UPDATE - The customer service rep called me back after 15 mins and told me they spoke to my doctor's office and that the doctor is reviewing the request and that is the hold up. It's nice to someone take their job seriously. Thanks CPAP.com. Now I will get on my doctor's back about this.
Nice work.
Support service is quick, accurate, and understanding and I have never had a problem that they could not fix within a week.
Not only that but their products are better value than what insurance will ever quite you, unless you are in a premium insurance plan, but honestly I just find their business to be straight forward and a lot more freeing to people that simply cannot afford premium prices.
Also they have quarterly deals that can be up to 20% off which is not hard to find at all and it applies to the total of the cart. Where most other sites just apply the discount to one item. (Which is much less of a deal)
I am a Registered Respiratory Therapist licensed in the State of Ohio, and have experience working in Home Care for Perinatal, Pediatric and Adult Patients. From fixed CPAP all the way to continuous mechanical ventilation.
I reached out to CPAP.com after a few disappointing experiences with local providers. I probably scrutinize things more because I have actually been a Clinical provider of Masks, CPAP/BI-PAP machines, disposable Supplies and so on. I know what it takes to maintain a Customer and keep them happy, but in this case, I was the Customer.
I reached out to CPAP.com to inquire about a Headgear replacement and reached a lady named Shannon. She was not friendly, but also very knowledgeable. It was absolutely incredible talking to her because she really took her time despite the fact I have an extensive background in Respiratory Care. Clinical people need help sometimes too, and I'm not afraid to admit it.
If it were in my power I would nominate Shannon to a Managerial Position in her Company and allow her to be a Trainer, and/or Re trainer of Employees there at CPAP.com. God Bless her and her Company as well.
Recently, I bought an item & the shipping appeared to be stuck and the contracted shipping company had not given me any notification (it had left their company and was with the shipping company). The staff of cpap.com's customer service spent some time looking into this situation, gave me information and updated me on this process. They were professional and patient trying to resolve this issue. A shout out goes to Camyatta who was the primary staff person who assisted me.
Many American companies don't give the same level of service to international customers, this is not the case for cpap.com. I highly recommend them.
Every time I have called CPAP.COM my experience has been amazing! I look forward to ordering from them in the future! Thank you!
So you seek solutions and thinking that you need to be attached to this machine to live while you sleep is as intrusive as well having to wear a mask wherever you are going to keep others safe.
You feel betrayed by your body because it is playing this cruel game with you when you are vulnerable and unable to much about it.
Navigating how to get help and what to buy is daunting and often it is much easier to walk away from it and play sleeping Russian roulette than it is to face your fears and get treatment.
Today I was a very fortunate human being as I sought to replace the now-defunct CPAP machine I landed in the capable hands of Layne at cpap.com
She is a knowledgable professional as well as a CPAP user. She listened to all of my concerns from use to price and gave me solid recommendations all the while I rambled on mostly out of fear.
No surprise, I'm a big guy. I should not be afraid but I am. Not afraid of the machine but the fact that I need one. How to get the best one for my money and the supplies needed to not go without it any longer than I have to.
I'm a father of two. 49 years old and I want to be around for my family and thanks to Laine's help I feel confident that I took a step in the right direction today. There is enough craziness going on in our world presently it is great to know that there are humans like Layne out there willing to help.
Thank you cpap.com for having her be a part of your staff.
Sincerely,
J. A. E.
I have had HORRIBLE, expensive experiences with home health care accessory places recommended by my doctors. They do not explain things well and did not inform me of what I was being charged for. When I tried to cancel, it was impossible to reach them. I once had a question about cleaning my machine and the home health care rep suggested that I "Google it"!
CPAP.com offers great pricing, selection, and you can return the products if you are unhappy with them. They keep your doctor's info on file so you don't have to do all the legwork yourself.
So if you need to order cpap equipment or accessories, don't look anywhere else. This company rocks! And when something goes wrong in the future, CPAP.com will be there to help you find a solution.
Thanks Jennifer J!
Secondly, their forum (message board) is terrific. The members are really helpful and give great advice, which is essential for a person who is new to the whole cpap thing.
Thirdly, when you order from them, you can get a canister of cpap wipes for one penny. The wipes are really good and do not have any funny odors. They leave your mask smelling really fresh.
I'm grateful that cpap.com exists and I do not hesitate to recommend it to anyone I know who is on cpap therapy.
