This is my second order with EZ Contacts. I found they had the cheapest prices of all the online sellers I checked, (approximately 5 others). Shipping is a bit slow; the first time, I paid the shipping fee but it still took over a week, so I declined and went for free shipping this time, and the time was about the same.
The contacts are the same ones I would get at my regular optometrist's office.
The only real issue I have is that I cannot seem to figure out how to use my insurance to pay for them, as they are over $400 annually! I have requested information but have yet to receive it. So I may have to look into a different supplier. It's useless to pay for insurance that is impossible to utilize. I have Aetna. Maybe the problem is with them.
Sometimes they are on point, and there are other times like last where I paid for next day shipping and didn’t receive purchase till 6 days later! Immediately when I didn’t receive the sunglasses the day after ordering ( might I add I ordered them on a Thursday at 1) I called their customer service line and got vm which at then end hung up on me. You want to beat ur LY and shoot for what that store is projected dollar is then maybe start making sure the customer receives their product in a timely manner.

I rec'd way too many emails after I placed my order for random offers. I blocked those.
It took my order so long to arrive I was starting to wonder if i ahd purchased from a scammer website. But finally,lo and behold, I rec'd an email that my order was being prepared for shipment and then that it had shipped. Not so good for a 'first time experience' and my overall impression. I am painfully aware that we now live in 'Clown World' , but businesses better start to adapt to it just as they are expecting we consumers to adapt to it. Personally, I view the business world and it's 'decision makers' to blame for having bowed into the unjustified 'fear' campaign due to 'scary virus' that has never even been identified /found under a microscope. (THAT is a statement of FACT!) Thanks to all the businesses that played a role in destroying our economy. It's so 'FUN' to be living thru the destruction of our country.
Very unhappy with the customer service I have received so far. I order a pair of prescription glasses and a pair of sunglasses. The prescription glasses were shipped and the sunglasses were not. I did not receive any sort of notification that the sunglasses did not ship until 48 hours later. I luckily was checking the website and noticed this 1 day after ordering. I sent an email inquiring about why the sunglasses did not ship. It took about 36 hours to receive a response and I was told it was because the sunglasses were not in stock. The website stated that the sunglasses would ship in 2 days. I was then told that the sunglasses would not be in that week but possibly by the end of the next week. After receiving that news I asked if I could have overnight shipping since when I ordered it stated they would ship in 2 days. After another 24 hours I was told that they could not approve that request. Please either correct your website or make it up to your customers. I will not be purchasing anything else from EZContacts.
I received my prescription glasses yesterday, July 18th. As far as the cost of the glasses, I couldn't find a better price anywhere. They are well made and arrived in great condition. However, I was not able to give them a 5-star rating because of the length of time it took to receive them. They were ordered on May 11th. They arrived yesterday, July 18th.
It took over 8 weeks for them to arrive. You heard it right, over two months. I lost count of how many times I called customer service, being put on hold, only to get the same story each time:
"I am happy to report that your frames are currently being customized at our lab. This includes measuring and fitting your lenses into the frame before they are thoroughly inspected and securely packaged for shipment. "You can expect your glasses to be ready to ship within the next few days. As soon as your order ships, we will email you the tracking information so you will know when to expect your delivery."
Those repeated assurances of "the next few days" turned into over 2 months. If you could reach one, the customer service representatives were always polite and did what they could to help, but it seems the problem for EZContacts is in their "lab". Of course, you can never speak to anyone in the "lab" so there is nothing you can do but thank them and wait, and wait, and wait. If it were not for all that, I probably would have given them a 5-star rating.

I was nervous ordering glasses online but due to the limited selection at my eye doctor, it forced me to branch out. EZ Contacts had a great selection to chose from. I do wish you were able to virtually try them on via their website. An even better option would be a system like Warby Parker where you can select frames to be sent to you for trial prior to purchasing! I used other sites to virtually try and my glasses and took a chance because the pricing was decent. The glasses arrived with a much heavier prescription than I am prescribed (my error) and they were kind enough to fix them as a one time courtesy. I appreciated that beyond belief! The one downside is how long it takes to ship and receive the glasses. I ordered two pair of sunglasses from EZ Contact and one pair of my regular prescription glasses from another site. The other site delivered my glasses in 3 days and EZ Contacts was closer to 3 weeks so that is something to consider if you need replacement glasses quickly. Otherwise, I would order again and recommend the site.
My first order a few months ago, I received a scratched lens. Had fo pay return ahipping for something I didnt do. Sent back and recieved my glasses in worse condition than what i sent them off in. Glasses had a ton of what Im guessing was a buffing compound (to buff out scratch from lens) between lens and frame...as well as my originally glossy frames came back with matte finish spots. Got a refund (minus return shipping) and purchased elsewhere online.
Now, months later I decided to try for a 3rd time, ordered a different frame, and now recieved distorted lenses. They dont sit flat on a counter and seem to be twisted in different areas, wouldnt even know where to start to fix them.
Not sure whats going on with this company but its definitely frustrating.
I ordered a pair of LA Chargers Oakleys. They sent me a pair of Rams glasses which is an honest mistake. Now, I've been trying to reach out the EZContacts to resolve the issue and of course there's no one to be found. I emailed and tried calling 3 times. I even set up the call back on the automated call back system, and nothing. At this point I'm just hoping I'm not ass'd out!
Now on top of everything, I'm getting the run around! Nobody answers the phone and they put you on a call back list which takes 5+ hours to get back to you and when I answered they hung up on me! Then I got an email saying they were sorry and when I tried to email back to figure out how to fix the issue, I've been ghosted! I honestly don't know how people with this kind of customer service stay in business!
I was very disappointed with my purchase through EZ Contacts.... I was able to find the item I was looking for on your site.. I purchased the sunglasses to get my prescription added on May 3, 2022. The money was taken from my credit card May 12, 2022.. I called in on June 13th because I was still waiting on my glasses after over a month. I was on hold for 1 hour 3 minutes and he did not help me I was transferred and then disconnected. I left several emails. My glasses did not arrive until June 26 almost 2 months later. You have the WORST Customer Service ever and I will not purchase again. I was so disappointed with the way my first order was handled through you. I feel I should receive partial if not all of my money back to rectify the poor service.

One lense came with a crack in the edge
I paid for expedited delivery and when I called a week later found out that the glasses were another month away from delivery but I could be transferred to customer service. After holding for 90 minutes to speak with someone from customer service, I gave up and ordered another set of glasses elsewhere because I could not wait for another month because I needed to leave for overseas.
Then it turned out that this information was false and the glasses arrived 7 days later but with a crack in the edge of the lense. Because I left for overseas, I have not yet contacted EZ about the crack, but I am already dreading having to spend hours on hold, and I certainly cannot afford the long hold on an overseas phone call. Would not recommend this company.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses online, then was informed that they were not in stock. I then waited 4 weeks for them to be delivered to me with a scratch in the line of view of one of the lenses. Were the $200+ sunglasses not inspected prior to shipping?
Now I am informed that the glasses are not in stock and will have to wait again for the exchange. Annoyed to say the least.
Impossible to speak with support in real time. Either waiting on hold forever or call back is missed because I'm then at work, etc.
Might improve with extended customer service hours on a Friday afternoon and one day on the weekends.
Not sure I would recommend this business based on a poor first experience.
Anything but EZ! We ordered our original sunglasses on June 14. By June 19 we still had no shipping confirmation so I contacted customer service via email. We were told that the glasses we ordered were no longer in stock however we were offered a similar pair with rush shipping. When the glasses arrived, after six days which is not rush shipping, they were NFL sunglasses and not at all what we ordered originally. The original sunglasses were still on the website so why we could not get those the first time I’ll never know. I contacted the customer service rep we had been in touch with and he encouraged me to call the one 800 number on Monday to discuss our situation. When I called the phone number there is a message that states due to hi call volumes my call could not go through. I have called at least 10 times today and get the same message. They encouraged me to “Chat” Online which is not live so our problem still has yet to be solved after 2 1/2 weeks. Save yourself heartache and find a different company.
I hate leaving less than stellar reviews so I wouldn’t have left a review if EZContacts didn’t send a review link. Most importantly, the glasses I ordered are great. They were a gift and my husband is thrilled with them. The issue was with the ordering and shipping process. I ordered the glasses and paid $20.00 more for two day shipping. However, when the item wasn’t shipped after two business days, I contacted the seller. I received a timely response back saying the item was out of stock with EZContacts but also, the manufacturer did not have them available without delay. While I appreciate the quick response, I wish the company would have let me know the item wasn’t in stock prior to my purchase. I was hoping to give these to my husband as a Father’s Day gift from our girls but the item wasn’t received until after the holiday. Lastly, and not a huge deal, when the glasses were finally shipped, it took three business days instead of two.
Ordered a new pair of sunglasses which were "in stock" and paid for 2 day shipping. Order was accepted immediately and I was under the assumption that I would have the sunglasses in 2-3 days giving room for processing etc. 10 days after my order and checking updates it says the glasses are still in the warehouse waiting to be picked up. Called customer service who informed me that the glasses were actually on back order and I would not be receiving them for another 7-10 days. I was then told I would be patched through to another department to reimburse the 2 day shipping fee and as soon as they put me through the call disconnected. If they had been up front about everything I would have understood. Selling things and charging for a service that you cannot deliver on is wrong. Will not be ordering from EZContacts again.
Very unhappy with my purchase, I will not make any future purchases. I was sent the wrong pair of Costa sunglasses, 100% error on behalf of EZContacts. I contacted their customer service and notified them of the error and requested that they send me the correct pair with a pre-paid shipping label so I could get the item I ordered ASAP for an upcoming bass fishing tournament I had on the CA Delta. I was informed that they would not send me the correct pair until they received the wrong pair they sent me. I informed them that they could charge me for both pairs if for some reason they didn't receive the wrong pair back. I was told they would not. With no financial risk on their behalf and to gain a lifetime customer they decided to not send me the correct pair. So I would ultimately have to wait an additional 2 weeks to receive the pair I had ordered. I buy two pairs of Costa's every spring for fishing, it amazed me that they would prefer to throw that away. As a business owner, this was a bad decision in my opinion. I will purchase the correct pair from another vendor and return the wrong pair for a full refund.
I bought classic mirrored aviator sunglasses from EZContacts for a vacation I had coming up. I figured more than three weeks would be enough time to place and receive the order. Their info said they were in Brooklyn and I’m in Massachusetts so that seemed possible. It only takes one day for USPS, UPS, AND FedEx to ship from NY to MA. I deal with this weekly in my line of work. They said to allow 3-5 business days. Fair enough. After a week of checking on my order status it continually said “preparing order.” Every time I checked I got the same notice. How long does it take to put sunglasses (that are in stock) in a box and ship it? Well the answer for me was over three weeks - seventeen business days. So no shades for my vacation. When I did finally get them they were noticeably bent and uneven right out of their case - if I put them on a table they won’t lie flat. One of the arm hinges is also much tighter than the other and they sit crookedly on my face. So for $120 more I had to go to an optometrist to get them adjusted. I was then told that they were concerned that the sunglasses were too “cheaply made and flimsy” to do a proper adjustment. Their authenticity was then questioned. There was concern that one of the lenses would pop out. Raybans are great. Always have been. These shades I have just feel cheap and I’m scared they will fall apart before too long. For comparison I got out my older Raybans and they weigh nearly twice what the new ones do and feel way more sturdy. Even the lenses are visibly thicker than the new ones. You don’t need to get out a micrometer to figure this out. It’s visibly obvious. I wouldn’t be surprised if these EZContacts shades were actually fraudulent Chinese copies. Either that or Rayban has been bought by someone else and production standards and materials have been changed to reduce costs. Anyway the Raybans I got are problematic to say the least (if they even are Raybans). I would never do business with EXContacts again and I’d go as far as to say I will never again purchase expensive sunglasses without being able to physically try them on. I feel pretty nauseous when I think about how much this all cost me. You’re better off at the Sunglasses Hut at the mall or one of those vendors at interstate rest areas.
I ordered 2 boxes of contact lenses. The items are supposed to be delivered to my house in 5-6 business days, but I received a message from USPS that my items were sent back to the sender due to an insufficient address. I called and email to EZContact, USPS, and eDHL to locate my items. These places didn't answer my phone calls immediately. I finally got responses back from USPS and eDHL 2 days after the expected delivery date, but EZContact never responded back yet (it has been 4 days since I left message via email and call to EZContact). I claimed my credit card company for disputing the amount of EZContact charged on my credit card anyway. I would NOT recommend any purchase from EZContact because of the very poor customer service they provided.
The contacts I order are consistently lut of stock. I have ordered multiple times and it usually takes multiple weeks for them just to ship. When this happens, the company never notifies me that my contacts are out of stock, so I have to be the one to go to customer service to ask why they haven’t shipped. If the product I order is out of stock, why would a company this large not have an automated system in place to notify me that there will be a wait? Customer service reps are typically apathetic to my inquiries and I get the sense that once this company has my order, communication and convenience of delivery is not a priority. As soon as I am financially able, I will stop doing business with EZ contacts and would never recommend them. This company needs to make big changes to how they do business.
I haven't received my contacts and yet the account said it is delivered. I've tried 4-5 times using different ways to message on the web. I got no reply. It's very upsetting when I need my contact lens to work and drive. I called twice and I could never get to an agent. I tried to ask them to call back, but once I missed the call, I tried to call back. I had to go through the same process all over again. Not to mention, when I called back the office was already closed at daytime hours!!! It's very upsetting. Your company does intentionally make it super hard for people to contact. Even now, I am still waiting for the call back...super unprofessional customer service system.
On 05-19-22 I placed an order for Ray-Ban RB3428 - 9204B1 Legend Gold/Grey Lens. On 06-02-22 I received the order with the right box, mentioning the correct model number - but inside the model color was wrong. Instead of what I ordered they shipped me the 9241R5 Legend Gold/Blue Lens. Also the ones that came had smudges on them but no big deal, cleaned them off.
Have sent multiple emails with no reply. Calling on their phone line is of no use as they play the message that due to "Unusual call volume they are unable to reply but please send an email". I have emailed them, used their website chat for the past week and no reply. All I want for them to do is ship the right order, and send me the return shipping label so that I can return these. In short EzContacts is not easy to contact at all.
