Dine a Chook

We had purchased a number of poultry waterer and feeding solutions before finding Dine-a-chook, none of which had proven to be reliable and effective. We're exceptionally impressed with the durability and high quality of the equipment offered by Dine-a-chook, along with the comprehensive range of poultry supplies. Even better that this is an Australian owned and operated business, with terrific customer support and service - we will definitely be purchasing more supplies and equipment from them in the future.

I purchased a feeder, Drinker and some meal worms for my chickens and they are fantastic products..
The feeders save so much waste and mess and my chicken took to using them easily.
They are addicted to the meal worms wait for them every morning. We have received great service and prompt delivery from this company 🚚 and will be ordering again soon.

We are moving to a new property and just setting up for our 18 chooks. The feeders seem to work much better than any of the many and various previous feeders (I've tried nearly every sort). The Dine-a-Chook feeder is efficient to manage, and keeps the vermin and rain out, and my chooks have adapted to the new arrangement within 2 days. I expect to save the cost of the feeders in saved feed by the end of the year, so I'm doubly happy.

However, my last order arrived with a large tear on the side of the cardboard as if someone was trying to see what was inside. Any larger and I may have lost some of my order. It was not tampered with at my home as I was home when it was delivered.

The whole purpose of me trying to get a new feeder was to keep away the pesky pigeons. I tried a couple of different feeders which didn't work. Dine a chook has I can safely say stopped the pigeons from getting the chicken feed. Look the pigeons are still welcome in the run but they cannot eat the chicken food any longer. It makes me happy to know the chicken feed is not being lost anymore. I bought 2 and I have 3 chickens. This is just right I think. It was easy to install.

Second time we’ve used Dine a Chook and all great again.
Arrived in reasonable timeframe, well- packaged. Communication via email is all we need to confirm order, shipped etc. Via Australia Post.
However, once it was in hands of AP, we received no further notifications. Not Dine a Chook’s responsibility but you should know this with regards to customers reporting not receiving their orders. In Taree, we have had a spate of ‘mis-delivered’ orders from various companies.
Finding amprolium in a box would be disappointing for a thief though if it gave them the sh-ts…

I purchased one of each of the feeders and drinkers from your company. I found them a lovely convenient idea. However, I was dubious about the PVC support hooks being strong enough, durable and fit for purpose.
Unfortunately, they were not and broke soon after purchase. I was successful, however, in drilling and attaching a more durable appropriate 'hook'. This has been most successful and has enabled my 'ladies' to continue the use of your hygenic and easy -to use feeder/drinker. Thank you.

Dine a chook has been very easy to use. The cap is easy to remove and refill (no having to place it upside down and fit to the base) which is why I purchased it in the first place! The only gripe I have is that I have had to replace the drinker twice as the pin holders on the side don't stand up very well which is frustrating. Overall though happy with the product.

I bought the feeder and drinker, both of which are of excellent quality. The feeder in particular saves heaps of mess. There's a good variety of other products and both deliveries have been nice and quick.
The health and other support information on the website is really helpful too. As a new chook mum, I am referring to it regularly!

I was able to find what I wanted easily on the Dine a Chook website and place an order. The goods I orders were dispatched promptly and received via Express Post mail quickly. At all stages I was informed of the progress of my order.
The items I ordered were exactly what I wanted. My only disappointment, after having read extensively on Dine a Chook’s information that the company is Australian owned and products are Australian made, was to find that the items I bought were made in Germany!

I recently purchased 2 Chook feeders for a birthday present for a friend, she is rapt and amazed at the clever design features and ease of use. They arrived at my door very quickly. I have 4 Chook feeders of my own and they are quite a few years old now but are still in great condition. Our one duck, one guinea fowl and 9 chooks all eat from them. I have spread the feeders around their coop so that all birds can get a go.

Extremely happy with the purchase! We had a small oops with the delivery which was rectified ASAP by Ryan. The feeders are great and the chickens took only a few hours to learn how to get to the food! No more pigeon feeding here :) The water dispenser is also a good design and a good addition to the chickens :)

Hello Ryan, Thank you for your email. I wrote an email on 20th of April requesting assistance but I have not received a repy.
I have managed to get 1 chicken to eat for the apparatus but when she has had sufficient the bowl of the feeder does not automatically re fill. I wrote about this in my first email and received a short video as a reply. as yet I have been unable to install the drinking fountain

My 6 hens love their new Dine a Chook triple water dispenser and they learnt to use it very quickly - it’s a great device that makes it so easy to keep water up to them: I am delighted!!!
The ordering system and delivery time were excellent and I would recommend their products to anyone needing a failsafe watering system for their hens.

We have only just installed the feeders and so far they have been a big hit with the girls. it was a bit tricky getting them used to it but once they realised the food was in there, they went to town. (it helped by filling up the mouthpiece itself after filling it up from the top of the feeder, so they could really see the food and tuck in). Since we have set up the new feeder and drinker, they haven't been whining at all and seem much happier! I think they are not getting their food stolen by wild birds anymore and so they feel comfortable having food on tap and that it wont run out. Really happy with it so far and we have very happy chooks. thanks so much for fixing our problems!

I bought two of the small feeders and the drinker, AMAZING. I am so happy with them. I previously was using the basic feeders and drinkers from the pet shop and had lots of problems with wild birds/rodents and rain ruining the feed. I bought the feeder covers as we have a rodent problem in our coop and so far they have not been able to get to the food at all same with the wild birds. My Isa Browns needed no convincing and work out how to use the feeders and drinker within 10min of introduction. My silkies aren't the brightest hens in the pen but with a little strategic placement of some mealworms they worked out what was going on. I love dine-a-chook's products, the quality and design are undeniable.

Ordering online is a breeze so I keep buying the little watering cups with float for all my friends when I look after their chickens. I attach them to a 30litre water cube where the bung or tap should be. Parcels from Dine a Chook have always arrived before the due date and undamaged wonderful service and products.

I have owned laying hens for years, but I only discovered Dine-A-Chook recently while surfing the net. I was impressed by the large amount of products on offer and the reasonable prices. I placed an order and everything arrived no-mess no-fuss within days. I will be buying ALL my hen products from Dine-A-Chook from now on.

Great products, easy to install, and the chickens worked out how to use both the feeder and the drinker super quick. The only thing I can think of to make it better would be to have the superior drinking pieces already attached to the drinking station (they come as separate yellow bits that you can choose to sub out). Overall fantastic product that is saving me a lot of effort in chook care!

I have had about 4 dozen pidgins eating my hens food everyday, they had learned to use the Grandpa feeders! Now thank goodnesses they have gone as they are unable to eat from it! My five hens learned very quickly to use the feeder and they are happy eating their grains. Thanks so much
