Well 1st I want to just say that I am not here reviewing an item... because it was never shipped out to me. I spent 12 weeks waiting for a "special order"...

My initial purchase was expected to be received within 6-8 weeks... after the 8th week I called and called to ask about the status of my order... and got the same response..."please call back next week, it's still in production " or " someone will call you back"...

I have never purchased anything from living spaces... and probably never will. I am very big on excellent client services ( I did retail for a long time).
It was awful from the moment I placeD my first call... lets just hope I actually get my refund.

Terrible and Unethical Company
Please DO NOT purchase anything from any Living Spaces stores. You will do yourself a big favor. Living Spaces will literally steal your month, double charge you, not deliver the right product and won't refund the money they stole. I went through a big ordeal with their in store manage and their corporate employees and my issues is still not resolved 3 weeks later. Management is extremely rude and if there is a discrepancy in your order, they don't believe you because the in store system does not talk to the corporate system. They don't see the same information so they try to charge you more if you are doing an exchange. Do not support this business. Support small stores that will give you personal attention and care. Living Spaces is a terrible business that I hope will go out of business.

AWFUL COMPANY
If I could give less than a 1 star review, I would. I ordered a bed from them, getting delivery scheduled was impossible. Finally got it scheduled for a Saturday, Living Spaces attempted to deliver at 11 am when delivery time was scheduled 3-7. We obviously were not home and never received a call. We rescheduled for the following week on Wednesday, confirmed, they moved it to Thursday without letting me know. Finally Thursday came, the delivery team was so unprofessional, rude and tossed the boxes against my CAR and left. Finally got the bed inside on our own, when they were supposed to do it, it was entirely broken, headboard completely torn apart. I contacted the company, took 2 weeks for them to process it and they finally informed me once I called multiple times, the bed was on backorder and I would not receive a new bed for TWO MONTHS, I chose to get a refund instead. They stated the bed wouldn't be picked up for TWO WEEKS and I would have to wait until the company received the bed back for a refund, ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. I finally talked to someone and he let me know he would get the refund processed prior to pick up since I have had such a rough time, this was untrue. Fast forward to two days ago(a pick up date I never confirmed but made it work), the company will not pick up the bed because it is not in the original packaging. I DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING SINCE THE BOX AND BED WERE DAMAGED AND IT HAS BEEN A MONTH. I still have no refund, a broken bed and down $1,000. AWFUL COMPANY. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

Floor Model Discount
Today, my wife and I went to shope for a couple of items, namely a recliner. After spending about an hour at the location trying out different chairs we made a selection. We then looked for a dresser and a chest of drawers, we found the two items we needed and a salesman began to write up the ticket. He started looking for delivery dates and soon he advised us that the $950.00 chest of drawers was no longer available at the warehouse. He explained that the floor model was the only one, he also told us that it could not be included in the delivery of which I was paying a seperate fee. The chest needed to be picked by me, I asked if I would get a discount since I was purchasing a floor model and one which I would have to pick up with the assistance of someone else and a truck or trailer. He called his floor manager and a young man "Joel" came over and inspected the chest, after the inspection he deemed the chest not damaged so therefore no discount would be applied. I explained to him that I was buying $3,000.00 worth of product which I was paying a fee for delivery which this item would not be included and I would have to pickup on my own. I told him I would have to borrow a truck, or get a trailer and ask a friend for help to pickup an item which Living Spaces could not deliver even though I was paying a delivery fee. Joel, would not balk and said he was doing me a favor because if he gave me a discount, the warranty on the furniture would be void. He was looking out for my future purchase. 10% of the 950.00 purchase is $95.00, but the overall purchase was going to be closer to $3,000.00. We decided to walk away from this deal!

Won't even hold another item when they damaged the first!
I spent my whole Saturday driving over 150 miles to inspect curio cabinets at various Living Spaces stores. I needed two. Found two. Purchased two, scheduled delivery full service. While loading one of the items on the truck for delivery Living Spaces damaged it to the point that it is unsellable. They can not get another they say. They have two other similar items shipping to them at the end of March 2021 - it is Feb 23,2021 as I write this. When they come in they will NOT hold them, call me so I can come look at them, and if in good shape, BUY THEM FROM THEM! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You damage an item that the customer has been waiting 6 months to find, then you won't hold another in order for most likely (unless damaged or color doesn't match the base of the cabinet - long story) sell two of the items... That $3K. What is WRONG with these people/Business! They treat customers like crap and do nothing for them when they screw up. All businesses run into issues. It is how you FIX them. Take care of your customers and they will continue to further your success. Treat them like crap and you end up with bad reviews that other potential customers will see and NOT spend their hard earned money with you. Stupid is what the management of Living Spaces is. Customer Service lessons, you can find plenty on the web for free, do you care to drive business and success? THINK Living Spaces, and pull your head out and turn it on!

RECEIVED A BROKEN ITEM and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
I ordered a mirror online and received it on 9/06 but the item arrived broken. I saw the pieces of the mirror already on the floor where it was dropped of. I didnt know that the item was delivered since i was never ask for a signature and the delivery person just ringed the door bell.

So i called to report the issue and i was asked to place a case and uploaded pictures and i did. Since then i have been calling every week to get an update from them but i always get the same answer that - too wait since Living Spaces have been backed up.

Until last week 09/25 i called again and the representative told me that the status of my item is that - The living spaces is waiting for my return for me to get a refund. (First of all, i did not ask for a refund i ask for a replacement and second not even one representative told me anything about it! No calls or emails from them!) So i told that to the representative and he gave me another answer which is — they cannot replace the item since its out of stock and my money is now store credited and i have to choose another item from the website. I said i dont see anyting that i like and if he can just refund my money. He clearly said "sure let me process that for you. Few minutes he told me the system wont let him process the refund and a manager will contact me about it. So i agree and never get any call from them after that.

Its been 1 week and a half now since that last call i had with them. So i call back today and i was told that the status of my case is "i have to return the item to the store for my refund" I was so mad since my house is 1.5 hours away from living spaces and second i dont have a big car to fit that 5 feet mirror! So i told them i am very willing to return if they can send a carrier or anybody to pickup it up where i live since it wasnt my fault that the item arrived broken and there is no way i will spend any money and time to return that! But the representative keeps telling me that i have to return it to the store! This is crazy! Such a horrible customer service! I said if i can just speak with a manager since i am not willing to wait anymore! He even repeated 5 times or so that he is a lead of the team so i dont have to speak with a manager since i will get a same information! And i said since he is the lead he should know the process or how to handle this issue! He said he will call me back within 5 mins and ask somebody on what will be the next step! Its been 1 hour now and no call back from that person!

I've purchased a lot from living spaces and i was so disappointed that they cannot even help me with this issue! I NEVER EVER experience any kind of this kind customer service in my life! I dont usually review anything but this one is worth a review to give people a reminder and maybe this might be helpful to others too!

LIVING SPACES clearly do not care for their customer!

They Schedule a Delivery Date 3 Weeks Out then on the Day Of, They Call and Say it's Backordered
I will never order anything from this company again. I ordered my daughter a sectional sofa, she had a confirmed delivery date of today. Yesterday Living Spaces texted her with her delivery window. This morning she gets a call from the delivery person saying that they cannot make the delivery because the sofa part of the sectional is on backorder and they will not have an ETA until the end of this month. So, I call to cancel and they say that I can't cancel for free. Only after asking for a manager and threatening to dispute the charge on my credit card did she magically refund my purchase. Complete incompetence and disregard for customer service.

Cancellation policy!
Be aware of cancellation policy or return on orders at Living Spaces. I have purchase the entire living room set and had decided to cancel my order after four days due to furnitures will not fit my living room correct and will be blocking part of my fireplace. It is a connected sectional so I can't change the layout. Unfortunately I have to paid 25% none refundable, cost me around $500. Living Spaces told me I did signed the terms. I did remember signing paper, but the sale lady didn't explain to me the return policy, if I would know I wouldn't purchase that day until I am for sure. Very sad that I had to paid that much for nothing. I will never go back there again to purchase anything else. Customer services is not of any help either.

FED UP WITH LIVING SPACES
Am writing this review with lot of Frustration on Living Spaces and their quality, am completely fed up with their process and Quality, I Purchased a Leather sofa on 22/11/2020 and opted for all the option including care free, by paying total $3457. 89, and Living Spaces delivered me a damaged sofa, and all story begins from here, the delivery guys just delivered and went, when i asked them about damage they said Living spaces will contact me on this, I waited for about 2 weeks no call from Living spaces, so I have to call them back on CS and informed about damage and they offered me for replacement, that replacement came after 10 days and that sofa was also damaged, they offered me one more replacement, again I agreed, but this time the guy who came to deliver me the sofa was very rude to me as I asked him to wear his shoe covers and he was almost in fight with me and@ some point of time I thought I call 911 but I thought that's not correct and called living spaces and complained about them, but by that time the guy who came to my home for delivery left without delivering the sofa and gave some wrong info to Customer care and also they left my existing sofa disassembled@ my home, again they called me and offered for replacement, I agreed it came after 5 days but bad luck it was damaged again then I demanded for managers call and resolution for my issue not the solution, the manager called me after 2 days, I explained her what we have been through and also there was no action on the guy who misbehaved with us, she agreed and offered me again for replacement and said guys will do all the inspection in wear house this time and send the sofa without any damage also offed me $150 gift coupon mailed to me, which I did not see till today, and this time they have not sent full sofa they sent only damaged part for replacement, yesterday after waiting for 5 hours they came for delivery and bad luck it was bigger damage then what we have so we returned it! Now they are calling me and saying they can give $117 discount as if am waiting for discount and be happy with damaged sofa, so HOW TO TRUST LIVING SPACES? THEY DON'T TAKE RESPONCIBILITY and for us there is a Disclaimer: EVERY TIME DUIRING THE DELIVERY WINDOW OF 6 TO 8 HOURS WE NEED TO STAY HOME AND WAITING FOR THEM, IF NOT THEY WILL NOT DELIVERY AND WE NEED TO BEAR THE EXTRA COST FOR NEXT WINDOW, THIS REPEATED FOR 5 TIMES WHO WILL GIVE THAT TIME BACK TO US?

I DON'T TRUST OR RECOMMEND LIVING SPACES ANY MORE, GUYS BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU GET IN THERE.

Terrible communication and customer service
I've had multiple friends and family purchase furniture from Living Spaces and was excited to purchase my couch and ottoman from them. When I ordered my couch, it had a delivery date 3 weeks away (this was NOT a customized couch and was one in stock). When I placed my order or looked online at my order history it all confirmed my delivery date and that I would receive a call 24 hours prior to narrow my delivery window. Finally, the afternoon before my scheduled delivery date I called Living Spaces because I had not heard from them. I waited on hold an hour and was told my
Ottoman was pushed out a few weeks. I said that was fine, but I needed my couch (I've been without a couch for a month). I was then informed Living Spaces couldn't deliver the in stock couch for another 6 days. When I asked for a manager I was told I'd get a call that evening or first thing the following morning. The following morning... nothing. I called, was told there was a 17 minute wait time and after 56 minutes got hung up on prior to speaking to a representative. I called back, was told a 39 minute wait and after an hour got to a representative, Hayley. She was the ONLY helpful person I spoke with. She was able to get my delivery scheduled for 3 days after the original date. When she transferred me to a manager to discuss my dissatisfaction at customer service and communication, I spoke with Laura. She offered me the most insincere, lackluster apology. When I mentioned that I felt like more should be done to try to rectify the service, Laura got snippy, said she would send me a $25 gift card. At no point did I receive any type of communication regarding delays or one of my items being back ordered. The customer service has been terrible, again with the exception of Hayley. Honestly, some sincerity regarding the apology and acknowledgment that their team dropped 50 different balls, would have been nice to hear. I'm extremely disappointed and doubt I'll ever shop there again.

Worst purchasing/delivery experience, EVER.
Gosh - where do I begin? Worst online furniture purchasing/delivery experience, by far. Purchased a sectional on June 5th from Living Spaces. We were told it was back-ordered and we'd wait at least 1-2 months for it... but we loved it, so we were fine with that. Couch actually came in early at the end of June (25th) and delivery was scheduled for July 8th with XPO. I rec'd a ton of delivery confirmations from XPO that day, but our sectional didn't show. To make it worse, we didn't get any calls from XPO to inform us as to what happened. We contacted XPO's main office at least 20 times that day to see the status of our delivery and were continuously told 'driver is in traffic', 'there are 2 more deliveries before you', 'it'll be there by 10pm'. The next day I tried to contact both XPO and Living Spaces. I was hung up on constantly calling the XPO national office after those helping me realized Living Spaces couldn't reach the XPO Urbancrest Warehouse due to the phone being turned off. I somehow was able to contact several XPO offices in Columbus, OH before getting the direct number to the OM for Urbancrest XPO who apologized stating the sectional had in fact been damaged and the drivers forgot to call/notify me, and that their phone line isn't currently set up due to a recent move. I was told I'd be notified again when sectional was back in and ready to be delivered. In the meantime, I did contact the XPO 'home delivery help' email I've seen on other reviews, where I was basically told 'XPO dropped the ball'. I figured at this point, I would just have to wait for another couch. Several days go by and I receive no email or call about what had happened or if a new couch was ordered. I contacted Living Spaces to get confirmation about what had happened - I was told that the sectional was in fact damaged and would have to be back-ordered again, which means it will not come in until mid-late August, then it will be shipped, and then ANOTHER delivery w/ XPO will have to be scheduled and completed. I called Living Spaces again a week later after putting in a replacement order to verify status just in case. Living Spaces tells me that my order appears to be delivered and that no replacement order has been made. I am put on hold to 'get a manager', but none are available, so I'm told a manager will reach out within 3 days. 3 days, REALLY?! I call back because I am not satisfied with the answer I rec'd, and wait on hold again and speak with someone else with Living Spaces who tells me that no replacement order for the couch was put in because XPO didn't send pictures. As I beg and plead for a manager, I am told to wait on hold to see if a manager is available. I am then informed that a manager was available and they are viewing my case now and will call me back within the hour. Never called, nothing. I contacted the Operational Manager at the Urbancrest Warehouse again regarding this issue, who stated pictures were already sent to Living Spaces when sectional was damaged. So now we are left with no couch and no refund. As a paying customer, this is just ridiculous. I don't think I've seen worse business and lack of communication. We paid thousands for a sectional, have spent countless hours on the phone with XPO and Living Spaces, and the least we can do is get some answers.We will now be seeking legal action for this. Terrible!

TERRIBLE Customer Service
I ordered two bedside tables and a dresser in February. Everything was delivered in mid-March. The bedside tables looked fine, but the dresser came damaged. Living Spaces came in late-May to take the old dresser away and bring a replacement. The new dresser (the replacement for the first damaged one) was SO DAMAGED that we can't even take it out of the box. Here I am now in late June and I still can't get a manager to help me either replace or refund it. Currently it looks like I've lost the money and now I'm stuck with a very very heavy piece of useless furniture. I'll probably have to get the credit card company involved and dispute.

No Warranties on BEDS, Settlement checks (Not near worth the problem)
I bought a $5000 vibrating bed with recline from Living spaces 2 years ago on the extended warranty. The Vibrator part of the bed stopped working, took them weeks to send someone out, then months to offer me a "settlement" of $375, instead of replacing the bed, or repairing the vibrator function. BUYER BEWARE, this company has no customer support, no Technical support, and if you buy a bed you GOT IT, and the best you will get is a Settlement when it breaks and IT WILL BREAK If you use it. Worst company ever to do business with, all Living Spaces care about is taking your money and not helping when their products FAIL. BUYER BEWARE.

WORST EXPERIENCE
The absolute worst and disappointing experience on all levels. After FOUR months of chasing and looking for answers regarding my order, I am STILL waiting for resolution. I placed my order on on January 21st. I was scheduled to have my order delivered on February 4th between 9am and 1pm. After waiting all day for my order, nobody showed up. No update or call. No one to answer the phone. NOTHING. I then kept receiving calls letting me know "my order is ready to be delivered" and advising me to schedule a delivery time (this happened MULTIPLE times throughout the past 4 months with nobody showing up each time). When I finally reach someone a week later, Living Spaces tell me that it was not delivered because the the RAF Chaise is missing and they are requesting a replacement. Then, weeks later I get a call asking if I would still like to proceed with my order. I say yes. I still want my order. They tell me they are sending out a replacement and I will receive BOTH items between the last week of March or first week of April. Well, finally they show up with my order EXCEPT they only delivered HALF of the sofa (RAF chaise). They tell me that this is the only item they have and there is nothing else. When I called Living Spaces, they blamed the shipping company. When I called the shipping company XPO, they blame Living Spaces. I have been getting the run around the past FOUR MONTHS with ZERO answers. So then, LS tells me that I need to return the RAF Chaise that I received because I will not be receiving the missing LAF sofa. Mind you, I have had the chaise in my house now for 1 month which has been used (which I made sure they knew this). Being that I had NO intentions of returning because I was under the impression that I would receive the missing LAF sofa at some point. SO now I have half a sofa sitting in my home and they tell me I need to return the used Chaise that I received in order to be refunded. OK fine, I don't want half of a sofa in my home anyways. BUT now when I call to have the item picked up, they tell me the ticket is closed. BUT WAIT, now they tell me that the shipping company does not accept items that are not in their original packaging. The fact that nobody can give me a clear answer is unreal. I have been completely scammed and screwed over for 4 months and they REFUSE to refund me. With all of the major inconveniences, lack of clarity and communication and the time I have spent chasing these people, I should be refunded in full regardless of the return (and trust me I don't want half of a sofa). This is an absolute disgrace and disgust. I have never experienced anything like this. Just when I thought my experience can't get worse, it does every time I get a hold of someone. Unreal.

Horrible customer service
I purchased a sectional online August 5th. My delivery window was from 8/18-8/27. It is 9/8 today and I have not heard a word from them. I have called each day and no one answers the phone. This has to be the worse online purchase that I have dealt with. I wouldn't be as upset if someone answered the phone but I only get a stupid song that plays continuously. After calling every day and waiting more then 1 hr on the phone to speak to someone I give up! Called my bank and disputed this purchase. You were fast to withdrawal $1500 from my account but cannot even email or answer customers calls not to mention my delivery window is now 11 days passed. I will never order from your site again! So disgusted

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
Horrible experience! I ordered Sept. 19 for shipment to Michigan. Was supposed to be shipped beginning of October. It took so long for delivery, I had actually moved over an hour away from original listed address. Living Spaces had to use 3rd party shipping company as it is so far away from California. As soon as I received email to schedule shipping date,, I responded to email and asked them to change address. Supposed to be delivered Oct. 31. I also called XPO Oct. 19 to change delivery address and I thought everything was fine. Supposed to get a call with time window for delivery the night before. I never received a call, so I called XPO to verify. They had the wrong address still so I tried to change. She told me she could not change it and I had to contact Living Spaces to change. I called Living Spaces, and she told me she could not change it as it had already been sent out. I called XPO back and after fighting with me, she told me address was changed and it would be delivered next day. I called the next morning just to verify, and they still had the wrong address! She said she could not change it but put a comment in the delivery section with correct address. I then got a call from driver that he was 40 minutes away. Again, I asked to verify that he was going to correct address. He stated he was going to the old address! I told him that was not correct and he said he had to contact his boss to see what he should do and he would give me a call back in 10 minutes. Never got a call and no furniture was ever delivered. I called Living Spaces later that night to just cancel the whole order! She then told me that Living Spaces rep would have been the one to change the address, and that her supervisor was going to speak to the rep who told me she couldn't. I told them I do not want to deal with XPO or Living Spaces and I wanted to cancel the whole order and send it back and get a refund. She then informed me I would need to pay 10% restocking fee if I wanted to return the order. Absolutely ridiculous as none of it was my fault and noone could make it right. Will NEVER recommend to anyone! Oh yeah and also XPO keeps calling me to schedule the delivery even though I thought I canceled the order! I now have to wait for the furniture to get back to California before I receive a refund. So frustrated! All I wanted was nice furniture for my new home!

Horrid customer service
We ordered a special order sectional, ottoman, and chair July 3rd and were told it would be 6-7 weeks to receive. After 14 weeks, we finally got our sectional and ottoman... but no chair. Today it has been 18 weeks since our order was placed and was told that the chair is missing and needs to be reordered. I was told that Living Spaces would give me a credit of $100 bringing the price down to $850 for the chair and it would be ELEVEN TO TWELVE WEEKS to receive it. No thank you! I'm disgusted at how poorly ran this business is. Hot garbage! Also, customer service is trash. I was told so many times "we will call you back" and just never got a response! Unacceptable.

One of the worst and sneakiest business
Living spaces has to be one of the worst places to do business. Their customer service is crap. Their orders are never on time. We had to wait 2 extra months to get our furniture which was promised within 2 weeks. We had to give multiple calls to even get an update. But that's not even the worst of it. Living Spaces offer a 0% apr on their furniture. BEWARE when you opt for this. Because they attach some sort of a promotion to it which expires before your entire pay off period. If your pay off period is 18 months, your promotion for 0% apr expires in 12 months I was never informed about this and ended up being charged more than what I purchased because of course the promotion ran out before the total amount was paid off. One of the sneakiest bloody business that I have ever dealt with. No thank you. I will get my furniture at Ikea and I won't even care when I have to get new ones in a couple years! Sneaky and worst!

Nightmare

I bought different stuff with almost $5000 for my new house and my nightmare started with my disable son's daybed when there are getting out from the box to find the bed is completely damaged and my sone should sleep on the couch till end of July. Then the unresponsabl customer care employee called to with very bad attitude. Warning me that the call is recorded and asked me if I want to cancel the order.
Secondly when I opened the dresser to put my stuff I found the one of the drawers is completely damaged from inside by had been fixed with glue and couple of screws.
Today was the most worst day I called to confirm the daybed and the living room to be shocked that the bed will not be delivered before mid or end of july. And after when the delivery truck arrived Living Spaces start to arrange the livingroom I have been told that small mistake happened as one of the sofa came without legs and I have to accept as is till they bring me the legs after one week or they will take the both sofas back to the wearhouse.
I called the customer service and showed alot of sadness on her voice and asked me to wait 2 minutes to call the supervisor and she kept me on the waiting up to 40 min then she hanged on me.
I called back to talk to a very careless person and when I asked him to solve my problems he said that they will send me $100 voucher.
The conclusion dont buy anything from this bad place unless you are ready for new nightmare.

Lying scumbag company
This place is a DISGRACE. Living Spaces have lied to me now 4 separate times. Long story short, I bought a $1,000 rug, upon purchase was told it had a 1 year warranty. After 3 months of light use, it starts falling apart. Call after call to the warranty department, the first TWO associates confirm I have a year warranty I should be good. End result? Lying scumbag managers saying nope, there is nothing they can do. Shameless bastards! Rugs to them are "just accessories" at $1,000 price tag mind you and they are realllll sorry. Wont even give me a freaking discount on a replacement! You should avoid living spaces at all costs. I am taking them to small claims court and I have reporter their misinformation and fraud to the better business bureau. Avoid the heartless, ruthless, corrupt company at all costs!
