My son sent me flowers and a card. The card was addressed to someone else. The flowers were half dead. I contacted Moonpig via their chat and was told they would sort the problem. My son also contacted them. They said they would send the flowers and card again. No other flowers arrived but I did get a card but as Moonpig didn't bother putting any postage on it I had to go to the sorting office and pay £2. This isn't the first time I have had problems with them and will not be using them again.
Letterbox flowers arrived for mother's day from son. Tulips arrived but with an instruction leaflet for roses so not sure what was ordered. Tulip leaves were yellow and wilting on arrival and didn't improve. 'Greenery' with flowers looked dead on arrival and didn't change. Some of the tulips came out after 2 days, looked ok for about 2 days, then died. Remainder didn't blossom at all. I have used Moonpig many times in the past but won't do so again. A bunch of flowers from Morrisons bought recently for far less money looked beautiful for 3 weeks!
I ordered a “bundle” gift for my elderly mother. Hand cream and two decorated glasses. The hand cream arrived but the glasses didn’t. Thought, genuine mistake I’ll get in touch with them !!!!! Trying to get a response from them is impossible. It ruined her Mother’s Day with all the phone calls and hunting around the house in case it was left somewhere. Their customer service is dreadful. You can’t speak to anyone and all you get is an automated email saying we will be in touch. I’ve used this company for all family cards and gifts for a few years. Won’t be using them anymore, for sure.
My Mother’s Day card still hasn’t turned up 5 days later, despite the accompanying flowers coming on time and having a note with them stating a card was on it’s way, sent first class. Clearly not being truthful as we’d have received it by now if it was sent first class. Not being on time for Mother’s Day for an order that was placed over a week in advance is one thing, then lying about it? Not acceptable, and I expected better from such a big company. This was my first Mother’s Day after years of trying and I was really looking forward to my first card with ‘Mummy’ on the front. Do better.
I ordered an anniversary card and balloon that cost me about 18 quid it's been 6 days and it still hasn't turned up, my anniversary date has been and gone.
Today they tell me the order is on the way and they can not refund me as they have done there part and to speak with them after it's been delivered if I still want a refund.
Cant talk to anyone on the phone now it's all online via text, first time it said there is a 45min wait.
I've been let down twice now by moonpig the last 2 years. Inwill not be using them again, really gone downhill.
My son sent flowers for Mother's Day - I haven't seen him for four years as he's in Australia so I was looking forward to my flowers- what a let down - stems were soggy and some had to be thrown out - two stems of lilies - one with broken flowers and the other one had lost all its lily pods and was just a stem - roses were brown turning to black and the whole bouquet was only fit for the bin ! I had to arrange what was left as best I could in order to take a picture but I was horrified- still trying to get hold of them to complain !!
Absolutely disgusting
My mum is dying of cancer and Mother’s Day may be our last
Making sure I would get my mums gift and card there on Time I ordered early so it would arrive before Mother’s Day
After ordering I still received messages saying don’t forget Mother’s Day
It didn’t arrive that Saturday as promised and payed for then Sunday I waited till 6pm and received an infuriating message saying sorry moon pig has let you down but don’t worry we will refund the postage. An absolute insult
Here where it gets worse
My family name is Delaney
My mum receives the correct card
But when opening her gift a mug with 4 personalised pictures of children and family members I consider to be private
The mug has a picture of a foreign person saying to the best nan from ishmale
And a mother and child on the front
First data protection non existent
Quality control no existent
Customer services Still no reply
Customer phone call ???????
BBC will be covering this once I expose this company
TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR
Complete Mother's Day fiasco. They sent the wrong card with flowers to my Mother. Have read elsewhere their customer services team admits a 10% failure rate - this is completely unacceptable and a data privacy disaster when they are sending cards in such high numbers with such private and personal information to complete strangers. What is more, their 'customer services' are non existent, had to wait for over 30 minutes in a queue to be told by the agent no refund would be given on the whole order (just the card). Complete joke - will never, ever use this company again.
I ordered a card for Mother’s Day they sent me an email saying that the card would arrive on Saturday which is a day before Mother’s Day, however even know i have still not received a card on Monday there service is absolutely disgusting and unprofessional making customer’s false promises and the next thing they don’t even have a number you can contact them on and that stupid little robot on the live chat is no help to anyone I would never use there service again and I will be awaiting my full refund people I advise you stay away from the stupid Moonpig no good not a service to rely on at all.
Today I received a Moonpig delivery for Mothers Day from my daughter who lives abroad. The undamaged box and packaging were beautiful and the correctly personalised card was in the box, however when I looked inside there were dozens of little dead flower heads at the bottom of it. On unwrapping the bouquet I discovered a bunch of mouldy dead flowers that looked like they had been there for weeks (no clue what they were meant to be even!) The rest of the flowers were extremely limp and at deaths door - some of the heads were torn. I haven't made my daughter any the wiser as she would be devastated. Totally ruined my day. Absolutely shocking and a regular occurrence going by the rest of the reviews.
Will never be returning to use their website again. My mother received wilted, dried out flowers, her box of chocolates were completely squashed, to make it worse her card and diffuser gift were delivered to someone else’s house. I spent over an hour that involved waiting in a queue for their crappy customer service live chat, just to be disconnected from it numerous times - despite the fact moonpig sent me a photo of the card and gift outside of the wrong house, they said because the Royal Mail has said it’s been delivered that they can’t refund me because they’ve provided evidence….i argued it’s not evidence of delivery but evidence of their mistake! I had to fight for a well deserved refund which I eventually was granted. If I’m honest hand written cards are far nicer to receive than the impersonal print out so it’s really not worth the money at all!
Flowers in letterbox arrived and when opened 7 flower heads on daisy spray broken off. Snapdragons flattened. Generally flowers looked half dead. Stalks dried out. Contacted Moonpig with photos , who apologised and sent another bouquet the next day for Mothers Day. Unfortunately the second bouquet more or less the same as the first with broken flower heads and bruise
roses. Have sent them pictures of both deliveries to confirm the report. Have not informed my daughter re Mothers Day state of bouquet as she will be upset. Waiting for response on email sent regarding second bouquet. They need to change their supplier.
Terrible
Hi this is something I don’t usually do, complain but I feel I need to as I didn’t get the service I paid for. First of all my first complaint is that I sent flowers to my mum and a card, the card that got delivered was someone else’s card, this was not the personalised card I’d ordered. Secondly I made another delivery for same day which was another personalised card and a bottle of Prosecco which was apparently left on the door step. Photo was sent of door but not parcel showing and my mum returned home to no card or Prosecco, no calling card left either. Concerned that alcohol can just be left at someone’s front door without being signed for.
I spoke to chat online and had cards and Prosecco refunded, which I’m grateful for but now I have to go out and buy again whilst waiting on my refund. How can two orders go completely so wrong. I know mistakes happen but sending someone else’s card instead of the one I ordered was very disappointing and then second order not being there, even if they’d took a picture of door etc there was no calling card, no proof and who leaves something like that on complete show to the public. So now I have lost two orders. Being refunded is all well and good but it really isn’t on. I’m a big fan of Moonpig, well was and also looked at getting the same bottle of Prosecco that yourselves were sending and you’re charging £16 a bottle when it’s in the shops at £8.99 😳 unfortunately now after this experience and seeing the true costs I
Would like to close my account
Don’t take this email personally I’m just extremely frustrated at the inconvenience this has caused me today
In December I received a large birthday card from my son. Unfortunately at the top of the card in huge letters the name Emily Wilkinson had been printed. No idea who that is but not my name. Very sloppy to put a wrong name on a card. I let it go and said nothing. However, today I have just been delivered a small box of flowers with no card in at all to let me know who they are from and the flowers are limp and half dead. Just a few flattened flowers in the bottom of the box that look like they have been in there for weeks. I will tell my family not to use moonpig anymore. Twice now sloppy and uncaring work has been show that has been disappointing. I have no idea who they are from. Presumably one of my adult children but not even a little card in there to tell me. Fresh flowers on the box lol Yeah maybe a month ago.
Received Mother`s Day flowers from my son today. Appalling! Flowers looked half dead already. Leaves torn and so badly crushed on many of them. They are too bad to ever recover their shape. Less flowers than stated in what you can expect to get description and 2 of the flowers broke in two as i attempted to put them in water.
My Mother`s Day card should have been with the flowers - a mass produced, printed card tells me the card has accidentally become separated from the flowers and they will be posting it!!!!!
All this for a mere £33.29. Dreadful! Do NOT order flowers from these people
I'm absolutely disgusted. I have been a customer for several years and get regular emails with offers etc.
Sunday is mother's day but my mum has passed away. Last August my beautiful daughter passed away and so mother's day for me is not a day to celebrate.
I went onto the live chat to ask them to stop sending mother's day emails as I was finding them unacceptable and didn't want reminders to buy cards, flowers or gifts. I was told to unsubscribe!! Totally disgusting service and support. Don't bother with them!!
If I could give zero I would
I ordered a Mother’s Day card in irelAnd with delivery date 2 days later !! They have not even dispatched it 4 days later and cannot tell me when they will
I ordered Believing their delivery terms !! Do not order with this company they cannot deliver
To make matters worse my son in Thailand ordered me a Mother’s Day and texting me everyday to see if it has arrived ! I will probably get it for my birthday in May
How can they be in the card Industry when cards mean a lot to people who are distanced from each other
Next day delivery is a lie. I placed an order for next day delivery only to find out next day that it can be fulfilled. The best moonpig can do is refund my postage. What I would have much preferred is honesty up front about whether an order could be fulfilled upfront. Had I known this was not possible I wouldn't have ordered with them at all. They've offered a £5 voucher as a gesture of goodwill which will go unused. Instead I'll do my best to tell my friends and family not to use this company.
I have sent multiple cards over the last few years. 3 arrived. My family now test it out and it’s a joke. My son and my grandchildren live thousands of miles away from me, his aunts, his sisters his nieces and his friends. And you, can’t get a card to them. Any of them. Time and time again. And if we call “customer services” well they just say it’s the risk we take. No guarantee of delivery. Disappointment. Every time. We will keep buying them and taking screenshots cos it’s the only way we can keep a record. If I could score you a minus I would. Shame on you. I love the rest of the questions below. Was your delivery on time. No option for never arrived. Who made the delivery? No option for None. Was it damaged? IT NEVER ARRIVED. How many days did it take? IT NEVER ARRIVED. No I would not like to leave a picture. BECAUSE IT NEVER ARRIVED! Once again. Multiple. Multiple occasions over the years . Nothing arrived.
Ordered a birthday card and paid additional 85p for 1st class delivery (1-2 days as advertised). Received order confirmation but delivery date specified card would be delivered at least 3 days from order date for which there would not have been any additional cost anyway! Given that the recipient’s birthday was in 2 days time the card would have arrived a day late. Contacted customer service who stated expected time for delivery was 1-3 days….. so why state 1-2 days on the website? Totally useless!! Cancelled order and requested full refund. Would definitely not use again!!
