Federation Artisan Chocolate

I tried the 74% Dark Cacao with Roasted Tasmanian Hazelnuts at the Salamanca market a month ago & just loved it. It didn't take me long to place my order on-line & Federation Artisan Chocolate were delivered to my doorstep (in Melb) very promptly

I ordered several blocks of chocolate from Fedration Artisan Chocolate and Federation Artisan Chocolate arrived quite quickly, well before Christmas, as my wife and I want to present them to family members. Thanks Federation Artisan Chocolates!

Delivered on time for 2 happy Easter children, during COVID-19 lockdown. Beautiful chocolate eating experience. The package presentation was perfect for the occasion, and I would certainly use Federation chocolate again

I have had cause to visit the Victoria St premises several times in the last 2 months. This shop is so much closer to home than their Taranna premises! The main reason main for my visits? Their extraordinarily delicious Licorice Lane, with lumps of real licorice... heaven!
I branched out at Easter, ordering on line, and discovered the magnificent Salted Caramel with peanuts eggs (post Easter same superb flavour but in a truffle). Two days after placing my order I received a lovely email thanking me for my order. The eggs were delivered in person by Maurice... on Good Friday!).
I bought vegan truffles for a dear friend - rave reviews from her and her family.
On every occasion I have visited I have received friendly and helpful service from either Maurice or his wife (sincere apologies to her for not knowing her name). Despite their obviously long weeks Federation Artisan Chocolate are always ready with a smile and kind word.
I have been buying various truffles - SO many choices - as gifts and have been delighted by the responses from the various recipients.

Made just a few days before purchase, the chocolate was truly worth the cost (which isn't cheap). The sugar free dark chocolate is beautiful and doesn't have Federation Artisan Chocolate strong bitter aftertaste that usual dark chocolate does. It is incredibly smooth and irresistibly delicious. Moving on, the next to reach my palate was the creme brûlée fudge. Wow! This is great. You only get four bits in a packet, but that is all you need. It is delightfully rich without being overwhelming. The Turkish Delight came out next and was also very yummy! Last but not least the caramel nougat, which I couldn't stop going back for. I usually don't like sugary things, hence the sugar free dark chocolate, but this, my oh my, is the essence of my being. Thank you delicious magazine for leading me to this oasis. The great service was also an added bonus.

I found Federation Chocolate on a recent trip to Port Arthur and was very impressed by the litle talk and explanation about Artisan Choc produced and packaged here. The lay also stated she would not be packing any choc for delivery via post in the heat Tasmania was currently experiencing. Thoughtful and showed integrity and care about why their choc was special. I purchased on the day. When I returned home found the web site and sent an order. No issues with the web site easy to navigate and was very well presented. I received my ordered choc. In a timely manner, with no issues. I am lucky enough to be returning to Port Arthur in late May and I will be stopping again with a new travel companion who I am sure will enjoy the talk and the produce. Thank you for allowing me to babble... but it really is beautiful chocolate.

A colleague at work had a family member who brought them some chocolates, I tried the Honeycomb and was blown away by the taste and texture.

I decided that I would buy some for my wife and ordered the honeycomb, strawberry and salted caramel.

Each block of chocolate had amazing and differing levels of taste, my wife very much approves. Of the salted caramel where there is no over the top taste of salt, more smooth tones through out.

A day after I received the delivery I received an email from Maurice and I am truly impressed with the overall customer service and quality of the chocolate sold. I received the chocolates the next day!

I will definitely be ordering more and going to see their store in person!

I was fortunate enough to come across your chocolate whilst visiting the Salananca markets when I was on hols on Hobart. I sampled a few pieces of the dark chocolate and brought 3 blocks. I haven't been a big fan if dark chocolate in the past as I found it bitter. The person selling the chocolate told me about using cacao and I know about this as I use it in cooking. I tried the chocolate when I arrived home to Brisbane and loved it and wished i had purchased more. I remembered I was told I could purchase more online so I did. I purchased all dark chicolate but a few different varieties. I am looking forward to trying them. So glad I went to the markets and found discovered your chocolate.

Enjoyed chocolates I have tried so far. The choc honeycomb was a good product but maybe not for someone who grew up with bee hives... I found it too sweet for my crazy palate and ratio of choc to honeycomb was not right for me. Would have preferred smaller honeycomb pieces covered in choc. Moral of the story my fault for not examine and trusting picture. So far have tried two single choc balls... yummy and walnut choc... enjoyable but more walnuts would have excited me more.
The remainder sits in my fridge waiting for indulgent moments to arise.
When do we get more of the single box Chocolates?

As a result of the COVID19 pandemic I am unable to spend time with my grandchildren. I saw an advertisement for Federation artisan chocolates and was very taken by the variety available. I decided to send my daughter and her family some delicious chocolates for Easter. The website was easy to negotiate and I received a courteous reply to a request that I made on line. The chocolate only took a couple of days to come from Tasmania to Encounter Bay in south Australia. I'm looking forward to hearing what my daughter and son-in-law have to say about the chocolates because I must admit Federation Artisan Chocolate look delicious.

On a recent trip to Hobart I discovered Federation Artisan Chocolate. I was greeted my the owner and manufacturer, Maurice, whose passion and care in his product were immediately apparent. This followed on when I delightedly discovered that I could order more of the delicious produce online. Maurice was helpful, courteous and efficient in his dispatch. I am already halfway through this batch and look forward to enjoying many more. Hopefully Federation Artisan Chocolate will be stocked locally soon but if not it was definitely worth the postage.

Purchased on sunday - factory sent order Thursday - courier picked up order Thursday - kept order until Monday before handing in to Australia post - Australia post delivered order on Saturday / order was completely soft due to courier hanging on to order / lodged dispute with paypal / just 1 reply from federation offering discount on next order / will not take up the offer while Federation Artisan Chocolate have a courier who effectively adds 5 days to Australia posts 5 days, making a total of 10 days delivery - totally unacceptable /

What an amazing selection of products. Great Federation Artisan Chocolate are made in Australia and lots of attention to detail. There was something missing in my address and they didn't guess, they called me to ensure everything was correct and they also took into consideration the weather situation here to ensure the products arrived in good condition. The chocolate arrived very quickly, was well packed and though I haven't tasted it all i am very impressed with what i have tasted. Many thanks.

We had lovely personalised service when ordered afternoon tea at the factory. Unfortunately we had limited luggage space and couldn't take chocolate home on the plane. Federation Artisan Chocolate lovely woman suggested I order on line with free delivery over $50. Perfect opportunity for some special christmas present add ons.
They actually rang me to discuss delivery as the weather was super hot. Despite the weather delay I received everything just in time for Christmas. My family loved it.

I tried some samples at the Salamanca market and immediately bought three bars. I am a chocolate "nut" and have tried many, many types of chocolate. This is honestly the best chocolate I have ever had. I am back in the US now and am rationing my 1/4 remaining bar to little nibbles, it is that good. I have even looked into getting it shipped here but shipping cost ($50) is prohibitive. Federation, please consider selling on Amazon--you are the best chocolate ever!

We met Maurice and his family when we signed up to do the "meet the maker tour". Maurice was very generous with his time and answered all of our many questions. We were drawn into his magical world and enjoyed tastes of chocolate from different geographic origins and at different points of its development. There are dozens of amazing looking and delicious sounding chocolates to choose from - it was hard to know where to begin!

Our first experience with federation chocolates was at the Salamanca Markets in Hobart. The person on the market stall was very knowledgeable and as a result o the information we purchased a chocolate bar (No Added Sugar Dark Chocolate). We then ordered some o the chocolate online and the experience was very professional. Our chocolates have arrived and Federation Artisan Chocolate are delicious. Great product and good service!

The choccy was delivered promptly and in good condition (which was a Christmas miracle considering the heat we have in Sydney in summer).
Unfortunately it missed the secret Santa gift it was supposed to go in due to timing but now has been re-gifted so didn't go to waste. Good product, easy to order, no fuss process - would recommend this Tassie coy. Thanks guys.

I am a big fan of anything honeycomb related. I thought that your honeycomb would rate one of the best going around, however, it didn't live up to expectation. I felt the honeycomb was overcooked which gave it a slightly burnt taste when you eat, as such, there wasn't a rich honey flavour. The best honeycomb I've tasted is from Beechworth Honey, in Victoria.

Usually purchase my chocolate from the shop at Taranna or Salamanca market, but this is now proving difficult, so decided to order online. Very impressed as the ordering process was easy to follow and delivery was very quick. Will now continue 'stocking up' using this process.

Fast delivery, best tasting chocolate that I discovered many years ago on one of my many visits to Tasmania. I only recently found out I could order on line as the product is no longer available in South Australia. PLUS if you order more than $35 or so postage is free - BONUS!
