I have ordered a number of items from Amazon over the past week to be delivered by DPD to my new address in Llandissilio,
the property is a new build on a road with established houses. Not once have DPD actually delivered anything, the only time I received a
parcel was when I intercepted the DPD driver on the main road. I keep getting messages saying "Sorry we missed you" with pictures of a random house,
a road and someones doorstep where the goods were misdelivered. They did'nt "miss" me they just didn't bother to find me! I have provided very comprehensive details on Amazon how to find us including WhatThreeWords
address, I have also provide a picture of my property on the DPD site. This is very unprofessional behaviour on the part of DPD drivers. UPS, DX Freight, Yodel, and Royal Mail
have all managed to find us. I have reported this behaviour to Amazon and will now be using other suppliers where I can guarantee the goods will be delivered by a competent delivery service.

Apparently DPD’s delivery service process comprises of the following:
• 1 single attempt at delivery and then the customer gets sent a message that their order has been deposited in a depot many miles from the customer’s home
• It’s now the customers responsibility to travel, track down and lug the items back to their home address.
• But in my case the delivery driver did not even bother with the courtesy of one delivery attempt – clearly it was far easier for the driver to just not to deliver at all and send the customer a text message falsely stating that delivery had been attempted and that now you, the customer, are forced into travelling to pick up and collect your ‘home delivery’ of rather weighty paint orders. I cannot see how DPD will survive very long with this business model for a delivery service; or the companies who choose to use DPD.
DPD is an absolute failure as a delivery company

N O IM NOT GOING TO WALK OVER 3 MILES IN THE HEAT FIRVA PRODUCT WHICH I PAID NEXT DAY DELIVERY FOR TO BE DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE!!!!!! 😡 GET THE MOST SENIOR MANAGER IN THE DPD TO HAVE MY PARCEL DELIVERED TODAY OR I WILL RAISE A COMPLAINT TO YOUR CEO AND I WILL CONTINUE TO POST SCATHING REVIEWS ON EVERY PLATFORM AVAILABLE TO ME AS YOUR STAFF ARE INCOMPETENT LIARS WHO SAID YES IVE ARRANGED FORNTHEM TO DROP THIS OFF LATER TODAY BUT I KNEWVTHEY WERE LYING AS DPD ARE A PATHETIC CESSPOOL OF A COMPANY WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE STANDARDS 😡
Below is the review I left on trustpilot today after calling up your call centre to ask why a DPD delivery driver cannot follow simple gps directions because every other courier company delivers my items every week with no issue it is only the worst courier company in the world DPD who employ idiots who think a store 3.5 miles away in a national heatwave could be considered local!!!!! 😡 2 of your staff lied to me as I’ve had no return visit from
The courier nor any callbacks from a manager and I will warn everybody I can about how shockingly bad your DPD customer service is both the couriers and the moronic call centre staff!!!!!!! 😡
Never ever ever send or order anything and choose DPD as the courier as they claim to have “tried” to deliver my important items which I paid next day delivery for to have delivered today but they sent a txt claiming there was nobody home so they are liars as nobody has tried to deliver anything today and they are lazy stupid or both!! 😡
They will then inconvenience you by delivering your product the day after you’re supposed to receive it even if you pay for next day delivery etc or if it is an important item and they do not care about their customers whether that be the customer who paid for the goods to be delivered or the company which paid the DPD to deliver them 😡
Worst courier company in the world and never ever ever trust them to deliver anything as they are utterly useless!! -100/10 and steer clear away!! 😡
Have now called them back as I had no faith that they had actually spoken to a driver to get them to pick up my parcel and deliver it today which they said they would try and arrange 😡
Surprise surprise when I checked the tracking it had not been collected as i thought as DPD are utterly useless and incapable and they employ liars in their call centres and moronic drivers who cannot even do their basic stupid job 😡
Called up the contact centre again to ask to speak with a manager as I’d been lied to on a recorded phone call earlier today and the person I spoke to was equally moronic and unhelpful and could not give me a y straight answers and would not allow me to speak to their manager as they are too cowardly to be honest and admit they are useless and had lied toe earlier!! 😡
Never ever ever consider having any contact with DPD as they are utterly useless and steer clear away as they have dreadful customer service and useless moronic drivers who cannot do their jobs and I HATE DPD!!!! 😡
I had a txt to confirm that the driver and the staff are all liars too just before which said my very important product which I paid lots of money for plus extra for next day delivery has been delivered to a “local” shop which is in fact over 3 miles away in the heat and that is the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

They have attempted dozens of deliveries to me and have never been successful. I live in a modern apartment building in central london where every other delivery company which has ever delivered to me has never had a single issue. I have never had to complain about any delivery company other than DPD. Their driver, Syed, lies about the delivery every single time - either he leaves my valuables on the street and or he marks it as rejected and doesn't bother to ring the doorbell or knock on the door. Not once has any DPD customer service rep been able to suggest a solution, file a complaint for me or do anything useful at all. A TERRIBLE company. TERRIBLE customer service. TERRIBLE at delivering parcels.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.
I’ve recently moved into a new build property, so I expect there to be a few issues with having things delivered.
I was expecting a parcel on a Tuesday, I got a text that day to say there was an unexpected issue and it would be delivered the following day (Wednesday). On the Wednesday I then got the same text, so I rang up and asked what’s going on. They said that my address isn’t showing on the system, I repeated my address several times and even gave them very clear instructions as my new home is near a popular estate in my town. They said they’d pass all these details on, put the parcel in their watch list and make sure it was out of delivery the next day (Thursday).
Thursday came, about 3/4pm I decided to call to ask where it is. The woman told me that she’d passed all the details on, but it’s up to the operations team to pick this up and ensure the parcel is out on the van. So the parcel was never put on the van, they didn’t even attempt to try and locate my home once. The woman had no other options for me, and so I had to request a refund whilst she sent the parcels back to the sender.

Absolutely awful delivery service. Only attempted once to deliver my parcel, I wasn’t in so instead of attempting a second time or allowing me to arrange a second time they forced me to go up a pick up news agents with a post office where a little boy working there refused to give me my parcel as I didn’t have my passport or driving license to show him!!! What is the world coming to? Are they out of their mind? I will NEVER show by photo ID to any unofficial bodies let alone a dingy little need agent with the son behind the counter!!! Ridiculous & outrageous. They “claim” it’s for security even though I had my pick up code and other means of ID but the truth is they just want you to get used to showing your “papers” every you go si start small then go big to make it seem normal. Nothing to do with security. I then called them and they hung up the phone . Shameful and illegal as they’re holding MY property therefore stealing. They also refused to re deliver. Never use them is my advice. Company ‘Mandates

Absolute joke of a service!!
I was supposed to receive my parcel Monday, was supposed to have been given a 1 hour time slot so told my Mrs to stay in all day as I was at work, kept refreshing the email and it was still stating Monday. I NEVER RECIEVED IT ON MONDAY.
Tuesday comes around and was supposed to be delivered between 9 and 10, then a notification came on to say the driver was late, then a few hours later it was said it was delivered and to my address and was recieved by myself (when I was at work) so I then had to contact the depot and they then told me that the driver had left it next door. I came home from work, knocked next door and they hadn't recieved my parcel. I then had to phone the depot AGAIN to then be told that it has been scanned back at the depot.
The service this company provides is absolutely shocking!
Why give time slots if they don't even bother trying to stick to them.
Ridiculous!!!

If there was 0 or minus, I would have chosen that, as my score to this company which they do not care about customers. There is nothing as if you need to make complaints or need help apart from a phone number which is chargeable and based in Capetown in South Africa, it is a remote business through drivers and local shops in the UK I believe.
My parcel was booked for collection from my house, once it booked all dimensions and weight was completely stated in booking, however the driver refuse to take it as he said it is big and he does not have space in his van. He promised that he will come back later around 2 PM to pick it up and did not come back.
I rang and spoke to DPD and DPD local which both numbers were same and they told me you have to re-book again. The driver comment was that my parcel was not ready to be picked up which is not true.
I wanted to drop it off to their shop and the shop owner refused to accept it and told me he will be having issue with the driver in the morning as he knew they will refused this item is heavier than 15 KG.
Bear in mind all the details was entered in the booking process.
it is a no man land when it comes to failure and you can not find someone to help you in the situ.

Worst Company in Uk Delivery driver delivered to wrong address occupant caught driver gave directions to my house he didn’t bother to follow them took back to depot,
Phoned depot told would be delivered next day driver did not bother again
took back to depot again
Phoned depot again told driver would return same day didn’t happen
phoned depot again told parcel sent back to sender in USA
Specific instructions of address given on parcel and given over phone we are difficult to find but driver did not follow them (obviously does not read instructions on parcel )
Before returning to sender DPD should have bothered to contact me
As email and telephone number available as all on their app
All other delivery companies manage to find us

Had the immense displeasure of using DPD 3 times for my own packages going outbound and a few coming in, every one of the 3 sent items were mysteriously lost (all were hand made, bespoke items carved from wood and burned on, 15+ hours work per item) and I honestly don't remember them delivering a package on time to me if at all.
Today they were supposed to deliver a package to me (a phone I had repaired) between 12:30 and 1:30pm, I waited in the house with a friend and our dog for almost the full hour when I got a message saying "Sorry, we missed you!".
Nobody in the house heard the door we were sat 6ft from, not even the dog who goes absolutely MENTAL the second someone gets within 3ft of the house, so there's absolutely no way "Andis" knocked on the door.
Phoned them to find out what they are playing at and got told "Oooh, I'm sooo sorry! That's sooo baaaad! We will speak to the driver when they get back and deliver the package on Monday." No way of making the driver get their lazy backside back to do their damn job, just wait until Monday and do without the phone you were supposed to get today but we couldn't be bothered to deliver. I even asked them why they didn't just give me a quick call since they have my number, their response? "Our drivers use their personal phones so some of them don't do that". Well maybe provide them with a work system that allows them to quickly call the customer as they arrive like other companies do then? Not hard to use common sense is it?
DPD are, quite comfortably, the worst delivery company in the UK. I would rather use Hermes and I once saw one of their trucks almost tip trying to do a U-turn on a mini island, a company who's drivers aren't smart enough to realise they can't turn an articulated lorry around a mini island are better deliverymen than DPD, think about that for a minute.
You've either got to be exceptionally bad at your job or willfully providing as poor a service as possible to be that bad.

I have had enough with this company. We live above a row of shops and yes we may be a little tricky to find but every other delivery company seems to find us just fine with no issues. DPD however don't even try to attempt to deliver to our flat. They are lazy and useless and EVERY SINGLE TIME I've had a DPD delivery they have given it to the shops below us. The shops have very kindly taken our parcels in but they are getting as annoyed as I am about the laziness of the staff. I have tendinitis in my wrist so carrying heavy items is a no no, yet I still have to carry it up to my flat in pain! I have complained about this before but nothing has been done. I dread every time I see that DPD are the ones delivering. If I could choose not to have them, I would opt out every time. Useless.

Not an option to put minus stars!!!
2 days ago was waiting at home on delivery all day then got email in the evening saying they had tried to delivery but I was not home!! changed the delivery address to a shop so this time I was thinking they would have to do the delivery, got email early afternoon my parcel had been delivered, I called the shop and they said they had not received any delivery and had been in contact with DPD and they would deliver next day.
I called DPD who assured me it had been delivered, complete LIE!!!!
This morning get an email that they were unable to delivery to my chosen delivery address so they delivered it completely the other end of town to some random shop!!!!
I called the shop owner and he had been told that the original shop where I had requested to deliver had been closed for the last week...MORE LIES!!!
Called DPD again, worst customer service and experience I have ever received from any delivery company.
COMPLETE DISGRACE!!!!!
Needless to say I will never order again from any company that uses DPD as a delivery service!!!

I had the worst experience today...
I had the worst experience today...
I don’t know how you can treat your customers this way..
driver called me that he is outside with my parcel the moment I walked out he was gone.. I tried calling him but nothing.
I arrange to re-delivery 3pm same day. Had to take off day from work so I make sure this time driver won’t run away after 1min of waiting.
I called couple of times to DPD customer service TO MAKE SURE He is still coming since I’m waiting all day and it was already after 3. Lady on the phone said he is on his way.. almost 2 hours of me waiting I called back again and I was informed that driver finished his job and won’t be coming.. thanks for letting me know. So disrespectful I have no words. They have no regards for their customers..
I am so disappointed with the staff and the way I was treated.. my whole day is ruined

Delivery man didn't call me nor knock on the door as I was at home whole day..he just sent me email saying they miss the parcel and will the parcet to the pickup shop and gave me the address which was in Heather park drive Wembley..n that address was 30 mins far n when I went there shopper keeper told me that parcel is not there in their store as no delivery man gave them the parcel...n when I called customer service they just told us that delivery man kept the parcel on some other pickup shop that is in eastlane harrow..but they didn't even update us or the called us saying the pickup address is changed..on top they are saying if you'll don't want to collect then the parcel will go back to the owner n you can call them..
Dpd is the worst courier service..

The delivery driver call Ian from Snetterton is a liar and I can prove it.
He claims to have visited my business premises on Saturday "but missed me",
just to prove he never called, I've checked my CCTV and guess what , he never turned up. What a garbage company. I won't be using them to send our mail orders out and they are a bad reflection on the companies that use them. Today I went in on my day off as I got a txt saying it would be delivered today between 16:57-17:57 so I kept my shop open and stood outside, at 17.53 I get a txt saying " sorry we missed you " again, only problem is they never turned up to miss me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You cannot make this garbage up. If you want to earn a bad business reputation, use this company for your deliveries .

The customer service was absolutely appalling as well as my experience on the app. My driver was supposed to deliver on Wednesday and instead they came to the area but to the wrong address. I understand that the area can be confusing as it is student accommodation but the part that angered me was that they first, came over an hour earlier than they said they were going to at 7:50am when I was asleep and my phone was on do not disturb because I was asleep. The driver called once and it went straight to voicemail as do not disturb is on - most people know if you call twice then the call would go through the second time and it would’ve woke me up but he did not try to do this. As well as this the driver said he left a calling card which I found to be strange as he didn’t even end up finding my address. I requested the photo that the delivery driver sent to the company that I ordered from and it was of a different building so I thought maybe the calling card was left in this building I walked outside to go over to the building and I found the calling card just on the floor nowhere near the building that the picture was of. Due to how the picture was taken and the location of the calling card I believe the driver never left the van I just threw the calling code on the floor. Tried to call customer service multiple times and they’ve been very useless and this has been a stressful experience. Furthermore, only part of my package was delivered and the rest was not with the driver and is apparently going to a pickup shop? horrible

I live in an apartment almost in the center of the Munich. I was waiting in my home and had an eye on the tracking service to see when they will arrive. However, it just froze while they were 4 stops away. My doorbell doesn't work, so after all they just left without leaving the package.
The other day I chose the "Abstell-Okay" to leave the package in front of the door and go. But guess what, they didn't. The tracker froze again and they just left.
I tried the option "Nachbar wählen" and chose my girlfriend's home which is literaly 3 minutes away on foot, and it said that is to far away and it's not possible.
I tried the option "Paketshop wählen" and I'm not able to select anything, while I'm living almost in the center of the Munich.
I'd also like to add that I never had any problem with any other shipment company. All the others just leave the package in my maibox without the slightest problem.
So here is my message to the friends responsible for the mess that is called DPD: If you can't do this job, go do something else in your life!

DPD used to be the best out there, then around a year or so ago they changed the way they deliver, we order from 3 wholesalers and get next day delivery from all off them, if one off the wholesalers sent us 4 boxes, these would turn up obviously at the same time, and if another wholesaler sends us 2 boxes, again we would get these 2 boxes at the same time, now we are getting 3/4/5/6/7 deliveries a day sometimes minutes after each other on different vans or not at all, we are regularly getting part deliveries, and 3 out off the 4 boxes for example, the other box may turn up the same day, if not the next day if we are lucky, its impossible to work like this as when they deliver the first segment off the delivery the tracking states delivered, but we still have not got the completed order, and don't know when its coming or if its lost, what has happened to DPD's system, it used to work, now look at all this terrible feedback you have, take note!

I had 2 parcels due to be picked up, so have been waiting since 8am for the driver to arrive (as the message initially said 8am-7pm pick up and the text letting me know an hour slot only arrived at 10am), so was a little confused by a text telling me that my driver was unable to collect my parcels. On checking the front door there was a card stating the same, but no knock on the door, no ringing of the bell, nothing. How DPD expect someone to know that they are here for the parcels if they don't knock? It got even better when I phoned (as on their card) to rebook. The first time I called I was cutoff halfway through the call. The second time the person on the phone was abrupt, rude and completely unhelpful. Needless to say I won't be using them again as this isn't the first time that I have had problems with DPD. We'll see if they are able to use a doorknocker or doorbell when (if) they arrive for the rebooked pick up.

I’ve never dealt with a more unprofessional company in all my working life. Avoid them at all costs. Their app is useless as the last tracking point shows depot and that’s where tracking info ends. Forget showing you where driver is on gps or how many stops away from location like other delivery company apps. Moreover, my app said same message all day- driver running slightly behind schedule from 11am scheduled delivery. Two days later I still haven’t gotten my parcel. It turns out now my parcel is too big for click and collect shop option that they provide. Yet they still let you confirm and you’ll be told at end of day unable to deliver. Amazon for example, won’t let you confirm option of pick up locker if they deem parcel too big or too valuable. Worst thing about DPD is they outright lie with no compunction.
