Koko Black

Placed a delivery order on 15/6/2023, and at the time of this review, 28/06/2022, order still has not arrived. Contacted Koko’s customer service to be told due to an error they were never sent to the required destination and was only scanned into Brisbane yesterday, 27/06/2022. I’m still not sure why I kept coming back to Koko Black. However I’m now convinced I shouldn’t come back and spend more hard earned money.

I was very disappointed in the delivery times, especially since shipping was $15. Ordered on Sunday, the package wasn't dispatched until Tuesday afternoon, tracking didn't show any movement until five days later (Friday). I left a message on their online platform stating the alternate address on Friday afternoon (cause I wasn't going to be home). On Saturday morning I received a call "you're not at home" (at the original address). Anyway, I eventually received them late Saturday afternoon. The delivery was Brisbane, not some remote area.
It would be really appreciated if delivery estimates were provided/accurate.

Bought some chocolate hazelnuts and jam for mothers day and were a big hit. Mum loved the chocolate hazelnuts and is waiting until we visit to try the jam :) Glad they're dairy free and that there were multiple options to pick from without dairy for next time. Will definitely order again a little further in advance.

Unfortunately the chocolates never made it to my house. The first lot disappeared and the second lot were “undeliverable’!! I wax refunded my money but it does mean that Koko Black does not deliver Australia wide as they claim ( or they are using a very unreliable carrier). Very very disappointed.

Chocolates arrived in good order having been transported in a climate controlled truck. However, the journey took 2 weeks, not the 5 working days that were quoted on the website. So my birthday gift to my son was a week late.

Not blaming Koko Black specifically but 2 and a half weeks to deliver and three delivery promises before eventually delivered not good. Also no reply when I advised finally delivered or apologies

Dreadful service. opted for same-day delivery only to be told 4 days later when I call to check that its only available in Melbourne and KOKO Black will not cancel the order. Should have driven 5KLM myself and picked them up from a local store.

Packaging is beautiful and thoughtful (resealable packs are genius, see-through window allows visibility of product which is also appealing)

Flavours are a little underwhelming but overall good chocolates.

The Koko Black chocolates were wonderful - the presentation superb and the taste amazing. I was however disappointed with the delivery. I paid for express delivery to the ICU of a large teaching hospital in a capital city. However the delivery service was initially unable to find the address - they could not find the HUGE teaching hospital at the address I provided? On the second attempt some days later (voiding the whole point of paying for express) they called to ask if the person could pop down from ICU to meet them to pick up the chocolates - I explained that the person was unable to do that as they were very sick in the ICU. So whilst the product itself was AMAZING - the delivery was so poor that I don't know if I will order again.

The box of chocolates were a gift to my sister who turned 70. She absolutely loved them and is wondering when the next box might arrive. Quality chocolates made with the best ingredients YUM 🤤

Chocolates had the wrong card on them. Really disappointing. Recipient would have not known it was from us has we not followed up. Refunded $2 which isn't much compensation for the mistake. Customer service not great. Chocolates were for an important client. Won't be back

I love the chocolate from Koko Black and have been a loyal customer since my first purchase. Other brands just don't compare. Even brands that are more expensive do not give the same value/quality for money.

The chocolate from Koko Black was exquisite! What's more, when my second order didnt arrive for Easter, I was reimbursed! Such incredible customer service. The order that arrived at my brother's house for my nephews was just the most wonderous treat - they all adored their surprises and as I mentioned, the quality was second to none.

My family in Melbourne thoroughly enjoyed the deliciousness of the chocolates which arrived in good condition. I look forward to sampling some (not from that box!) when I visit in your Spring.

The chocolates themselves were delicious however, the Biggest Bunny was delivered smashed and was refunded. I would buy again, but only from the shop itself. Delivery seems to be an issue, with many, many reviews saying goods came broken.

Item was order before Easter as a gift to my son and his wife. Promises of delivery time after time, but it was never delivered. Easter came and went, I felt so embarrassed when they gave me an Easter egg and I couldn’t give them my gift as I did not receive it, after many promises and many comments on their website. So so disappointed and upset. Will never use this company again.

Chocolates were great as usual however delivery was disappointing. The delivery person left the package at another entrance of apartment, there are two entrances of my apartment and it was just left at another entrance and I received text message with photos that the package was left at the entrance. I had to walk to the entrance to collect the package since I was home all day.

Arrived after Easter after website stated they would arrive before Good Friday taking into account covid, 1 out of 3 rabbits was smashed in transit on arrival after intended interstate recipients had left.

Wonderful service and delivery was super quick but the chocolate was the showstopper here. The absolute smoothest, best tasting chocolate our family has ever had! Across the entire range, everything was superb 👌

Over time Koko Black's Dark chocolate has been exquisite and remains so, but we now find the flavour profile of fillings too subdued. There's only subtle differences between tastes. They used to be more defined.Product: The Dark Collection Praline Gift Box
