Poor communication of my flight details-not recommended
I was sent a confirmation for my flight clearly stating I'm allowed a cabin bag of 15 kg. I plan my whole trip such as I don't have liquids and as little stuff as possible with me for exactly this reason, and when I arrive at the check-in desk of the airline they tell me that I am not allowed any bag and that I could only pay and check my bag in. That basically cost me my trip as I wouldn't make the second leg of the flight, if I checked in my bag. I called kiwi and they were totally indifferent. I lost a lot of money because of them and they did not even give me a voucher.

Kiwi booked me on a Jetstar flight to Cairns from Melbourne - I had booked online using Kiwi site for 3 Pax.
1) Firstly they booked me on two different PNRs which means I was on a different PNR from my wife and daughter
2) I tried to check-in onto the flight to Cairns online on the day of flight (4 July 2022) for flight number JQ 946. I noticed that my ticket was not confirmed as it was partially paid by Kiwi. I was asked to make additional payment before the ticket was confirmed (please note this was about 4 hrs prior to the flight departure). I was unable to pay online to the airlines due to some technical issue - I called up KIwi customer service and asked for help. I was promised that they are looking into this on an urgent basis and will revert asap. As there was no update from Kiwi, I called back in another 45 mins and was again assured that they will take care of this and revert urgently to me. Please note - NOBODY from Kiwi called back or sorted this out for me. I had to finally sort out the pending payment at my end with the help of a friend before I could board the flight.
Really unprofessional way of handling the case by Kiwi - I have never seen this in any agent across any where in the world (I frequently travel across the world). I am not recomending Kiwi to anyone after this experience.

We booked our flights to Corfu Greece with Kiwi.com because of the price, apparent convenience, and baggage allowance in terms of carry on bags ( one 4 kg. bag and one 8 kg. bag per passenger) . All was printed out under the Kiwi letterhead and all was well on our departing flight. Just prior to our return flight I discovered that there was a flight change that involved an earlier departure as well as an extended 12 hour stay in Athens for our connection. The issue was at check- in in Corfu where we were informed that the airline ticket did not indicate the same carry on allowance as shown in our reservation meaning that we had to pay an unexpected fee for baggage. I paid and contacted Kiwi only to be given a polite (at first) runaround . Kiwi referred me to the airline but I wrote them that my problem was with Kiwi . I made my reservation based upon Kiwi's ad and Kiwi's confirmation . As time has passed they don't even acknowledge my mails. It is almost 2 years(!!!) since this incident and yet they still send me offers ! Obviously, I explained to them that until this is resoved why would I even consider them as an option ? I have travelled since then (with other companies)and I have nothing but contempt for Kiwi - and any other company that has no integrity or respect for the clients who are the reason for their very existence !

Thanks to Guarantee team for organising us an alternative route home and accommodation after our first flight was delayed and the rest of the trip collapsed because of that.
Reading such bad reviews we were dreading the worst but after few obstacles all was sorted.
Yes it took some time and patience because we received an alternative route confirmation after 5 hours of waiting in hot and busy airport with children. And during that time I was the one regularly calling them and asking for updates and various other questions that came up because of the situation.So in the future would be nice for team to communicate a bit more with customers when sorting their issues.

I used kiwi to go to Barcelona on the 16th, I did not end up in Barcelona until the 18th. I was supposed to get back home on the 26th and I did not get back home until the 27th. I had to sleep in the Toronto airport multiple days due to the fact that there's no type of hotel accommodations. I had multiple cancellations and delays and there was little to no assistance in rescheduling flights. My baggage was damaged and I have not gotten a refund for that, I haven't gotten a refund at all actually. I had to rebook almost all my flights using different airlines myself and I ended up spending over an extra $2,000 just to get to and from my intended destinations. At one point when I was attempting to use kiwi to reschedule a flight they told me to "call back later in two hours because our services are down" it was already 1:30 am. When one of my flights got cancelled I called a kiwi agent to let them know about the cancellation and the told me I had to call the airline to rebook, is that not kiwis job? Almost every time they "rebooked" me on a flight it would get rescheduled, cancelled or my spot would mysteriously disappear. Honestly I never leave reviews but if I can save anyone from this extremely traumatic experience I'd be happy to.

Do not book with them. They are thieves. If for some unforseen reason u have to cancel They will refund 10 Euros for your entire ticket of $1000 and pocket the rest, even if the airline is refunding upto 75% of the amount.
Be careful booking with them. They even charge u and pay the airline with their card so they have full control over the transaction.
Airline confirmed to me that 1 flight in your itinerary has been canceled and no info from Kiwi.com. and probably no refund for it either.

Paid for a airplane ticket to return home. Soon after paying via credit card, I get an email from Kiwi.com saying we are processing your booking. Four hours later, I get an email saying your booking process has been delayed and you will be notified when complete. Also, stated may take up to 24 hours. I waited 24 hours and still no response. Web site indicated still processing. I attempted to have a live chat and find out the status but could only chat with an artificial service representative. To date, the day of departure, I still have not received any communication from Kiwi.com. I had to buy another ticket from a different company and flying home. Using Kiwi.com was an expensive mistake and I feel robbed.

This is the worst company ever! I booked 6 flights around Europe and they ruined every single one of them. They moved my flights to other days and I had to pay extra nights in some hotels and loose nights in others. Then there was a typo with my name and I checked each airline and the passenger name can be changed for free if its under 3 characters, which in my case it was. Not only they replied to me after weeks of trying, I had to call them since they ignored my emails. And to make it worse, Kiwi wanted to charge me 150£ per flight to fix the typo which its supposed to be free! That price was even more than some of the flights. I had to call each airline individually and do it myself, but since kiwi did the reservation, I had to remove them as the owners of the reservation and change it myself. And thanks to that I found out they messed up the luggage for one of the flights! They forgot to add the luggage for one of the returns! I had to pay extra for all that. I ended up paying 500£ more due to change in hotel accommodation and the luggage. The worst company ever! I will try to seek legal advice because this was outrageous!

Under no circumstances should you book with Kiwi.com! Absolutely shocking and incompetent customer service.
I tried to book a flight to China but found the flight itinerary they sold was actually impossible and wouldn't be acceptable for anyone to be admitted (according to the Chinese Embassy).
I rebooked the suggested itinerary on the site only to get a notification several days later that it was rejected. Thus began a long saga of correspondence with the Help Desk (they offer phone support 2 weeks before your flight date). The only times I get any information is when I've chased them up - they do not take any initiative to find a solution. They answer all queries and suggestions with excuses:
- the flight route is unavailable (yet I can see them selling the routes on their website and on other airline websites)
- we have a high volume, you are in a queue and we are working through it, please be patient (for nearly a month??)

On 25.01.22 I bought a flight via Kiwi.com. The flight was booked until 28.08.2022. On 28.01.22 I was informed that the trip had been changed so that it could not be completed, and that I could demand an assisted refund. I therefore booked a new trip on January 31 as I was entitled to a full refund. I was again informed on 12.06 that my new trip had been canceled.
In the meantime, I have complained to the service provider about the cancellations. I have not received a solution. I have had the Transport Appeals Board take over the case for me, but they have also not received a response in about half a year from kiwi.com. In the chat with the kiwi, they claim that they have not been contacted by the transport complaints board.
I have travel insurance privately and through the Danish bank's travel insurance through a mastercard with the academics, but since the trip has not yet taken place, the above is not covered via travel insurance.
After reading comments, one comes across experiences such as:
"The Department of Transporting contacted the airlines, and they both got back to me directly. I found out Delta refunded Kiwi.com in November 2020, and Hawaiian Airlines refunded them in February 2021. Kiwi.com fed me reads for 2 years when they had MY MONEY on their account. "
Have also read experiences about cancellations of aircraft where the aircraft have not actually been canceled in reality.
If kiwi.com could get 0 stars, they would get it from me. Cruel experience, without the opportunity to contact by email, phone etc.

Sadly a really terrible experience. I tried to add baggage to my flight but I could get in via the airline company because kiwi com had used a private email of their own without telling me. I had to request this but sadly it was too late and my boarding pass was already available so now I have to pay extra at the airport. I had to request the email and then wait for a verification code which I never received from them. I rang up to ask if there was anything that could be done and was hung up on by a rude Woman. Very disappointed and want my money back

I'm afraid this company is a total scam. My daughter booked a flight, the first leg of which was cancelled a few days after booking and she hasn't received any refund. She was also told that one piece of checked-in luggage was included (ie for the second leg of the flight). It wasn't. She had to pay $80 to get her bag checked in. Kiwi admitted they were at fault on the phone and said all she had to do was fill in the details online and she'd get a refund. She submitted the details, and got a message saying they would not be refunding her. She now can't get in touch with them, either by phone or online, because as soon as she enters her booking ref, the system blocks her. Impossible to get through to an actual person. Believe me, we've both tried. No way would I suggest anyone uses this company. They really shouldn't be allowed to trade.

Customer Service is horrible. Can't actually blame the employee their policies and scamming techniques are not the customer service reps fault. But they do work for a company that overcharges for flights. I booked 8 passenger to a flight and at the time it was the cheapest option online, well based on the search engine. Best advice search the airline site directly and avoid booking through travel sites if possible. I ended up paying $200 per person costing me $1600 extra. They have many add ons and pricing schemes so they can take your money. DO NOT USE THEM.

One star is being generous for this company. Their customer service is absolutely unacceptable. My flight was changed to have a 22 hour layover meaning I have to spend the night in that destination, and due to the fact that "it is under 24 hours" it is a minor change - as if 22 hours vs 24 hours makes a difference. They refuse to give a refund, and even worse, they don't even have the courtesy to offer an alternative solution nor rebook on a flight still through Kiwi that is still an inconvenience for me. They try to rid themselves of your problems in the easiest and most convenient way possible for THEM - no consideration for the customer. Absolutely will never use again and will not recommend to anyone!

I think if nothing goes wrong, you might be ok. But get a delay/change/cancellation?.. you are absolutely screwed. Support is woefully bad (even though I have paid for increased support), sometimes you get a response and you read it and think... did they even read my message?
I cannot recommend you don't use Kiwi enough. I never write reviews, even when things go wrong elsewhere. But Kiwi.com seems like the mother of all scams, for more reasons than I can care to write.

Kiwi.com are real cheaters!!!! My booked flights on 2/1/2021 have been canceled by the flights company. I have tried with Kiwi.com in order to get refunded with no answer, just lies!!!! Recently, they have tried to cheat and provide voucher with the half of the amount and claimed that they have not got refunded from the flights company, and the are trying their best to help the customers for getting the refund. I contacted Corendon airlines today with my details PNR: P18NKT, and Kiwi booking number: 134383425. Corendon airlines informed me and provided me with a written confirmation that they have made the transfer and refunded the tickets money to Kiwi.com on 1st November 2021, so they have confirmed to me that Kiwi.com
are cheaters and cheating their customers. No one of them is answering or could explain why until now I have not received any refund??????

This is a horrible website suprisingly supported by skyscanner!! DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. I booked my trip from Cyprus to Italy , and then every other week I was getting email alerts of flight times changing and being cancelled. Then the webiste was forcing you to pay extra to change the itinerary. I am urging people never to use this website, unless you want to experience physchological abuse. They are horrible. In the end I cancelled my flight and booked another flight, even if end up loosing most of my money.

Booked for 3 passengers and one of us can no longer join in our flight since his passport renewal was delayed. The site wouldn't allow us to go to the next page as we had to input ALL passport details but we simply couldnt as we dont have the passport yet. They cant cancel him and insisted we should still check him in with a DUMMY details and just mark him as no show. I checked on the airlines guidance and its clearly indicated not to check in any passenger who isn't flying. I told them its not best practice and that I checked-in the airline directly and they said they wouldnt help us in case something happens since we booked it directly with the airline.

I am now even more disappointed that I cannot leave 0 stars. DO NIT USE THIS COMPANY. you are better walking to your destination. They have taken my money already have not booked a the flights and my flight is in 2 days. I booked this 3 days ago. I cannot contact someone for help. They told me I need to upgrade my package to speak with someone. Trying to scam more money out of me. They have forwarded my urgent request to the booking team... This was 2 days ago. Still no one has reached out to me to resolve. The customer service is terrible never mind the company. I can only speak with someone 14 days before my booking which is impossible or 2 days after the flight date which is really helpful because by then what help is that to anyone!?!???! I cannot believe the stress and time this has taken up whilst I'm on holiday. Absolute joke of a company STAY CLEAR

I was a bit afraid because of reviews, but everything was great, I bought four tickets (transfer flights) and got every ticket 24 hours before flight. Tried to use helpdesk platform - I got message like in 2mins.
I guess you pay the price (which is low) but you need to be prepared for two things:
1. If you have transfer flights, be aware of time, do not book second flight less than 3 hours after your first flight. You can miss it.
2. Just know: if you paying cheap tickets, do not expect refund.
I was checking updates and info in kiwi app constantly therefore did not experienced any problems. Moreover had no issues with raynair - got the tickets with QR code 😄 also, forgot to mention, fill check in details as soon as app will let you to do it!

If you have any flight issues with the airline and miss a flight the options provided to you are so ridiculous that it makes you have a worst experience and end up spending MORE money.
We had our flight redirected to another airport due to weather issues and lost our connection. The flight was a direct 4 hour flight to our final destination. The only flight Kiwi provided was a 53 hour flight that would land in another country with vida and different Covid requirements... (We we're also traveling with 2 kinds under 4 years old). The refund option was just 20% of the total cost of a two flight schedule... I know this is an edge case, but this seems so outrageous... I don't wish this on any one
