Badly let down
After having good experiences with this organisation, recieving good quality prints on canvas, this time we chose an acrylic print, sent a. Jpg image, ordered the photograph and waited for the prodct to be delivered. Recieved an email telling that it had been dispatched and since then - nothing! The person whose birthday the picture was to be part of her present went short - but not as short as my patience after being put off by meaningless phrases delivered by email when enquireies are made on a specific delivery time. Will think very seriously about repeating the experience and would advise caution to other thinking about it.

If people done their research on the site you will indeed know the company is based in Germany, so stop whinging!

As much as I tend to try and buy British goods, Germany goods are much superior in general. Vauxhall or Mercedes?

Canvas was dispatched within 36 hours and arrived within 2 days from Germany!

Delighted with the canvas and the service I was provided with.

But of course, I will be branded as a fake reviewer!

If I need another canvas will defo give these guys another lookup.

I ordered 3 canvases 2 arrived and 3rd is yet to be seen! I have sent numerous emails, only to get reply saying that picture was returned due to wrong address but how comes the other 2 arrived! I sent the picture to be used again 27th November still now reply1 These pictures were meant to be a birthday present back in October when ordered and can not be used for that purpose now. I am beyond disgusted - I have paid for items and not received full order - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I AM ON THE VERGE OF REPORTING TO TRADING STANDARDS - I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! EITHER REFUND ME OR SEND ME THE GOODS I PAID FOR BACK IN OCTOBER!

Read the reviews here after ordering and was a bit worried, but had a pretty good experience so thought I'd share, for a bit of balance. Ordering online was easy, and I *did* notice that the company was based in Europe, and that part of the reason the prices are so much cheaper, and delivery is free, is that the frames are self-assembly - it's not advertised but it's not hidden, if you read the information on the site you'll see it.
Order was dispatched within a day or so, I was given a tracking number for a German courier, which allowed me to follow the package all the way to being delivered a couple of working days after that, the UK bit of the journey was completed by ParcelForce. I was impressed with the delivery, especially considering it's free/ covered in the (cheap) cost of the canvas.
The frame is what you'd expect - 4 pieces of measured and machines wood, lightweight but reasonable quality, certainly strong enough to hold the canvas tight and dense enough to take a pin or a staple. I needed a pair of hands, some drawing pins and about 10 minutes to assemble the frame and wrap the canvas, no specialist equipment - the frame slots together by hand and drawing pins or tacks do an admirable job around the back.
Is it is professional, tidy and tight as if I'd paid a pro to do it? Maybe not, probably an 8 out of 10, but once it's up on the wall frankly I don't think I'd know the difference. With a steady hand, and a bit more time, you could probably get that up to a 9 without any specialist skills or tools, and if you've done it before and/or have a suitable stapler and stretching pliers you probably know what you're doing already, and could turn out a mount every bit as good as what you'd buy - but you're saving probably 30- 40% or more.
The printing is acceptable to good, rather than outstanding, but I'm comparing that to photo prints which is perhaps unfair. Again, once it's up on the wall it looks good. Some excess ink wasn't fixed properly so I got slightly inky hands mounting it, and I imagine if you have a high contrast image you might be worried about getting ink on the lighter parts of the canvas, but it didn't happen to me, and I couldn't see any issues/artifacts with the image.
I can't comment on support, as I didn't need it.
The only comment I would make is you probably don't need to bother with the £5 wall fixings set Mypicture offer on checkout - this is a standard picture mounting kit you could pick up for a quid - two small metal loops which can be screwed onto the back of the frame, and a length of string to run between them, together with a strip of serrated metal and two wall screws to hang the string on. Many people will, like me, just want to know they have everything they need, but I wouldn't bother next time.
Overall, a very good way of getting a super-cheap large image up on your wall, if you want something cheap and good, rather than expensive and excellent - as with all things you get what you pay for and for me this was the best value.

I have been having problems with getting my order actually delivered as it says on my tracking it is not being delivered due to a wrong address! I have sent 4 emails tried to call the number on the bottom of the email order confirmation and no repsonse as yet. I have tried also speaking directly to GLS and no one i get can speak english. This is so frustrating, i can see on my tracking it is stored at a warehouse but not idea where! Can anyone help me in getting in contact with someone who speaks English to understand what the hell is happening here with my order? Also slightly worried now that i have read this and seen that i have to assemble myself - i'd just like to get it first! Thanks for any help, a very frustrated Mel.

Buyer Beware!
I sent 2 photos to be put on canvas as a Christmas gift for my husband. The pictures were of out beloved dogs. I do have to say that Mypicture were prompt in shipping and the production but failed to tell me the pictures I sent didn't really have the ability to be expanded. Hence, I received 2 pictures that were not only blurry but had partially cut off one of the dogs heads, and they were so dark that the other dog could hardly be seen. I am upset and very disappointed with my purchase and they claim no responsibility for the failed canvas prints. I will never buy anything through this company again.

Misleading
Their website promotes that Canvas Orders will be done and ready to ship within 24 hours. I ordered on the 13/1/21 and am still waiting to date - 21/1/21. I have sent numerous unanswered emails, Mypicture had initially sent one back on 18/1/21:
We would like to apologize for the shipment delay. Due to an extraordinarily high order volume, we have a slight production delay of a few days.We kindly ask you for your patience until we hand over your package to the courier and send you a shipping notification.The backlog shall be processed as quickly as possible, so that we can comply with our fast production times as usual. Shortly before dispatch you will automatically receive a package number for shipment tracking via e-mail.

They have still not sent the item, they have not updated their website with delays, they haven't responded any further. I received a notice that my item was ready that day - 18/1/21, however still hasnt been sent. I went specifically with this company due to their promoted time frames - however they are fraudulant, and misleading. The communication is appaling. They also misrepresent which country they are from depending on where you are based (They promote a local AU company here) - they most certainly arent.

GO ELSEWHERE is my advice.

Disappointing
Disappointing. The prints are probably okay. Mine were stretched and assembled but one of the frames is warped so it doesn't sit flat to the wall.

The main issue is that Mypicture don't respond to emails. I had ordered their "hang up kits" as extras. Those weren't sent with the order. I emailed and got not reply. I emailed again and eventually got a promise that they would send the missing items. Ten days later and nothing had arrived. I emailed again this time asking for a refund for the kits. Still no response.

The prints themselves are okay. The colour reproduction is pretty good.

I would never order from them again because the customer service is shockingly bad and I think that tells you all you need to know.

I could never recommend others to use this site.

Contrary to many of the other negative comments I have...
Contrary to many of the other negative comments I have read on here about this site, I was aware that I would have to assemble the frame myself, and my order arrived incredibly quickly (3 days after ordering).

However, there were problems with 2 of the 5 prints I ordered. One was a very small problem that, for the price I paid, I am prepared to live with - there was a tiny black mark on the print, maybe 2mm long, in an area where you wouldn't really notice it unless you knew it was there,

The other issue was more serious - a large dirty black smear across the face of the person in the photo. I emailed and called, and initially got no reply. Mypicture did eventually respond, asking for me to send them photos of the problem. Having read the FAQs I was aware of what was required and I had actually attached the necessary photos to my original email (the one they replied to!). I responded again and have, so far, heard nothing.

The customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

I also think it is very misleading that you place an order through a. CO.UK website, in English, only to find you're actually ordering from a German company (in Cologne). I didn't find out until my order was dispatched and I used the tracking information they supplied. Had I known this in advance, I wouldn't have ordered from my-picture.co.uk. Concerns over international delivery times and my inability to speak German (to resolve any potential problems) would have stopped me using this site.

In practise, the delivery times were not a problem. However my concerns around contacting the customer support team are proving justified... I am not sure if it's a language thing, or if they are just ignoring my emails. Either way - it's not great.

Hi - i used this company and read a lot of bad reviews written by people that didnt really research the product.
I orderd three fairly large prints, one that was taken on my iphone and Mypicture were delivered in 5 days - good quality prints and very happy with them, the frames were of good quality.
And seeing as all this came to £140 - and i saved around £100 on other companies with the same service, i invested in a staple gun and canvas pliers (£15).
I took the pictures myself, made the canvas myself and it makes the product more personal.
I would recommend this company absolutely, only slight glitch was delivery was 5 days and not 2, but lets be honest this isnt a problem at all.

The bas reviews on here are clearly down to people not researching what they were buying.
Please don't be put off with assembling the product itself, its reasonably easy, and you don't really need the canvas pliers, however a staple is very handy.

Dont be put off by the reviews of this company, but bear in mind they arent built but the product is very good for the money.

Absolutlely terrible product quality and even worse customer service.

Order a canvass for my girlfriend for our anniversary only for it to arrive and the quality be diabolical.

I have used numerous other companies in the past where if there is a problem with the quality of the image you have provided Mypicture will contact you either before or after the canvass print to make you aware and to ask if you have another photo or would like to downsize.

This company did nothing like that. Instead they shipped out a quite obvisouly poor quality canvass and just took my money. I fail to understand how anyone could have looked at it and thought that it was acceptable to send that out to a paying customer. No quality control and no sense of right and wrong.

This company are terrible and I can safely say I will never use them again and I would encourage anyone contemplating it not to do so.

Ignore all the positive reviews on their website which are obvisouly cherry picked from out of all the negative reviews they have recieved.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM 'MY-PICTURE.CO.UK'. Their prices may be cheap, but cheap is exactly what you get – cheap and nasty. I ordered ten identical canvases; Mypicture arrived three weeks later. Although the canvases arrived already attached to the frames, it looked as though a three year old had assembled them, and the picture itself was the wrong size for the frame which meant that vital parts of my photo had been cut off. To cut a long story short, I requested a full refund, but the company refused claiming that they were a German-based company who, under German law, were not obliged to issue refunds. I immediately raised a dispute, and then a claim, through Paypal and returned the useless canvases to 'my picture' in Germany using a track and trace service. Luckily, Paypal found in my favour and I have since received a full refund. In future, I will use only a reputable UK based company and I would advise everyone else to do the same. The product that these people produce is, in my opinion, sub-standard and of extremely poor quality – do not waste your money...!

The print quality of the canvas I received was terrible. I had to order from another company to get it in time for xmas as a present. My picture wouldn't give me a refund and instead offered 20% off my next purchase - an ill considered offer as not happy with my first purchase.! Mypicture then offered to replace the print but the 2nd canvas picture was even worse than the first and had to go in the bin :(. Stay away - they are cheap for a reason. Truprint on the other hand are fantastic - highly recommended, great clear canvases with lovely vibrant colours, I had my print done by them in the end.

No delivery after 2 months
I ordered in October, I still have no pictures and so no xmas presents. I am trying to get a refund through paypal. Under German law Mypicture will not refund. I would advise against using this company, the whole thing is an ongoig nightmare.

I would gladly like to take care of your issue, but according to the Article §312, Section 2, Nr. 1 of the German Civil Code, the buyer has no right of revocation or any other claims for compensation due to delayed deliveries. In this respect, we kindly ask you to pay attention also to our law-abiding terms and conditions.

Right now, your replacement order is in our production and will be produced and shipped out to you as soon as possible.

I love modern interior with lot of glass elements present
I love modern interior with lot of glass elements present. We rebuilt the interior from minimalism to modernism in the living room and I was not sure about which canvas would better fit, the traditional, aluminum or acrylic one. I decided to try and ordered acrylic 30'x20' size. It looks great and it fits perfect in modern interior.
I, definitely, recommend acrylic photo print for modern design apartments. The acrylic glass itself is done in high quality. Photo looks like REAL!
By the way, i spent £83 for 30'x20' size glass, which is cheaper than in other websites which I checked before buying from my picture website :)

So much choice to be had and was so pleased to find a company that actually prints onto canvas with the option of digital size format - So no cropping of essential parts of my image:)

Delivery was so fast, I followed the online tracking and only then did I realise the goods were dispatched from Germany! Amazing considering it was free delivery. Great pricing too, especially with the addition 15% discount and being a vat registered company, the end cost was a true steal.

The goods arrived in perfect condition, extremely well packaged and exactly how I had ordered - I will definitely use MyPicture again :D

Amazing quality
I have ordered from you several times now, both canvases and a blanket, and have loved the results every time. The quality is fantastic, the order arrives within a week or so and the prices are exceptional. I would definitely recommend. I also know from experience that if Mypicture are not happy with the quality of a product they print, then they will reprint it rather than send out an awful quality picture as I have had this happen before too and they emailed to let me know what was happening every step of the way. Definitely will continue to use this company as I'm not sure they can be beaten on price or quality. An 11 out of 10 from me every time.

Why bother if you cant be botherd to do it correctly
Recieved my picture from germany today advertised there business from uk delivery sucks. The picture i have recieved is not central coming from a professional company you would of thought the picture would be wrapped around the frame just needed little tweak not even central, but NO! WAS LEFT AND PRINTED AND SENT ANYWAY? Wheres your customer care, all my pictures on canvas ive had done eles where have been done correctly.
This was so very important to me, i feel you had no care to get my picture centralised on the frame or streched around it and could of blown it up instead of having 2 black lines down the sides not central. I Dont know why you even bother. So upset ive paid quite a bit for this you had no care and attention to detail my photo i waited weeks could of done better up the road

Mypicture didn't volunteer pictures would be late, I had to chase them and then I got generic emails citing "technical problems" without any firm specific info. Birthday present was 2 weeks late
2) You get bits of canvas and a self assembly frame. No pins/staples and you have to sort it out yourself. This is only apparent low down in the FAQs and no info about this when you buy (site implies you get finished product). I think a case of mis-selling. It is quite fiddly to mount your own canvas and many people wouldn't be up to it
3) Canvases had poor colour and resolution.
4) The instructions were terrible

Beautiful german quality!
I bought a Super acrylic 80 by 60 and a canvas 100 by 75 and i am very pleased. Top color quality and execution.The order came all the way from Germany in exactly 3 days after I uploaded the picture on the web site.
The problem with the wrong address is on the website: when you register that form doesn't show the entire address on the UPS label, which means that many times the UPS guy doesn't know where to actually deliver... my address on the label consisted of the flat number and post code, but the house number was not on the label...
Anyway, the UPS guy found me and everything was ok. I would reccomend them anytime.
