Save yourself the headache and go somewhere ANYWHERE else. These people are dishonest and GetDivorcePapers do not care about you at all. Not only do they lie about what they will charge you, but their customer service is so rude and blatantly unhelpful. First off, it is NOT $139 like they advertise. It was $182.93 and they ALSO don't mention there is a time frame to finish paperwork as (ALSO it is Waaaaayyyyy more than 30 mins to finish the questionnaire). If you don't finish within a month it will automatically "renew" you for not one but TWO fees. A $37.99/mo auto-renew to be a member and if you don't renew you will not have any access to your completed divorce forms Your account will be disabled. You will not be able to receive assistance from your designated caseworker. You will not be able to make changes to your forms and another $21.99/mo fee to be able to view/edit and/or complete your questionnaire. So, I quickly finished my questionnaire just in time. The next dishonest thing they do is when you finish forms there is NO OTHER OPTION, but to select this expedited form "option" for $91.75 EXTRA! It would not accept until I had selected this "option. PLUS $31.98 to ship the forms. After I selected this "option" the NEXT screen that you can't get to says you can get forms shipped for free without expedition! Just unbelievable. I live-chatted (again) and said I would like the free shipping "option" and they said I was not eligible for a refund. Seriously? Just the amount of dishonesty is through the roof. I then receive another email the day after I finished that I needed to log in and review my forms and they WOULD NOT ship until I had done reviewed the forms and confirmed I had done this. I had disabled my account so I would not get charged again, so disabling means I cannot view it. You see what they did there? They truly expected me to pay just to view my forms. Such a rip-off! I live-chatted with someone and said just ship my forms so they said it would be 3-5 business days. It has been 7 business days since I was told that. When I live-chatted again they were extremely rude. No explanation and started calling me Ma'am at the end to be extra rude like"Ma'am, your forms have been mailed out... like go away we don't care that we have not done what we said we would. How is almost 10 business days expedited at all? Please do NOT give them any more business. They are crooks. I paid about $310 NOT $139 and if I hadn't canceled their auto-renew they don't tell you about I would have paid $370. I HATE LIARS!

I have been going back and forth with my bank disputing these charges. I sent in several disputes to Getdivorcepapers with no answer or follow up. I never got any paperwork as GetDivorcePapers never completed them, I still have not got an answer on my refund. Now all I get is I cant request one because it has been over 60 days even though I requested it within the time frame with no response. Now I am out 144 dollars and still had to pay and find another option for my documents as this company never fulfilled the services they "guarantee". I will be submitting a fraud request to the better business bureau as well. I never got the service that they took the money for.

The site was easy to use, and that was pretty much the only positive thing about this experience.

I tried to call them (during office hours) but GetDivorcePapers were closed. I emailed them and they were then able to write back and say that they would ship my documents.

Almost a month later, still no paper work. I emailed and they didn't email back. I chatted with them on the site and they let me know that the documents were never shipped.

I told them I was very disappointed and that this was terrible service and that they were very hard to reach. And they didn't seem to care.

Stay away.

GetDivorcePapers shamelessly take advantage of their clients. Their check out website was set up in way that one cannot easily move to the next page without agreeing for a rush order for an extra $91. I immediately called them to cancel this rush order and was told that the request was placed and I will be reimbursed in a couple of weeks. My papers were received in about 10 days ( not a rush order time frame). When I called 4 weeks later I was told that my request for a refund was denied with no reasons provided. Customer service is trained to behave like robots with no consideration. They do not offer a solution, refuse to transfer to a supervisor.

So I am writing my review here. It seems like the reviews they have on their web site are FAKE!

First off the price was not what GetDivorcePapers claimed it would be. There are extra fees to have papers shipped, to expedite review of forms. Secondly, They were not helpful when I had questions. The forms were not filled in correctly even though I had input my information correctly. It took weeks just to even get my forms ready to ship even though I paid for expedited review. I had to call and talk to multiple people multiple times to get anything done. As far as shipping out my paperwork, I had to request multiple times as each time they never had a record of me requesting form to be shipped. Not worth the money. There are other sites, use those.

This company must have paid for reviews, because this is a scam. Their website looks very professional and GetDivorcePapers were quick to take my money, however...
I started this incredibly difficult process in Oct. 2017. It is now the end of December and they have not sent me any paperwork. When I called a month ago to complain, they said they would ship the paperwork with 3-5 business days. That was a month ago. Today I called asking for a refund and they said I was not eligible because the paperwork has been processed and they would be sending it to me within the next 3-5 business days. They refused to refund me. Every time Ive called, Ive spoken to the same 2 people, who claim to be in Delaware, really?
Unfortunately theres nothing I can do but understand that they took my money and the company is a shell for doing just that. Please, if you are going through something so emotional, just use a local REAL attorney. So sad.

I wish I had read the reviews BEFORE I gave them my money. You will pay $139.00 just for filling out the online questionaire. If you want the paperwork mailed to you, that is an extra $39.00 (not made clear) GetDivorcePapers try to charge extra for EVERYTHING and they don't include the costs to file it in the courts. They are so bad I walked away from my $179.00 to take my business elsewhere. I told them I did not plan on using their service and they refused to even reimburse the mail fee (I never went as far as having them mail anything) Here is the response I received when I asked for the shipping to be refunded since I was not using their service. Check out all the incorrectly spelled words! SCAM!

The only reason why I used this service without simply filling out the paperwork myself was because GetDivorcePapers guarantee 100% court approval or your money back. While preparing files when I contacted them the reply from Angelina Parker, The Director of Support Services, was very unprofessional but I didn't care much of it because she answered the question. But when the papers were rejected from the court and I contacted the GetDivorce, I didn't receive a reply until I finally emailed saying that I will file a consumer report. Angelina responded with just one line in a very unprofessional email to send a copy of the forms received and the money will be refunded. I sent the packet and again no replies for many emails after that. I had the court date last week and the judge rejected the "Marital Settlement Agreement" as well. I sent a final email to Angelina with a update and contacted consumer reports. Do not waste your money and time. This could be a very good service but obviously it is as horrible as it can get. Who has the time or energy waste on having to deal with people like this. Hope this review will save you!

Starts off saying 139, then throws in a 8.95 processing fee, then another 30 to print on special paper that courts are more likely to accept. Then you're told it will be 5 to 10 business days, or for another 89 the forms will be ready tomorrow. And the tiny little line that informs you there is no guarantee that the courts will accept any of the forms. Save your money and time. All the forms and instructions for filing you need can be downloaded for free from your governments website. Fill them out, get them notarized (which you still need to do using this service), make the necessary copies (which you will still need to do using this service), take them to the courts and pay to file them (which you will still need to do using this service). Just save yourself a month of waiting and close to $200 to put towards court filing costs, which you will still need to pay using this service.

GetDivorcePapers use forms that are downloaded for free from the state, Then just fill them out. Took over a month for them to fill out the forms. Was not satisfied asked for refund was told no since I downloaded the forms, but it is the only way to see them. Since they were not giving me a refund I said that I needed corrections to the forms. Month later I still do not have the corrected forms. No one answers emails or phone calls. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I started the process did the questionnaire was told my stuff was under review. After that I decided that I did not want the service. I requested that my service be canceled and asked for a refund. GetDivorcePapers refused a refund told me that because I filled the questionnaire out that I did not rate a refund unless the courts rejected the paperwork. I did not receive any paperwork or anything and it was awaiting review. I asked for there not to be a review and to issue a refund, so now they didnt review it and there is an option to download the paperwork which I still did not do all i want is my money back for a service that I do not want. So I paid nearly $200 for answering a questionnaire. It is a complete sham I would not suggest ever using this.

GetDivorcePapers sent me invalid paperwork that took them two times to get right and then it wasn't correct. Took them to the court house and found that they had removed 7 small words from the bottom of the page that read "this form is available for free at"... their refund policy states That I need proof, a letter... the court house said they don't provide letters like that. If they provided a letter for every scam they would be writing letters all day long. When I did receive the correct paperwork from the courthouse and was transferring the info, we found some major mistakes on the forms GDP.com sent. Their forms don't match the states forms and the paperwork from the courthouse was less than half of what GDP.com sent me. Getting an answer is extremely difficult and because of broken English it's hard to understand. Plus they will just up and hang up on you... my case worker was no help and rarely answered my questions or didn't know the answer. Plus they want an extra hidden cost... they charge shipping cost in order for you to get your papers... no pay, no papers

Very professional process. I was dreading this entire ordeal, as it has been something that has lingered unresolved for a long time... shortly after being married I was deployed and although we remained married, we never lived together again. I think I always held on to us truly starting our marriage but after all of this time, you are helping me actually start my life. Very easy process... I am very happy with this entire online divorce process and recommend to anyone!.

Very poor service. My dad purchased this to get his divorce done, and then immediately had a widow maker heart attack that he was lucky to survive, but then while in hospital he was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Since then, I've taken over his affairs as PoA, and am getting everything in order. While trying to get his forms filled out properly (the first time his paperwork was rejected by the court), I found that it wouldn't update to save and download. I contacted my case worker, I called, I did chat... Nobody could get it worked out and get me my proper paperwork. The website legitimately does not work properly. It is a broken service. A tried and true scam.

That's when I started asking for a refund. Because it was after 60 days, GetDivorcePapers said no refund. I have piles of paper of proof that he was in the hospital near death, and his soon to be ex-wife has the rejection letter but wont answer my calls.

I find it to be a little ridiculous that they couldn't give me the product as they promise it, but then skirt any responsibility and tell you essentially to get lost when it comes time to cash in on the 100% Money Back Guarantee.

I just ponied up and got a payment plan going with a lawyer now to handle it for my dad, so he doesn't have to die married to a woman who was awful to him during his life.

Shame some companies and people have no compassion for fellow humans. This would be one of those companies.

Everything went smoothly at first, they're responsive to questions though their case agents are kind of non-communicative. Got my papers however please note that GetDivorcePapers are actually secretly a subscription service. They will attempt to charge you 50$ a month :O they also will attempt to charge you $187 if you want to cancel. This is NOT made clear before hand. Also note that reviews are asked before you finish the process (I. E. before You're even aware of the hidden side. This is artfully done. Notice the amount of reviews that say, "so far".) also when receiving papers from the company they were completely out of order and took me a long time to sort out. Be careful

I figured that I would try a do it yourself divorce since my ex and I have nothing together. It seemed to be work fine until my judgement was thrown out because some forms were incomplete and done wrong by this service. I contacted their live chat to try and fix it and was told to contact *******@getdivorcepapers.com and that GetDivorcePapers would help me fix and complete the forms so I can get this divorce over with, I was told that it could take a couple of hours and someone would get back to me, needless to say that was April 7,2017 and no one has yet to respond not to mention that I emailed them again on April 14,2017 and no response. I have had to go to a real lawyer now to have my divorce completed the correct way. I would like a full refund, but I see that they have a 90 day disclaimer which is worthless when it takes at least 6 months to have a divorce completed.

I believe these guys are from India as the CSR was. Pay attention to the negative reviews not the positive most likely fake ones.

Wish I had read through a bit more of the reviews before spending $140 for this service but suddenly when an additional $31 popped up on my credit card, I started looking through more and again and again the negative reviews are the same experience. I wonder if the positive reviews are even real.

Anyways while filing out the information it seemed like more work than the official documents I received from the court which was my first suspicion. That paperwork was actually pretty easy to fill out but I wasn't sure so I signed up for this site for an "easier process". FIRST MISTAKE.

There were additional documents that I needed so I asked a CSR about them and GetDivorcePapers said I had filled out the information in the Interview section. No I didn't, they didn't ask the necessary questions to fill this paperwork out, I also received this from the court so I know that the information they were telling me was 100% incorrect. SECOND MISTAKE.

They also said the paperwork would take 3-10 business days rather than immediate like some of the other services, you dont find this information out until after you pay and after you fill out the paperwork but for $89 they'll do it immediately. THIRD AND FINAL MISTAKE.

Called up and could barely understand the CSR I doubt I'll get the paperwork after reading through some of these one star reviews and am weary that it will even go through. They kept saying if its denied because I didn't have it on legal paper they wouldn't be responsible. The court didn't give me legal paper, but they did give me paperwork where their address was pre-stamped. Total nightmare/headache. I'm out of $170 because I fell for this scam of a web site. For $400-$500 more I could have just hired a lawyer to do the paperwork or for $0 do it myself.

I did a charge back dispute
After yet again attempting to get my papers fixed finished useable and was not successful you keep getting extorted to open an account to work papers... GetDivorcePapers provided tracking to the shipping of photo copied work that was incomplete and not useable. In doing so they established they delivered something my bank took that money back from me and paid those a holes

Fact: I did not rescieve my work product complete and ready to file
Fact: I did not get my work product sent overnight for my 34.95 it came a week after they sent it. That is not overnight
Fact: you have to purchase an extension pack to have access to your work product to make changes
Fact: it does not get finished over night in two days or even a week. You have to fill in forms yourself. No personal interview
You have to have your forms reviewed and approved up to three weeks
And you have to Check your e mail for reviewers response whenever they get to it all while that thirty day window is Closeing on your account then you have to renew your account to access and finish your paperwork. GO pay a paralegal locally or just file the docs from your local courthouse these docs they use you can download for free and they will tell you how to do it you will be better off and you won't have some rude guy in Jersey hang up on you Or call you stupid or be flagrant. Hope you guys get if your divorce involves property kids or unique issues. GET a Lawyer if your just someone with none of that a simple shake off. Full out your own paper as do it don't pay these people they don't care and they won't help they aren't lawyers

It has been 6 days since I spoke with anyone called today 6/8/2021 and asked where my papers was at? As you can see 24-48 hours is NOT 6 days later. If i pay for services then I expect HONESTY not to be lied to. Worst experience I have ever had and this is why I either screen shot, and or request transcripts, of any and all conversation I have with anyone. Wish I would of just kept my money and put it towards a real Lawyer.

Just as I suspected. GetDivorcePapers emailed me through this site and asked for my initial review to be deleted while they worked on my situation. Do you think they made good on getting me the remainder of my paperwork? Nope but I wasn't surprised in the least. I haven't wasted my time calling them back just to be lied to again and again. PLEASE stay away from these thieves! They will TAKE your hard earned MONEY and not provide you the material you paid for. GetDivorcePapers.com is a SCAM AND RAN BY A BUNCH OF LYING THIEVES!
