The site is easy to use. You can customize the sandwich without much effort (it's perfect for girls like me that don't do salads on their sandwiches and just want meat and cheese) which is great and helps to prevent the feeling of shame when ordering something from some skinny teenager giving you the look because you said NO to everything remotely healthy on your sandwich.
One complaint I have on the site is that, if you use it often like I do, it keeps readding your delivery address (if it doesn't change like mine; i get it at work) so I have 40 different computer generated variations of my delivery address, even though I have one marked as default. That extra step is an extra pain in the behind. Also, there's a section that says NOTES FOR DRIVER, yeah, you need that, BUT where's the note for the sandwich maker or packer? I am HIGHLY allergic to onions so I have to make sure there is no cross contaminated with the vile white beast of the vegtable world, the demon of the garnishment variety... Anyway, I have to call and tell them that. It'd be nice if there was a little box that says SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS for the sandwich.
Because of that, I give it three stars.
Called the store and was told Jimmy John's would redo the order and send it back out with the same driver. If he couldnt find it the first time why did they think he could get it right this time? No apology, no discount, no nothing. I canceled the order.
I'm done with Jimmy John. Screw ups are really constant with this store JJ9003.
Sometimes, it's the little things that add up and make one not wish to bother ordering from a company again.
Zero attention to detail. Super Fast should not mean Less Quality. I really like the sandwiches and convenience, but it's simply disrespectful at this point and I no longer wish to do business with a business that does not value customers enough to give them what Jimmy John's pay for, consistently.
Next, I went on a scavenger hunt and finally had corporate call me 3 days later and tell me they "locked my account for suspicious activity." Like WTF? Is this a bank or a sandwich chain? After unlocking it for me, and determining that I was a legit dude who just wanted a birthday gift from the app, I asked if, since I missed the window for my birthday sandwich if they could hook me up with an extension or get me a free sub valid until the end of the month, they said "Sorry you'll have to wait until next year."
Well, I wont be waiting until any years because I will never go back to Jimmy Johns, they lost me as a customer over a $6.50 sandwich.
This is very unprofessional and disappointing! We waited over an hour for sandwiches that we couldn't eat because the lunch meeting had ended already as well as 2 members had left.
I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING MORE FROM JIMMY JOHNS! THE MANAGER DIDN'T CARE THAT MY ENTIRE LUNCH MEETING WAS RUINED BECAUSE OF THEM!
P. S Jimmy Johns is only 3 minutes away from my business. It took them over an hour to deliver to a location is less that 2 miles away. POOR SERVICE AND ATTITUDE!
I wish Jimmy John's had been more open to me ordering what I wanted. I felt as though I was expected to have memorized their menu numbers, as he insisted I tell him which "number" I wanted. I didn't care what number they ordered me, just as long as it had only what I wanted on it.
2 hours later in walked a delivery driver with my order? I told them it was cancelled and they left it anyway. I called to speak with a manager and they were "busy" and someone was going to have to call me back.
I called again on 6/16 and spoke with Vander and he agreed that I shouldn't have been charged and took my information. He said Willie the GM would be following up.
Here we are on Friday 6/18 over a week later and they still have my money and no one is following up.
I am sad to tell my story as I do like their food but if you need it delivered I wouldn't recommend it anytime soon.
