My friend sent me a bouquet of flowers following my illness. They arrived totally dead (unbelievable). Took them to our local M & S (seven mile drive away) and they too very shocked and replaced them with another bouquet but suggested I contact Customer Services to ask for my friend to be given a refund or a gift card. Did this, very unhelpful staff member who said my friend would have to phone to complain also before any further action taken! Didn't want to disappoint her by asking her to get involved in what should have been (and was intended to be) a very nice gesture. I wouldn't order flowers from M & S at all. Have heard similar stories but not encountered it until now.
Terrible , dry and wilted dull flowers,
Should have gone to Aldi!
Absolutely shocking lack of service .
Twice recently I have tried to order flowers for special events .
A few weeks ago tried to order 3x bouquets to the same address for a family wedding . Despite advertising next day delivery ( I was ordering 3 days before ) the first delivery date was 4 days after the wedding !, plus it let me order flowers that were not available, so that was a disaster.
Today trying to order flowers for a birthday , all seemed good and order and payment taken, then a minute later an email arrives saying “ flowers out of stock” and order cancelled but no cash back for up to 5 days !!!
Shocking , why no option to amend / re order .
Never again !,
Had flowers in march very unhappy they did replace. Received another gift on Monday rang again about quality very poor. Rang again told me because I complained before. I was happy to do this and straight away . Day 4 no response from Marks Spencer. Day 5 going in the Bin . Do not use MS for flowers.
Boring and dried out and wiltered and disappointed as they were for a special birthday
They managed to get the correct day that’s what the star is for disappointing that the box delivered was the wrong way up which obviously didn’t help, surprised to see masking tape holding the bouquet together and the flowers looked battered doubt they will last the 5 days promised. These were a gift and people spend there hard earned money thinking that the flowers they have chosen actually look like the picture. Sorry M&S you have failed miserably in this case must try harder
My friend's mother died & I wanted to send a bouquet. She was very pleased & this is what they look like two weeks later.
I have always been very pleased with any flowers ordered from M&S.
Ordered the flowers for my Mum's 86th birthday, admittedly they were not expensive as they were just a small delivered gift until I could get to see her with her main present The flowers didn't look very fresh the day after delivery when I saw them, and by the 2nd day they were past their best. Unable to take pictures as I'm now back home.
Disgusting service would give zero stars if I could. Ordered flowers for daughters wedding anniversary but never arrived. Called M&S spoke to really rude man who advised they had been delivered but transpired to wrong house, said it was my fault as I must of given wrong house number which I knew I hadn't. He said he would listen to call and call me back but no call ever came. Had to chase them again next day when they did offer me refund. Postman eventually found the withered flowers in box week later under a bush down the road! Appalling service, will never order flowers from M&S again and feel really let down by the overall service.
I ordered and paid for flowerson 11th May for a lady for her 90th birthday on 13th may. She was having a cake and celebrations in the afternoon. I assured everyone that I was sending flowers from Marks and Spencer so don't order from anyone else. The flowers never arrived and I have been told that they were delivered at 6.20pm which is nonsense. So a very special birthday was ruined because Marks and Spencer failed to deliver the flowers. THUS HAS RUINED A VERY SPECIAL BIRTHDAY AND THE WHOLE FAMILY ARE VERY DISAPPOINTED.
A friend sent me the "Summer Meadow Bouquet" for my birthday last week, on arrival one third of the blooms were crushed and the leaves slimy others had broken stems.
I picked through the bunch and salvaged some cutting the stems and feeding them as instructed however after just 4 days the remaining flowers looked very sad, and droopy and I have now thrown them out.
Very embarrassing telling my friend that she should ask for her money back and I can only hope she did.
Terrible quality. Dead drooping flowers. A disgrace M&S
