My initial purchase was expected to be received within 6-8 weeks... after the 8th week I called and called to ask about the status of my order... and got the same response..."please call back next week, it's still in production " or " someone will call you back"...
I have never purchased anything from living spaces... and probably never will. I am very big on excellent client services ( I did retail for a long time).
It was awful from the moment I placeD my first call... lets just hope I actually get my refund.
So i called to report the issue and i was asked to place a case and uploaded pictures and i did. Since then i have been calling every week to get an update from them but i always get the same answer that - too wait since Living Spaces have been backed up.
Until last week 09/25 i called again and the representative told me that the status of my item is that - The living spaces is waiting for my return for me to get a refund. (First of all, i did not ask for a refund i ask for a replacement and second not even one representative told me anything about it! No calls or emails from them!) So i told that to the representative and he gave me another answer which is — they cannot replace the item since its out of stock and my money is now store credited and i have to choose another item from the website. I said i dont see anyting that i like and if he can just refund my money. He clearly said "sure let me process that for you. Few minutes he told me the system wont let him process the refund and a manager will contact me about it. So i agree and never get any call from them after that.
Its been 1 week and a half now since that last call i had with them. So i call back today and i was told that the status of my case is "i have to return the item to the store for my refund" I was so mad since my house is 1.5 hours away from living spaces and second i dont have a big car to fit that 5 feet mirror! So i told them i am very willing to return if they can send a carrier or anybody to pickup it up where i live since it wasnt my fault that the item arrived broken and there is no way i will spend any money and time to return that! But the representative keeps telling me that i have to return it to the store! This is crazy! Such a horrible customer service! I said if i can just speak with a manager since i am not willing to wait anymore! He even repeated 5 times or so that he is a lead of the team so i dont have to speak with a manager since i will get a same information! And i said since he is the lead he should know the process or how to handle this issue! He said he will call me back within 5 mins and ask somebody on what will be the next step! Its been 1 hour now and no call back from that person!
I've purchased a lot from living spaces and i was so disappointed that they cannot even help me with this issue! I NEVER EVER experience any kind of this kind customer service in my life! I dont usually review anything but this one is worth a review to give people a reminder and maybe this might be helpful to others too!
LIVING SPACES clearly do not care for their customer!
I DON'T TRUST OR RECOMMEND LIVING SPACES ANY MORE, GUYS BE CAREFUL BEFORE YOU GET IN THERE.
Ottoman was pushed out a few weeks. I said that was fine, but I needed my couch (I've been without a couch for a month). I was then informed Living Spaces couldn't deliver the in stock couch for another 6 days. When I asked for a manager I was told I'd get a call that evening or first thing the following morning. The following morning... nothing. I called, was told there was a 17 minute wait time and after 56 minutes got hung up on prior to speaking to a representative. I called back, was told a 39 minute wait and after an hour got to a representative, Hayley. She was the ONLY helpful person I spoke with. She was able to get my delivery scheduled for 3 days after the original date. When she transferred me to a manager to discuss my dissatisfaction at customer service and communication, I spoke with Laura. She offered me the most insincere, lackluster apology. When I mentioned that I felt like more should be done to try to rectify the service, Laura got snippy, said she would send me a $25 gift card. At no point did I receive any type of communication regarding delays or one of my items being back ordered. The customer service has been terrible, again with the exception of Hayley. Honestly, some sincerity regarding the apology and acknowledgment that their team dropped 50 different balls, would have been nice to hear. I'm extremely disappointed and doubt I'll ever shop there again.
I bought different stuff with almost $5000 for my new house and my nightmare started with my disable son's daybed when there are getting out from the box to find the bed is completely damaged and my sone should sleep on the couch till end of July. Then the unresponsabl customer care employee called to with very bad attitude. Warning me that the call is recorded and asked me if I want to cancel the order.
Secondly when I opened the dresser to put my stuff I found the one of the drawers is completely damaged from inside by had been fixed with glue and couple of screws.
Today was the most worst day I called to confirm the daybed and the living room to be shocked that the bed will not be delivered before mid or end of july. And after when the delivery truck arrived Living Spaces start to arrange the livingroom I have been told that small mistake happened as one of the sofa came without legs and I have to accept as is till they bring me the legs after one week or they will take the both sofas back to the wearhouse.
I called the customer service and showed alot of sadness on her voice and asked me to wait 2 minutes to call the supervisor and she kept me on the waiting up to 40 min then she hanged on me.
I called back to talk to a very careless person and when I asked him to solve my problems he said that they will send me $100 voucher.
The conclusion dont buy anything from this bad place unless you are ready for new nightmare.
Go to better and professional places
