From horrible to better... back to bad again.
At first I was very upset with the whole process of this company regarding delays in shipping and the inaccurate sizing posted, etc. and I immediately posted an online review indicating my frustration through this site (TrustPilot) directly but the company followed up with me shortly therafter and did what Fashion Nova could to resolve the issue. I got my store credit promptly, an additional e-gift card, including free shipping... free shipping was unnecessary at this point as my store credit was more than enough to qualify for free shipping when placing my second order but if I do decide to purchase from them again in the future... I may use that code. I also utilized my store credit during one of their sale specials which seems to be happening daily... I keep getting ads for percentages off. So I was able to place my additional order with an additional 30% off when using my funds available. Per their ability to resolve the issue, I have now changed my review from horrible to average. This is largely dependent on how my new order is received. So far... one of my orders came through correctly and it was just a matter of selecting a different size but I am overall pleased with it. So we shall see how the latter comes... I am honestly hesitant to spend new money with this store again in the future but I do appreciate that they resolved my prior concerns in a timely fashion.

The business attempted to resolve my issue by granting me store credit after I had to pay to return my items. I was not aware that returns meant that I would only be granted store credit only, no option to exchange or refund until I got a slip with my package in the mail stating that. It does state on the website that you have to pay to return which I was fine with util I got my items and realized the sizing was incorrect and my pkg arrived later than was initially advertised. I was livid and posted negative comments about the store on two different sites and they reached out and offered me free shipping, extra coupons, etc. I got my store credit and then I visited the site again, I was very nervous about making my final second purchase since I had such a bad experience the last time. I even changed my online reviews to reflect that the company had resolved my issues. The items arrived, missing one of the items that apparently was out of stock and the sizing was an issue yet again... now I either have to pay to send it back to get store credit yet and try this all over again or I can get my money back like I should have from the start. According to their site I am plus size so I made my second purchase in what I assumed was correct sizing based on the two items I kept from the original order, only to have issues again when I should have just received refund for all of this nonsense weeks ago. I can guarantee never doing business with this company ever again! I shop through other stores like Venus Clothing and Bebe they take way better care of you! Know that you pay for what you get through this site, the lower price means crappy service indeed. Venus and Bebe include offering free return shipping labels, 90 day guarantees and their sizing is accurate. You're better off going through them instead!

Fashion Nova is a scam and you should stay away from them.
I, (like everyone else) got caught up in the social media frenzy surrounding this brand. My first order was place on Cyber Monday of 2016 and I honestly should have learned my lesson then...

-My Cyber Monday order (besides the whole extreme delay issue) was shipped without a jumpsuit I ordered. I was informed that I would receive a store credit for the amount paid. After numerous emails and messages on social media, to this date (03/28/2017), I have never received that credit.
-I ordered the same jumpsuit recently when I saw it was back in stock. The jumpsuit came with a hole in the leg area the size of a walnut and the zipper on the back hanging off on one side.
-Fashion Nova's clothes are not true to size and when I say not "true to size" I mean ANY size. I've ordered tops, bottoms, jeans, and dresses all in the same size and had different results with fitting.
-The quality of the clothing Fashion Nova sell is below average. I've brought two "jackets" from them (the only pieces I like) and both pieces are too thin to be considered outerwear. A common problem with ALL their items.
-The final chance for me is that last week I placed an order for jeans and used a store credit that I had. I covered the cost of the jeans and shipping with the amount for the credit. I never received a confirmation email even though I was sent to a confirmation page and told my order was on its way. A week later I checked my email notifying me that the jeans I thought I ordered were back in stock. Confused and not sure why I would be alerted to this, I went to check my store credit which was thankfully still intact. Fashion Nova NEVER notified me that my order item was out of stock. If that had been my cash, I would have been out of luck with getting my money back...

The company overall seams disorganized and shady. Their "no refund" policy stands even if they make an error or the items were damaged. My final verdict is don't waste your time. There are other places with better items and much better service.

My birthday party is ruined
I placed an order on wed 9/06/17 with 2 day shipping, the expectation was I would have my dress on or before my birthday which is on 9/12. I provided my mother home address as the shipping and my apartment address for the billing, however it took 3 days for my order which was 1 dress to be processed and shipped. No big deal I assumed that would be standard, however I did reach out to customer service for help with tracking my dress on sept 8th and Fashion Nova finally responded on the 13th of September. Those weren't the only issues I had with them, the worse part of this entire situation was the fact that my dress never came. I tracked the package to show that the address was undeliverable so I had to have it redelivered to my mothers address once again. So Once again the package was not delivered to my mothers address, and here I am livid without a dress. So today 9/13 I go to my local post office to speak to a supervisor to get to the bottom of this issue, where I was informed that the shipping label provided by fashion nova was my mothers house address with my apartment letter attached. So now I'm beyond livid, as far as I'm concerned the post office did their job by attempting to deliver to a house address with a apartment letter (rolls eyes). Once I left the post office, I called fashion nova customer service number 4 times with no success to get through to a live representative, which left me no choice but to drive to Vernon california from Long Beach California to speak to someone in person. Now here's where things get good. I spoke to women in customer service at the office, she stated that if it was a mistake made by them she would issue me a store credit for me to pick up a dress at the montebello location, I agreed and she went to the back to I guess check a few things. Next thing I know is she comes back and states that this was an error made by the post office. (How) At this point I was thinking how would the post office be able to screw up my billing address and shipping address? She further goes to explain to me how there's nothing she could do but to refund my money on my card which will take a few days and I can go into the store to buy another one. As my first and only purchase with fashion nova I would never shop nor recommend anyone I know to shop with them ever. Poor customer service through email, over the phone, and in person. So if anything ever goes wrong with your order there's nothing you can do. On another note my birthday party was ruined, because everything I purchased was centered around the dress.

Not a good look fashion nova and ladies please beware.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SIZING CHART
I ordered a bodysuit in a size M but clearly the size chart for bodysuit are way off because it didn't fit. I couldn't even get my arm into the shirt and I never forced it wasn't on my body just my arm. The tags are still on the shirt as well as the packaging. I would like if you guys put up a size chart for bodysuits because now I am out of 13 dollars on a shirt I cannot wear. When contacting customer service it was the most difficult and annoying process, I sent an email to *******@fashionnova.com only to get an automated message and at the very bottom of the message it says to reply back so I just copy and pasted my message. Then I got another automated messages saying the same thing except at the bottom it said to open up a ticket which was link which redirected me to a website like a blog for Fashion Nova. I had to sign in using my Fashion Nova account then write a form so once again for a THIRD time I copied and pasted my concerned about the body suit not fitting and never putting it on only putting my arm into it and that it had original tags and the packaging is still good. One or two days later I got a very bland response saying Fashion Nova can only give me 50% store credit back on the items which would only be about 6.50 which I do not appreciate. I understand that certain items are finale sale items such as undergarments but going off your size chart I'm a M in tops and the items didn't fit when I ONLY put my arm in and instead of 50% credit back I would like the full 13 dollars because I was scammed in a piece of clothing I wanted to wear that does not fit and would like a full refund. When you can't physically try on a item and only go off a size chart then receive that item and try to send it back the same day because your arm can't get into it and full refund should be issued. As well and creating a size chart for bodysuits. This is the second time I have ordered from Fashion Nova and I did not appreciate the customer service as if my business wasn't important and the fact I won't get issued a full refund. If it is your first time ordering from them go a size up always.

THIS BUSINESS PAYS PEOPLE TO WRITE HUNDREDS OF FAKE REVIEWS THROUGHOUT THE INTERNET AND CANNOT HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES TO KEEP UP WITH CLOTHING AND WAREHOUSE DEMANDS/DISTRIBUTIONS. AGAIN, WHY Fashion Nova ARE TRASSSHHHH.

In the whirlwind of a few weeks, I have had to open and dispute a claim with paypal to get my money back and now I have just reported them to the BBB! Will be reporting to FTC for scam-like business practices as well.

I have called FN numerous times, their customer service number doesn't even have a human being on the other line. It just goes straight to voicemail. They are difficult to contact and either ignore your emails or answer you a generic response or don't answer any of your questions.

When I confronted them about the 3 days processing plus 2 day shipping because my order was yet to be shipped and it's been passed the 3 day mark, no response. When I asked to cancel/refund my order, no response. When I FINALLY opened up a claim with paypal, they emailed me back that I could cancel. Several days later, no actions or updates from them. When I emailed them asking for an estimated timeframe of when my cancel/refund would be processed, again, NO RESPONSE. When I finally escalated the claim with paypal to a dispute, they IMMEDIATELY refunded me the same day.
WHAT PISSES ME OFF is this proves that they could have easily refunded me with no difficulty, especially if it is due to their own error and negligence.

Now I know they are currently switching/expanding warehouses and thus there is a delay in processing time, BUT that was not posted on their website when I placed an order. I expected and needed my order within a certain time frame. When I emailed them numerous times about when my order would be expected to ship and mentioned their shipping/processing time on their website, THEY MAGICALLY CHANGED THE PROCESSING TIME. Plastered all over their website, said there would be shipping delays due to warehouse changes. Was it a coincidence that I emailed them regarding this and no response from them, but a couple of days later they decided to cover their own butts by changing that information on their website? I think not!

Back to my problem with canceling/refunding: paypal immediately sided with me and FN immediately refunded me my money and the dispute was automatically closed. WHAT UPSETS ME EVEN MORE is that I emailed FN several times throughout this debacle and asked for not only a CANCELLATION/REFUND, but ALSO ASKED FOR A REFUND OF MY OWN MONEY BACK INTO MY STORE CREDIT. I used a previous store credit on that transaction, but when paypal closed the case FN never sent me the store credit back. I emailed them several times and mentioned it in my conversations through paypal, FN never regarded it or responded to it.

Now, I finally emailed them a week later (have been ignoring my emails, not even an automated response) and threatened to report them to the BBB and FTC, which I recommend you do as well if they have ever done anything like this to you!
Then ALL OF A SUDDEN, they finally emailed me back and gave me my store credit with no explanations, apologies, just a bunch of generic responses again!

WHY FASHION NOVA IS A SCAM AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN: I don't like their "no return" and "only store credit" policy. I believe it is a ploy to steal their customers money. They literally allow you put items in your cart and make a purchase, then days later they will contact you saying some items in your cart are "out of stock" and WILL AUTOMATICALLY GIVE YOU STORE CREDIT. I have argued with them before that items being in stock and me being allowed to add them to my cart and make a purchase, then being suddenly out of stock sounds like a "fashion nova problem" (management/business problem, distribution problem, customer service problem, not enough workers), not mine! It's fashion nova's negligence on why that even happened, why don't I get my money back with a refund?! IT IS MY MONEY AFTER ALL. But again, their "no refund" and "only store credit" policy makes it so they can do this to their customers.

THAT IS WHY FASHION NOVA IS A SCAM.

Most people will accept this and not argue with them. Thus, FN keeps stealing from their customers because OUR OWN MONEY is being automatically converted into store credit which will continuously be used at FN. They don't care if they make mistakes because your money always gets converted into store credit and they KNOW you're just going to make more purchases with them in the future.

THERE ARE OVER 5,000 COMPLAINTS FOR FASHION NOVA ON BBB (BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU) AND THAT'S NOT A COINCIDENCE! I've read online, watched youtube, and seen on instagram of thousands of other customers with the same stories or worse! They delete negative comments and ignore your emails and don't pick up phone calls. Fashion Nova doesn't deserve to be in business. Period.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I had ordered around $120 worth of items from fashion nova on black Friday only to have my items shipped to me over a MONTH later. I had overlooked this as black Friday is a busy time and I was understanding of that. So once I had received my items, I was not happy with two of my items as the material was of poor quality on one of them and the jeans I had purchased was too small. Maybe if the website provided the size of clothing that the model was wearing and used models with realistic body proportions, it would be easier to order the proper size according to my own body.

Anyways, I had shipped my items back (which I had to pay extra money to do) in hopes of receiving an e-credit so I could exchange them. A month passed by and I had not heard from them. After being extremely patient, I decided to email them asking about my return only to receive an extremely delayed response stating that my return was not received. After explaining my situation and showing proof via receipt from the post office, I was told that my e-credit was on its way.

Weeks went by and I had not heard from them ONCE AGAIN. I emailed them multiple times only to be told again that my return had not been received AGAIN? Even though Fashion Nova said my e-credit was on its way? I was starting to get frustrated at this point and asked for a refund as it had been about two months since I returned my items and nothing was being done. After sending receipts and tracking information that proved my items had been delivered to them in beginning of January, it is now almost April and nothing has been done. I demanded a refund because who would want to shop with this company after this kind of service? Not only are they refusing to refund me but my emails are being ignored and neglected. I have to email them multiple times just to get a response.

They are a company that only cares about taking your money and has no care for customer service WHATSOEVER! Why would anybody want an e-credit after 3 months of nonsense?!?!?! The last thing I want to do is spend more money on shipping with a garbage company! I deserve a refund! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM! If you want good quality clothes shop at websites like missguided! Fashion nova is a scam and does not care about customer satisfaction at all!

I will never shop from them after this and will continue to warn my friends and family to do the same!

I ordered a shirt that looked very cute in the pictures Fashion Nova posted of it on their website. On the picture, the shirt looked like it was a regular shirt size, but when I got it in the mail it turned out to be a crop top when their description mentioned nothing about it being a crop top. Personally, I dont like crop tops because they're not within my comfort zone of things I like to wear. I guess it turns out they tucked the shirt the chick was modeling. They also didn't make it clear that their sizes run small, so I ordered a medium and that super cheap-material shirt fit me like an extra small. I paid a total of $21 for both the shirt & the shipping (I used a 30% discount promo code) and paid an additional $5 to return the item back to their Return Department. $26 isn't a whole lot of money, but I work my butt off at my minimum wage paying job, so that money is worthy to me. When I returned it, I was told by the post office that Fashion Nova would receive the package within 2 business days and gave me a tracking number to know when it was delivered. Fashion Nova received the package the day they were supposed to, and not once did I get an email notifying me in regards to the process of my return and no money was given back to me. I emailed their customer service and they told me they couldn't do anything about my issue because they don't deal with returns and that their Returns Department would give me in-store credit within 5-7 days. It's been 2 weeks since they got my return and they haven't bothered to give me back my money. At this point, I kind of feel like it's a lost cause, and im starting to lose the hope that I'm gonna ever get my money back. If I would've known they were gonna pull this crap on me I would've just donated the shirt and saved my $5 on shipping it back to them. Never again am I buying from them, the way the clothing is made isn't even worth the price. Their images on the products are very deceiving. I highly reccomend people to NOT buy from Fashion Nova.

Shop with caution! Ive sent over 4 emails with NO response, called and left voicemails with NEVER getting a response, my bank actually even called and Fashion Nova transferred her to some shop in the mall in Florida? She wasn't happy. I even tried getting ahold of them on Instagram and they BLOCKED AND DELETED my comments just simply asking about my order. I had to dispute them with my bank because I placed an order on Jan. 15 to get this jumpsuit that would be perfect for my birthday in a few months and got a bra along with it because I needed one with the type of jumpsuit it was. Anyways, they took the money out that same day and then a few days pass and still no tracking info even though they claim 2 day shipping... so I try emailing them asking if there was a problem or what is going on? I never hear anything back, but later that day on Jan. 18 they send out shipping and tracking info. I was just happy to finally have the chance to track it and its on its way! They said it was scheduled to be delivered Jan. 21. Jan. 20 came around (Friday) and at 9pm they email me saying "oops out of stock here is a $21 refund on this gift card, just use code during checkout" and let me remind you... the jumpsuit I purchased was 29.99 ALONE... plus I paid for the 12.99 bra and the $6.00... but they only want to give me $21.00? I thought it was weird hey sent me tracking and shipping info that stated that the jumpsuit was in it? So I went to check on their website and the jumpsuit was STILL in stock in EVERY size... so I was thinking maybe it was a glitch and somehow they messed up. SO stupid me, I order again trying to get that dang jumpsuit and used the gif card they "refunded" me with and also paid EXTRA and $6 shipping just in order to try to get the jumpsuit again that they said was out of stock... So I order it and some boots to go along with it because I figured mine as well order something else too since i'm ordering and they have their $6 shipping fee and also this "string me along" bodysuit I saw last minute that i fell in love with. I placed that order and was excited! AGAIN the day before my shipment was supposed to be here they sent an email not even saying it the jumpsuit was out of stock but just refunding my money on a gift card without any reason given... and AGAIN it was only $23.00 when the jumpsuit is $29.99 plus $6 for shipping! I was furious at this point because they don't allow "cash back" only refunds on gift cards so you are forced to purchase through them again, and thats how they get you and then you have to pay extra $6 for shopping costs. When my package did finally come... the two out of three items were there (because they just wanted to refund me for the bodysuit) and those two items were the WRONG SIZE! It even stated on the receipt (which I have pics of and wish I could post) that the size in the bodysuit was XS and size 5.5 in the boots... AND guess what their policy is on bodysuits?!? NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES NO EXCEPTIONS. SO. I ordered an EXTRA SMALL and received an EXTRA LARGE, there is literally no way I could fit that and now am stuck with a $22.99 bodysuit that I can't wear, return, or exchange because they messed up on their part, even though it clearly states XS, they just failed to read the receipt correctly. AND want to know another funny thing? On the tag of the body suit it CLEARLY states $12.97, but I was charged $22.99? I don't know what they are doing, but when I noticed that my jaw dropped. They literally sold me a bodysuit originally priced $12.97 IN THE WRONG SIZE for $22.99! Like HOW CAN THEY DO THAT?! And for my boots? They are a 6.5! Which they kind of work, but are not fitting enough to where I would be comfortable wearing them out. Then the fabric on the heel of one of the boots has glued seemed and & it's coming apart? I paid $52 for poorly made boots... and I am so worried the heel will break in half if I actually wear them for an extended period of time... I just am so so upset and dissapointed with Fashion Nova and my first time trying to purchase from them. ALL I wanted was to look cute for my birthday, but Fashion Nova failed to deliever my items.
After trying to email and call them, like I said earlier I finally tried contacting them on Instagram and asking them on there what was going on, and they just kept deleting any of my comments asking about my purchase and then blocked me. So I tried on my old account to ask again why they did that and SAME thing. Very unprofessional on their part, and I believe if you are going to try go operate a business dealing with other peoples hard earned cash, then you NEED to listen to your customers and TRY and WANT to help them, not delete their comments and block them when they simply want to know about their order because no one will email or answer the phone. I just am so disappointed!
You may get your stuff, you may not... and if you do it may not even be the right size and you may not be able to return it. SO the risk is yours. I just know I will NEVERRRRRRRRR order or spend my heard earned money on Fashion Nova ever again because they can't simply run their company properly for their customers. FASHION NOVA ARE SCAMMERS! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Based on this timeline it is evident that I have suffered a tremendous loss in this transaction as I have not receive my items until 22 days later from purchase. These items were purchased for the Christmas holidays, and due to not receiving them for my vacation, I was forced to spend additional money somewhere else because my package never came. I made numerous attempts to contact the establishment via phone, email, and through the website but always got a computerized general answer that never answered my questions or concerns.

On January 31, I spoke with a Supervisor (Kirstie Semien) and after addressing my concerns and she sympathized the situation as anyone would in the same predicament; and stated she would send an email to higher management to review my request to receive full refund back to original payment ending in 4426 and have them contact me within 48 hours. To date, I have not received a call back, and have been calling everyday since then to speak with someone, but was unsuccessful. Ive been submitting complaints and keep getting a generic response! As I have explained to the Supervisor, I have done business with fashion Nova many times in the past but have never had an experience as such. It is disappointing that due to circumstances on your behalf the customers had to suffer a loss regardless of the issues that took place. I do understand that there are policies in place, and your policy states that all returns are subject to store credit only. In this particular situation, the only reason the items were returned was because I had no use of them anymore due to delayed processing and shipping on your end that exceeded 3 weeks. Based on these facts, its only ethical to revisit policy and admit to remissness.

I am once again requesting to have my full payment of $205.72 refunded back to original payment of card ending in 4426.

Even all website with review functionality give us Consumer Alert! Saying that Fashion Nova are trying to artificially inflate the rating of their business (http://take.ms/ElRXb and http://take.ms/PQuZQ)!

They are thieves. They stole my money and do not want to send it back.
Here's a thing.
Ladies, if you are in the same situation as I am then start a fight.
- I purchased items and they were in stock.
- Payment (MY MONEY, REAL MONEY, $$$) went successfully.
- I recieved CONFIRMATION that my parcel is on it's way.
But little did I know that after that I will receive notification saying "OOPS, you're items out of stock we will give you an e-giftcard".

Now, Fashion nova, I want to ask you:
1. IS IT MY PROBLEM THAT I PAID AND WAS NOTIFIED THAT I WON"T GET MY ITEM DUE TO YOU BEING OUT OF STOCK WHEN THIS ITEM ON YOUR SITE IS MARKED AS AVAILABLE?

After tonns of attempts to talk with their customer service, they told me that they started MONEY REFUND process (http://take.ms/hL5kF and http://take.ms/rr8ml), but in reality they did not do anything. How did I know that? I went to my Bank and provided all information I had about this situation, they said that they wil take care of that. And they did. I got my refund AFTER 5 WEEKS from the moment "Fashion nova is a scam" company told me so.

But you know what's funny?

Fashion Nova returned not all of my money back as a refund! And meanwhile they sent me a message saying that the proceeded all refund (http://take.ms/p3h2pI)! THEY EVEN CALCULATED THE AMOUT TO BE REFUNDED! (http://take.ms/J4DyI). Instead of the overall sum they had to pay me they paid only $27.98! Where is my $5.59?
SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS!

I NEED MY MONEY BACK.

I'm sick and tired of these frauds. We need to SUE THEM. And institute CLASS ACTION on the grounds on ILLICIT ENRICHMENT.

Fashionnova sold items that were not in stock and instead of giving my money back decided to issue me a f. Gift card. I told them that they cannot use my money if they won't ship the items I PAID for.

Several times Fashionnova lied to their customers:

2. Instead of the overall sum they has to pay me back $33.57 (http://take.ms/vFP0i), but in reality they refunded only $27.98! Where is my $5.59?

Listen all Fashionnova customers - that is a true scam. I suggest you to not shop there and just go to some trustworthy websites.

But if you in the same situation as I am now - call the police and tell them that you faced illicit enrichment and let police do it's job.

When I asked fashionnova about my parcel being stucked somewhere without any movements they told me that everything's ok and I can track my parcel %put_a_name_of_any_tracking_websites%. Which of course I did, but what I saw shocked me:

You sold me items and then told me that they are not available anymore. You gave me no choice in replacing these items, because placing 2 orders requires 2 times shipment. You said that you issued me a gift card with the amount of money that I PAID you already, which i don't need.

I do not need your giftcard, I need my money back. You are not a bank that can keep my money on your bank account. You have no rights to keep my money. You don't provide a good you return money back.

If you don't have these items and if you would never ship them to me than I don't have any reason to keep MY MONEY on your bank account.

I am not an investor.

So I demand my money to be returned. Provide me with full refund for all items that were never shipped to me to my bank account stated in the order. Otherwise I will see it as a illicit enrichment and will sue you.

Think twice! All of these items are created in Chine so there is a very big chance that you will see the very same items on other websites. Moreover, do not believe photos on their website. Their items never look like that. They also delete all 1, 2, 3-stars reviews.

I use to shop online a lot but I have never had such an awful shopping experience.

I bought 3 items, payed for them and after couple of days I recieved an email with tracking info, where all those 3 items were listed. I was happy and looking forward to get my package but after 4 another days I recieved another email saying that 2 OUT OF 3 ITEMS I BOUGHT ARE OUT OF STOCK... you know what they did next? They didnt ask me if I still want that 1 item to be sent to me (even though officially the package with all -3- items was on my way for 4 days already) they didnt contact me or asked me if I want refund, or pick something else, they just SENT ME THE ONE ITEM AND GAVE ME A FRICKING GIFT CARD WITH THE AMOUNT OF THOSE 2 ITEMS like "yea we put up for sale stuff we dont have, we make you pay for that then we send you only one item so you can waste your money on shipping another time again because we think you are stupid enough to buy from us again"(I pay international shipping)

You know the worst part about this? When I was checking those 2 items after I recieved second email, I was still able to buy them they WERE STILL UP FOR PURCHASE! So I dont understand how they couldnt put it in my package, why they scammed me like that, why they didnt send me items I PAYED FOR when they are still selling them. When i finally recieved my package with only one item, there was a leaflet named "oops" for next purchase discount for selling me items they didnt have, which was the proof that Im not the one who got scammed by their poor shopping tactics and putting up for sale nice items they dont actually have in stock.

I told them. Eighter send me additionally those 2 items I bought or I want a full refund- cause I would never buy just that one item alone its just not worth it. They didnt want to do eighter so I wrote my experience here and Ill also make an instagram post where i expose their sketchy services.

Now I know why they put so much money into promoting their shop on famous youtube channels. I will never again buy anything from shop any youtuber will promote! They are just trying to buy a good renomeé after they $#*! up at being a decent online shop and having a good service at all.

Refund Scam
I, too, ordered from Fashion Nova with the same disappointing results, as mentioned by others already. I ordered a pair of jeans by using the Fashion Nova size chart. According to them, I was a size 15. I have lost a bunch of weight and haven't been a size 15 in a while, but I figured Fashion Nova just ran small and that I'd give it a try. The jeans came in 3 days, not bad, but not the 2 day shipping they promoted. The wash of these jeans were the first thing I noticed. Completely disgusting and looked nothing like what I ordered. Then I tried them on and they were HUGE. They sagged everywhere and made my body look frumpy and DEFINITELY not like those "body perfect models" they have doing their clothes campaigns on their website. So I RETURNED them. I noticed right away that they don't give refunds, but rather "in-store credits". I thought this was a very clever way for them to cover their ass and insure that they get their money. I DIDN'T fight it. I figured I could order a smaller size and be done. I paid $19.99 plus $6 shipping. I used a %30 off discount bringing the total down to $20 even shipping included. Because Fashion Nova does not include a pre-paid shipping label, you then have to pay to RETURN the item, which I think we all can agree that is RIDICULOUS. I paid the return shipping thinking that I would be reimbursed for all the trouble. NOPE! They gave me $13 back in "store credit" which is EQUAL to what I paid just in SHIPPING! This makes me absolutely FURIOUS. The costumer service is ridiculous and I find it funny that there are absolutely no negative comments on their Instagram. I call this a scam because that's exactly what it is. I just feel sorry for the poor people who ordered $400 of items from this store. I guess when you have people like Kylie Jenner, Kim Khardashian, and Black Chyna sporting this brand you wouldn't think that the company would be so slimy, manipulative, and unethical. Maybe if we made as much money as their models or celebrity clientele they would provide better customer service...

Terrible customer service no number for contact
On March 28th I had ordered a bunch of stuff from fashion Nova including two pairs of shoes when I received the items I tried everything on nothing fit properly and everything looked different... When I tried on the second pair of shoes I didn't like them Fashion Nova didn't fit properly they didn't look how they looked on the website so I had decided to send it back I was in contemplation with this for a while so decided to try on the shoes again (I only tried on one shoe at a time) this time the shoe fit right and looked how it was suppose to look so I put the other side on it was then I realized that the left side was a size 8 and the right said was a see 6.5(which is the size I ordered) so I decedent to send it back it was then I realized that fashion Nova did not send me the proper tags I needed to send back the item so I decided to call them and ask the. What to do in the case of getting two different sides to my surprise the customer service number didn't work I was unable to speak to an actual person so I sent an email asking them to call me of course no one did so I sent a new email and they sent me back some automated policy crap of course this drew out my frustration I had paid 46.10 for these shoes... Finally someone emailed me back and at first they had this we don't really care attitude after numerous of emails and sending them pics of the shoes they told me I would have to send it back to them in order to receive my credit for my shoes they said they don't provide tags because they are only able to send yu back 10dollars for shipping... well I paid 36 dollars to ship those shoes back to them thinking I was at least gonna get back the 34.99 (46.10 after conversion) I paid for the shoes nope they only sent me 17.50 -_- now I emailing them asking them where the rest of my money is and of course no one is getting back to me and now I'm out of 82.10 all I wanted was for them to send me at least 34.99 back but they sent me 17.50 because the shoes went on sale which isn't fair to me cause I didn't pay sale price for the shoes not to mention I paid 36$ to ship it back and didn't even get the 10$ back for that so I would advise people not to order anything from fashion Nova they don't care about their customers all they care about is money

Dishonest reviews
I love the style of clothes Fashion Nova carry, their order process and shipping has been accurate and fast so far and the quality of clothes is just like my other favorite retailers. Excellent prices as well.

However, what I do not like about Fashionnova.com is that they only post the positive, 5 star ratings. It's shady.

I purchased a beautiful, vivid yellow crop top from them. It arrived quickly and looked exactly like the product on the website. I was excited to try it on and found that it was a perfect fit, soft material and looked fantastic. I couldn't have been happier until I took it off and found that the tag had snagged the material and caused it to pull a very thin run like stockings do. The quality of the material could have been a little better.

I left the tag on in case it didn't fit and I had to return it. I wasn't too concerned because it's a small snag, it's in the back of the top, and no one is going to see it. I secured the threads with some Stop Fray and proceeded to pair it with an adorable skirt for an upcoming trip.

Fashion Nova emailed me a week or so later asking for a review and I was happy to do so. I gave it 3 stars and proceeded to explain how beautiful the top is, vivid yellow, soft and fit just right. I gave my height and weight and what size I ordered and then explained the reason I gave it the three stars - quality of material and how easily it can pull a snag and run. I warned to be a gentle and careful with the piece.

The review has never been posted and I have gone back and searched the site to realize that every single review on their site is a five star, raving about each and every piece of clothing. Are you seriously going to tell me that not one customer has ever been dissatisfied with either a product or with the service they received?

Every retailer has the occasional glitch in service and poor quality and/or defective piece, or miss-sized product. It's the nature of the business and real and honest reviews only help other customers make good purchases and keeps them coming back for more. It shows that you are an honest retailer and willing to stand behind your name.

Posting only the 5 star reviews is shady and has me looking elsewhere for my clothes because I feel at some point you are going to make a mistake with one of my purchases and I cannot trust that you will stand behind your name and make it right. No business is perfect but typically if you're shady in one area, you'll be shady anytime it benefits you.

RED FLAG! Avoid.
I don't even have to buy from this website to know anything. It speaks for itself. I passed by it when I was looking for jeans. My initial impression was: "wow, these models literally look like exaggerated 3D models of women". I put stuff in my cart, hoping to purchase these jeans that supposedly caters to "curvy" females.

But then I decided to read their policies CAREFULLY, because honestly, the name of the website Fashion Nova reminds me of those Chinese-based websites I've purchased from (which I also had horrible experiences with). Well here's what I found:

1. All that social media advertising and having celebrities/Instagram models advertise your stuff, and still no FULL refund? No, I don't mean a e-gift card.

2. Their return policy claims Fashion Nova can reject returns if a "#NovaBabe" returns too much. Honestly, if you have issues with customers consistently giving stuff back, then perhaps you need to change your business model. Because not all of us are "Instagram famous" with thousands of followers. Some of us just want clothes that fit and not have to be burdened with fake cash in return.

3. If you have to use hashtags in your return policy section, then you arent taking your own business seriously.

4. Stale Returns are returns after 30 days, and Fashion Nova has a right to a 50% restock fee. The customers money is going to be in store credit anyway, why even bother allowing returns after 30 days?

5. If an item is out of stock after an order is placed, then you only get store credit back? Im sorry, really? Store credit? So now the customer is stuck forever using this fake money? How ridiculous is that and why are your customers penalized for something beyond their control?

6. Easy Return Policy is not easy at all. You are responsible for the cost shipping back and in addition, you dont get your real money back.

7. All their clothes are from wholesalers which can be found online or even on eBay if you dig hard enough. Fashion Nova is just a distributer, being able to sell the clothes for such a low price, in which, they will always be out of stock, in which you (the customer) will be stuck with if it doesnt work out for you. You will get crap quality in probably 80% of the stuff you order.

So why does this website remind of those Chinese-based clothing websites? Well, I ordered from a few and had the same exact experience as other shoppers at Fashion Nova. I put in an order, 2 items were out of stock, they sent 1 dress that took over 3 weeks to come. Dress looked nothing like images they had, cheap material, and the out of stock items in my order were given back to me as a store credit.

If you have tons of money to throw away on crappy ratchet-like clothing, this place is for you. Because at some point, the clothes are so cheap that youre going to throw it out and not care. But if you worked hard for your money, and skeptical about this website, I would avoid it at all costs. Good thing I read the websites policies and then read reviews here before buying. I almost scammed myself over some gimmicky shiny things I wanted. Also, some of these positive reviews look so fake.

International customers - stay away from FashionNova!
FashionNova values wrongly their pakages and you'll end up with paying twice as much for your order for duties and taxes! I've placed an order and used a discount voucher (which I received after complaing on a totally destroyed skirt). The discount was used and the total order was under the tax/duties limit I have in my country. What did FashionNova do? Fashion Nova priced the pracel for the customs for what it was worth before the discount. I was forced to pay 40$ in order to get the package from the postal office. In my good hope I wrote to FN support and asked them to to refund me the money I had to pay because of their mistake. What a shock it was to have received emails in a copy-paste form where they pretend that they don't know what I'm talking about! "Fashion Nova is not responsible for taxes and duties... and blah blah blah ". Dear Fashion Nova, Im not an idiot and I now that none of the stores is responsible for it and this is not something you need to lecture me about. You valued my package wrongly and refuse to take responsibility for that!

Email correspondation:

(...) As you can see in my order details I have used a your credit and ended up with 32,18$ to pay. This means I am under the 42$ duty/tax-free limit for purchasing goods from abroad to Norway. The thing that happened here is that on the package label - where the total value of the items is described - instead of 32,18$, you could read 84,67$, which is very wrong. It's like buying an item on sale or with a discount and than putting the original item value for the duties/tax calculation. Because of this mistake I had to pay 40$ in tax and duties in order to pick up the package. I was trying to get my money back from the import customs, but they refused as they said they calculated the amount correctly based on the value of the item provided by FashionNova.

I was not mentioning anything about how long the customs hold the package as this isn't a matter here. I don't need either to be educated about the duties and taxes in my country as I'm fully aware of when and how they apply - I'm shopping online from all over the world 5-10 times per month and I have never witnessed a situation like that!
Fashion Nova valued my package wrongly and due to that I was forced to pay duties and tax. The value of the package is what I paid for it - not what it costs before the discount. It can not be more logical.

Customer service horrible! They don't care about you!
First and foremost, I initially love Fashion Nova in terms of clothes and looks. HOWEVER, their customer service is disgusting. I live in Toronto, Canada and I am travelling soon to a hot destination so I've been ordering at least two items a week this November. I know it's probably much cheaper to buy it all at once, but I just started purchasing from Fashion Nova. I wanted to make sure that I actually receive my items instead of doing a big order and it being messed up. I recently ordered on November 8th 2016. I tracked the package and it reached Toronto on the 16th. Canada post sent it back due to incorrect address and I emailed Fashion Nova immediately. I told Fashion Nova I would pay an extra shipping cost for them to send the package directly back because I needed ASAP. Dominique responded and explained that Fashion Nova would reimburse me my money once they received the package and I'd have to re-order the items again or buy something else. (Please explain to me how that makes sense?) I need the items I don't want my money back. Plus i'm willing to pay a second shipping to get the exact same package that was nearly delivered. All they have to do is correct the postal code. She didn't respond to my second email for like a good 12 hours and so I sent a third one reminding her I'm awaiting her response. Then she emails me saying she can't reimburse the shipping cost?! I NEVER asked for any type of reimbursement. I asked for my package so clearly she's not even reading my emails. I told her that I was frustrated and that she's clearly not taking me seriously. Then she responded a minute later saying I'd have to re-order it again. It's frustrating that Fashion Nova customer service line is never answered. You have international buyers yet if an inconvenience happens they don't even care to address it properly. I guess us Canadians are better off going to the store itself because if their are any issues it will be resolved correctly. If your in the states I feel like Fashion Nova is great. International buyers beware!

Terrible customer service
On December 4th I placed an order of 5 lovely dresses for my nieces Christmas present. I didn't have my debit card with me so I used Apple Pay. Immediately after I realized my Apple Pay had my old shipping address.(I hadn't used Apple Pay in a while) I think to myself no problem, customer service should be able to fix this in no time so I email them immediately. I receive the automated response and then 3 days later I receive a copy and paste response stating that fashion nova cannot make any changes to the shipping address and that I would need to get in contact with Ontrac but also that I would have to wait until my order shipped out to do so. On December 12 I received an email stating my order had been shipped and was arriving the next day. I submitted 2 requests to ontrac within 2 consecutive days and both times there was a generated response that Fashion Nova needed to get approval from the sender. I call fashion nova customer support and after 32 minutes I get a real person. I explain to her that I need them to give approval to Ontrac to change my shipping address. She wasn't really understanding my situation and asked me to hold a total of 4 times. She finally told me that all she could do was send me an email stating that they approve the shipping address change but won't be paying any additional fees, which is fine because I would be more than happy to pay to actually receive my package. Now having this email, I call Ontrac. I waited 49 minutes and then decided to hang up. Next day, my package was delivered to my old address. I email fashion nova and get a automated response. I tell them I did not receive my package and I just want what I paid for since I tried very hard to fix the issue the minute it happened. It's been 3 different emails where I receive automated responses that don't have anything to with my situation. My last email to them was along the lines of I just really want the items I paid for and I need someone to email me without using copy and paste. 5 days later I have received nothing. It is December 28th.

Fashion Nova is all cool & favorited until...
Fashion Nova is all cool & nice until your package gets delayed, you need to return something, or you're trying to contact them. Customer service is HORRIBLE! No exaggeration. I had an order that was delayed like twice. I bought two birthday outfits early enough but did not get them on time because of the delays. I contacted them to see how I can return the item when it got here. It took me forever to get a hold of them. It got to the point where I had to call them as soon as Fashion Nova opened, and even then, I would be place on hold for a good thirty minutes. THIS makes NO sense at all. If I didn't call within the first hour or two, I would go to voicemail... even when they were open... After I got a hold of them they told me I could just "return the package back to its sender". I did this and y'all... two months passed... three months passed and I still did not get any refund for my items. I talked to a store representative to get my full refund instead of store credit and they said it was okay because I had no control over my delayed order. It took three months for them to send me back my money. And although they even promised the shipping money back too because I did pay fast shipping, they never sent it. I talked to MULTIPLE people that said they placed an order for me to get my full refund... They were all unprofessional and sounded so unsure & hesitant. The first did nothing, the second said he would do so but the third told me that person just gave me store credit which is not what I was promised. The third person hung up on me, and the fourth finally gave me a refund but promised that the shipping money would be back in my account within the week but that didn't happen. I just stopped contacting them after that. I gave up. For an order that was late on their part, an order that I sent back unopened, it took forever to just send me a full refund. Last time I will be shopping here. Getting my money back shouldn't have taken litterally 3 months!
