I recently ordered a pair of shutters to review the quality and look of the item before ordering all that I needed. Thankfully I did this as the quality was poor and the shutters were not what I expected. When I asked to return them, I found out I had to cover the cost of shipping the item back and that cost was going to be $29.75 to return a $44 shutter? When we called, we were told that was our issue not there's. I would not recommend anyone to purchase anything from this company...

Orderd custom size shutters. Staff was very responsive answering questions about sizing and finish options. Shutters took almost 6 months to arrive but were exactly as ordered and very well packed. Installation was easy with included mounting brackets and staiess steel screws. Overall finish on shutters is good however the finish on the V grooves is very rough and should have been corrected before shipping. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.

So darn easy. While painting house we needed to replace a few broken shutters. I’d been watching local stores for years to see availability and price to no avail so online was next considering painting deadline. Fantastic. Exact measurements and style. They arrived perfectly in five days. Amazing. We got unpainted for our unusual color choice. House looks grand.

2 of my shutters required repair before installation as the horizontal sections were not attached properly. Fortunately I was able to repair them myself. I was very pleased with how quickly they arrived.

one short suggestion. The installation pins that came with the shutters didn't work. They were too large in diameter and a bit too long. I just used #12 self-tapping sheet metal screws and they worked out fine.

Great shutter at a better price. Less than the big box retailer, and uv protected to prevent fading. Could not have been easier to install, took more time getting the old ones off, than putting the new ones on. Was able to color match the front door and it completes the look of the house.

After receiving the shutter I saw that I would have to reinforce each side with a 1 x3 x 4 piece of material. This has to be done in order to mount the shutters securely, other wise the plastic would crack or break when it is being attached to the house.

Dear Sirs: I received the shutters which appear to be well made. However, I was expecting the shutters to be all wood, and not with composite raised panels. I tried to assess how this happened, and realized that the mistake was on my part....in part. On your webpage, the shutters are pictured with all wood for wood rails, stiles, and paneling. But the description of the panel is written with panels being composite. So I made the mistake of ordering the panels, and they arrived with composite paneling. One could say that the picture is misleading and that I didn't, as a purchaser, read correctly the written description. Also, perhaps because of the composite paneling, they are very heavy. So, overall, you delivered a quality shutter, but if the all wood panels are lighter, then I didn't get something with which I would be thoroughly satisfied. The shutters are for the second floor of our house, so getting them as heavy as they are, will be difficult. I suggest that you change the picture on the webpage to show the composite section instead of the paneling being pine. Thank you, R. Sohn

I recently ordered 5 sets of vinyl shutters and was pleased with how easy it was to order online. Any questions I had about the ordering process or product were answered promptly thru the website chat feature. The product arrived in a timely manner. Being vinyl made the installation much easier than the solid wood shutters that we were replacing. We love the finished look. Thank!

Easy to order, easy to install. Didn't realize when ordering that each pair of shutters came with its own hardware so I order a set of hardware with each pair.. While I did need some extra hardware because of my own errors, I definitely did not need 7 set. That was my fault though. Would recommend.

Love my new shutters. Just got installed yesterday and they really look wonderful . Great quality and service. I will definitely order from your company when I need to replace any other shutters.

The delivery of the shutters was a disaster. They left the shutters in a pile a quarter mile down a hill from my house. I was never notified that they were delivering them, or that they had left them. We discovered them by accident and then had to haul 256 pounds of shutters up to our house.

I am so glad I chose these window coverings. They were extremely easy to install, several different color options, and well made! The delivery came quickly and everything was well packaged. Thank you!

I am halfway through the installation of my new shutters purchased from Exterior Solutions. So far We could not be more pleased with the product. The new shutters look great and are easy to install with the instructions provided. the only thing that could have been better was if I had gotten a call on the day of delivery so that I could have had the pallet dropped in a better location but this was minor.

I priced options in store and online and Exterior Solutions had the best value for the money. No shipping charges were also an influencing factor. I am very pleased with the quality of the shutters. Would definitely order again.

Loved the free color samples, it was really helpful in making a match and they have a large selection of colors. Only disappointment was some colors cost more, nearly twice as much. And of course the common color I chose was one of them. That said products arrived on time and appear to be sturdy and well made (better than the ones originally on house). Haven’t tried hanging them yet as we are waiting for new siding install. Also kudos to their customer service who waved the restocking fee when I sent back an unpainted one I ordered. Note be careful about returns, shipping back cost almost as much as the shutters!

Very happy with experience. Requested samples which arrived within 2 days. Order product and receive then in a few days after. Great quality, nice selection of colors and a variety of style options.

Exterior Solutions is a great company to do business with. I made an error in my order and noticed it when they sent my confirmation notice. I called them and they corrected it for me immediately. So nice to work with them. My order was very fast in arriving and was exactly what I wanted.

They were very helpful on the phone every time I called. My shutters were delivered within a week to ten days. Every shutter was packed carefully and completely. I would definitely do business with them again. PLEASE READ ALL DIRECTIONS BEFORE YOU START…. My husband did not and had to reinstall the first pair he put up. Lolololo.

Excellent quality vinyl shutter - shutters were a full 15" wide, unlike some of the cheaper shutters in a few of the big box store - shutters are well made with reinforcing where it's needed most - quick turn around and shipping - good job !
