Thought I made a mistake
I ordered a Garmin GPS for my motorcycle from this company on Tuesday. I was going to place the order on their website but I wanted to confirm what all was in the box before I placed the order. The Garmin I ordered comes with XM radio and I wanted to make sure it was a complete kit as their price was about $100 lower than most of the other sites I visited. Once the CSR confirmed what was in the kit I told him thanks and I would order it off their website. That's when I got the same song and dance as others have gotten about ordering direct from the rep. I declined and said I would rather do it on the website. He kept asking for the order and threw in another $5 off. I thought why not and placed the order with him directly. He said it would ship same day, Tuesday. I then got transferred to someone else for the FREE $25 gift card scam and ending up hanging up on that person. After I hung up in about 15 minutes I got a message from someone in my office from them saying there is a problem with my credit card. I called them back and as the phone is ringing I start to get this uneasy feeling and did a search on Factory Outlet Store Reviews. Someone answered the phone before the I could read any reviews and FactoryOutletStore.com wanted to know my company name, nothing to do with my credit card. After I gave that info I found all the negative reviews and started kicking myself for not checking them out first (same comment as another reviewer). I was told by the first CSR that I would get an email of the sale with tracking information. It didn't show up in my inbox on Tuesday when I ordered it. It didn't show up on Wednesday so I went online and checked with my credit card company and sure enough, there was the charge for the Garmin. Thursday I called them to find out what was going on and possibly see if I could just cancel the order since I had received no emails from them. The rep told me it did ship on Tuesday and I was scheduled to receive it the next day, Friday. He verified my email address and they had misspelled my name. He changed the email address and I soon got the confirmation email with the tracking number. It said it would indeed be delivered today, Friday. The mail came and sure enough, there was my Garmin. I opened the box and checked all the contents and looked close to make sure it wasn't a used or reconditioned unit. Everything was brand new. I turned it on and it seems to be working just fine. I'll install it on my motorcycle this weekend and check everything else out too. I really don't have any complaints about this company. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because of their sketchy $25 gift card scam. I think the CSR gets a commission on every sale and that is why they push you so hard to make the transaction over the phone. Otherwise, I'm completely satisfied at this point.

Stay away from these people
I ordered a wallet with Factoryoutletstore.com even though it was listed as backordered. The website said it would fill the order in a few days. This didn't happen. The price wasn't fantastic, but I thought this was affiliated with PacSafe, the maker of the wallet. FactoryOutletStore.com aren't. So about a month later, I get a call from them asking me to swap the item for another wallet "just a little bit larger." I was tired of waiting, so I said to send it. Instead of a man's wallet, I got an organizer the size of a woman's purse. That will NOT fit in my pocket. I asked for a refund or exchange. I got the form and it showed a 15% "restocking fee" if the item isn't broken. This is unfair, since THEY were the ones that made the mistake. I filled out the form and asked for a lower priced wallet. They received the returned Purse (wallet) on February 5,2016 at 10:15am. I called today and they said the tracking is not good enough and they don't have the merchandise I sent to exchange it. They want more proof that they got the item. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with these people if you can help it. Any problems are NOT addressed in a timely manner and they make you jump through hoops to get what you paid for. I wish I could give them 1/2 a star rating and I will tell everyone in the world eventually.

UPDATE: The company quietly posted a credit to my card, so I didn't have to call the card company and contest the charge.

If I could give Zero Stars I would, Horrible place
I never write reviews but I feel compelled to write this one. I was in search of an inexpensive Refurbished Great condition Macbook, I have gotten one before so I knew it was possible. IE I ended getting one on Walmart.COM W/ A 3 YEAR WARRANTY If anyone is interested. Anyway I found this site and I bought one, I immediately was charged and got the receipt sent to my email no problem. I noticed a week goes by I still haven't received any shipping. I called them FactoryOutletStore.com said I will get my item in 3 weeks, that wasn't specified on the site. I said ok, instincts told me to double check the reviews which I should have done in the first place, I saw a bunch of horror stories, so I called them right away before the item was shipped and requested a refund. They tried to convince they can said me another one because the one I ordered is on back order, I basically said no sir give me my money. I made sure I didn't get off the phone until they issued a refund confirmation to my email, just in case there was some funny stuff I could show my bank. The refund said 2-5 business days, yesterday was the fifth day no refund. I called them, they said because the" item was never sent I was never charged" I said sir I am looking at the charge right here, they said take it up with my bank. I hope this story helps, I went to Walmart.COM got a 3 year warranty and my computer within 5 business days. The irony is I am typing on the computer right now to give this review.

They are clearly paying for these ratings
FactoryOutletStore.com are clearly paying for these ratings. If you do a search online you see that this company has a HORRIBLE reputation and the customer service is atrocious. I purchased 2 Galaxy S5s from them and after one phone's screen stopped working I contacted them for a Warranty Repair.

I was given an RMA and the company to send the phone to. I sent it on Oct. 8, and after a week, tried to follow up with the company to ensure it was received. I tried multiple times and could NEVER get a live person. I then called FOS and they told me that it may take a week or two before the repair is processed. So I waited two more weeks. Nothing.

Finally I called back and after 2 hours of being disconnected and recalling, and spoke to "Melissa" in processing who assured me she would follow up on this and get back to me in 2 days. A week passes and no call from Melissa so I call her back. I get VM.

I then call back and speak to "Tracey" who again assures me she will get back to me in 2 days. Nothing.

I have since contacted my Credit Card company to get this resolved.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Read the ratings here... many are BS and not valid ratings! I would give NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could!

I also had issues with the initial order when they claimed I would have free same day shipping and that didn't happen. Ended up paying extra and it STILL didn't arrive in time before my flight out of the country for my wedding! TERRIBLE!

Dont' do business with this company!
Dont' do business with this company! I went online and saw a wireless Panasonic 4-line phone system that I had used many times in the past. The web page had "NEW" plastered all over it. I called in to verify the price since it was at least $100 less than all others that i could find on the internet, to verify it being new. When I got a representative on the phone, FactoryOutletStore.com gave me an even better price. I should have known right then it was a bait and switch operation. I again asked if it was new equipment, and was assured it was new. I then made the mistake of giving my credit card to the rep. They immediately charged my card and sent me a confirmation email. Should have read the email, it showed " Factory Serviced" with 90 day warranty and Returnable 30 day Guarantee. When it showed up, it was not in Panasonic boxes, (First clue), and When going to record the Voice Mail message it already had a message on it from the "Robinson" family (2nd clue). When I tried to return it, they told me sorry for the misunderstanding (should have told me they lied), and that if only I would give them my credit card a second time, they would be sure to get me the "new" equipment out. I told them in no uncertain terms that I didn't trust them to send me new, since that is what they said the first time. After 3 times with three different managers, I realized it was a lost cause. Now before the 90 days, i have had 2 of the three wireless handsets go bad. STAY AWAY> THEY ARE FRAUDS!

I guess the phrase if it is too good to be true, is accurate.

Next Step is filing a complaint with the BBB in NY.

LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE: Fraud and Deceit. Charged Immediately though No Product To Be Available!
Factoryoutletstore.com said 2-5 day delivery on May 4,2020 as I placed my order. FactoryOutletStore.com charged my credit card that very same day.

I call a week later when I have not received the product and:
1) At first they said are at least 1-2 weeks backordered (while Amazon shows 5 week back order).
2) Then I ask to speak to a manager, and after a long wait, I'm told they will no longer be selling hair trimmers.
3) I ask how the item can be backordered for 1-2 weeks if they are no longer selling hair trimmers. Those are opposites.
4) Note I never received an email that my order was to be delayed.
5) Of course, I only ordered it in the first place because they said it would be delivered in a maximum of one week, two days before I had an interview.
6) My guess is they take 100's or 1000's of orders, knowing they do not have the products in stock, promise a short delivery time, charge people's credit cards, then wait it out.
7) To me that very simply sounds like fraud and deceit.
8) Next, filing a complaint with the Federal Bureau of Consumer Protection. -- https://www.ftc.gov/about-ftc/bureaus-offices/bureau-consumer-protection
9) Then, in Florida the state agency with general consumer interest responsibilities is the Florida Department of Legal Affairs of the Florida Attorney General. http://myfloridalegal.com/contact.nsf/contact?Open&Section=Citizen_Services

Guaranteed Refunds?
Since there isn't an option for no stars, I clicked on 1 star!

Referring to my previous letter/email in reference to this deplorable transaction:
<<
I originally discussed exactly what I wanted with the Order by Phone' clerk and she was very difficult to deal with since she didn't seem to understand the product.

When I received the incorrect items and I called Customer Care (Kenneth) to return them, he attempted to sell me an item which was not what I wanted. Further, he stated that the item I had rec'd was the correct one. It is obviously not. And now, I am expected to pay shipping to return the items?!?

Perhaps the wrong item was packaged by RAM Mount, but that was not my fault. That's between RAM Mounts and Factory Outlet Store. IT'S THE WRONG PART.

There seems to be a lack of understanding of how to coordinate the proper items with the customer!

I am not pleased with your handling of this situation.

BTW I could not track the items with the tracking number provided? >>>
I requested that I receive the GUARENTEED refund and the shipping cost to me, since this was obviously an error on your company's side and not due to any error on my part.
I then had to listen to a song and dance that you did not refund shipping costs since it was "not your fault".
Instead of prolonging any further transaction with your company and being additionally insulted, I advised that I would return the items for a full refund.
I did return the items, at a cost to me of $7.45 postage.
The items were received by you 6 days ago.
I was only refunded $25.09 of the purchase price of $43.64
A fee of $18.55 was deducted from my refund!?!
Exactly what is this fee for? You have the audacity to charge a 15% restocking fee AND the original shipping fee back to me, even those two items DO NOT add up to $18.55?
I believe you owe me $26.
This is undoubtedly the most disreputable company I have ever dealt with.

Most disappointing service. Including misrepresentation and wrong part.
I placed an order for an X-85 depth finder transducer on March 1
Product was misrepresented by sales associate. I specifically gave the salesman the unit model over the phone to match the accessory needed.
I asked him twice if the skimmer bracket came with it, to which he affirmatively indicated twice.
Once all the ordering details were taken care of, sales rep didn't give me a confirmation number, I asked him to email it to me. The emailed, I didn't receive.
I followed up on the order 7 days later for I hadnt received it. I was told it would arrive from 2 to 5 days. I explained the circumstances to the representative who answered the call, including repeating that I didn't have a confirmation number due to that the email with it never came. He eventually found my record and confirmed all the information was correct, however, that the item could arrive up to the 15th.
I also asked him the transducer included the bracket; he responded that the product description didn't point that out. At this time, he was hurrying to end the call, offering me to return the item if I wasn't satisfied. Suddenly, the call dropped
I had to call back 3 more times to get a supervisor contact information.
I wrote the supervisor twice. I sent her an email explaining my issue. Since, there was no response, I sent her another requesting a reply. Still waiting.
Lastly, the part just came today. Its incompatible with my unit.

Do not order a thing from this site!
I ordered a pair of PetSafe inground fence dog collars, $70 a piece with an extended warranty for two years. Total cost of purchase $182.00. As is the case with previous purchases from other vendors, the collars arrive with the battery in place in off position. The battery is a lithium battery in a black plastic housing that screws into the collar. There is an accompanying tool, sort of a test charger/screwdriver combo, also made of black plastic.

I activated the first collar no problem and then moved onto the second collar (I have done this before many times, activating the collar is turning the battery to the on position) I repeated the same procedure, and as I turned the battery, the entire top of the battery casing broke off, the collar would not activate as I could not move the battery. I did not want to mess around with it and cause any damage. So I called customer service and when I attempted to explain that the battery casing broke, exposing the battery and not turning the collar on the woman asked "was it not broken before you touched it" and "it sounds like you damaged it and we cannot refund or replace the item". This despite a 30 day return policy AND an extended warranty that I purchased and clearly a defective plastic battery casing. My daughter was able to remove the damaged battery and we replaced it with a new one that I had bought, but honestly we tested the collars against another one we had and the two collars from here were definitely weaker and defective. After being treated so badly by customer service, I asked to speak to a supervisor (who of course was unavailable), I complained to google services, paypal, petsafe, etc. and I did receive a call from a supervisor the following day, I explained the collar is working but I did not want them after this experience. I have to wonder if the extended warranty would cover anything. I am returning the collars next week. Who knows how long it will take to get my refund.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. It is a shlock lot. It is not an offshoot of PetSafe. There are two different NY addresses and the customer service is in India. There is little to no communication between anyone and their policy is to sell you defective items and then not refund you for said merchandise.

Very bad experiences, very bad company.

This company is BS, they are liars and sold me a non-equivalent product
So we initiated the mattress search process because our Beautyrest (~8yrs old) had been sinking on each side for years and causing back problems. My wife has L4, L5, S1 lumbar back issues. Our Daughters' mattress is more springy and firm for back support so I tasked her to find us the same mattress. She found these idiots and liars at Factory Outlet Store, FactoryOutletStore.com represented themselves as official Serta Sales. When I spoke to their Sales guy, he said I was getting the equivalent mattress to Sertapedic Eurotop Fairview since they didn't make that model anymore. What we received was not equivalent, the Ferrera model. The tag verified it was made in Riviera Beach FL, so at least it didn't come from offshore. I was also told that they guaranteed the mattress, any issues return it. So after the 2nd night, I knew the sinking was already starting, and it kept getting worse. I called them over 10 times and asked for a full refund, not to mention they took our old Beautyrest at delivery. They said no to the refund. My only option was I had to pick another mattress and they would deliver for a fee of $150 plus the additional delta cost of the new mattress. I demanded a full refund and asked for management. The reps said the mgmt was always busy, they would call me back. I never got a call back. BOTTOM LINE - the reps seems to all be from India btw, but this company is BS, they are liars and sold me a non-equivalent product. I was not going to pay them more $ and take another risk, so I've had to put cardboard underneath the mattress and then spent $350 on a firmer mattress topper that the My Pillow company makes, which has actually helped our backs.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM FACTORY OUTLET STORE!
I have absolutely nothing good to say about my experience with VTech Factory Outlet Store. We ordered a set of phones for my aging grandfather. We received an email asking us to call them because FactoryOutletStore.com had additional questions about our order. We called and I spoke with Joel. The billing address and shipping address on the order did not match. The shipping address was a PO Box. They refused to ship to a PO Box and demanded that it be shipped to the billing address. The billing address is an apartment that does not have the capacity to receive large packages. They asked for an additional address. We gave them another address. They requested the name, phone number, and how this person was related. Throughout our conversation, I was placed on hold probably 10 times so he can relay the information that I provided to the "concerns department." At one point I asked to speak to the concerns department, specifically. Joel refused to transfer my call and told me, "They will just ask you for the same information." I felt very uncomfortable with the amount of personal information they were asking for (e.g. Names, phone numbers, emails, relation to me, etc.), so I asked to speak to a supervisor. Joel refused to transfer me to a supervisor. At this point, we requested to cancel our order. I was placed on hold again. Joel came back and said that our order has been cancelled. I confirmed that it would be a full refund. He said yes, but was unable to give me a confirmation number confirming my refund. He said we should receive it via email within 24 hours. I have NEVER worked with a company that refused to provide a confirmation number prior to hanging up the phone. We have yet to receive the confirmation email and the charge of $194.17 has been posted to our account. We called the customer service line and asked to speak to a supervisor. We had to be VERY firm with the customer service person to be transferred. Once on the phone with the supervisor, the phone "disconnected." We have yet to get a hold of anybody regarding the order. We are now working with the bank to dispute the transaction. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!

Plantronics headset
Talked to a rep to make sure I got the right headset for my needs. A little hard to understand his English and he was outside somewhere based on the background noise, so I asked where he was calling from. He said he was in New York so I continued. He assured me of the model I would need and gave me a price for a refurb. I was concerned about getting a used one, but he told me it was factory reman and would be good. Got the unit today and some pieces were missing, the headset itself was lose bouncing around with the other pieces. No instructions, no CD to load on my PC which I made clear is what I was using it for. The base did not look like it had even been cleaned. Even the order form was just jammed in with the packing

With COVID issues and this coming supposedly from New York I was really surprised.

I called to explain and again someone with a strong accent answered and did not understand at all why I was not happy. I asked to speak to a manager, waited for a couple of minutes and FactoryOutletStore.com told me no one was available and I would get a call back. They did not ask me for a call back number and fifteen minutes later, no call.

I called back then to return and the first person asked me questions, then said his internet was having issues and I lost the connection. Called back and the person also sounded like they were outside with wind noise. He took the order number and said I would get an email with instructions to return within five minutes.

Liars
I placed an order for@ $10.5k worth of Garmin product. But 1st i called customer service to verify stock was available. After a real live 2 way phone con verifying inventory ( lie #1) i ordered on line as i hung up the phone for next day shipment. A few days later i notice nothing shipped so i call customer service. FactoryOutletStore.com confirm the entire order was stopped because some items were on back order! So i agree to remove the backordered items from the order and ship whatever they do have in stock. A few more days go by. No shipment. I call again, now being suspicious and after they verify nothing has shipped so i kill the entire order. They verbally agree to do so. About 36 hours later they hit my credit card for the value of the full original order. I call again. How can they charge when stuff is backordered and nothing has shipped? Answer, i didn't cancel order via email. Verbal cancellations are insufficient! I wish i taped the conversations. So i sent an email cancelling the order. Eventually i called my credit card company to dispute the charges. The very next day i got an email saying they were refunding the charges. Oh, by the way, in roughly 6 calls over two weeks, everyone i talked to had a very heavy Indian accent. This outfit obviously uses an offshore call center. And all thru this mess their website knowingly keeps showing all of the items from my order as "in stock". Liars. I had 4 more outfits play similar games. The Covid has backed up Garmin deliveries on a worldwide level. It seems it is a common practice to lie about inventory to get an order placed, to get you to buy. I eventually found Hodgesmarine.com which i had dealt with once a few years back. They had all but two items in stock, including a pair of 8612xsv chartplotters (@$4k each) and shipped it all within two days. In the meantime, FACTORYOUTLETSTORE.com website continued to show inventory on all if my items yet repeatedly told me on the phone they couldn't ship as what i wanted was on backorder. Stay away from these liars. By the way, when i called Hodges with a question i didnt get a 10 minute phone tree, computer driven aggrevation process. I got a real, live non accented American-easy-to-understand person. I am sure there are many other stateside shops of similar high quality. Before you order online about to spend big $$, call their customer service 3 or 4 times and see who answers the phone. If they all have the same hard-to-understand accent, its most likely an offshore call center and the company is merely a drop-shipper that carriers zero inventory with no actual warehouses. Do yourself a favor and dont order there. Definitely don't order from FACTORYOUTLETSTORE.com.

I needed a Samsung OEM refrigerator filter
I needed a Samsung OEM refrigerator filter. The description on this vendor's website made it pretty clear that FactoryOutletStore.com had just what I was looking for. Given my suspicions of many online vendors, however, I called to make sure. I was told that the filters are OEM Samsung. Shipping was quick and the filters arrived today. They are not Samsung OEM. It is not worth returning them given they really do appear to be the equivalent in terms of NSF/ANSI standards compliance, fit, and mechanical integrity - assuming the claims of compliance by the manufacturer (at least a USA company and not Chinese) are true!. I suspect that a letter to the FTC and would force the vendor to pay the freight for return under these circumstances and likely require the vendor to amend its online product description. Bottom line: Is it worth the time to get into this over a product that is only a few dollars more from this vendor than others for similar aftermarket products -- and very likely is the equivalent of the desired OEM filter? Probably not, but the misleading website information and dishonest response by telephone suggests the company is not one worthy of my future business. Sure, all this could be my misinterpretation of the website information and a badly informed young employee. That's not something I need to fret over, however. These things should not happen and if they do then it's on the vendor, not me...

FactoryOutletStore.com are bunch of thieves!
No Money! (extra non-refundable ~$30 wasted)
No Time! (~3 months of waiting and arguing wasted)
No Spirits! (~over 7 hours of aggressive correspondence and horrible company employees' ethics wasted)
No product received after all and no apologies!

No to http://www.factoryoutletstore.com/ on U.S. market!

In fact, what is advertised on the website of http://www.factoryoutletstore.com/ is not what you are going to get shipped and the company aggressively declines exchanges and/or money returns! Finally in 3 month of fighting for some justice, money only partially returned, but no apologies for hanging up phones, extremely long waits and no notification by email or follow ups with a phone call were arranged after any adjustments. This down to earth UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE!

http://www.factoryoutletstore.com/ has very unethical and aggressive customer service. Once you pay your money, you can forget about their employees including management staff being polite and professional with you.

No! FactoryOutletStore.com won't work to expedite your order which was almost 3 month overdue!
No! They won't be sorry that you end up paying all shipping and restocking fees for misleading pictures of their product posted on their website!
No! They won't even feel bad for their employees' short temper and aggressive ethics to their clients!

This kind of companies must be banned by U.S. government to practice on U.S. market!
Most of their company's crew that came across to me don't even communicate the language a normal person would comprehend, and yet their warehouse is located in NY!
Shame! This is a 3rd world barbarian company that pretends to be something else.
Do not trust them!
Don't be fooled with their website, comments and the products that are listed in there!
It is nothing like trustable online market that most of us are used to!

List of http://www.factoryoutletstore.com/ employees that came across while fighting my way through their online and phone systems: Asher, Ed, Ruben, Tracy (manager).
Please write your inquiries for the order number if interested.
I am about to file a small claim against this company for the service provided with no complete money refund for the product I paid for and waited for almost 3 month.

Horrible Customer Service
I bought a used (refurbished) POL-2200-12375-025-RE Polycom phone from this company. The phone came without its AC Adapter and after that it didn't work at all with the Ethernet connection. Company refused to provide the AC Adapter saying it had to be bought separately. Really? AC Adapter must be a integrated part of an electronic equipment. The seller did not specified that the adapter needed to be bought separately. First. Secondly, seller agreed on free shipping. Item arrived two days late after the assured delivery date. Company promised to send a return label withing 24 to 48. Twenty-four hours to email a return label? Really? After finally emailing the label, and the phone was sent back, seller was contacted to assure FactoryOutletStore.com had received the returned item and to request expedite shipment of the replacing phone. Customer representative assured he was going to do the best to make sure customer gets the phone back ASAP. After checking with the seller on the status of the shipment, customer was informed that the order was not expedited, that he was going to get the merchandise in 10 business days. Really? Bottom line, the customer care of this company is just horrible. Communicating with the personnel is really difficult. Besides linguistic problems, they're very impolite, when not rude. I would never buy again from this company.

Computer Battery - Toshiba PA3534U
I bought a replacement laptop computer battery Toshiba PA3534U. Factory Outlet Store website stated that the battery meets or exceeds original manufacturers specification. My original battery lasted 4 years. Their replacement worked for less than 90 days before it stopped taking a full charge even though I cycle charged by letting it drain all the way down. I called their customer service and was told that the battery only has a 30 day return policy. However, the website warranty page implies some manufacturers have a 90 day warranty; apparently this does not apply to their computer batteries, now I understand why. He told me that I should have purchase the 2 year warranty for an additional fee. I checkout a number of other websites that sell the same type of battery and FactoryOutletStore.com all offer a 1 year warranty at no additional charge. I mentioned this to their customer service representative and he must have gotten confused. He told me I should have purchased the battery from them. I was surprised by his answer and asked "so you are telling me to buy batteries from your competitor". He then stumbled on this words because the conversation was no longer going by the "script" in front of him. I do a lot of my shopping online with Amazon and have had great experiences. In hind sight, I should have stayed with them. Needless to say I am out a battery and will check out the competition for better product offerings, warranty, and customer service.

I wish someone could stop this fraudulent business!
I spent 2669. 00 for a Minn Kota trolling motor and had it shipped to a boat dealer to install on new boat. The dealer saw that the remote control for trolling motor was cracked upon opening and notified me right away with picture. I contacted Factory Outlet Store for a return and FactoryOutletStore.com said they would have to "Investigate". The dealer then immediately sent them pictures of the the broken remote and they sent FED EX to the dealer to send back the remote. The dealer told FED EX that I had the remote and Fed Ex would not give the dealer the return slip (which he wa going to send to me). The dealer and I both received an email from factory outlet Store stating the so called "Investigation" would be resolved in 2 to 5 days. Nothing happened for at least 10 days after so I called them up and was told by "Leo" that 30 days had passed and was out of warranty. I asked when the start and end times were for the 30 days and he would not give me this info. I pressed this and finally he said the end date was when he received the email from the dealer with the picture! I asked him why they already sent FED EX to the dealer to get the remote then and he did not have an answer for this. I pressed again and finally he said it was a mistake. MISTAKE BY WHO and For What reason? This company LIES, does not respond to emails, makes up their own rules, and refuses to return/pay out even though this was clearly within 30 days under their own warranty. I am out a 300 dollar remote that arrived broken and was totally documented by reputable dealer. They did absolutely nothing for me and strung me along- knowing all along they were never going to do anything for me! Meanwhile I wasted three weeks with a trolling motor that does not work and I still don't have a remote! Unbelievable company that I cannot believe someone has not shut them down yet!

Deceived
First FactoryOutletStore.com said I would receive my item in 2-5 days. Then after 2 days waiting for the tracking I emailed them. Never heard anything. Then I decided to call. The automation said they were experiencing too many phone calls so I left my number for them to call me back. I was super happy to see them calling me back but there wasn't anyone there. I called again and left my number again. Nothing... emailed them again. Nothing. Then the next day at 4:30 A.M. they emailed me a generic excuse why it hasn't shipped yet. I sent them 3 emails and called them twice leaving my number. I received back one email and a phone call back with no one there. Then I decided to use the chat feature from their website. I argued with their customer service person for a bit. That person said 2-5 for them to process, dispatch, whatever... and then 2-5 days shipping after that. Then added if not sooner...? Don't tell me that crap you used car salesmen... I'm fuming at this point and then ask the person shouldn't your website say up to 10 days? And then asked if I could cancel my order and get a refund. The person asked me to hold. Then ever 3 minutes strung me along with "please hold" and "sorry for the delay" this went on for about 15 minutes. I then asked why I was being held up. The person said it had been dispatched and they were checking. I said "ok" to give them a break. I got one more of their responses saying "sorry for the delay" and then the chat was cut off! I waited for a phone call or an email. Nothing. Opened up the chat again. Got back in touch with them. And then asked what they figured it out. They had a smart response telling me when I ordered it. Then they said it has been dispatched. I decided not to continue to beat up this person anymore. Probably just some poor kid. I ordered $350 worth of radio equipment from them because they advertised fast shipping. That's the only reason. Im getting ready to order another $350 but it won't be from these people. It's been 4 days now and I haven't even got confirmation of it shipping yet. My friend bought almost the exact same radio from a different company and ordered it a day after I ordered from this company. He received his today. I'm sitting here hoping they might find the time to ship it this week so I can't get it by the end of next week. Again... I will not be buying from these people again. If feel like I was deceived from the get go. I know for sure their customer service and communication are the worst I have ever experienced.

Worst service ever for broken HP laptop
I bought this laptop from FactoryOutletStore. I own a computer shop and bought this laptop for a customer that also wanted me to upgrade the hard drive to a solid-state drive. To install the solid state drive you have to take off the bottom case cover which is pretty simple on this model. However, once the bottom was removed, I noticed that the plastic part of the case that the right-side display hinge attaches to was broken and both screws were missing. There is no way you could do this damage by simply taking off the bottom cover. This was obviously done by someone else and then sent back. The strange thing is that you would not notice that the hinge was broken unless you took the cover off so I don't doubt that the person that refurbished the laptop didn't notice the problem. I just couldn't sale this to a customer.
I contacted FactoryOutetStore at once and I was told that quote "I am sorry to say we can not take this back as this was tampered with. Once a end user opens up the hardware and/or modifies it, we can no longer accept it back". I've never heard this kind of response from any company that sells computers. FactoryOutletStore.com consider upgrading a hard drive to be tampering. Ha-ha. HP actually gives you directions on how to replace a hard drive so how could it be tampering? Also, there is no mention of this policy on the FactoryOutetStore website. I was never able to talk to anyone with any technical experience and was only allowed to talk to Level 1 support out of India that didn't have a clue. I could tell that they were just reading off scripts in an effort to reject any returns from customers.
So, thank goodness I made the purchased through PayPal. I got them involved and they had the case wrapped up in one week and I had my money refunded after I returned the laptop.
I would not recommend doing any business with FactoryOutletStore. I would consider this company to be very close to a scam site.
