This place SUCKS
My doctor put order in on Friday - it's Monday now. I went to the Hinsdale, Illinois location on Saturday as that was the only location with Saturday hours. LabCorp had no record of my order. Took me a half hour to get there only to find out they don't have my order in their system. I went to the location on Ogden in Naperville this morning, and sat and waited an hour only to find out They have no record of my order and when you call their phone, you get an automated message that says we will be right with you and then it disconnects you. I tried a few times, and so did my doctor's nurse. She tried faxing something there and it wouldn't go through. I am now very late to work and labCorps completely sucks. Went to quest diagnostics, was in and out in five minutes. My doctor's nurse put the order in five minutes before I got there. It went as smooth as butter. LabCorp Is an absolute total waste of my time and I would never go there again. All I had to do was put some Pee in a cup, as my doctor is worried about me spilling protein. This is important and they failed twice. Never again. I recommend not using LabCorp. Quest diagnostics is a wonderful alternative.

Incompetent and Rude Staff
If there is a no star, this would be the rating of this location. We arrived at 7:55 AM on Saturday. There was a line and I was the 5th person. The lady opened the door at 8 AM and we were asked to check-in on the kiosk. I did complete the check-in for my wife, who is a nursing mother. After that, I was asked to wait a text message. The person who checked in after me, received the text and I did not. I talked to the lady, and she rudely said " Are you sure you are before him?" I said: Yes. She did not take the time to fix the situation and I did not receive any text. She asked me after 15 minutes of waiting to do the process again! I asked my wife to switch with me and I will take care of our 5-month son. Later on, the rude lady did the check in herself while my wife was standing. Then my wife was inside and LabCorp threatened her to call the police if she does not step outside! It was raining and there was a problem in their kiosk and they did not have the human decency to fix this trouble. I called my wife after another 15 min of waiting for a text message and asked her to leave. I stepped in one more time and said:" I will call the corporate". I left and there were two police officers who just arrived. I was already in the car. I parked in another spot and walked toward the police officer and said sir excuse me. I am the guy who they call the police for. I explained the whole situation and he was very understanding. He said: There is no case at all. I left and I have a sore feeling in my heart because my wife did not have her lab done. I will not stop at this review, I will escalate this to the CEO of LabCorp. This place should be a medical facility, people who run it does not know anything about medicine.

I had a manager that hated men, especially gay men.
A long time ago I had the misfortune to worked for Gloria Anderson when you use to be called Roche. She was a rude, sarcastic person that like to humiliate people, especially gay people.
I was a courier and I was always thirty minute early for my shift, I dressed well, I was honest and I took my job seriously. She never liked me for some reason, but when she found out that I was gay, my lord, things got worse.
One time her fellow gay hater in the office named Pat, decided to sabotage my courier work by hiding some test kits and the paperwork LabCorp came with that I was supposed to take to an office at Southwest Medical Center in Dallas. That night Gloria Anderson placed the paperwork in my basket with the other paperwork to make it looked like that I had missed it. So, after she got a complaint from the medical office at the Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, she then took me to her office and accused me of being incompetent and stupid. After yelling at me for several minutes she then wrote me up and told me I was on thin ice. Later that day I learned from a friend of mine in the office named Jan, that she had overheard Gloria Anderson and Pat hatch the sabotage plan up in Gloria's office.
With her vulgar remarks about gay people and her sabotaging my good reputation, I decided to quit and get a better paying job that wasn't so stressful. Last I heard she was a branch manager at one of the LabCorp centers in Fort Worth. You have a horrible company LabCorp! And Gloria Anderson, what is wrong with you? People need the results of their medical tests ASAP.

Blood Work: The Experience By Veena Laks
Today I went to the Lab Corp in Somerset, NJ and I must admit, I was quite anxious. You see, usually when I need to get my blood drawn, it takes a long while because my veins are rather elusive and are quite good at evading needles, just like Trump is with his taxes. As I was waiting for the person to come in and do the test, I was going through all these various scenarios in my mind. My heart was racing. Were LabCorp going to stab the needle in my arm repeatedly? What if they couldn't find the vein? What if they keep me there for 3 hours? I couldn't take it anymore. I suddenly felt the urge to run out of the establishment because I was riddled with so much anxiety. Luckily, the person came in and immediately soothed me. I guess you could say she calmed my nerves (Get it? Nerves? Veins? Haha). Within minutes, she was easily able to find the vein on my left arm and draw my blood. I was in disbelief! This has never happened to me before! I couldn't believe my eyes. What a pleasant surprise this was! I knew immediately after I saw the blood leave my body that I had to write a review about this mesmerizing experience. The name of the flawless individual who drew my blood was Kamini, and I will forever be grateful for her. Her expertise is unparalleled, and she will always have a soft spot in my heart that now has to compensate for the blood that was lost. Thank you, Kamini. I wouldn't have been able to do this without your tender care and precision.

Very deceptive practice
As far as I can remember I have never posted negative feedback about a company until now. There is a practice among some medical facilities that everyone should be aware of. LabCorp specifically is one that uses a very deceptive practice. I went to a LabCorp facility to have blood work done and asked the girl at the counter if LabCorp accept Blue Cross Blue Shield. The woman behind the counter said yes we do. I gave her my card she typed a few things in the computer and off I went to get my blood work done. Several weeks passed and I received a bill for the total amount of the blood work. When I called to find out why, the representative said we accept all insurance cards. I said why did I get billed the total amount. Come to find out that Blue Cross Blue Shield is not in their Network. The representative explained to me that it's my responsibility to make sure that they are in my network. All the woman had to say to me at the counter was we accept your card but you may not be in our Network. I believe this is a very deceptive practice. I even had two people in their company tell me that they agreed with me. Anytime you work with your insurance somewhere be sure to ask them if you are in their Network. Apparently asking them if they accept your insurance is the wrong way to ask. I will never use LabCorp again. Even if they are in my network in the future. A company with these type of practices is not one I want to trust my blood work with.

Customer service and management team rude ad discourteous
My lab bill was considerably higher than what the medical staff told me it should be. I called Labcorp just to see if LabCorp could reduce the bill since I had not met my insurance deductible and would have to self-pay. On my first call, I was told that the bill could be reduced by rebilling it as self-pay. After two phone calls and more than an hour on hold waiting for a supervisor to see what could be done, they came back and said that the best they could do is adust my bill by about $50 - that's $50 HIGHER than the bill I was questioning! (And, they acted as if they were doing me some big favor)! They knew full well that they were being rude. They insulted my intelligence and wasted my time. The supervisor was intentionally discourteous and did not do Michelle, the service rep, any favors either. The supervisor made the phone rep look bad by making her do the dirty work of presenting a ridiculous suggestion. Their customer service team came across as unreasonable, rude and unintelligent.

Shady business practices
LabCorp fails to inform the offices that use it's services of any fees, ( for the patients) what so ever, to the point where if you call the doctors, (I say doctors because it seems to happen everywhere I'm cursed to deal with this company) LabCorp have no clue why you're being charged... not informed of any charges before hand... I have a pretty awesome insurance it has to be I pay 500$ a month for it, with what is supposed to be a set co -pay for these services (at least it's what happens at other labs... instead I get a ton of random different bills, (For routine always the same blood work.) from this junk company... lets say... what if you want to fill up your gas tank at the same gas station you have always gone to... but here's the catch you don't know what the cost per gallon is until you get home two weeks later and check your mail to find, BOOM! You have 4 to 5 bills from the gas station, for one fill up, for a randomly made up cost per gallon sounds horrid? YEAH! Well this is what you get with labcorp GO else where if you can... be informed of where your labs get sent... don't blame your doctor for bills from this joke of a company.

Urinalysis wrong & dangerous reporting
I have only had trouble the last few months. I have started making my doctor apts. For pain control mgmt urinalysis in early morning to try to mitigate bad results but several tines now none of my medications in my urinalysis show up. I am trying to taper down (my choice) humanely w/ certain medications but when none of the meds show up my doctor assumes I'm not taking them AT ALL and wants to take me off immediately. She is a new doctor I've nit had time to establish any relationship w/ as my regular doctor whom I had a good relationship with moved to new position so the new doctor is assuming / what? I'm not sure. But I'm concerned about the person who got MY results - did LabCorp lose their job or custody of a child or? Because my drugs would have shown up on their results. And because I know the drugs should be in my system, this is causing me great anxiety. Additionally, i know they are handling covid tests too now. When I brought up concerns to LabCorp they said I had to discuss with my doctor, so what avenue do I have now? I live in Alaska so there's time and sample travel involved in these being transported. I am at my wit's end. I'm not sure what I can do but I know these results are wrong and it's affecting my health now.

Lab Results Are Untrustworthy
The primary task of a medical lab is to provide trustworthy numbers. I have had two results in the last two lab visits that had erroneous numbers. In both cases I verified the correct numbers with lab tests at Quest Diagnostics which has never failed to give accurate info. The first was an A1C test, which LabCorp reported at 5.6. I am on an ultra-low carbohydrate diet, and so a 5.6 is an impossible number for me, and every other test in 3 years has been 5.1 or 5.2. The Quest test taken a few days later came back at 5.2. The second test a few months later was a lipids panel which LabCorp reported a triglycerides of 430. This also was a crazy number as mine had never been above 150. The Quest test taken a few days later showed a typical triglycerides number of 109. LabCorp must not be re-calibrating their lab equipment. If you can't get reliable numbers from a lab, then it's not wise to use them, and I will never be using them again. Quest is super reliable.

Wrong Code Entered seems to be costing people hundreds of dollars...
Had some bloodwork done at Labcorp for an annual physical. It is all covered 100% - and have been doing this for decades. The person doing the paperwork was not the normal person I deal with. There was a small fee due of about $4 and I kept getting an invoice for it. The balance should have been zero. I had called and talked to them, called my insurance company and LabCorp felt the code was incorrectly entered, the last digit was off. I had communication going via email and told them this, and months later I got the latest bill. It has now gone to a collection agency. So between Labcorp, my insurance company, myself and now another party, we have hundreds of dollars spent on this to correct a small error.

I have been requested to go to Quest for my tests, as their info goes directly into files at my doctor(s) offices, but I liked one office of Labcorp. Now I think I will got to Quest because of this. Labcorp offices seem to be disappearing, as two in one of the areas I go to, are gone. Perhaps this is one of the reasons... The small charge should not be legit as there should be no charge at all for these routine tests with respect to my insurance. Labcorp never got back to me after I noted that my insurance thought the coding was incorrect. Looks like it will cost Labcorp thousands of dollars for lost business since they did all my labwork and will go elsewhere... (A shame there is only two labs which are across the country that do this work, Labcorp and Quest).

Unethical
The initial problem was that I was strolling on my phone QUIETLY as she gathered her things. She became rude when she told me to let her see my right arm and I switched the phone to my left hand. She told me I should be a good little girl and put my phone away or she wouldn't draw my blood. After I told her I was a grown woman she told me "you're acting like a 2 year old because your strolling on the phone on whatever app while you're in the dr office. " I responded by telling her again that I was grown and she needed to go ahead and draw my blood. She replied that I didn't tell her how to do her job and that I could come another day or go to the hospital and get it done. I told her I wasn't leaving and to draw my blood. She told me I was very rude and trifling. She began to thump my veins instead of using the palpate method and when I told her too stop she responded by saying "you don't tell me how to do my job. If you're a Phlebotomist then you draw your own blood." I got out of the chair and she continued with her insults. I walked into the hallway and ended up meeting the office manager. She came in to defuse the situation and Theresa and I continued back and forth because she continued to say smart things. She told the manager that she didn't say any of those things and I told her she was a liar. She ended up to admitting that she had said SOME of the things and that she was sorry. I know I'm not the only person she has been nasty too. I understand we all have bad days but that was TOTALLY unacceptable I hope that you don't just sweep my complaint under the rug. Being a fellow medical professional I know that that's is not how you are supposed to treat your patients and that type of Behavior is not accepted by the ASCP or AMT.

Unprofessional, rude and immature staff
Unprofessional, disrespectful and Immature staff. Woman at the window was sarcastic. The so-called phlebotomist blew a vein in the top of my hand. She put it near my wrist! Then she went to the other hand and blew a vein there, too. She did not take one full vial of blood. I walked out of there without saying anything and she was calling out thank you, have a nice day, take care, very sarcastically! I am a woman of 67 years old and all my life I have been treated badly by plain, fat, thick glasses, stringy haired, females, obviously jealous because I look nothing like them even at my age I was better looking than them. Not being conceited only factual. LabCorp both should be punished in someway. I've gone to the LabCorp in San Antonio on Village Drive. The place is beautiful and has very good and competent staff. I went to the location at 1303 McCullough in San Antonio because I had another appointment later that day in the same building. I would never go there again nor recommend it at all. Things like this should not happen, there are many good competent friendly and pleasant people out there looking for jobs. Please, I would love to know the results of this outcome, thank you very much.

First Time Visiting Labcorp with Telemedicine Direct Access Lab Testing
So, as a millennial I am of the opinion that standard doctor appointments are utterly useless and have started using telemedicine platforms. I use Wisp (or HelloWisp.com), a telehealth platform and EverlyWell.

I received a Lab Request from my telehealth doctor for annual STI testing. I was told to:

"Please choose the Quest Diagnostics or LabCorp of your choice (you may walk in or schedule an appointment) and present the attached Lab Request to the be tested. Your lab may require you to print this Lab Request out."

Of course, I wasn't going to "walk-in" during a pandemic so I scheduled an appointment online with Labcorp. I received a printout and the instructions were very clear. Given a ton of negative reviews about Labcorp, I expected to run into issues.

After booking the Labcorp appointment online, I received a detailed follow-up email that confirmed how to prepare for my visit (including Covid precautions such as waiting in my car until I received a text to come in, scanning my Driver's License to speed up check in with LabCorp | Express, etc).

I arrived 15 minutes early as suggested and waited in my car until I received a text to come inside. I went inside scanned my DL and then was ushered in for a standard Urinalysis test which took less than 10 minutes. I was told I would receive a bill in the mail and results within 2-3 days (this does not include weekends).

To expedite results receipt, I signed up for their patient portal to manage my account and review results online. I think not doing this is why so many people have issues with LabCorp. It's clear that's how LabCorp are set up and without portal access, you're left waiting on your doctor to confirm or calling regularly. As a millennial, I'm tech savvy, so it's no problem and preferred.

So, I received my bill 4 days later (via the online portal). And the portal confirmed lab results would be ready the next business day (Monday). So, on the 6th day following my lab visit, I received my results online. This includes the weekend (2 days longer wait).

The bill was in the portal and I paid it online as well.

I'll say this, Labcorp is expensive. After researching other telehealth and lab options I will not use them again because a standard STI test (includes 3 tests) via Urinalysis cost $384 - out of pocket (no insurance).

This is steep considering you can use other telehealth platforms and get the same test for 1/2 the price with their preferred labs.

The visit was perfect, the online portal is also set up well. I waited 6 days for my results. I can't compare this to any other experience because prior I'd go through a doctor and wait for results from him/her. But overall, I like going direct with lab access and cutting out the middleman (a non-essential doctor's visit) for standard health screenings.

The experience was fine. No issues. The only reason I docked 2 stars was because of the cost. Nearly $400 for an STI urinalysis seems a bit absurd. Otherwise, I'd use them again if needed.

After reading all of the negative reviews I really do think LabCorp experiences vary by market and demographic area. I live in an affluent suburb and as such the level of service is probably indicative of that. So I'd recommend reading Google Reviews of the LabCorp location you choose before making an appointment.

Poor Customer Service and Inefficiency at Baltimore's Hampden Office
I am new to LabCorp and my initial impressions have not been good. I have visited your Hamden office on three occasions and each time the service has been mediocre to poor. On my first visit, the lab tech was very nice but the admin staff seemed unable to function. I finished all my test within 30 minutes but then waited two hours to pay my bill. The next visit involved a put upon lab tech who could not answer basic questions and made negative comments about my PCP. She claimed to not be able to understand his handwriting but made no attempt to call his office when provided with the information even though there were no other patients in the office at the time. The last visit on 08/13/21 was the worse. A lab tech was in the office alone and she was very rude and off putting when I asked about my bill. I had a question or two about the self checkin procedure and she hummed and sighed as if I got on her nerves so bad. I am a senior citizen and think that you should really pay close attention to the Hamden office. LabCorp also do not have adequate seating and when more than three people are in the waiting area there is no room for social distancing. Coupled with the inefficiency, it has been a consistently unpleasant experience at your Hamden office.

Customer Service/Financial Dept. are terrible
I have been a customer at LabCorp since I was young. Recently, at the end of 2020, I was required to have a drug screening prior to a clinical rotation for school and my first thought was to use LabCorp. After going to my visit, it only took about 3 days to get everything back and I was satisfied with the services. However, the bill I later received was astronomical when compared to past similar tests. As a full-time student during COVID, this was an unexpected expense and I noticed LabCorp had a financial aid form on their website. On a whim, I filled it out and sent it in. Around 2 weeks later, I received a letter from them stating it was 100% taken care off and I thought that would be that. I was wrong: I have received a bill for the services every 3-4 weeks since receiving the letter stating it would be covered. Each time, I have to contact them by phone and have it removed just to repeat the process again. This time around, the invoice was even sent via their in-house collection agency and, again, the letter and past record of my calls should get it removed. I am afraid that if this keeps occurring I will end up in some type of trouble all from a mistake on their part.

I am satisfied with my local LabCorp office, the speed of testing, and friendly faces, but with the difficulty I am having with their financial and customer service departments, I doubt I will ever use them again.

Horrible in every aspect
This is my last visit ever at Lab Corp... except for one nurse, staff is horrible, careless, slow and rude.
Checking in takes forever compared to other labs.
Bathroom has no water/soap/paper to wash.
Place is a mess, not clean at all for a lab
But worth is time to get results. My doc said 2 days, and it's now over a week and he has not got results. My case is not life threatening but serious enough that the results should have been in in 48 hours.
I went back to Labcorp to check as nothing on the internet or by calling the various numbers was of any help, and after I complained that I called the numbers and only got menus etc., a young male nurse? Walked in and said he was going to help and tried to call the lab directly but then one female nurse walked in and scolded him saying it was not his job, and LabCorp were busy (they were not as it was noon and I was the only person in the wait room) so he said sorry.
Places like these don't deserve to exist.

Dishonest from their Corporation down!
On the weekend of July 4th of 2020, I was not feeling well and went to a local Medi Center. After being seen by a doctor I was given a COVID test because of some of my symptoms having similarities to the virus. I was informed I would have the results by 7/8/20. I had called LabCorp on 7/7 in hopes my test results would come in early. I was assured LabCorp would be available on 7/8/20 when I did not receive a call, I proceeded to contact their main office to find out my results were not done and would receive them no later then 7/9/20. I'm a father of 2 Autistic children. I had to make arrangements for my children which is extremely difficult being it's extremely rough on their daily routine. After expressing my concerns to the Monica from their corporate office, I was assured I'd have my results by 7/10/20 and redirected to my local office in which I was informed they were in fact not done! Had I not been falsely lead to believe they would have my results on the date promised I would have chosen a different facility in which to have quicker results. Even their recordings say the COVID tests results are 1-3 days. They are being deceptive to people which could lead to very unfortunate situations leading to others getting ill by their negligence and ability to be honest with their clients. It's no wonder why they're rated a D+ with the BBB. It's a terrible way to do business and can seriously do much harm in the process. They could have simply been honest and said they were not able to complete the test at the promised date giving me a opportunity to get one elsewhere. I've been deceived from the local LabCorp all the way up to their corporate office

Don't even think about going here!
Today I had an appointment at the Doylestown LabCorp at 800 W. State Street. I was taken in promptly. I asked the woman to please us a butterfly needle as sometimes my veins can be a challenge to get into. She complied. After looking at a few sites on my arms and hands, she chose a vein in my arm, which was not successful. At least she treated me respectfully. I was sent to the restroom to give a urine sample. When I came back to the room, no one was present. Finally a heavy-set woman appeared. I also asked her to use a butterfly needle, which she ignored. She immediately had me clench my right fist and jabbed in the large needle and got nothing. She asked if I had drank water, to which I replied "yes." She kept jabbing the needle deeper and deeper and it began to hurt and I said it hurt. She pulled it out and said, "you're done. You're too tense. You can go somewhere else." And she continued in a rude fashion to berate me. I said, "You won't like the Google review I'm going to give you." She kept repeating have a good day. I have never been treated in this fashion. I have typically gone to a Quest facility to have blood drawn one every other year. No one has ever had a problem getting blood from me if LabCorp use the butterfly needle. This is completely unacceptable to treat someone like this. I WILL NEVER STEP INTO ANOTHER LABCORP FACILITY!

Headquarters is poorly run
I can't make an account on line because the questions LabCorp ask about my life (type of car, street I lived on, etc) I apparently didn't know the answers to. So they denied me an acct. I emailed to them at which time they emailed back telling me to fill out the attached form. I did. No response. I emailed again and they said we need a drivers license. I sent it. Again, no response. I emailed again. They said fill out this form. I said I already did. No response. I called. I needed test results. I've been getting them from corporate headquarters since I faxed a signed note. They wouldn't give them. I said I've been getting them this way for 2 weeks now. I asked for a supervisor. New woman got on the phone. I explained everything. She said you can't get them over the phone. I said yes I can. They are my results. She said let me give you to a supervisor. (I thought she was one). She came back on saying she's at lunch and will call me back. I said what time does she leave for the day? 5pm. It's almost 8 pm and guess who never called me back. Yep - meanwhile, I still have no acct! They have a bunch of morons working for them.
