Ordered cakes for my father and father in laws birthdays on May 28th and June 6th. Indiacakes did not deliver the cakes even after paying the extra dollars as IndiaCakes requested. At one point, the customer service consultant lied to me that the cake was already delivered without checking any records.
I cancelled the orders since they were not able to deliver it and indiacakes said the amount will be refunded in 5-10 days.
I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUNDS TILL DATE WHICH IS ALMOST ONE MONTH NOW AND EVERYTIME I CALL THE CUSTOMER CARE, THE LADY WILL SAY IT WILL BE REFUNDED IN ANOTHER 5 DAYS.
DON'T USE INDIACAKES AS THEY ARE NO LONGER COMMITED TO PROMPT DELIVERY OR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
There are so many other professional gift delivery options like winni.in, fernsnpetals etc..

Ordered cake for my mother's birthday and IndiaCakes confirmed delivery and payment receipt by email and over phone... However they never bothered to deliver nor bothered about informing the same. However on repeated follow up they forwarded an email asking for additional delivery charges which is totally contrary to the promise made and as they announced on the website...

On my refusal to pay additional payment the customer care stopped picking my calls and after a week's followup from various numbers they sent a refund coupon asking to order after few months.

Please beware and it's fraud and all the positive comments are using fraud promotion agencies...

Think before ordering with this website, if you don't want to be embarrassed or cheated.

I have placed the order 2 days back ( order Id: 100243484) and did a followup on delivery date. Customer support gave me wrong assurance about order delayed due to rains in Delhi. Then IndiaCakes called recipient saying order was placed 10 mins ago and we cant deliver before 11:00pm night. Another call with support & they say recipient has ignored delivery for the day! I am aghast with the way this was managed ( un-managed). They are yet to learn about professionalism and commitments.

Note: I have been ordering cakes from them earlier but this year had been highly disappointing.

I recently had a really bad experience *******@indiacakes
For them customr satisfaction is least of a priority. I placed the order after multiple telephonic confirmations frm d executives & on d day whn cake was to be delivered I calld them in d morning just to take a confirmation. IndiaCakes assured that delivery will happen by 6pm. I waited patiently till 6:45pm nobody gave me any update.At last I calld them to take d status of my delivery vry conveniently they told me that they couldn't arrange d delivery.

Blunder1: Point to note here is their customer support closes at 7pm sharp & I was not being told about the status the entire day
Blunder2: They promised me a refund, as it was 7pm already & I was discussing my issue with them, they were in a hurry to close their shift and did not inform me about any refund policy. Wen I asked what needs to be done for a refund d executive told me to write an email and said everything will be managed and dropped d call

I wrote an email the same day stating all that has happened. I did not even receive an apology mail. After waiting for few days and not getting any response from their team. I called them again. And the executives told me that it takes 15days. I waited patiently but it was of no use. I had to call them again yesterday to remind them about my refund

Blunder3: the executives now told me that I can only get a coupon they don't refund at all. I don't know what took them so long to figure this out. I was really angry this time as it was d matter of 835/- & after all that I have gone through they expect me to shop from their website I mean seriously

Blunder4: I kept telling that I would like to talk to your senior & I don't want coupon but the refund as it was company's mistake & to my utter surprise the way their entire customer care department started behaving was unbelievable. They starting disconnecting my calls as they realised that I am again the same customer. One lady pretended as if she is not able to hear me n then kept the receiver aside while I cud hear executives laughing n talking wen I told her that you are on a call record pls don't pretend that you cannot hear me, she immediately disconnected #shameful

I placed an order and made payment for half kg Chocolate Truffle Cake for 29th May 2019 through their website (www.indiacakes.com). On 29th May morning I confirmed the order with a support executive of theirs and IndiaCakes guaranteed the cake would be delivered prior 7:00 -7:30pm that day.

Then later the very same day at 4:30pm 29th May I am getting an email saying only 1 kg cakes are available and that I have to pay Rs. 499 extra for the extra 1/2kg. But if this was the case, this should have been informed to me prior to placing the order or at least prior to making the payment. Certainly not at 4:30pm, asking me to pay an extra of Rs. 499 for a cake that should be delivered at 7:00-7:30pm, they left me with no option. I didn't want to pay extra for something that I don't want.

Then I tried chatting with the support executive, they were of no use, whatever I asked they just said pay extra. Then I send a mail asking them to the do the needful.

This is the substitution policy given by them, Substitution Policy: If any Product you have ordered is not available for delivery on your requested delivery date and delivery address, it may be substituted with next best available flavor, color, shape, size. I asked them substitute with any cake available. They wouldn't agree, they were just adamant on making me pay extra.

Since I understand it was not a deliberate mistake, I called on *******2222 to discuss and find a solution. But the lady who answered the call was extremely rude. She was screaming at me even though it was their fault. She screamed at me saying I can't cut a 1kg cake and make it half and give you. She told me I should call first and confirm the availability of the cake and after that place the order. Why do they even have online ordering option then? Doesn't make sense. I kept telling her this cake is for my Dad's birthday, please do something or at least give me a refund, she said no refund possible. Whatever I asked, they kept on repeating the same phrase "pay extra". Then she just cut the call saying we saw your mail, we will reply. They have no professionalism or respect for their customers.

I haven't got a mail reply still, nor was I able to gift cake to Dad on his birthday. I have been sending cakes to my parents for years from other websites, never have I faced such a problem. First time I used indiacakes for a change and it was the worst experience ever. Very unprofessional and very rude.
NEVER EVER ORDER from them unless you want to regret and spoil the special day of your loved ones.

IndiaCakes have not any valid policy, they are ask for extra money after the full payment of the product. If the extra charges are need to apply then they can told/ notify the total amount which will be pay by the customer before the online payment. If customer are willing to buy with extra charges then he can buy but if customer pocket didn't allow then he may go for other option but they hide an extra payment burden until you didn't buy the product. Although you order the product and you want to cancel the order then they didn't back your money on your bank account they are giving a coupon which is redeemed only for their product means if you want to use your money then you need to buy their product which they serve at any rate. It's very painful that once you pay and chancel order from this company then you are restricted to buy their product from that money which is actually your money.

Worst service. Fraud company.
I have ordered cake for birthday surprise on 9th of March n it was mentioned that we will deliver it by today itself, after 2-3 days i was continuesley trying to call on the given number to reach out with customer care service because yet cake was not delivered but this stupid Fraud people again n again was disconnecting my call, staff is horrible rude, when I tried calling from another number then IndiaCakes received n said me that sorry sir we dont have our service on your mentioned address. Now u can cancel your order. As soon as i said
Okay just refund me my payment immediately they disconnected my call. 0% response to customers as they don't need any customers. I would not at all recommend this company. Plz be aware of this Fraud company. Once they receive payment from customers then they won't respond u anymore...

It took time to deliver the cake but overall it was good... price is little bit high... Initially I paid 150 for time slot and later 100 rupees for delivery charge... Cake price was 590 & I paid 250 rupees additional for time slot & delivery which is close to 42% of cake price... This additional amount could have been lower say 20-25%...

More over I booked slot after 2 PM but cake was delivered at 6:30 PM... then what is d benefit of paying 150 rupees for time slot...

I understand you people are providing best service on special occasions such as Birth Day but as I said overall price is on higher side... if you can reduce additional price to max 25% and make sure that cake is delivered as per time slot then it would have been great... I need to make calls 2-3 time as product was delivered bit late...

I never thought to celebrate my husband birthday without cake, but for my surprise you people fulfilled it.
I ordered cake on 31st with normal delivery for which slot was 11 am to 9 pm. And I am still waiting and chasing you guys for the cake and on your contact number now no-one is taking the call. Yesterday I called 3-4 times to your contact number and everytime I was getting reply your cake will be delivered in 30 minutes and for my surprise your callers are having lot of attitude problem.
I also paid 100rs extra as a distance charges which is no where mentioned on the site I paid this to deliver the order on the time but now it's all waste you guys have spoiled my day. Thanks for cheating.

Pathetic service, would give a zero or negative rating if was possible. I had placed an order of cake and flowers for my mother's birthday on this website. First IndiaCakes didn't send any order confirmation email, then order was not delivered on the day promised. When I chased customer service(agent - Savita) next day I was told they will deliver it that day(1day late already). Still it was not delivered and no communication whatsoever about that. I sent them email 3rd day asking for refund, no reply to it. 5th day I contacted them on chat again, for every question I had to wait 10-15mins for answer with no satisfactory response. Agent (Fatima) was not trained nor resoureful to answer queries correctly.
Now I am being told I will get refund after spending so much time in wait of replies and again I am getting lesser thn I paid for for which again they couldn't explain me the reason.
Overall very bad experience. Never going to use this service again and advice the same to others.

I have booked a birthday cake on 04.11.2020 which was supposed to be delivered on the same day. But delivery guy called me on 6th Nov for cake delivery. I refused to accept that order and asked IndiaCakes to cancel my order. IndiaCakes asked me to drop an email for cancellation which I did. Now they come up with new excuse everytime I call customer care and telling me that I should have accepted that order on whenever date they are delivering.

If they can't deliver then why taking orders to close the shop. Why collecting money from people through this medium.

These types of companies spoiling country names as putting India on their websites.

Pathetic service. Really disappointed. Won't recommend this to anyone. Also, will tell my friends and colleagues not to order anything from IndiaCakes.

I placed an order for a birthday cake which was supposed to be delivered yesterday (13. 11. 20). It has not been delivered till today (14. 11. 20). I understand that such mistakes can happen but a couple of things made me realize that IndiaCakes are deliberately doing this. First of all when I click the Track Order link it opens the home page with a message below saying that "we are offline ". Secondly when I try calling their customer care number, repeatedly, I am always the 6th person in the queue, which after a couple of minutes become the first person on the queue and then, their agents are said to be busy and the line gets disconnected with a promise that they would call back but nothing happens. I shall never ever use their services. I am certain that I have lost my 600 bucks.
I don't know from where they got their 4.5 review.

I have placed my order yesterday before 7 PM for same day, I have selected normal procedure for delivery, But my order is not delivered yet, Today i am going to talk there customer care live chat, IndiaCakes have not help me when it will deliver they just copy and paste you have order after 7 PM, I have mention my order number to him and timing of my ordered then he said you have to order before 2 PM for same day, He is not polite, he is not have a sense how to talk to customer, and how handle customer,
When i have order for same day before 7 PM, if India Cakes are not able to delivered their orders for same day after 2 PM, then why they took that order. They have to stop me at that time when i was going to order for same day. This is not the way and i also mention please teach your customer care executive how to handle customer and how to talk i think this is much better for your business. You have lost your 4 customer for my side (My family member). And if recommend to my friends also dont use IndiaCakes :)

I will tell you why I am saying this. But believe me India Personalized Online Cake Ordering with Local Bakeries is the WORST website. I would have ever come across.

Took the order(Order ID- 503733) for cake on 27th Nov 2020 at 2.46 PM and it should be delivered on 30th Nov 2020. Got confirmation mail, that it will be delivered to the concerned place. On 30th Nov 2020 at 4.17 PM, I confirmed with the customer executive on call whether my order will be delivered on time. IndiaCakes said, absolutely your order will get delivered before 7.30 PM.

On 1st Dec 2020 at 11.00 AM I called the customer executive just to check why my order hadn't been delivered on 30th Nov 2020. They kept on saying they could not deliver my order as it's a remote area. (Before placing the order I have checked with the customer support, whether they have delivery services at the selected pincode(736201- West Bengal). And they said they do have services. And in fact they even tell me, 2 days back they have delivered at the same pincode). I contacted the customer executive, 5 to 6 times to know the status about my order or http://refund.In the middle of the conversation they disconnected my call. They have the most unprofessional customer support.

And also I am going to write to Mr. Manit Nagrani, CEO of Indiacakes.com to look into the matter. Where I can see there are many people like me who have orders but could not get the delivery or quality is not good due to some reasons. And about the customer support too. Let's see how this Big fish fixes my problem.

So please be very careful when you deal with them.

I placed an order on 20 Jan and IndiaCakes promised to deliver the same day. They did not deliver the cake on 20th Jan before 9 pm and my friend had to buy another cake after 9 pm then I called indiacakes.com at 21 mornings and they informed they you have to pay more 200rs to deliver so I said cake is not required now, do not deliver, I want my refund, they said drop an email we will revert, I sent 3 emails on 21 but no one reverted, I called again on 22, but they shouted on me saying - there is no refund policy, and you placed order at 4pm and expecting us to deliver same day and you did not paid extra delivery charges and they said let me add your call to receiver, we have your receiver number, and ask them how far they live to deliver, they tried to include and insult in front of the reciever. Literally that lady-sunita shouted on me like anything, I am attaching my recorded call and email what I sent, they does not even 0 star.

My wife had a really bad experience

She placed an order for a 1 kg birthday cake in coffee flavour on the occasion of her grand mother's birthday with India Cakes vide order no. *******830 dated 9th June 2017. IndiaCakes had confirmed the delivery of the same at Ponkunnam, Kerala on 12th June 2017. When she called the customer support executive they further confirmed the weight as 1 kg and that the same would be as shown by them online.
However, she was aghast to see the photo of the cake delivered to her grandmother since it neither had any resemblance to the one agreed upon nor had it come anywhere near the weight promised. She felt cheated as it was supposed to be a surprise for her grandmother. She took up the case with India Cakes the same day and they were very casual and unapologetic about the goof up. There was neither any remorse nor any regret on their part. The cake was not coffee flavour as it was stated in the mail by the company. It was a plain 1/2 kg chocolate cake which was sourced from a local bakery called Aryas.

Her grand mother contacted the local delivery agent who profusely apologised for the cake delivered and even agreed to send a fresh piece. That was not to be since the birthday was already over. He further stated that the order given to him was for Rs 700 and what he had provided was a cake bought for Rs 300. The transition of the cake from an order costing me Rs 1560 to the one delivered at a cost of Rs 300 is beyond comprehension

I have ordered a cake my order no is 508630 but the after making paymets of rs900 after an hour IndiaCakes ask for more rs350, so i cancelled my order. Now they say i will recieve 100%refund and after that no mail replies nothing, no info about my refund, after struggling again i talked and they give me excuses that our IT department is closed and you will get a coupon as a refund but no information regarding coupon and there contact no. Is invalid and they blocked me chat box also... they are frauds and just looting people. Please stop playing with hard earned money of people and thier emotions

I have placed an order for my mom's birthday. After 14 hours of placing the order, IndiaCakes sent a mail asking for additional payment, as they could not deliver half kg cake to my location. I said them that I don't want to make any additional payment and asked for a refund. No one has responded to my email, it has been 10 days. Even in the chat, the agent said that I will receive a refund email shortly, but it has been 4 days, again no email. Again I contacted the agent, now they are saying they will give a coupon code instead of a refund.

I had placed an order to deliver in the city of Bhubaneswar. IndiaCakes did not deliver. They did not even have the minimum courtesy to say that it was cancelled. I called them too many times to find that out. I had kept a person waiting at the address where it was supposed to be delivered. And the delievry never happened. Firstly they do delag. Even though it was mentioned that normal delivery during 11am to 7pm, they start preparing your order only in the evening after 5 pm, this is not me telling, customer care executive told me. And when I asked them the reason for the delay, the nicely said, "delivery can be anytime between 11am to 9pm, right ma'am. So all that we care is you get the cake or flowers before 9 pm." Wasnt that too rude. I mean whats the point if they deliver when the party is almost over. So people, plz do not go for Indiacakes.com. And today is the 5th day of cancellation of my order, which they cancelled, I havent received any mail or messages from them mentioning about the cancellation, not even n apology mail they have sent. So. I dont know when will I grt my refund I must lodge a complaint at Consumer Act India. SO A BIG NO TO indiacakes.com

I am living in Bangalore and my best friend works in Noida, it was her birthday and I so wanted to surprise her. I sent her favorite chocolate truffle cake to her office through Indiacakes. Also I added a box of chocolate and a small soft toy along with the cake from Indiacakes only. The cake was delivered to her in the morning only as I ordered it a day before and mentioned the time when I wanted it to get delivered. She was extremely happy as it was the first surprise of the day for her. She loved the cake and also the soft toy. Thank You Indiacakes for keeping me connected with my bestie on her special day!
