived in perfect condition. I was very happy. My move was from NJ to AZ.

The owner, Aldo DiSordo, is very unprofessional, doesn't pay his bills, and is prone to use extremely vulgar language when corresponding with females. I would love to include a copy of the email as proof but it would be against guidelines due to the vulgar language.

Always easy to reach. Colonial Van Lines Called occasionally to make sure everything was on track. No problems at all. Only damage I had was a loose lampshade. Very reasonably priced. Picked up when they said it would be delivered when they said it would be.

I was pleased with the professionalism and communication with the Colonial Van Lines team members. The moving crew did a great job. I recommend them.

Colonial Van lines did an amazing job of moving us. Colonial Van Lines got us packed (with a fantastic crew of guys), they were professional and fast. They also got us another super friendly and professional moving company in Tennessee to transfer our household goods from a large truck to a smaller truck that would be able to drive down our 300 foot driveway. It was a difficult move and any issues that I had were followed up with and ultimately resolved. I would recommend Colonial based on the customer service with follow up.

This was our first time using a moving company and our first move in 43 years. Everybody was great from our initial contact to our direct contact throughout the move to the company that did the actual move. Due to the extensive contact, their encouragement to let them know if we added anything, etc., we were over- item from the estimate, 60 pounds over estimated, but we were under in the amount of packing required, so the cost was less than estimated. Despite a one week delay due to the biggest snowstorm in the northwest and southwest, we were very pleased. Colonial Van Lines could not control the weather. They contacted us several times to update us about the van's progress.

The only bad experience, the truck has a water leakage and my antique dresser was damaged, but I will use the service and recommended again.

I don't even know where to begin. I initially thought the company was good based on the first part of my move, I didn't realize that the reason it went smoothly was because it was a very simple move that didn't require the company providing any documents such as liability insurance and it was a move into storage. The second part of the same move is where it all went to hell. I was moving into a condo in NYC, of course this means more rules and regulations, as well as "paperwork" that I was told by my moving agent, was "standard". Well Colonial Van Lines were completely unable to get it together and follow simple instructions to provide the paperwork to the building management as instructed via email in plain English, my moving manager was just as frustrated as I was with trying to figure out what was so difficult with submitting the documents to the condo. In the end, my move was delayed by two weeks and I almost lost the apartment because of all the back and forth and email traffic between myself, the building management and the moving company. The stress they added to an already EXTREMELY stressful move was beyond words van describe. And if this wasn't enough, when I finally did get moved into the new apartment, I discovered that multiple expensive items had been irreparably damaged, there were grease stains all over my $5000 couch which wasn't appropriatetly covered for the move, and the fabric was also ripped. As if this wasn't bad enough, come to find out, they cracked the screen of my $6000 4 UHD TV. Multiple other smaller items were also destroyed, all one of a kind porcelain and glass items. I was reimburse $37 for all the damages. I am perplexed that this company is still out there and not bankrupt from law suits.

Colonial Van Lines were on time, very professional and took time packing my things. Nothing was scratched or broken when delivered to my new location. The price that they quoted me is what I paid there were no extra add ons.

Highly recommend Van Lines for any move. I will be using them from now on.

Pros: movers were on time and delivery date was within the given parameters. Cons: one of the case managers was extremely rude to me on the phone. I almost couldn't believe it, but he was annoyed with my questions and actually mocked me on the phone. Also, case managers changed every few days - I think I had five CM's before we were through. Con: several of my items (shredder, file cabinet, desk) arrived damaged. I didn't file a claim as Colonial Van Lines didn't reach the level of the high deductible.

Day late. Table dented Not a good experience at all

Over the years have moved multiple times around the country. This was the smoothest move ever. From A-Z. Keeping me informed, pricing, efficient, no damage, accountability, tear down and set up of furniture. All flawless. AAA experience. I Will use them again, next time I move.
