The machine has some quirks that take time to get used to and learning that it does best on smooth ground. Also, I've stopped for a beverage two times for45-60 minutes after a 4-hour round and each time my buggy has run out of juice. This makes me realize it'd be impossible for my buggy to go 36 holes on one charge.
Overall I'm though I like it as it keeps me walking instead of taking a cart.

while I'm sure the item does what it is supposed to do its description says nothing about what it charges, I took a punt and hoped it may charge the Motorized buggy but not to be. maybe put a product description on the website.
I love my zip navigator. What I don't like is the fact that I had to pay for an umbrella extender to correct a design mistake. If the original umbrella holder is too short it seems to me that extenders should have been free for people that spent quite a bit of money on an electric trolley and accessories.
This cart is extremely well designed and ergonomically sound. The wheels having a free wheeling setting as well as a drive configuration makes a lot of sense for mobility purposes when the battery is not engaged or engaged. Steering with the remote is intuitive but requires a constant attention when the cart is moving. I like being able to change a cart's direction manually for minor adjustment, the MGI is determined to go straight on the line it is on, even if I attempt to move the cart by hand. It's a minor thing, but takes some getting used to. The lithium battery is a very nice feature because of its weight and ease of charging. I worry about the plastic accessories, but that is a function of time and wear and tear. Overall though, an excellent product and good value.
like what the unit can do - but the right drive motor turns slightly faster than the left - so I have to make constant adjustments to keep a steady course... hoping there is a way to re-calibrate the motor syncronization
Had another manufacturer's cart and upgraded it to the MGI unit. It cost me to upgrade but was well worth it. It is so much quieter than the prior unit and stays straight with the gyroscope tracker.
5 Stars, pa2ones
Love my zip navigator AT. I use it every week and it has over 1,500 miles on it. My only complaint is the wheels make a “creaking” noise. This is the second set of wheels and it still makes the same noise. I clean/lubricate the axles and spring latch before each use. Doesn’t affect performance just annoying. Still love my cart.
The cart itself is excellent and well designed - no complaints! The only issue is with the attachment that holds the mobile phone - it vibrates on rough ground and won't keep the phone intact. This is a bummer when you are using the USB connector and the phone with GPS.
Loving my caddy! charge lasted 18 holes, no problem. Thankful for the attachment for the remote - genius idea. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is I think the battery behind the wheels makes it tippy.
Received the MGI golf cart as a gift. It was very easy to assemble and works great. It took me a few rounds of golf to "master" the remote control. I love that I can walk the golf course and not have to carry a bag.
I love my Zip Navigator! Easy to use (probably easier if your completely read the manual before first use). It makes walking my hilly home course less strenuous than pushing a cart up hills. Inverting the wheels for storage and transporting reduces the room it takes up. Easy to clean.
The back tires need a little better traction as they spin when going uphill in wet grass. The front tires need to be a little wider apart for better stability. It also seems the bag lays back a little too much adding to the stability issue. But I like it - have had to do some tweaking with how to set the bag and put towels behind to get the bag to sit up more for more stability.
The machine works fine. Customer service is poor in the US. MGI seems to still be oriented to Australia. Difficult to find a way to talk to a representative. The virtual chat feature is with a computer, it's not live. We shouldn't have had to replace a $400 battery in less than 3 years.
It’s a very hilly course I play. Pushed a cart for some time and decided to finally purchase this gizmo. Classified it as something I should have got a long time ago. Much more enjoyable round now. Recommend to anyone.
My electric cart is attractive. The battery is easy to detach for charging. The torque is excellent. Battery life seems very good.
The cart is a little tippy. It would be good if the center of gravity was lower. On a steep upgrade the cart can tip over backwards even with the rear wheel I added a 2.5 lb weight to the shelf where the golf bag rests. A 5 lb weight would have been better. It was annoying that I had to replace my golf bag when I got the cart. I really liked the stand bag that I had. The score card holder was clearly designed by someone who never used it. It is too small for a standard scorecard to fit in. To use it one must fold the scorecard or trim it. The slot for the pencil is too form fitting. It takes a lot of effort or long fingernails.
It would be nice if the front wheels were larger in diameter. It is difficult to negotiate curbs.
I love my MGI cart; the only issue I have is customer service is failing grade; nobody ever answers phone calls. Samething happened last year it took over 4 days for a return phone call. Poor customer service.
I bought a Zip Navigator November 2021. I’ve used it 4 times. The left rear wheel caught a small twig which I immediately removed. The wheel locked up and would not operate. I was unable to disengage and push the cart. Now I’m really livid. Then I get home I use a wheel puller and get the defective wheel off. I had to use emery on the the shaft to remove a gouge. I tried to smooth the bore on the wheel but even with Never Seize lubricant will it come off easily. So after calling customer service ( I use the term loosely) it’s suggested I buy a new wheel. No warranty?
The MGI Zip Navigator arrived quickly and was fairly easy to set up with the so-so instruction book. Unfortunately, after less than 10 minutes of testing on the sidewalk around the house, it shut off and died. Luckily the Service person that I contacted the next morning was aware of the issue and quickly shipped out the necessary parts for me to repair the unit and get it running. A downside to this brand is that the only authorized repair center is in Arizona.
MGI were very responsive thru the purchasing and delivery process of my golf bag. I wanted to try to expedite delivery (and pay for it) but was told that this was not an option for them. Shipment was trackable through an app link they provided, and delivery was made timely.
I also purchased a MGI ZIP navigator at a local store and I love this product too. MGI designs and engineers great products.
It works as advertised and is built with really high-quality components. Only downfall is that I when I play on hilly courses I’ve had issues with it wanting to tip backwards. There doesn’t seem to be enough weight lower to the ground.
