Selecting items was easy and there were many options to choose from in regards to quantity of selected item. Appreciate that there is the option of using a Guest Checkout instead of being forced to create an account. Checking out was simple and easy, and I received a confirmation email right away. Will wait to see how product is delivered but good first time experience.

8 bags of Bristow chewy bonbons Rhubarb custard candies that were shipped in the last order # SO7588532 arrived June 7: candies were either totally flattened, or partially crushed, presumably became padded materials on the side of the box for cans when packed and during shipment.
Glad to say quality of loose leaf tea and British food is always good; enjoyed all previous orders, otherwise.

I was able to (sort of) get what I wanted. I was looking for Earl Grey Decaf and Irish Breakfast Decaf in K-cups. I bought tea bags, instead. The gentleman I chatted with, Daniel, was very nice, but couldn't find the information. I made a suggestion, but I think he'd already signed off the chat.
My suggestion was to e-mail your customers a survey asking which teas are their favorites and which form English Tea Store prefer (e.g., loose, tea bag or K-cup).
I love Twinings teas and would like to try more of them (especially the Double Bergamot Earl Grey, but I prefer tea bags or K-cups to loose tea. I don't know if that makes me a Cretin, or just a American, who's used to the quick & easy way to do things).

Entered what I wanted to buy but did not log in first. When I went to log in I had to change my password, and ended up losing all previous order info and had to start all over again. Then I couldn't find the original pages I had ordered from. When entering shipping info I forgot to enter Apt. # and phone # which created more issues and frustration. The "fix" was well below the area I was entering info and I was just about to give up when I did scroll down and found the problem. I wasted a huge amount of time re-entering info, very frustrating experience.

Wow what a pain in the ass to place this order. Your screwed up system didn't like "Lane" it wanted Ln, so I when with all the options so I had to enter my CC 4 or 5 times. It almost wasn't even worth calling to fix the (insert your favorite swear word here… maybe say it twice) your system's problem. IDFK if I can continue to order from you guys your stuff is only pretty good not awesome. Your search options take forever even with explicitly stated "fruit flavored black loose tea" over 2000 items came up, not even half are fruit, 3/4 not loose tea, please fix ALL of that. BTW I wanted to send a tea package for Christmas around the first week or so of December as a gift, that is if I can get past the piss poor performance and time wasting ordering format.
Wow, I m not happy about this. Maybe I'll just save my time and call in orders that way it's your time and money wasted

This is my fifth order and I have yet to have any problems with English Tea Store. My orders have always arrived on or before the estimated date, contained exactly what I asked for, and the teas have always been well packed and smelling fresh. I haven't always *liked* them, but that's what sample sizes are for in the first place. :) I've found enough that I love that I keep coming back. In the process of converting my entire family to tea drinkers.^_^

Experience OK. I tried calling and talking with someone earlier this week, and the wait for 23 mins. Kind of frustrating. My question was about whether I could order a bigger quantity of tea. I'm looking for bigger leaf tea, as well as flavor.
We don't have a tea shop here. For about 5 yrs. I ordered from Teavanna; have been trying different Earl Gray teas since their closing.

Refused COMEBACK10 discount code as "not meeting" requirements so I decreased size of my order. Did not disclose the unmet requirement. Refused my attempt to set a password although it met criteria. Refused to clarify what the error was. Betcha your programmers failed to include - as special character, right. So I went on To place order as a guest. Have ordered multiple times in past & left positive reviews. Now it appears your site is broken, or worse the checkout section is hacked.

Initially bad experience; called customer service and English Tea Store couldn't figure out either how to get free shipping; in addition certain items also exempt from free shipping regardless of total (> $75) initially but not clearly listed on the website. I also wanted to order scone mixes and you were all sold out on the largest on-line shopping day of the year! Very poor planning; decided to order teas as a gift.

Overall it's good. Not sure why I had to pay shipping as even with SAVE20 code my order was over $50 and qualified for free shipping. Had to call for clarification about SAVE20 as chat didn't have answer and was a little surprised that customer service didn't offer to take my order over the phone but at least she knew to tell me to sign into my account. Usually it's a smoother transaction than this.

Hello. I am so excited to find the Kenco coffee! I remember the taste being so smooth and rich. It was 2009 when I honeymooned at the copthorne Tara hotel. I long to return to London, but your products will fill some of the void. I know this may sound a bit obscure, but because I am not familiar with all of your biscuits/teas/ products... might you have any complimentary samples to share? I plan to become a repeat customer, however, I would also like to know the flavour of the product. If you do not have any complimentary sized products to share, I completely understand. I have been delving Deep Into the Web for... a Long Time. I began at "Gevalia"... NO! No other brand, either online or in stores but none had ANY. I ordered and Paid A Lot of $$$ for a "Sugar Free Syrup"... Irish Creme... Not, but it Did Have Sucralose. About 20 minutes ago I came across an old can from... "Bewley's". Now, Finally, I Must Wait but I don't mind. I will taste "Irish Creme Coffee". AGAIN! I am part Irish and have been in Great Need of THIS! Like "Mother's Milk".

I placed an order last Saturday. I realized that one of the teapots was the wrong one. I called and left a message, and I sent an e-mail to customer service that I was buying all 6 cups and one is 2 cups and English Tea Store are the same size. No one called me back or responded to my e-mails. Therefore, you gy=uys shipped the wrong one when I was trying to stop the shipment before it was corrected. That is bad customer service that you do not even acknowledge the receipt of the e-mail.

First time visiting this site (English Tea Store). I was able to easily maneuver through what I was searching for. Found several items that I liked and ordered. Look forward to enjoying the (loose leaf) tea sampler I ordered. I called Customer Service, although the wait was long (8 minutes), it was worth it. Katie quickly answered my question, after a quick change in my order, I was able to place it via online. It's a late birthday gift (for me ;). Dad told us to celebrate the week before, the week of and the week after~

Rejected the correct spelling of my address. Search function was frustrating as I asked for loose green tea and it mixed in all types of tea in my search results. Also when I would finish looking at a particular tea for description and reviews it would send back to page 1 even if I was on page 9. Very frustrating and as it took way too much time make my purchase.

This may have to do with classism or language use but I had to Google postal code on another tab. I prefer being asked for a zip code, even though it is the same thing. You could easily confuse other costumers this way too. Also when checking my spacing with the curser, it asked me if I gave the wrong address, which was most tedious. Other than that it's all well that ends well.

The only thing that's strange is that you identified my address as one that couldn't be validated, then after spelling out address and completing the payment method, you suggested the original abbreviation I had for avenue and when I authorized the site to accept this, I had to put in my payment info all ove again. That is a problem since I began to wonder why I had to put sensitive finacial data in twice. Please correct this.

I had a question about a discount code. Tried the online chat, but the person I chatted with was incredibly slow responding, left me hanging, and then wasn't able to help. Then I tried calling Customer Service. I was on hold for 10 minutes, then was offered a call back. Have yet to receive it. Found help on my own, created an account which was a big trial and error process, then submitted my order. I hope the products are better than the process!

The website drives me crazy. Every time you buy something, it takes you to the cart and then you can't get back to where you came from! If you end up in e.g. the candy section, which has dozens of tea items thrown in, and you finally get several pages in and buy something, you have to start from the beginning again. I would buy many more things if I didn't just get fed up with it.

Website would not let me sign in. It would not let me change my password so I could not check out. So I had to change my email address to get another account and then it would not let me go to my cart so I could check out. I just about quit and go to another website. I have never worked so hard to purchase something ever. After trying and trying I finally got to purchase my tea.
