Just say "no" to Modlily!
Ordered about $300 in casual loose fitting clothes. I went by the sizing charts. My bust is 43", XXL was generally shown as fitting 44" bust so I ordered all XXL. Took forever to ship- after waiting a couple weeks I went to the site and found a button that said "urge shipment". I pressed it and my package shows up a couple weeks later. Everything I tried on was much too small, and the fabrics with little to no stretch. ModLily were obviously not made for a 44" bust. I contacted them and they gave me a return ticket number and a promise to refund 60% of my $300. I took the package to the postal shop and found shipment to China is AT LEAST $150 for my package. So I went back to Modlily customer service and tell them they should send me a return shipping label because their sizes are so defective. They want pictures of the clothing measurements. I send pictures and prove that the clothing is made at about 36" to 40". Nowhere near fitting a 44" bust loosely! After going to all that trouble they respond asking if I will take some compensation, and keep the clothes and I can try to resell them. I don't have time to resell clothes! I've again asked them to make it right- still waiting for a response. I would keep the clothes if they fit. They are cheap- but I sort of expected them to be, based on the pricing. But I also expected their sizing charts to be true. They would have a lot fewer problems if they just fixed their sizing charts. I don't know why they won't do that.

Decent product for the money
I have now ordered 2 things from this website. Both were far less expensive than I could get either item in the US. One was a pair of shoes and one was a tankini type bathing suit. $20 shoes; $23 bathing suit. After I ordered I read tons of horrible reviews of this company. I understand most of them (i. E., if I had needed to return either item, it totally would have been a practically unsolvable hassle and not worth the effort given the cost of the items. Probably would be more expensive to send back to China than the item is worth. However, I did not have to return either item. The shoes are loose fitting but comfortable. The bathing suit is exactly what I expected and wanted. The bathing suit fits perfectly. I do not imagine that either will last for lots of years, but for the price, both are fabulous. It's like buying something at H&M--it can be something for 1 or 2 seasons, a kind of impulse buy with no guilt because the items are so inexpensive. It would be amazing if the company had a US clearing house address for returns; as it stands, if I ever order something else from them, it would be with the expectation that if it didn't fit or I didn't like it, it's money down the drain. But so far, I'm inclined to keep looking at this website.

Horribly Long and Unreliable Delivery- DO NOT ORDER FROM MODLILY
Modlily is HORRIBLE! Beware of ridiculously long shipping time.
I wish I had read the reviews on this site before ordering from Modlily. I am disappointed and furious about their shipping process and sizing. I placed an order with them of 4 items one and a half months before a planned trip. The order was sent in 2 packages, with the first arriving one-month later. The send was shipped out two weeks later, even after I had contracted Modlily through their crappy so-called customer service process, via their website since ModLily do not have a phone line and their hours are in the middle to the night. I have been tracking on the FedEx system my order daily and over a week went by between of that "a label being created with FedEx, and the order being shipped. No, this morning, I see on the FedEx tracking system that my order will arrive by the end-of-day on my traveling day. For package 1, the order arrived 2 days after day stated on the tracking system. This means that my order which I need for my trip, will not arrive in time. This is terrible. Had they been honest about their shipping process, I would have paid for the expedited shipping or gone elsewhere. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS AWFUL SHAMEFUL SCAN OF A COMPANY! They should warn customers about your delayed shipping if they order more than 2 items, as only two bathing suits fit on one package. I have already bought another bathing suit from another LOCAL, online company, and dealt with their higher prices, well worth the lack of frustration. Lane Bryant Cacique bathing suits are much better products and arrive in just a couple of days. I regret EVER EVER having ordered from Modlily. Shame on Modlily!

SCAMMED ME
I ordered 2 items without doing my research on them. I notified them the next day to stop the shipment which had not even been processed and finally received a message that it was stopped. ModLily will not refund my money and I have gone to my credit card company about this site. It is the same as rotita.com, lulugal.com and probably many more. They are based in China, usually don't send you anything or if they do, it's not what the pictures show, they don't refund your money, give you a return address, and not even a working phone number. They are stealing from customers and I can't get facebook to ban these scammers. They tell me to hide ads or block ads. Please let everyone you know to please don't order from any of them and do your research before ever ordering from a new site. I wish I had taken my own advice. They are also using these names: rotita.com, lulugal.com, dresslily.com, rosewe.com and many more.

They take your money then never ship the merchandise!
I ordered one item from ModLily back on March 21,20 and I still have not received as of May 14,20. I filed a complaint with them in April at the 30 day mark and ever since have only received replies back your package is in transit. In one reply ModLily expressed the following " According to our policy, if you receive the order after 30 days of latest delivery deadline, I can apply a full refund, and you can still keep the parcel when receiving them" However I have yet to see the item I ordered or a refund at this point almost 2 months later. Does appear to be a scam website, I will go through my credit card company and hopefully get my money back, should Have come here to read similar reviews first before buying. UPDATE: As other reviews have indicated I too was given a bogus tracking number that is not recognized by USPS. Indicated "Duplicate number" as they are just re-using tracking numbers as part of their scam. I have also turned in a complaint with the FTC and urge others to do the same.

Worst company and waste of money
I ordered my merchandise on February 22nd and it wasn't until the the very end of March that I finally received my items, in fact it wasn't until that following Wednesday after Easter Sunday that I received it. I tried contacting them only to have to write a ticket because ModLily don't have a live costumer support for you to inquire about your tracking number and etc. All of the items are extremely cheap and none are as pictured plus they run very small although I ordered in larger sizes. Not only that but they also sent me 2 completely different outfits from what I ordered. The clothes are paper thin, you can see through it and they don't have any tags to know sizes or kind of material. It's cheap for a reason but for all the hassle it should be free. I'm warning people NOT to order because I saw some bad reviews but decided to take a chance because the clothes look so pretty online but you don't get anything that's in the pictures. I also ordered a dress to wear for Easter Sunday and since l ordered a month and a half in advance, l just knew I'd have my clothes... NOT THE CASE. Then after having to open a complaint through PayPal, they only wanted to refund me $30 for a $130 purchase. Unless you want to wait months for your order, have no customer service to communicate with, receive the wrong items, have very cheap and thin material, extra small sizing chart as it's not the same as posted on their page then I wouldn't order from modlily. They're a complete scam, waste of time and money with added stress, hassles and headaches.

Run FAR FAR AWAY!
I have ordered clothing from many websites in the last 15 years and I have never had an experience quite like this. I feel like a fool, because I usually do my HW and research a website a bit before I order from it. I ordered 5 items from this website and all 5 were disappointing, though 3 are wearable, but trying to return the other 2 items through this company has been impossible. In trying to return those 2 very unwanted junk items I tried to go through the ticket system that ModLily have online and this proved impossible as it did not recognize my order number! I now am going through Paypal to try to get that done after writing modlily 2 lengthy emails with pictures attached, but to no avail. If you want to risk ordering cheaper clothes with the possibility that they might look bad or not fit and not be able to return any item for a refund than this crap company is for you! Otherwise - stay away and don't let the seductive pictures fool you - the clothes look very different in person. Go to an honest website like Venus. I hope Paypal eventually severs ties with this poor excuse for a business.

Stay away from this company
I ordered 3 swimsuits on May 9. Only 2 of the swimsuits arrived on May 30. I have been trying to contact Modlily for days to ask them where the third swimsuit is. After trying more than 10 times to log into their "inquiries" / "complaints" webpage, I finally gave up and asked them to send me an email for "changing password." ModLily have NEVER sent any "change password" email nor any explanation as to why I am unable to log in. Finally, I managed to find a webpage that supposedly sends them a direct "chat" message telling them I'm missing a swimsuit in my order, and asking them to send tracking information about it. I also uploaded a picture (screen shot) of my order receipt to show them exactly which swimsuit was missing, and proving my order and order number. I sent this same chat message twice -- But they have NEVER RESPONDED. I think this company is a scam. They don't provide any customer service phone number or email address, and they don't answer their "chat" inquiries or provide people a way to log into their complaints and tracking page. Once they receive your money -- good luck -- your inquiries and complaints just fall into a black hole. I will NEVER order anything from Modlily again. I don't recommend them at all. You can get better swimsuits at lower prices on several other websites that are legitimate and actually have a way for customers to reach them and get an answer to inquiries.

ModLily Ruined Christmas
I was so pleased that my partner treated herself to these super cute shirts that she found on ModLily. She waited anxiously as the days passed by without any word from the company and no package waiting when she got home. :( In the meantime, she ordered 5 sweaters off of ebay that also came from China (but not ModLily) and were great for the low price and arrived within days.
Alas, the day arrived when her VERY long awaited garments were delivered. I walked into her room as she tried on the 1st shirt. Prior to that moment, I thought my partner looked good in anything she put on. I now know that isn't true.
The quality of these things is lower than anything I have ever seen that wasn't a joke or a Halloween costume. These seriously look like reject pieces from an extremely low budget home economics class. "Here's how NOT to make a shirt."
We tried just like others have said and trying to get a refund is useless.

As everyone who isn't clearly a decoy has said, DON'T EVEN TRY MODLILY. They've scored too much money already.

SCAM!
Didn't like the fit of the bathing suit I ordered; sent an email to Modlily on June 30,2016 since their website "return" page wouldn't allow me to upload a picture of the suit - said photo was too large.

So, I sent an email with a picture of the suit to them with all the Invoice numbers, etc., pertaining to my order. Got an email asking for a picture of the suit! Sent another email to them. Second email from them said ModLily needed my order number, which was NO WHERE listed on my order. I went to the USPS home page, looked up my shipment, got the order number... another email back to China! I looked at the shipping label, and they had this bathing suit listed as a "chiffon dress" on their Customs Declaration label.

Heard nothing for a week... another email to Modlily, asking about status of my return (initially asked for the address to send it back to). This a.m. I got an email from them asking "why you want return"? Seriously?!

I looked up the USPS costs to send the suit back, which is slightly more than I paid for this damn suit in the first place, so NEVER AGAIN! I'm out $27, will put the suit in a yard sale, and I'm done with these A-holes!

Very disappointed in this entire process, and their lack of customer service... there is none.

This is what you expect if you got a tankini. Top part consists of two parts which are sewn upside down. You submitted a ticket and foto.

The problem is with the upper black/white part which is attached to the black part upside/down. Strapes should be sewn to the upper border of the white/black part and you see them sewn to the lower edge. And pads inside the bra are also sewn uside/down. It is ipossible to wear this thing because strapes are under your armpits. Don't you see that?

But it is not worthwhile for you to return according our return policy, you should bear the shipping fee back, it is so expensive and you should wait a long time. You don't always get what you ask for
I waited with great anticipation. The wait was not to long. I am sorely disappointed in the quality of my garment. The fabric has a soft silky feel, that's nice, however, it does not appear that it will hold up to washing(no matter, how gentle). I was also disappointed at the weight of the material, it is rather thin, see through and very flimsy. Perhaps the most annoying aspect is the length of the garment, it is billed as a maxi dress. The front barely falls below my knees, the back barely reaches mid-thigh. This garment was purchased for me by my husband at my request, now I don't even want to wear it. I doubt if I will make anymore purchases from mod-lily. I believe I can match this garment with boots to make it work. Oh, by the way, the color was the most disappointing aspect of all. I had already planned how to really make a statement with this garment paired with garments already in my possession. That won't be working out.

Typical Chinese company
Was excited to find a women's clothing website with cute larger size clothes, however, buyer beware! Ordered 2 tops in size 3X women's, one is so small I doubt it would fit a size 6 and the other is so large it is like a 5X. Tried to return but no return information in package. Contacted through PayPal as both websites for Modlilly came back with undeliverable email. Response below: (copied and pasted so you can see the poor English, grammar etc.) Offering $15 for a $45+ order.

RIP OFF
I ordered a jumpsuit mid November the shipping details ModLily provided after making me believe it was an American company charging me in dollars when I'm in uk was in fact a Chinese shipping company with delivery date being 22 December I spent days chasing as they took my money immediately when taking the order. There customer service is non exsistant I finally received it to late for the event I ordered it for I received it on the 12 th jan from placing my order on the 23rd November. What can I say a pile of crap fabric rubbish poorly made resembled the picture very slightly they refused to refund my money even when I produced a postage receipt of return. They asked me to return to shanghai address which cost me £8.05 they point blank refused to give me a refund for the item and for my postage. They said they would not refund until I closed the dispute with PayPal. Paypal advice was not to close dispute because then I had no chance of getting a refund of this scam of a company. Paypal refunded and raised a claim but I'm £8.05 out of pocket for nothing a lot of stress and hassel later. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

BUYER BEWARE
Read reviews before buying anything from this company. Made in China, sizing is 2 to 3 sizes smaller than US sizing. ModLily advertise 30 day return policy, you pay $20 to $30 to return to China which they do not reimburse! If you are lucky to return you will get maybe 60% refund. You cannot reach anyone in customer service, either by phone or email mail. I waited 6 weeks for merchandise that did not for, have been trying 5 weeks now to reach someone on how to return, no replies to either format. I then read reviews and saw the info that I mentioned previously, so aggravated. BUYER BEWARE. I checked BBB and as I do not know their main location, cannot report them. To be honest not sure if these positive comments are real customers( based on bad review comments) I gave up as it was taking up too much of my time so have shoddy merchandise and they have my money! Learned valuable lesson, read reviews first on these companies that say you are getting a good deal! PLEASE DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN THIS NIGHTMARE OF A COMPANY!

Worst customer service ever!
I purchased 8 items in early December and added expedited shipping that the website said would have me receiving my items in 5 days. I did not receive them in 5 days. I went to the website, could not talk to a customer service person, had to submit a service ticket. ModLily took two days to get to me. The response was basically too bad so sad and that is when I learned they were in China. I finally got the items that I paid for 5 day shipping 26 days later. I ordered based on their sizing charts sweaters and tops for my grown up relatives and friends. The items were so small my 10 year old niece was wanting them. I went to the return policy. Apparently I had to put in another ticket. That was in the beginning of January. I am still waiting for the "permission" to return the items. I may just give the clothing to my 10 year old niece and just not bother. The items are adorable, I have to say that, but, the service is absolutely hands down the worst I have ever seen.

Update - still say NO! If you are spending your hard earned money - Please do not order from the company Modlily.com. If you are lucky enough to receive your merchandise from them, most will be a poor quality, mis-sized, no labels other than sizing (s, m, l, xl) and not what it looks like in the ad. Sizing in China is very different from US sizing. Arms are not long enough, bust sizes or legs, seams are mis-matched, pockets are are mis-matched, threads are mis-sewn & exposed & hanging out. Fabrics are changed from ads as well as colors. Share this with anyone that even thinks about ordering. The Modlilly return policy is pointless as ModLily will only offer you 60% of the value of your order but you have to pay shipping. They discourage you from returning as it will be just as expensive as what you would return. This is a SCAM & bad business and needs to be reported to Facebook as well as others that promote their business. -

NEVER AGAIN
I order things on line frequently but this was the worst order I have ever placed. Everything seemed too reasonably priced, I should have known. The photos made everything look lovely but my first clue should have been ModLily were short on details. I didn't know what materials things were made of. I ordered a few bathing suits and based on the photo, I thought there were two pieces to the suits. They were not. I ordered larger sizes because they were offered and figured better to have things too loose, than too tight. Everything I ordered was sized for a tiny, short, flat chested women even in the larger sizes. One sheath dress I ordered came so short, it looked like a blouse. When I realized how impossible they made it to return (Japan) I thought I would give it to my size 10 girlfriend who was not able to get it over her hips. I had ordered a 1X. It did not have any size label on the inside which made me think they made only one tiny size and just filled and shipped every order with the same size dress. To sum it all up, out of 8 items I ordered, 5 were no where near the sizing I ordered and were impossible to wear under any circumstances. It is, in my opinion, a shady foreign company who tries to appear American, and states in their advertising they offer a 30 day return policy. What they don't tell you is YOU pay the postage and shipping TO JAPAN which is extremely expensive and they make it nearly impossible to decipher what their procedure and policy is. It's a big search mystery. Don't order anything from them. They will eventually just change their name to another company so buyer beware. I learned a lesson. Read reviews first, order later. Never again.

Pissed off customer
I just want my refund. I cant believe these people. I sent my package to where ModLily told me to send it. They have given me the run away for 4 months. Now they cant find my package. Now they have forbidden me on their site. Its ok because they will lose alot more money than I have. I will tell everyone not to buy any thing from them. All they had to do was return my money back. I ordered from Modlily without researching. Boy, was that a mistake. Ordered a top that was probably 2 sizes larger than what I ordered. I then began the process of trying to get a refund. Of course the rep offered 50% without sending back the merchandise. I declined. Then rep offered 80% without returning the merchandise. I accepted that as a reasonable option. Rep. Stated the amount which would be refunded and I requested a timeframe in which I would see it back on my Paypal account. Haven't heard back since. I cannot log into my account even after server password changes. I am now on hold with Paypal to start a claims/ dispute. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and again will never purchase from them again. I see that Modlily sends an auto reply to all of these complaints and requests the order number. Here it is but I seriously do not expect any results!
