Legit store, BUT BEWARE!
For the first time I've ordered from them, it took more than the 2-3 days (it mentions on the website) for the item to ship out. Lucy in the Sky did also mention it would be within 10 days since they're working with new suppliers. So I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt since they responded promptly. Now this second time I ordered 2 items. The first item shipped and I received it but ended up wanting to return it. I had to contact customer service again, which helped me get a pre-paid label to return. One of the negative things about returns are it's only for store credit rather than a full refund. Since shipping is free, I advise purchasing one thing at a time if you want to try it out unless you're certain you want to buy from them again if it doesn't work out.

My second item did not ship yet. Two weeks later, I contacted them and they gave me store credit for taking so long. It's been over a month and nothing yet. I had to contact them again and they instead gave me a full refund since they couldn't get the item in stock.

I really want to give them more stars if they shipped their items in time! The customer service was good and their items are good. Not China cheap but nothing fancy either. I want to say the quality so far has been comparable to your typical H&M, Forever21, etc. Some items better than others in quality.

Just beware if you want an item that is time-sensitive, you might not get it in time. I ordered at least 2 weeks early for an event and ended up having to find something else because it took so long to get.

Worst customer service experience by far!
I ordered a dress back in April, a month in advance from my graduation ceremony. I made sure the expected delivery date worked for me before purchasing as well. After asking about my shipping status multiple times, I was told it was arriving late and Lucy in the Sky proceed to tell me they wanted to cancel my order. Given that my graduation ceremony was days away, I said that was fine and asked for a refund since I wouldn't be needing the dress. The next day out or curiosity I asked them on Instagram why my order was canceled and they literally took the time to screenshot my entire conversation with them on Instagram and send it back to me and said, "you're the one who asked for a refund". Which was of course wrong. I only asked for a refund AFTER they recommended me to cancel it. Long story short, they were very rude on Instagram and seemed like they just wanted to continue arguing with me. No professionalism whatsoever.

Also if you go on their Instagram and look at their comments, they delete comments where customers who are concerned are asking about their orders/refund etc. Super sketchy if you ask me. Will never buy from them again.

If I could give zero stars I would.
I really wanted to love this company and I'm sure the dresses are great but the customer service as well as the shipping are awful.

When my dress didn't arrive by the latest estimated delivery date I emailed the company. As it turns out it had not even been shipped yet as Lucy in the Sky did not even have it in stock when I purchased it. As this dress was for a time sensitive occasion I was absolutely floored that the company would just sell me a dress and not mention on the website that I was basically preordering it for when they had it back in stock. Which I obviously would not have done if I had known it would restock more than a month after I ordered it. I feel absolutely mislead thinking I was ordering my dress two months early to make sure it fit and such, just to find out it won't even be arriving until a mere few days before.

I'm incredibly disappointed that to boot the customer service was so short with me and only offered a 25 dollar credit for future purchases but wouldn't credit it to the dress. So when you're unhappy they basically just give you money to spend with them so you order again. That to me is simply not customer service, and I will not be buying from them again as there are plenty of places that are actually transparent with the customer nor would I reccomend the company to a friend. Just not reliable.

Love this online store!
Lucy in the Sky is my favorite online dress store. My daughter, who is in high school, often has trouble finding dresses she likes that fit her well, but for her last three dances, we've found great dresses on lucyinthesky.com. Another thing I love is the superb customer service and return policy! Just recently my daughter needed a dress for a dance, and the first one was too small, so we easily sent pack (did not pay for postage), and we chose a new one. The new dress was shipped in a timely manner, but unfortunately, that dress was too big. Because we were running out of time, I emailed and worked with Pasha, who was so helpful! She offered to credit our account as soon as we shipped the dress, which she did, and we were able to have a third dress shipped out the very next day. Thankfully the third dress is PERFECT! I highly recommend Lucy in the Sky!

Buyer beware!
I thought a month and half would be enough time to get a dress in time! NOPE, ordered 2 dresses - 1 came in a timely manner but unfortunately didn't fit shipped back immediately it's been more than 10 days still no store credit emailed to me. It's been over a month and still the second dress hasn't even shipped! My event has come and gone. I think I just got duped! Lost $133! This company should do the right thing and at least give me my money back for the second dress that never arrived. I just emailed them hoping Lucy in the Sky do the right thing! Stay tuned. If they do the right thing and give me my money back on something I never received I will let you know,

Shipping delay and no customer service contact info
Ordered dresses on Sept 10th, 2021 and still have not shipped. I have contacted this company a dozen times trying to get shipping information on my orders. I have received only two replies back stating Lucy in the Sky cannot expedite orders but no follow up. No phone number to contact. I have no idea if my orders will ship in time. The 3 dresses in question were not out of stock and they have already taken my money. Now I am not getting a response back from them at all and it has been 48 hours their allotted time to follow up. I ordered a new dress yesterday from another company and it shipped within 2 hours. Can someone please contact me back. Unsatisfied with customer service.

Weird Sizing, BEWARE RETURNS
Their sizing was NOT up to par for me. I'm anywhere between a medium and a large, and I ordered a large which was approximately the size of a doll outfit. A friend of mine who is an XS/S fit into it decently well. I returned the items only to realize that Lucy in the Sky were store credit only which frustrated me because I obviously wouldn't fit into any of the clothes. The clothes themselves were of OK quality- nothing amazing, and I probably wouldn't pay that price for the piece even if it had fit.

I explained my situation to their team, and they seemed really helpful and offered to give me a full refund. I was thrilled! However, the refund they said would take 10 days has taken over a month so far. I also have had to contact them multiple times to re-explain that they offered me a refund and not store credit as they initially tried to give me a voucher (that had an expiration date).

Pretty frustrating overall.

One of the worst clothing companies ive ever purchased from
1. Website is extremely buggy. I have tried over 30 min to try to add three different dresses. Site would not register the clicks to add same dress 3 times... frustrating experience. Strike one.
2. Customer service rep Maria is extremely incompetent. After order, I asked to apply a coupon code that PayPal method would not give an option to add (fault of site, and not PayPal. Go to a competent site and you can always add a code using PayPal method). She says she adds it and provides partial refund. Three days later I'm waiting for my order. I check on it. TURNS OUT THE ORDER WAS CANCELLED. I had a vacation I wanted them ordered for. Strike 2. No warning. She basically replies "oOoPpSyY".
3. Instead of making it up to me, she says she'll make a ticket. I'm on a time crunch. I NEED THE SITUATION HANDLED IMMEDIATELY. Not have 3-4 days for a response. Strike 3! I should have ended it there.

Pissed consumer, I just reorder 2 instead of 3. Got the dresses. They're NOT worth 50 bucks each. Way too low cut, polyester... should have considered the refund policy warning about only store credit. I'm going to make it a mission to warn other consumers. Do not be naïve and think "oh it won't happen to me". Just buy elsewhere.

Tried to be understanding but this is pure incompetence. It's been over a week and still no response from corporate about the ticket.

ALSO I was supposed to get a 140.40 refund from my first cancelled order. Up to 10 business days Lucy in the Sky say. It's been over that and surprise surprise. No refund. Filing a credit card dispute :) What a joke of a company.

Cheap Quality Clothing & Fraudulent Return Service
I received a dress in the wrong size, so Lucy in the Sky instructed me to send it back and that they'd refund me back to my original payment method. I was glad I'd just get my money back because the quality of the dress was horrible and definitely not as pictured (even worse quality than Forever 21, Target, any other affordable clothing store). Instead, they gave me a STORE CREDIT VOUCHER and insisted that I use that to buy something else. I emailed them that this was unacceptable because I was promised a refund and even sent them a screenshot of their own message promising this. They replied saying "sorry for the inconvenience and we'll issue you that refund" but over 10 days went by and I didn't receive it. I contact them again to follow up and find out that they never did attempt to issue me the refund and refuse to do so. I have never experienced this kind of service before. I hope they go out of business because they are defrauding customers.

SCAM
I placed and paid for my order 3rd of July, and Lucy in the Sky STILL HAVE NOT SHIPPED. Then weeks later, I get an email that it was on the way with no working tracking number. The reviews said that this site had gone to crap and i still placed my order because i really wanted this daydress i've been lookin at for a trip overseas. It's been two weeks. I have contacted them and sent screenshots and all they replied was 'Order number please' WHAT THE F*** WAS I THINKING buying from this crap website. They lure you in with discounts and some sort of disclaimer that they had switched suppliers so it takes a little longer to ship.
What a load of bull.
I don't even know how or when i can get my order shipped let alone get a bloody refund. What a waste of time and money!.
PS: Save yourself from this disaster of a company and order something from a respectable site.

I ordered dresses for my daughter's Sweet 16 court- for starters the shipping took forever... three out of the seven dresses had holes in them. I then ordered additional dresses because my daughter and her court were set on this dress and it was too late to look for another. I contacted customer service- Lucy in the Sky gave me a few options of having the dresses fixed (they would pay for) or I could send them back. Due to timing and not being able to wait and not have dresses on time for the Sweet 16- I ordered three more dresses just in case- After the party- I sent back 5 dresses after ensuring everyone had a dress that fit and was not damaged... Now after back and forth- I'm being given store credit for dresses I should not have even needed to buy, but bought them because the initial quality was poor. I don't want store credit, as I never plan on ordering from this company again. I want my money back.

DO NOT SHOP HERE
Need a dress in under 30 days - DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE. Ordered a dress on 11/9, I did not hear anything for a week so I sent and email and asked for my money back, Lucy in the Sky refused. They said the dress would ship early the following week. I waited until today and sent another email asking for my money back and they did not reply, this evening I received an email the order is shipping today. I will never shop here, I don't care what the dress looks like we needed it for tomorrow. The dress has not shipped, its not even in transit. Don't waste your time if you need a dress in less than a month you won't get it in time.
Over 15 days to ship 5 days or more to deliver.

Received Wrong Dress and the options on how to deal with it are a joke
First off, I ordered a Large Lavender Party Dress with Sequence. What I received was a low quality plain pink dress in a MEDIUM. Clearly not the right order. I emailed them about this and the options on how to deal were a JOKE. First, a 10 dollar store credit? For a Dress that was at LEAST 20 dollars LESS than the one I ordered? I LOSE MONEY DOING THAT. Second, a full refund if you return the dress. Understandable, EXCEPT the website is so bad I have tried to reset my password THREE TIMES and instead of getting an email about what my new password is, it ONLY tells me that it has changed, not even disclosing what it even is. How am I supposed to return it if I can't even get into my account? Would give zero stars on service. I want the dress I ordered or my money back why is it MY responsibility to deal with YOUR mistake?

Poor customer service
I ordered 2 of the same dresses for my daughter's to wear together, one an XS and one a S. Lucy in the Sky were leaving for a flight on Sunday and I was supposed to receive dresses on Sat. I tracked through FedEx and it said delayed, called FedEx and said the shipper sent it late so it was sitting in a facility and didn't make the truck so wouldn't be delivered until Monday. Had them hold the dresses and drove to FedEx facility to pick up the dresses. Got the dresses home and instead of and xs and a s I received an xs and a m so I couldn't use the m as it was too big on my one daughter. I had to run out and search for 2 different matching dresses for my girls to wear. After 4 stores and alot of aggrevation we finally found something that they had to settle for. Contacted customer service and let them know what happened, they made send pictures of the dresses which I did and said would give one refund. I told them I couldn't use either dress because of their error and had to go buy 2 new dresses and I would like to be fed under for both. Asked them to escalate and asked to speak with someone over the phone as the messages and instructions weren't very clear and it was alot of back and forth. I was told via email she was the manager and they would not make an exception. Even though it was their error. I will never use them again and I will review this site every chance I get as I notice they only reply to the reviews that are nice instead of offering resolutions to customers that are unhappy.

Amazing styles and Amazing customer service
Hi all! I'm from Washington and currently a 2nd year graduate student.
I have been purchasing so many dresses from Lucy in the Sky. There are 3 main reasons that make me want to keep a business with the shop are: 1st Their style are amazing, classy and sexy. The size always fit correctly and the quality is so worthy. 2nd shipping always come on time, at least for my experience. 3rd Amazing customer service. I am experienced with customer service of Lucy in the Sky over an issue of shipping. My order once did not come on time and I emailed their customer service. I got a reply the next day and Lucy in the Sky were very NICE and FAIR. Everything was situated very well in a great manners.
All in all. I support Lucy in the Sky and their business. They are doing an amazing job of making sure their customers are happy on top of their high quality clothing as well as their styles.

GO BUY YOUR DRESS AT LUCY IN THE SKY :) You will not be disappointed!

Wtf
I am 5'8, size L, US 10/12 typically. I ordered a size L dress and paid $25 extra to have it overnighted for an event the same week. Quick shipping was the only plus. I always wear a size L, or maybe and XL if things run particularly small, but 2 people had to pull this dress onto me and off of me because there was no zipper! Another size L friend tried it on as well, and same thing- had a team to pull it on and off, it fit like a sausage casing and you have to choose if you want to cover your top half or bottom half. We had our 5'5, size XS/S, US 2 friend try it on and it fit perfectly. Lucy in the Sky say their size S is generally the equivalent of a US 2, but I am baffled at how exclusive this sizing is. This could have been avoided if they allowed customer reviews on their website.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE
I have never had so many issues with an online store in my life. I ordered 2 dresses over 2 months ago. I did not like one of the dresses and returned it to them. I never got a confirmation that Lucy in the Sky received the return nor did they issue my money back. I had to go out of my way to email them and wait 2-3 days for a reply.
I have been waiting on the second dress, never told me why it was taking so long so I had to go out of my way AGAIN to email them. Never received a tracking number or anything. They NOW told me that they have a massive back order, and would like to issue me my refund. I need to buy a dress this week and still havent received my money back.

This whole process has been a nightmare and I will NEVER order from here again.

BUYERS BEWARE!
I ordered 2 dresses for my daughters homecoming on September 22nd, 2019 and still haven't received a shipping confirmation. I am assuming at this point, I won't have them on time. I reviewed their return policy and Lucy in the Sky only offer a STORE CREDIT on returns. I emailed with no response and the company doesn't have a customer service phone number (super sketch). I have been waiting over an hour in their "live chat" to hopefully get some answers. I made it to queue position 20 from 50 in 45 minutes and for some reason was bumped back to 72. I waited from 72 to queue position 22 and was disconnected again. This is insane! To have that many customers requesting a live chat tells me I am certainly not the only one dealing with this problem. This type of business practice is a great reminder to stick to the larger retailers for purchases. I will NEVER shop with Lucy in the Sky again!

Aida Puff Sleeve Chiffon Maxi in Black Dots
-lucy in the sky- I bought the dress as mentioned in the title of my review (Aida Puff Sleeve Chiffon Maxi in Black Dots). The information given on the website says the models are 5"9 and are all wearing smalls. I also looked at the size guide, which recommended a size small for my measurements. My bust is 31 inches(fullest part), waist is 25 inches(narrowest part of waist), hips 36 inches(widest part). Well I bought an XS. It fits perfectly everything is fitted, like a glove, not too loose not too tight. Now my hip measurement also includes my butt. People consider me to be slim thick. This dress comes with an attached short type thing that is more so an underwear type shape. The dress itself isn't stretchy, the shorts part is but this part was too small for me because of my butt. It diggs into my cheeks leaving that indention look instead of seamless. I'm 5"7 and the dress touches the floor about half an inch maybe less.

Give it a month
Customer service is AWFUL. Lucy in the Sky take days to respond, and often offer no help. One email I received after two weeks of waiting for my dress to ship stated my order had already shipped. It had not. I emailed them back asking for the tracking number. Waited 2-3 days for a one sentence response asking for my order number. If they didn't even know my order, why did the original email tell me my order had shipped? I sent my order number and waited 5 days this time. By then my order had actually shipped, and I didn't need their help anymore. Overall sketchy. I have received my dress and it is nothing special. For the price, if you order enough in advance, I'd say it's worth it. Be aware that your dress will most likely come after the estimated delivery time.

Decent company, only if you order two day shipping.
I recommend only buying from this store from their two-day delivery option and if you need an XS. I bought a prom dress from here that I was expecting a couple of days before the event. Similar to many people here, my order got delayed a week before the event. I was frustrated because I ordered a month in advance and asked them if my order would be delayed a couple of weeks after I ordered to which Lucy in the Sky said no. I was planning to write a seething review. However, I switched out my dress to one that I could order in two days(they allowed me to switch my order after I complained). I honestly still like my first dress better but the dress I switched to is nice as well. The quality is great for the price and this shop is one of the few where they have good options for my size. Overall, I have a dress and that's enough for me.
