Garnet Hill

I accidentally double ordered an item. I immediately contacted them and Garnet Hill said there was nothing they could do the items already shipped. When in fact the items did not ship for a week after the order(s) were placed. They told me no problem just return it for a full refund. I returned the 2nd order. It has been two weeks since they received it back. I finally received an email from them that they have it. Please expect my refund in 2-3 weeks and they were deducting their shipping cost from the "full" refund. Not even sure what to say but I will not do business with them going forward.

Nice looking stuff but that's just to lure you in... liars are selling out of stock goods then putting authorized holds on credit cards so you can't cancel order despite no shipping estimates after 2 weeks of purchase (items were advertised as in stock) Beware of these hucksters. Garnet Hill don't have my order in stock they can't tell me when it will be in for shipping and when I cancel my order they won't give me a cancellation number they just give me a person's name because they say that they don't use cancellation numbers I have been trying for 12 days now to cancel a $350 order of bedding that they have charged me 4 and have yet to ship Despite their Website saying they do not charge your card until they ship. What day do do is place a hold authorization on your card for the full amount of the order So that they can still ship pieces of the order in drips and drabs after 30 days. Customer service can tell me nothing about my order they can only take orders. Customer service can't give me an estimated shipping date despite product being listed as in stock on the catalogue. All communications with representatives only yield 1st names so when you call back To tell them about a cancellation and say Kristen cancelled the order, you are Politely told there is no Christian that works there By that name. Is it any wonder Set they have 1.2 star Google review and a failing rating with the Better Business Bureau... All my emails requesting cancellations go unanswered As do any queries as to when the product will be in stock

I've found their products--shoes, bedding, etc. to be very good. I've never had a problem with an order, ever. I've returned items without hassle or problems. Wildly surprised by the miserable reviews here.

Endless junk mail! Once a week Garnet Hill send a full catalogue! I had to spend hours figuring out how to cancel. I had to call, send email... I finally got a confirmation from them and they said it would take 6 to 8 weeks for the catalogues to stop. It's been 4 months and I still get them. Now I am "mysteriously" on an extra junk mail list for Sundance. They ALWAYS go straight to recycling. I will never order from them again. Super annoying.

I have shopped Garnet Hill for more than 15 years. While at times some items have not met my quality standards, I feel it has not been any more frequent than any other online/catalog retailer. I have been very pleased with bed and bath items, which have exceeded my expectations. I normally purchase name-brand clothing from Garnet Hill. The Garnet Hill brand clothing I have purchased has been good overall, and I have always had success with the kids clothes. I rarely purchase items from Garnet Hill that are full retail and usually wait until sale or clearance. Overall I am pleased and will continue to shop this site.

I've recently purchased a sweater, dresses, earings and shorts. All are beautiful and feminine. Love all of my buys.

I was about place my first an over 1000 $ order and wasn't sure should I trust the company I never work with so It took a couple weeks for me to make a decision. First I was trying to get discount 30% off if you will invite a friend and found out that your friend should spent over100$ and then you will get discount, then I was trying to get 15%off if you will sign up for newsletters which I did with none result again, a birthday deal didn't work either, and then here I am calling to Customer service and first representative hanging on me after 1 minute. And then I am searching "Garnet hill" reviews. All my situation and reading bad reviews after that gave me realization that I never would buy anything from GH. I love stuff on website but hate their customer service and tricky games with "discounts".

I like to buy sheets that are not pre packaged because I like a bigger top sheet. When I opened the package from Garnet Hill, full fitted bottom, king size top sheet and 2 sets of pillow cases, standard and king, and unwrapped each item, it was apparant that each piece was a slightly different dye lot. While the differerences were subtle, Garnet Hill were clearly apparant. What I find most distressing, is that pillow cases packaged together did not match. Clearly Garnet Hill seems to be indifferent to the quality of products sent out. I have made my last purchase with this company.

Placed this order, but from the looks of what I received, that is exactly what was sent to me. I am very unhappy withthis merchandise.

I placed an order on November 7th and have waited patiently for the order to arrive only to get an email today, December 8th, that caused me to scratch my head. The email reads "Thank you for your recent order. We are sorry that you needed to return the item. The following credit has been applied to your order. If the credit is for a returned item, it is detailed below. If you have ordered exchange items, these will be shipped as soon as Garnet Hill are available. Please allow 3-5 business days for your credit card company to process your credit."

I immediately called them to find out what the heck this email was about since I'd never even received the item, much less wanted to return it. The woman I spoke with tells me that the order was basically canceled because they didn't have a street name for the shipping address. This baffles me since I created an account through their website, where my street address is clearly listed, and if by chance I didn't put the name of my street in the address field (possible I guess), why would it take one month to hear anything from the company?

Well, after speaking with a completely clueless supervisor, I find out that my order was shipped out (despite not having a street name?) and then returned to sender because... yep, no street name. So what does the company do? They take my order and basically sell it to someone else. By the time I get an email about how sorry they are that I "needed to return the item," and subsequently call to find out what's going on, they are sold out of the item and I'm SOL. Awesome. Good job guys. I don't feel like I can shop at a place that I can't trust to do right by their customers. They had all of my info through my account, they had an email address... c'mon guys!

I ordered from Garnet Hill and THEN read the reviews on this site. I am glad I did it in that order or I would have missed out on the most exquisitely soft and beautiful flannel bedding I have ever had the pleasure to touch. I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about. I ordered and within 5 days received my shipment except for one item that I knew at time of ordering would be delayed. The rest arrived promptly and had a return label right inside, which I immediately threw away. Seriously, these are the kind of flannel sheets that are thick and brushed on both sides. Garnet Hill are extremely high quality. They will wear beautifully just like other high quality sheets, getting even better with age. They are in the washing machine right now and I can't WAIT to put them on the bed tonight. The colors and patterns are absolutely gorgeous. Don't go by the negative reviews. These sheets are amazing!
