Excellent resume builder and easy to navigate!
I used resume builder for myself, my grandson and son in law - 25,38, and 63 years old - we all benefitted from the easy to navigate Livecareer.
The great thing about this resume builder is LiveCareer include a selection of specific descriptions with each of our strengths and discrete skills. I would reccommend this for anyone and any age group.
When I needed to cancel my subscription to Livecareer, the young lady i spoke to was courteous and was amicable.
Great company and excellent results - we all got the jobs we wanted!

Great service combined with a good, easy to use product
With the help of their resume and cover letter tools I got multiple interview requests and job offers. Whether that was due to the help of their product or just my overall awesomeness, who knows?!;-) Subscription is a little pricey but worth it for a month or two. LiveCareer clearly state that you will be enrolled in reoccurring monthly payments when you sign up, so be mindful of that. When you want to cancel, just live chat with them and it's a simple process. Alejandro and Andres were very helpful both times I live chatted. They offered reduced pricing to keep me from cancelling (as low as $4 a month for life). Very temping. Would use again but hopefully I won't need to. B-)

Disappointing in the face of the competition...
Thus far I'm disappointed with the career testing end of your site:
If there was any information on having to pay for my results, I might have thought twice about taking the test. IT may have been buried in fine print, but the testing presents itself as free.
At the end of a long test, I'm told I have to pay $25-40 for detailed results.
Once I resigned to paying, I received a confirmation email for my payment, but no results and no explanation of when I could expect them.
I gave it a day before calling calling in and after a long wait talked with a really nice CSR (Costa Rica is a good choice for outsourcing your CS needs), who was unable to resolve the problem but escalated it for me.
That was yesterday.
Now it's 3pm Central time Monday afternoon and I still haven't heard back from a soul.

A good suggestion on how to fix this: refund my money, give me the report for free.
It's better than me going through the hassle of forcing you to fulfill your money-back guarantee. It will create good will and I'll be more likely to keep using your site.

Honestly, amazing site and would not change a thing...
Honestly, amazing site and would not change a thing on the technical side of things. That said, I dislike your business plan, and nearly abandoned my resume simply due to the fact that you are subscription based. I would gladly pay $10 or even $20 per resume, but as someone who makes a resume about once every 3 years, the subscription was not enticing in the least. Years ago, I used a competitor to create a resume and LiveCareer also forced me into a subscription, and despite my cancelling with them same day, they continued to bill me monthly for over a year before I noticed. I'm not saying you should forgo the subscription strategy altogether, but if you also provided a one-time fee for folks like myself, this would have been a 5 star review.

I found it very frustrating to moves items up or down...
I found it very frustrating to moves items up or down within the sections, such as skills - I wanted to reorganize the order of the skills I selected.
I select where I can the cut text placed and it replaces my cursor at the bottom, then I have to reselect where I want the text, and the second time it will leave my cursor where I placed it. Each skill took me multiple clicks to get it to move where I wanted it placed.

Also the student template that I selected is created for the first page, but I would like the second and remaining pages to not have all the blank space on the right hand side. I want pages 2 - xx to use the whole page.

Not great
Not great. LiveCareer put me on a 14 day trial but neglected to tell me if the trial lapsed I would be asked to pay $30.00 plus a month AUD. I failed to see how this would benefit me.
My initial problem was that their resume template would not accept my mobile phone number with country code. As I wanted to apply for a remote position overseas. They told me that I would have to convert my resume from PDF to WORD to achieve this. I was also told that I could get a deal where I would pay AUD $5.95 a month for their services. This dramatic reduction, rather than selling me on the deal made me even more dubious about their ethics.

Scam
It said it was completely free so I went over the website and decided to go ahead after spending quite some time making the cv, LiveCareer told me I had to pay a small fee of £1,45 for a week of unlimited cv's. After spending so much time on the cv I just went ahead for the cheapest option of the one week option but a month later they took out £13,50 out of my bank account unauthorised. Outrageous £16 on a cv which at first instance claimed to be Free, disgusting scam..

Great resource!
LiveCareer was very helpful. I am a substitute teacher who is also looking for a part-time job for the summer. I needed to make resumes for various potential jobs. The website gave me guidance and suggestions, as well as different resume templates. The interface was also very easy to use and navigate. I had a small issue with my account and the Live Chat option was convenient. The customer service rep was very helpful and resolved the error quickly. Highly recommend to anyone thinking about using this resource.

False advertising
Scam. I googled "free resume builder", LiveCareer came up at the top as "Free Resume Builder". Great! I thought. Spent ages inputting my information and when I was finally done, I clicked DOWNLOAD PDF. The next page I was taken to requested credit card information. I had to make a payment in order to download my "free resume template". Time wasted!

I want to be clear, I understand resume builders/templates are a big resource and paying for them is not my issue. My issue stems from the fact that I was told this was a free service and in the end it wasn't.

Excellent customer service.
Just talked to customer service at Livecareer.com. The value of the product is good and effective, however I now have a job so I was calling to cancel the service. After speaking to the customer service rep, he made me aware of some services that I was not aware of previously, so I decided to stay with the service for a while longer. My customer service rep was knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend this company and their customer service is great.

SCAMMER!
I CREATED MY RESUME ON THIER WEBSITE FOR LESS THAN $2, LiveCareer SAVED MY BILLING INFORMATION, AND AFTER A COUPLE OF WEEK, THEY CHARGED ME $24!
PLEASE NOTE THAT, I HAVEN'T SUBSCRIBE TO THEIR SERVICES, I JUST PURCHASED SERVICE FOR ONE TIME, THEY THEN ASKED ME TO PAY LESS THAN $2 SO THAT I CAN SEND OR DOWNLOAD MY RESUME.
MY BANK HAS CONTACTED TO WARN ME THAT THERE IS A SUSPICIOUS TRANSACTION REQUIRED FROM A COMPANY LOCATED IN PUERTO RICO AND TO SEEK FOR MY AUTHORIZATION. AND AFTER NOTICING THAT I HAD TO CHANGE MY CARD AND RIGHT AFTER THIS ACTION THE WEBSITE SENT ME A CANCELATION EMAIL!

THE CONCLUSION: TO NOT BE SCAMMED, AVOID USING LIVECAREE.

Scam. Beware!
This helped me revamp my resume. However it quickly turned into a scam. I paid $2 to download a single copy of my resume. The company mislead me by including fine print on the confirmation email for my $2 purchase that LiveCareer would begin a "14-day trial subscription."

The company keeps your credit card on file and begins to charge you $25 Per month after 14 days. If you didn't read the fine print of the receipt from your $2 purchase, they will charge your card every month. This sounds innocent, but they also do not notify you or contact you AT ALL once this "subscription" is in place. After I received the confirmation for my $2 purchase in April, they never emailed me again—even once I was apparently a paying subscriber. I belong to several subscriptions and they always send at least monthly email promotions/updates. It's clear they wanted to take my money without me noticing. Unfortunately, I did not notice these charges until they already charged over $100 from my bank account, months later.

Only do business with them if you intend to cancel anything they subscribe you to without your explicit consent and feel confident in your ability to do so.

Be careful with cancelations...
I started a trial with Livecareer, which was not a problem. However, after finding out that my company is going to give me help with job relocation, I decided to quit before the trial was done and sent an e-mail to them through their website. I did not get a confirmation e-mail. MAKE SURE YOU DO! I left for vacation immediately after and did not notice until I got my statement this week I have been charged 2 months dues even though I haven't used the site. If there is no confirmation the automatic payment kicks in. Be forewarned.

Since I moved from NY 8 years ago to start a family...
Since I moved from NY 8 years ago to start a family I have been determined to find a Staff (Not Freelance) Job NOT Traveling Every Weekend, so I can be a part of my (Now 5 & 8 year old) children grow-up.
I have been sending resumes and paying LiveCareer a ton of Money for 6 Years (?) and last week HR Colleagues at DISNEY, ESPN, ABC, and NBC told me that the ATS format is making my extensive (TV) (EMMY AWARD WINNING) experience Unorganized, Confusing, and not Referenceable.

Also told that many companies see this and remove my Resume from consideration Immediately & Forever.

Then as I try to fix this... Not only are you harassing me for More $ (+/- $1K Thus Far - Paying for Every Google Extension separately for some reason) I keep getting warnings that LiveCareer (AutoApply) is not supported by Chrome. Last time I checked LiveCareer were both Google Products.

I was wondering why I was getting follow-ups on every FREE site job search (Indeed/LinkedIn/Glassdoor) other than LiveCareer.

Cherry on the top... Wife and I spent 5 hours trying to remedy this yesterday and then I go to log on this AM only to find out Live-Career did not save any changes because (BILLING/Expired Credit Card - Why would I find that After I logged off?

Worst experience
I used their website for a day to build my resume, and paid 3$ which I feel is fair. LiveCareer charged me 25$ after 2 weeks which seems their policy. I spoke to their customer service and the guy was polite and promised me the money will be refunded. Which never happened, so I had to get with my bank and dispute the charge Looks like they fought back with BOA and reverted the charge. Their customer service is outsourced and the sweet words are a lie. I would suggest to be careful, they were unwilling to send any details thru email when I called them again regarding the same.

The resume creating experience was very good, although it is annoying that it's required that it is required of you to have something in the "Employer" column, even though some of the work may be volunteer work on a resume. Also, i feel as though needing to purchase a subscription for this is unnecessary for my situation - I am a student and using this site and downloading this resume is part of my course. So maybe a function could be added where organizations or school boards can purchase a licence or something along those lines and those organizations can allow their students access to a set amount of resumes.

Re New subscription
I would suggest that since you have peoples email address on file that you give a courtesy notification a couple of weeks in advance of the anniversary to let people know LiveCareer are about to be charged again for a subscription. After 1 year most people have found a job and might not need your service and then the charge shows up on their bank statement or credit card. However David was able to help me resolve this matter quickly I appreciate his courteous manner.

Deceptive Company
Watch out if you join livecareer.com. I joined to write a resume and tried to unsubscribe a month later. I did not want to keep paying the monthly fee when I was no longer using the site. When I canceled online the site sent me to a different page after pressing "cancel subscription button", the next page asked me if I was sure I wanted to cancel which I clicked yes. I was then taken to yet another page which looked like a review of how my resume was written. I did not scroll to the bottom of the page where I was once again asked if I was sure I wanted to cancel? I had thought I was done. 6 months later I saw on a bank statement I was still being charged every month since I had though I had canceled. I had to call on the phone and cancel. Reputable company do not play games. Think about this when you subscribe.

If your going to help ppl that are in dire situation...
If your going to help ppl that are in dire situation then help. Everything doesn't have to come with a cost. If i charged everyone for my knowledge i would be beyond financial gainful successful. Be a person of character and not a person of personal gain. God blessed you to bless others. All blessings are not blessings from our God. And you may not be a man/woman of God but one thing for sure. You wake up every morning and that is a blessing. Just as you are given, it is written it can be taken away.
