These guys are ridiculous, I ordered a 2017 ZL1 upper and lower grille on their website and it calculated the total shipped to my house and I accepted and placed the order on 06/29/2018 and then on 07/10/2018 I get an email saying " We have received your grilles from GM and we realize that we have to send them in 2 boxes so if you would like to continue with the order than we will have to charge you an extra $46 to ship them to you, if not we can cancel the order " I got upset and I replied back and let them know as a customer going on a website and placing a purchase and it gives you a total based on your shipping address I don't feel as the customer I should pay the extra $46 a week and a half later you realize that you now need 2 boxes. I told them cancel my order and then 15 mins later I emailed them back and said this is horrible service but I am on crunch time and just process it and GMPartsDirect never even replied back, just canceled the order and that was it. I really hope someone reads this over there and sees how horrible and pathetic their service is, I went and called gmpartsonline.net and they took my order with great customer service verifying part numbers.

Poor service and High Shipping Costs
GMPartsDirect asked for the VIn and still sent the wrong part and then wouldn't take a return even though I didn't removed it from packaging. Tried to tell me I made the mistake. Shipping costs $14 for an item the size of a the of an egg. I went to Amazon and found the part for $7 less and with free shipping. Don't use them; they suck. I was trying to establish a parts place for my small shop but won't use them ever again. Buyer beware. I'll leave a BBB review as well.

Let's argue with the Customer After making a mistake?
For the life of me I will never figure out how companies can put the blame on customers and think it is fine. I ordered parts, 1 Part out of stock and NO ETA, GMPartsDirect emailed me to let me know and I responded to credit my account then and ship the rest of the products. They charged the full amount for the entire order, never responded to return my funds for the item they could not get. All I got was arguments going back with emails to their CUSTOMER SERVICE people, And I use this phrase extremely loosely, then they tell me I never had an order, then I get an email saying they told me there was a 3-5 day delay (Which I never received). So I guess one person says I never had and order and the others say I did but they there was never an issue with getting the part to me? It seems to me that this outfit does not have their stuff together. I was Harassed on emails for a while and finally told them they better cool it with their "Cover your rear end" policy. That does not fly with me and I am sure not with many others. I write lots of very positive reviews usually, But very few Bad one's. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but this company is a JOKE!
So Ordered June 16th today is the 21st, No Parts, NO Order? I had my Credit Card company Dispute any charges, They sure do not know what to do, And here we are.

Never got the parts, no one answers phones. Or the VM's they ask you to leave
Total hacks, take the money and run, there phone just rings and rings, and than tell you to leave a VM and than never respond

On October 28,2019 I ordered a crankshaft from gmpartsdirect, which is owned and operated by Flow Buick GMC of Winston-Salem, for $190.63 plus shipping, totaling $221.81. According to the website, orders generally ship within 3 business days. If the items are not in stock, the website says that the items would ship in 3-7 days. Upon placing my order, nothing was stated that the item was not in stock. On the 3rd day, December 31,2019, I called to enquire as to when my order would ship. I was informed that due to recent GM Strike, that my order would ship late. I Asked if I would receive my order by Friday, November 9,2019, and I was informed that I would not, I was also informed that I should see if I could purchase my part locally. I agreed and requested a refund. The representative said no problem and our conversation ended. I received another phone call shortly after from gmpartsdirect. I was left a voice mail stating that I would be charged a 35% restocking fee for canceling my order. I immediately called back and was told the same thing. I asked the representative how could I be charged for a restocking fee of an item that GMPartsDirect don't have in stock?! I was told that once an order is placed, they have to charge the restocking fee upon cancellation. I was told that it would take about a month to get the part, so GM had not shipped the item to the dealership yet! So why am I being charged for something that hasn't even been shipped out yet!?

Horrible customer service
Tried to return a part that was never installed. I tried multiple times using the sites instructions for returns and never received a return authorization and never received a reply. Horrible customer service. I will never purchase from again. STAY CLEAR!

Screwed by gm parts direct
I purchased four items from this company for more than $350.00. One of the gm eom parts I received was defective. The parts chrome was peeling and was a piece of junk! That same day I received it I requested a return shipping label so I could replace it. It was refused. I tried calling but GMPartsDirect will not answer but the recording refers to online customer service. There is no communication at all. I asked legitimate questions, politely. It is their choice to lose my business over $98.00, now it is my choice to tell gmpartsdirect to stop soliciting my business via email. Gmpartsdirect has photos of the damage.

Better shopping local
I ordered a bezel latch for my Z71 console-- AND paid for 2 day shipping. I received an email stating order processed and N/A for ETA--WTF? The part was $21.74 and 2 day shipping brought it to $59+ Since their website has no way of checking on status I emailed and called, leaving a message. Meanwhile I called my local Chevy dealer- GMPartsDirect could get the latch in next day with no additional cost and part was only $35 including tax.
When GMPD called me back I asked how to find out if it was being shipped and ETA-- and was rudely told "you only ordered it a day ago-we have to order it and when we receive it, your TWO DAY shipping begins". SERIOUSLY?
I said cancel it at that time, called the local dealer back and got a call the next morning that the part was already in! If we could give negative stars we would!

Customer Service does not Exist!
Tried calling at least 20 times was able to get through once and talk to a live body. However, I was told that GMPartsDirect would send a return form via my email which they seemed to see in their system; however, nothing was ever sent. I have sent them two emails providing the invoice information and my phone and email again, but no response. The return form on their site is not available via a browser. There is a link, but it somehow switches to a feedback page. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PROVIDING GOOD SERVICE.
