I have been letting them buy me a mani/pedi or a new pair of shoes every few months for 7 years now. InboxDollars pay like they say they will. I don't bother with the surveys and I only sign up for offers that i truly have a need for but still get a check every 2-3 months for $3o. I don't get that many outside emails because of them because I don't abuse the system to try to get every penny I can out of them by signing up for things I do not want.

Is this a way to earn money to make a living! OF COURSE NOT! If you want to earn a living, get out there and work. But this is definitely a way to get yourself a treat every once in a while.

Inbox dollars sends about 20 emails a day. All you really have to do is click the link and let the new page load to earn 2 cents. That takes you about 2-3 months (depending on how many offers you REALLY do want to do) to earn the $30 payout. If you aren't signing up for every offer they have, the "spin off emails" are minimal.

I will continue to allow them to make money off my minimal little click for each email and give me a little in return for another 7 years I am sure.

Please don't think you are ever going to earn enough money to pay your bills and make ends meet sitting at your computer for minimal effort. That is how you get yourself scammed and bogged down in useless emails. Most surveys are ways to just get info from you and most of them are going to tie you up for 30-45 minutes then say you don't qualify. So use that time look for a job instead and stop wasting it sitting in front of the computer trying to get something for nothing.

I wish you all the best! Hope you do decide to try inbox dollars for what it was intended for and enjoy your little treat a few times a year for your efforts.

Undecided
I stumbled on this survey website. I like that I can get gift cards at this time of year because InboxDollars are great stocking stuffers. I'm undecided about the various "slaps on the hand" which comes in the form of a notice that you are cheating, going too fast, or lying of all things. That seems strange but after you have seen the notice a few times you become paranoid "like, what did I say/type?" AND sometimes that little notice pops up before you type a word into the system stating you were dishonest/going too fast/cheating. How can I get a notice when all I did was click into the survey? Can you read my mind? It's just weird! Then when offers don't work and you have to ask support for assistance. Instead of providing assistance they do whatever is easiest to close the ticket even if that means you get CENTS back in stead of the DOLLARS the offer advertised. Wouldn't it have been more customer friendly to send a little email stating "you entered CENTS, please redo and add 2 zeros without punctuation for DOLLARS". Just a little education to us new folks. Anyway, I'm getting gift cards which is what I wanted. LOVE that aspect of the surveys. The rest is frustrating because your integrity is called into question OR you get "punished" for not knowing how to fill out a support form correctly. I'm retired. I just do these to pass time. I do; however, love the gift cards because my family loves to get them for whatever occasion it is. So, you just have to let the other stuff roll off your back and keep plugging away for those gift cards. Because in my case gift cards = happy family with big smiles on their special days. That's all.

Site has deteriorated beyond recognition
I spent over 5 years answering surveys, slowly accumulating cash at an average of 25 to 50 cents per survey, NEVER the $5 that their constant emails promised.
During the Pandemic I had more time—and less work—so I took more surveys. I filled out many, many time-wasting surveys which asked a lot of repetitive, random questions, bounced me from page to page asking the same questions again, then disqualified me. Even with a lot of time on my hands, I don't like wasting it—and not having my time respected.
Many surveys make you prove you're not a robot, which is fine, but then ask repetitive questions and disqualify you anyway.
I didn't feel like InboxDollars valued my time any more, as increasingly survey disqualified me after these lengthy question settings.
They're big on asking random questions, about hobbies or favorite experiences—again, fine as long as they don't disqualify randomly. Which happened more and more. I entered this in answer to their questions, and they disqualified me permanently from surveys, saying "Surveys aren't for you." I don't understand why they can't ask the disqualifying questions first, before wasting out time, and respect our time the way they expect us to respect theirs.

Inbox Dollars might not be a TOTAL scam, but one thing...
Inbox Dollars might not be a TOTAL scam, but one thing cannot be denied. That is the company lacks ethical business practices and let's just call it what it is: steals from its subscribers. It appears as if InboxDollars randomly screw subscribers with no set rhyme or reason. Thus allowing for a lot of positive reviews from persons that have not had the "honor" of being singlehandedly picked to be their resident "CHUMP". Or better yet their subscriber "CHUMP". Let me regale you with MY experience with Inbox Dollars, speaking as one of their subscriber/resident "CHUMPS".

Besides the ridiculous system used for qualifying a subscriber for a survey, it is not unusual to spend 30 minutes completing a survey and when it is almost completed, you get disqualified. DISQUALIFIED? Are you serious? Not only have I been picked as an Inbox Dollar "CHUMP" but now they are insulting my intelligence. I know when my data is collected and the company is weaseling out of keeping up their end of, the bargain and crediting the payout to my account. Or, they will pull this stunt……spend 30 minutes on a survey and right when you get to the part that states we are almost through, the remaining questions are for demographic purposes……then BAM, POOF, the survey disappears, the survey website I was transferred to in order to complete survey, shuts down. (No, it is not a computer problem on my end). It does not shut down at the beginning or middle, but at the very end. The survey cannot be brought back up, you did not get to complete it, so again, they get their information and you get ZERO. When I complained, I was told whichever company was having server problems and they would notify them immediately. Did I get my payout? NO Can I get my payout? NO. Even though the customer service rep can tell I completed the survey and that it shut down on me. Oh well, too bad, so sad. Better luck next time. Well, now, Inbox Dollars is sinking to a new low……. Yes, it gets better….

I have almost reached my $30.00 cash out amount. When I reached $28.00, all of a sudden I started getting integrity reprimands. Basically accusing me of lying on the surveys and/or my personal information, not reading the survey questions and just answering quickly…. Etc. To add, insult to injury, everyone associated with Inbox Dollars knows they never run out of surveys. You might not qualify for any of them but as far as running out of surveys to get disqualified from…. It doesn't happen. They have approximately 5-7 survey companies set up for their subscribers to use to find surveys. Well, now, all of a sudden when I attempt to do a survey, I get shut down Immediately, not with "we're sorry you did not qualify" but "WE, HAVE RUN OUT OF SURVEYS. CHECK BACK WITH US LATER". (Which I do. Same song and dance). Now, I do not get this ridiculous response from just one of their 6 or so survey companies, BUT EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. Mysteriously, they have all run out of surveys at the same time! Are you kidding Me?

CAVEAT: Inbox Dollars is as unethical as a company can get. Or well on their way. If you sign up with them it is as simple as a roll of the dice. Are you going to be the lucky one who they decide not to put the screws to or are you going to be the lucky one randomly chosen to be, their resident chump? Providing them with free, STOLEN service……in any event, if you end up being on the receiving end and have nothing but wonderful things to say about Inbox Dollars, just remember it will only be a matter of time before you win the "RESIDENT CHUMP" title and find yourself with all of us prior "RESIDENT CHUMPS". Consider yourself educated. It is your choice.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add my experience with payouts and respond to another post about not getting paid on surveys. I have encountered the SAME problem. Especially with the offers that require you to sign up with a particular vendor. Let me just put it to you this way. If I had received the payout I was promised on every company I signed up with, and whatever other hurdles I had to maneuver to receive payout, I would have reached my $30.00 payout or close to it just from that option. Out of all the ones I have completed, and it has been a lot, I have only received payout on 2. Yes, 2! And those payouts were when I was a newbie and had just signed up to, the service. USE CAUTION. It just amazes me that Inbox Dollars consistently continues to get such wonderful top 5 reviews. Hopefully y'all's experience will be a great one and you will not be scammed. The odds are in your favor initially. All I can say is my experience has been unscrupulous, unethical……and false advertising. However, by hitting you with integrity reprimands, it covers them on disqualifications and no available surveys. Upon complaint, it will be turned around on the complainer. Survey Disqualification occured because you lied on this or rushed through on that. No surveys available, again, can be turned around on the subscriber. Their are no surveys available because our vendors do not want you doing their surveys because…. WHY? You continue to provide erroneous information. Or you rush thru the survey, it reading the questions and just hitting any response button. See where I am going with this? They have it figured out. A no consequence way to lie, cheat and steal.

Do you need extra cash at your home, on your computer?
Do you need extra cash at your home, on your computer? Too old to work, or just want some extra cash? Try Inboxdollars! Inboxdollars is a website where you can earn cash for completing survey's, reading e-mails, playing games, and more!

My InboxDollars Review

Remember, this website is NOT a get rich site. It just gives you extra cash from doing daily activities. When you sign up, you get an instant $5.00 credited to your account which is nice of them, showing there appreciation. These are the activites you can earn cash from and I will describe them all: Offers, Surveys, Games, Easy Cash, Search, Videos, Deals, Refer Friends, Radio, Shopping, Toolbar, Spin & Win, PaidEmails, and Sweepstakes.

Offers

You can complete offers provided by companies that are willing to pay for signing up and other things. Some of these offers require a credit card, and may ask for you to buy something. If you just want free offers, hover over 'Offers' and click "100% Free Offers!" Then you will find all these offers free. All of these offers require a valid E-mail address, and you WILL get junk mail, so I'd suggest to make another E-mail to make the junk go there. Once you completed the requirements for the offer, you will get your cash you have earned in less than 45 minutes.

Surveys

You can earn cash for completing surveys too! All you need to do is find a survey that fits you, and these surveys vary the money by the time. About $1.25 surveys are about 30 minutes, but can be faster by how fast you are. Just keep finding surveys, but remember, you WILL get disqualified for ALOT of them. Just keep doing them and you will find some that fits you. You can earn the cash from the surveys within 15 minutes - 45 minutes. Very rarely, it can be 2 weeks, if that suspect things on your account.

Games

The 'Games' portion of the website is not what you might think; you don't earn cash for playing FREE games. InboxDollars redirects you to worldwinner/GSN, and you have to pay to play, and you can win money from those games, but you earn cashback on Inboxdollars. I do not recommend 'Games' unless you play cash games on WorldWinner.

Easy Cash

You can earn money for completed tasks! It will require you to bookmark something called 'Bookmarklet' so InboxDollars can track your progress. These tasks are not hard to do, they just ask you to search something, and to click the 'Bookmarklet' so they know you actually searched it. You can earn up to $0.06, but you usually earn $0.04 each task.

Search

You can also earn cash for searching! Search recipes, games, anything to earn cash. You can earn up to $0.15 a day, but InboxDollars staff has to make sure the searches you make are legitimate, not random numbers/letters.

Videos

One of the worst ways to earn cash. You earn $0.01 every time you watch a 30 second video, and can only watch about 3 videos a day.

Deals

You can print coupons/groupons and use them at stores, and when you use them at the store it says, you can earn even more cashback. These coupons take from 1-2 weeks before they are added to your account.

Refer Friends

This is a great part of the website. Refer friends to make even more cash, for you and your friend! You earn 10% of what EACH of your friends earn, which is really good if you have a lot of friends.

Radio

This is a fun and simple way to earn cash, but not very efficiently as you may think. You earn $0.01 about every 10 minutes for listening to music, and the genre's can be top 40, rock and roll, jazz etc. About every 10 minutes, a box will pop up on your computer asking you to input the code it says so they know you are there and not away. After you enter the code, it takes 10-30 minutes for the cash to be deposited into your account. You can earn as much as you want! No limits.

Shopping

You can earn cashback from your favorite stores such as Wal-Mart, Kroger, Target, K-mart, etc. Depends, you can earn 2-20 percent of what you buy. Remember, it has to be bought online. The coupons are for you to go to the store in real life.

Toolbar

Once you download the toolbar, you instantly earn $1.00 into your account, and you can search with the toolbar, track your PaidEmails, track your Earning, how you earned the money, and checking if you have new surveys, and on occasion you can find FREE spin and win spins.

Spin & Win

You can earn Spins by completing surveys, and earn them even if you get disqualified! You can spin 20 times a day, and can only have 100 saved spins total. The rewards are: $0.05 cash bonus, $1.00 cash bonus, $5.00 cash bonus, 1 and 5 sweepstake tickets, Survey Tokens, and 'No win' rewards. You don't win anything for 'No win'. The '$1.00' and '$5.00' rewards are scams and you cannot get those whatsoever. But you can get the other cash bonus, the $0.05 fine. You can earn a survey token, then on the next survey you completed, not disqualifed, you earn an EXTRA $0.25 + the amount you would originally earn.

PaidEmail

You can also earn Emails that pay you! Each PaidEmail you receive, you earn $0.02 for clicking the 'Confirm' Button below, and you can also do the offer within the PaidEmail. You can find the PaidEmail's in your Email, or in the toolbar on which you have to download.

Sweepstakes

You can earn sweepstake tickets from the spin and win feature, and earn 1 ticket for completing offers. Not surveys, only offers. It will tell you the months prize, and how much tickets you have. The more the better, and at the middle of next month it will show the winners. This is not a scam as my friend has received a free Restaurant.com card from them. If you get Gold Membership, you earn 2 and 10 tickets from the Spin & Win feature.

Gold Membership

When you request a payment, and receive it, you will instantly get Gold Membership. You may have thought you had to pay for Gold Membership, but no. If you have to pay to get paid, it's a scam. You get benefits from additional Referral rewards, sweepstakes tickets, and other things.

Other things to remember

You need a minimum of $30.00 to request a payment. You can get your payment from a Visa Cash Card, a Visa debit card, or you get a traditional check to add to your bank. You receive the check within 3 weeks, and the card within 3 weeks with your money on it. When you request a payment, they have a processing fee of $3.00, so get to $33.00 if you want a full $30.00 on your card/check. When you receive the card, if you wanted that, the next time you request a payment, it takes up to 3 days to put the money onto there. That's the benefit for the card. Remember, the card as addition fee's such as if you lose it, withdrawing from an ATM etc.

The Conclusion

This website is NOT a scam, as I have received a card from them and has used it. Remember, this is no 'Get Rich Site', earning only a few dollars. Read the tips on how to expand your earning power!

Constantly moving the goal posts; also sold my phone number so I am getting robo calls
I have used this site about 2 years. I received my first cash fairly fast. Once you get your first cash out, you will notice that it is much harder to earn going forward. Recently InboxDollars have capped how much you can earn daily for activities like the games section, giving you an 'aw, snap!" blocker telling you that you maxed out after earning a whopping 15 cents. The also started something new of requiring your phone number in order to request a cash out. I had to do this and now I am getting flooded with robo calls to my phone that is registered with the Do Not Call list. Their site claims they only need your number to 'verify' your account but of course they do not need a phone number to mail you a check. They claim your info is confidential but that is just a bald faced lie. Everything about that site is about selling your info, opening you to bogus surveys that ask for things like your Facebook log in, etc-- that is just a poor attempt at identity theft. Oh, and while we are on the subject of surveys, I used to work in the survey industry. Once a survey asks for your demographic information, it is finished enough for that survey to use to get paid from their client. However, the surveys on the Inbox Dollars site will have you complete the whole survey, then ask for the demographics, then you get a message saying you didn't qualify. YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THE SURVEY. It is completely wrong and fraudulent to collect the survey and then claim the person doing the survey didn't qualify. Inbox Dollars is getting paid for a completed survey, they just aren't paying the user for it. It is a tedious waste of time and recently I am seeing a lot of complaints from people who have earned enough to finally cash out and when they go to cash out they are told that their account is not valid and Inbox Dollars won't pay them. Go to their Facebook page and read all the negative comments posted daily. It is not worth your time and they will waste your time and keep changing the requirements so you will never cash out.

I just read through all the reviews for inboxdollars.com...
I just read through all the reviews for inboxdollars.com and the very last comment listed, or the first comment posted, at the bottom of the webpage mentioned a survey that was affliated with Experian credit services. This is not entirely true. I will give all of you some inside information on all the surveys you are filling out information for, especially if you are giving you name, address, etc., and the surveys ask about your buying trends and health questions and things you want to do in the future, or more likely to do in the future (have a baby, buy a house, etc.). Experian has 2 parts to its business - 1 is credit monitoring and 2 - is Marketing in the form of mass data collection on individuals to sell databases to companies who want to sell you things. So basically, the surveys collect "behavorial" information on you and this info is sold to many, many companies who maintain databases to sell to these companies that want to do a mass mailing, or something like that, for certain individuals that met x, y, z criteria from the behaviorial database InboxDollars bought from Experian. I used to work at Experian and programmed these databases for sale per client specific requested formats. Think Junk Mail! So, be very careful with the info you are giving out in these surveys (any survey on any website, not just inboxdollars.com) and more than likely when a survey comes back and says "sorry you did not qualify" it probably actually got all the info it was needing to collect in order to be sold for a certain campaign. See, these people who sell your info to places like Experian Marketing Services get big bucks and then they turn around and give you pennies, or give you nothing! They are the ones making the money! Genius if you ask me! But bad news for you, the naive consumer who is tempted into joining these sites to make an extra buck or two. Just be very careful with the info you give out about yourself.

You can earn REAL MONEY!
Really like this website now that you can download game offers to play and earn money from. Love that it's a lump sum too and not earn points as you play cause with those you can play for months and barely get a dollar, but I actually earned $60 bucks in three weeks! And if your worried about not getting credited for an offer you can open a ticket inquiry and show them screen shots that you passed the level or requirements of the offer and Inboxdollars will open an investigation into the matter. InboxDollars get back to you in a few days letting you know if there was something you missed or with the money credited to your account if they found everything in order. And YES, they do actually pay out. I claimed my $60 dollars as two $30 dollar Amazon E-cards and both of them arrived in 3 days. It's nice that under the amount you've earned they show your gift card is processing so you know it's still in transit when your waiting for it. The game offers do seem to change, so I suggest taking a screenshot of the requirements when you download the game so you don't forget what level you were suppose to get to and in what time frame. The only thing that dosen't quite work would be watching videos to earn I never see the video pop up just blank screen, but if i wait like 30seconds it counts as a completion, so they might still be working on that. Also, really love that you can turn receipts in now too to get a bit of extra cash.

Maybe the Worst Pay for your Time
They'll send you a million emails a day, which you can't unsubscribe from without cancelling your account, you'll be lucky if you get paid at all because the loopholes for survey providers are far too big, and InboxDollars take ZERO ethical/integral responsibility for the alleged "money-making" content they advertise to their users. InboxDollars does not screen their survey providers, so survey providers can promise you money, collect your data, and then boot you out of the survey under the provision that you're "ineligible." And there is no way to receive partial payment for your time. This means that there is nothing stopping survey providers from making you fill out the entire survey for free. When I brought this up to InboxDollars support, I suggested changing their 'ignorance is bliss' policy and providing some insurance to their users about getting paid for their time, but they basically just reiterated their policy (that I was already aware of) and did not seem interested in taking any responsibility for the content they get paid to post on their site.

In addition, much of the survey research on this site could be legally questionable, and InboxDollars doesn't seem particularly concerned with protecting their users. Many surveys require personal, identifiable health information to be disclosed, and they don't have IRB approval or informed consent. In most cases, they don't even have a contact in case you have any questions about the survey. You have absolutely no participant rights, even though you probably should in some cases. Imagine if a survey provider was able to steal your identity from a survey you completed... with the gross negligence policy that InboxDollars employs to keep their site populated with surveys, I don't imagine it would be that hard.

You should always be careful about the personal information you share online, but when there are better survey-hosting sites out there, why take extra risk for lower payouts? Go with a more reputable site like Amazon MTURK.

What you need to know since it's changed 10/15/2015
If you thought it was bad before, things just got worse as of 10/15/2015.

As many of you know, it takes some work to be a good fit for the survey's. I didn't really have a lot of time for inbox dollars. I would check the emails and do the search's. It would take me a few months just to get up to $30, but I was okay with that. For me, it was something I would do in my spare time. But as of 10/15/2015 all of that changed. Inbox dollars has now taken away the. 15 cents searches per day (unless InboxDollars feel they are good searches), and believe me, I have clicked on the links and tried and even searched when I really needed too, and instead I was only given 5 or 10 swagbucks!

So lets put this in perspective.

Instead of earning up to $1.05 per week on searches, I was now only earning swagbucks instead.

Now according to Inbox Dollars, they consider this a great deal because in "their wording", you now get more chances to win more items for drawings. Which basically means that you get to put your swagbucks into a drawing where others of millions of others who are also into the same drawing and your chances of winning are probably just as good as winning the lottery. And by the way, they don't even tell you what that probability is on their conditions and terms that is underlined. So not only is the survey's hard to earn money on, now the search is too.

And that's not all that's changed.

Remember that Visa Debit card that you used to be able to reload on? Well inbox dollars stopped that too.

I just found out today it's going to cost me an additional $3 to have an additional Visa card sent to my home. This is not the $3 processing fee. This is different. So if I want a new Visa card, it's now going to cost me $6, plus shipping and handling--which they don't tell you none of this upfront. All out of your lousy $30, you may only end up with $20 or less. (Only if you choose to get the online code, is when you can save yourself the the extra $3 and shipping and handling fee). And it doesn't matter if you are a gold member. Because of the shipping and handling delay, you still have to wait for your money. But again, they don't tell you this until AFTER the fact.

A soon as I get my $20 bucks, I am closing this account.

I was waiting for my check to show up so I could write...
I was waiting for my check to show up so I could write this. And my first check of $40.60 came yesterday. If I figure out how to upload it, so you can see I will. :) So let me give you some hints and advice. I joined May 22, I was able to cash out 3wks later. I knew about the $3 processing fee, so I decided to wait till I hit $35 to cash out. Well When I did, I had an offer to reach $40 and InboxDollars would wave the processing fee. Well whats waiting for $5 more. I was surprised that I got my check so fast after the "processing", Well I just noticed on the check that they are from my state. So that explained that.
So some facts and advice I have encountered. It is not AS easy to qualify or get any "good" spins from Billy anymore, since I have cashed out. Also "free offers" so far have stayed the same, so you can't sign up again. So the 2nd round is not as easy to add up, I am at $16 so far. But mind you on my work pute the radio or tasks do not work, so I am pretty much down to Surveys. But overall I am satified. It is hard qualifying for surveys being a bit older, but its alright.
I have done a few surveys and not gotten credit. I have done live chat and they have credited me, Sure some you are 10-15min in and you don't qualify, but i completed 2 that were both over 25min and I got credit. The live chat person suggested coping the URL, so now after I am in bout 10-15 and going, I copy the URL jic. So they have been quite fair to me.
As for a few things I have read here. OK First off... be smart about what your entering as personal info and access. DUHHH. No. 50 is worth giving anyone your cell phone number or access to your computer in any way, as I read someone opened her web cam... Seriously? Now your just stupid. Close out and find another survey. So if your just going to start trying inbox, heed common sense. I also have a special email created just for this kind of stuff. Created with no personal info attached to it, as you will get inidated with emails, that is part of the deal. So be smart. It is a nice source for some lil extra jing if you put the time in. Hope this helps anyone wondering... All I know is, I am happy with the $40 I just got, and since I am going to the Twins game on Sunday, look extra spending $ now :)

Less than zero
If I could give it zero stars I would. InboxDollars outsource their "customer service" to poorly trained Indian call centers where the agents have no idea what they are doing. They have advertisers on their site that are not aware of the promotions, such as Davidson Group, the invention site. If you complete some of the offers through InboxDollars they don't pay you your credits because they claim that the advertiser needs to notify them that you have completed the offer. But when you contact the advertisers they have no partnership with InboxDollars at all and have no knowledge of the offer, nor did they consent to it at all. This especially includes Lyft and Uber. YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR $50 OR $65 for becoming a driver through a link at InboxDollars! But they know that you will not be able to get through to Lyft or Uber, so I did the same experiment with several other advertisers" and they in no way consented to, or partnered with InboxDollars for these offers! When you complain to InboxDollars, after ignoring your first several complaints, they respond by saying that "as a courtesy" they have credited your account" for 50 cents FOR AN OFFER THAT YOU EARNED, SO IT'S NOT A DARN COURTESY AT ALL!
I am in the process of having the Federal Trade Commission investigate InboxDollars/CotterWeb Inc. so I am inviting anyone else who has had similar or worse issues with them to contact me and/or The FTC! They need to be taken down for praying on our demographic; people who are looking to earn a few dollars from home. I am semi-retired and care for my adult daughter who has severe special needs at home so the time I invest in trying to earn a few extra dollars means a lot to me! I don't deserve to be scammed like this, and neither do any of you other victims of this cyber-cruelty!

Don't waste your time
InboxDollars started out okay, got two checks but it took a little over a year. They've slid completely downhill and off the cliff in the last few months and now they are just an outright scam operation. Why do I say this? Because you have to fight for every single credit to your account and they demand screen shots, etc. when they know nobody is starting a survey taking screen shots all the way through. They are also a sophisticated marketing company that exists to feed their clients the data you are providing. So, they get paid by their clients--top dollar!-- and promise you peanuts for your trouble, then don't even make good on paying you the peanut.

I finally had enough and I've filed a complaint with the California State Attorney General's office. This was after I completed an offer, got bombarded with endless spam because of that offer, then Inbox Dollars won't credit me and claims they can't find it in their system. That is completely bogus. Once again, they are a sophisticated marketing company selling themselves on providing accurate data to their clients. They can track that info in their system and since they provide the links you click on to fulfill those offers, they know exactly when you did it, if you completed it and if you got the credit.

The surveys are the worst rip off scam going. I used to work for a similar type of company, so I know once they get to the demographic questions, they have the data to get paid by their client. But this outfit has you do the ENTIRE survey, including and beyond the demographic questions, you finish it, then get a message saying you didn't qualify. Um, yes you did. Not only did you qualify, you completed the survey so Inbox Dollars can get compensated by their client, but now they are too cheap to make good on that lousy. 25 cents or whatever they told you you'd get for doing the survey. So 25 cents is probably not worth your time trying to pursue, they bank on that, too. So times that one quarter you were cheated out of, times 150,000 other people taking that survey, times what Inbox Dollars is getting paid to give that data from 150,000 to their client, you see the pennies add up to big bucks. They know they already are getting paid and now they nickel and dime you, the participant, cheating you out of what they advertised as compensation. The last offer was the last straw for me. This company needs to be thoroughly investigated because they are not paying what they are saying they will.

Scammers!
I have worked at InBox Dollars for quite some time and have NEVER even seen a $5-$10 survey, LIE. You can earn pennies by watching videos, tv spot, playing a daily trivia game, doing online searches and checking for a tip on a social network page. Pennies. All of this takes time and in an hour or two you are lucky if you have earned 25cents. InboxDollars do not in any way monitor the survey companies on their site so you could actually put in 20 minutes before a company says, "oops sorry, you do not qualify" even though age, zip code, race, nationality and employment status are asked most times right off the bat. Asking 20 mins of questions requires compensation because the surveys usually have collected a ton of answers from you by then. There are also cases when you are almost done with a survey and a technical glitch (yeah, right, "technical") abruptly ends the survey and you lose your payment through no fault of your own. You then need to contact InBox Dollar and get the routine response that they do not pay unless they survey company releases a payment. Blah blah. Absolutely any way you can have money taken from you, removed from your account or denied to you, InBox Dollars will do it. So, if you 1. Get lucky and find surveys to take that will accept you 2)Do all the little "reindeer games" like WinIt, Scratch and Win, etc 3)Do this for at least 2-3 hours per day every day in a month... you MAY earn the minimum $30 to cash in BUT Inbox Dollars will take $3 of your $30 as a processing fee so $27 and you need to wait a week before the card/check etc is released to you. Again, pay attention, there are a ton of IFS, ANDS and BUTS involved and in a month you may not even earn close to $30 even if you try hard. The last straw for me was 2 surveys that "disappeared" and never credited me (one for 25 cents, one for 50 cents) followed by
Being told if I earn $40 instead of $30 they will pay the $3 fee. I did earn $40 but turns out, scammers and thieves InBox Dollars decided that I did not qualify for this special deal because I did not check off the right box. OK. Check, please! Now be careful and aware that until I get my final check for $27 they CAN and WILL take all of your money and keep it if you do not at least do the daily emails. So, if you are close to $30, GET THERE FAST, get your money and get out of this place. Check you paid emails every day until you get your money in your hands. They will try to keep you coming back by "crediting your account with the $3 they already stole from you." WALK AWAY. And don't look back. I warn everyone about this place and their lies about $5-10 surveys they advertise. You will make a little money, it will take a long time, the survey people will constantly try to scam you and InboxDollars will try to keep or take what money you earn. Walk away if you can stand to lose the money already in your account because they may have already taken it anyway and/or its so not worth it, Inbox Dollars does not reward or value long-time workers and in the end you lose.

Definitely not a scam.
Inboxdollars is legit. People that are rating 1 star to 3 stars are people that do not follow the rules. InboxDollars speed over surveys which is why the get their account terminated. If you put legit information when you sign up, you won't get disqualified from surveys as much.

Off of the rant, inboxdollars is a GPT site where you can complete surveys, complete offers, play games, watch videos, listen to the radio, open emails, and much more to earn money. I've personally earned 3 payments, $27, $27 again, then now recently, $43. I got $43 in about a month. If you would like just $30 a month, all you gotta do is do 1-2 surveys a day and earn $1 a day and BAM!

Surveys: You can earn from $0.25, $0.50, $0.75, $1.00 and $1.25 (I haven't gotten any higher paying surveys) And they are simple to complete AS LONG AS you put LEGIT information in your inboxdollars account. Inboxdollars sends you surveys BASED on your information on your INBOXDOLLARS account.

Offers: I usually don't do offers anymore, surveys is the way to go. But, you can earn from $0.10 to $20.00. Of course, the higher paying ones may require buying something with a credit card. For example, if you pay for a month of Gamefly, you get $10 in your inboxdollars account. The lower paying ones you can just sign up and earn your money.

Games: This isn't what you think. The games to EARN aren't free. You earn cashback. Once you get into a game, you need to pay to get into a tournament, and if you win the game, you get more money back than you betted AND cashback into your inboxdollars account.

Videos: The videos are 15 seconds to 3 minutes. The longer videos pay out more per video. 15 seconds mostly reward sweeps.

Radio: You can listen to the radio for cash! Every 10 minutes, you will see a code you will need to enter on the site. Once you do, you earn $0.01 on Inboxdollars! It isn't a lot, but if you were gonig to listen to the radio anyways, Why not?

PaidEmail: You get about 3-4 emails a day. Once you read them and click "Confirm PaidEmail", you automatically earn $0.02 a day!

The online downside I see is the shipping takes MUCH too long, and as a goldmember, it makes no difference.

I will continue to use this site.

ABSOLUTE WAST OF TIME
I spent the majority of my actual free time the past week doing useless (BEYOND REDUNDANT) surveys and watching pointless videos, both of which I only received credit for hardly 2/3 of, and completing COUNTLESS offers (which -again- never receiving the monetary credit for WELL over a third of), and then was told I couldn't change my method of payment to a gift card. Which, I don't see why, or what the $#*!ing issue is if it takes TWO FULL WEEKS to get "*PROCESS*" a VIRTUAL Prepaid Visa. The site is a scam, like everybody warned me about. Sure, you'll get paid (maybe, I can't confirm this for another two weeks, but going off of what I've read on other review sites, you probably won't be paid at all), but even if you do... keep in mind that it takes them TWO WEEKS to process a VIRTUAL VISA... I just don't understand it.

InboxDollars have ABSOLUTELY *N*O* customer support (hence there being no phone number to call to speak to anybody), but meagerly attempt to make up for it with a pathetic "live chat", which is full of the exact same repetitive preprogrammed responses... aka, a f'in robot. The site is bogus, and I hope SOMEBODY learns from my mistake and stays the hell away from this scam that is solely made to collect and sell your user data while screwing us on payments...

SCAMMERS
SCAM ALERT! I am a military veteran. And I am a retired. And it is my duty to inform the public and any prospective person who is considering working for this dubious company that INBOXDOLLARS.COM RIPPED ME OFF intentionally. You are required to complete $30 worth of surveys before you're compensated. I completed $19 worth when suddenly the pool of surveys dried up. This means I am stuck in limbo. I have done work that I will not be paid for because I am beneath the threshold of $30. And when you're paid an average of 0.25 per 30 minutes worth of your time, $19 represents several hours worth of work. CHAT BOX ACCESS: The only way to reliably contact this company is through their chat box and if you raise concerns, InboxDollars will take away the option of the chat box. If you attempt to call them, you'll reach a recording. THIS COMPANY HAS POOR ETHICS and in my opinion, they systematically refuse to pay out what they owe. The person that I dealt with on chat box is name is Glenn. Should anyone who works for InboxDollars reads this message if it is not your intentions to scam then you must coach Glenn to provide professional service.

A Classic for Those Survey Veteran/Junkies!
I've always really enjoyed the inbox dollars website ever since I first became a member, as well as the app that InboxDollars later graduated too, having left the beginning desktop website, a thing that's a thing of the past! I enjoyed inboxdollars so much because it was the very first survey site that I had ever visited, and been able to have not only the layout of things make sense to me, along with the way that the site/app worked, but I am very ecstatic to tell everyone, InboxDollars is also the very first site that I was able to actually maintain my patience while collecting enough funds by completing the different tasks! It should really tell everyone how good of a survey site InboxDollars must be just by me sharing just that small detail with all of you! Now that I'm going to go ahead and also fill all of you in on the fact that I tried almost every survey site that's out there. If it pops up in a Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc. search engine's results, then I have DEFINITELY tried it and QUIT IT! There are only 3-4 survey sites that I actually even participate with and with InboxDollars being one of them, when you consider the results on only the Google search engine alone when trying to search for various types of survey sites, their list alone ism mesmerizing! Yet alone if you throw in the results from other search engine's results, the app suggestions that pop up after you've searched for and downloaded one of the survey apps, or just the random bull$#*! ones that won't even be legitimate, but yet so many people and up wasting their time on those ones most often because they have the most spam type advertisements, but that's because of people sucking at life the way that people tend too do sometimes, by going on and making up a whole entire survey that takes you over an hour to complete it and then just as you're about to get to the end, it asks you to subscribe or to buy something in order to be eligible to receive your reward? When in all actuality, even if you were to pay the subscription pricing or to purchase 1 of something out of the dozens of advertised products, you would never actually receive the prize or the incentive that was offered to you at the beginning of that survey! I've learned that to avoid the bull$#*! advertisements bombarding you at the very end of a survey making you angry that you ever wasted your time filling out the same questions over&over again! To avoid having to endure that type of a fate, there's one sure fire way that I've learned is always a certain way of knowing whether or not a survey is legitimate or not-and that is, IF THE REWARD SEEMS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, THEN IT USUALLY IS!

The Improvement is Slight, But It's There... sort of
I like the premise of the site and for the most part, it delivers, but it still has some issues to address. InboxDollars may think they are clever with the whole "magic receipt" thing, but I can guarantee that more than half the site users don't use that function. Putting it into the daily list just means that more than half the site users who do this activity don't get to complete it. My advice: don't be so "clever". For one, they aren't being clever, they are being obstructive. If they don't want people to complete the list, why bother with it at all? They don't think things out. They don't think like their customer base.

Now, let's talk about the change of "reward" options from cash to gift cards. Why the change? Everyone was quite happy with earning checks. They took that away without even asking the customer base. Now it's gift cards, which is 'okay' but isn't the same as cash in hand. Some folks really count on the cash and have no real use for gift cards. Then there's the selection of gift cards they offer. Again, they don't really think about their customer base when choosing what kind of gift cards to offer.

Overall, it's the same as the other sites that do the same thing like Swagbucks, etc. You dull your brain with their ads that you have to review and surveys to take. The surveys are endless, time-consuming, and give you little for your effort unless you are fortunate enough to complete a survey. Most of the surveys are geared toward incompletion. "You don't meet the survey requirements" gets you another shot at a scratch-off ticket and your time has been wasted. Completing a survey is great, but the odds of completing one are slim at best.

Sometimes it can take several months just to get to $10 because the reward for reading the ads is only 1-2 cents. That's $. 01-. 02 for reading a bunch of advertising that is uninteresting. If you are quick with your mouse, you can bypass most of the ads without actually having to read them. Some few are relevant to what I'm into but most aren't and involve spending a LOT of money on the advertised item. I use the site to earn money, why on Earth would I want to spend even more money on some of the stuff they are peddling?

I'll say the same I have said before: Caveat Emptor y'all. You get what you pay for. In this instance, the currency is time vs the almighty penny.

Proof of purchase doesn't apply here. It is a review of a "free" website. They pay me, I don't pay them. Caveat emptor... nothing in life is free.

Your option for logging in with FB doesn't work anymore. You may want to look into that.

Cheers!

Between Lifepoints and Inboxdollars
My last cash out was really worth it. It is helping me to get my minimum balance back to where it needs to be. Inboxdollars helps me pay for my guitar lessons. If you've listened to my older music you can clearly tell that I need more practice. Good Dartotte has free downloads on bandcamp. I will try my best to get better. I like music and gardening. My hobbies get expensive. There are a few things Inboxdollars can improve on. I wish I could keep the videos rolling non-stop, but its a little too click intensive for me. I'd rather just answer surveys. I wish that there wasn't an earning limit on the games. Mahjong and WordSwipe are fun. I feel as though my opinion truly is valued and I am making the world a better place while remaining completely anonymous. On LifepointsPanel InboxDollars remove the surveys I already answered. It is important for me to know which surveys I answered already. I don't have to worry about that if they are removed from my survey feed after I answer them. Sometimes in the past I had issues because I couldn't remember which surveys I did or didn't do. I can be more helpful if we get more of these wonderful retailers to build locations in my town. My city needs much more stores. Answering surveys gives me more financial freedom. It feels more natural. I don't have to put up with any grumpy bosses. Thank You!
