I was very pleased to find out about your store in NY, I am in NJ. I have been searching for this MacDuggal dress since I saw it about 9 months ago. You have made this woman reall happy . I plan to wear it to my beautiful Niece ,Jamie Marie ‘s Wedding. Thank you!

I don't usually write reviews but since you asked....
Last year I ordered 5 dresses from your site that I had seen on Pinterest. I noticed on some of the dresses there was a note that the dress was non-returnable. Since I hadn't worn a formal dress in years, I made sure to choose only dresses that didn't have this note. Some of the dresses were out of stock and the ones that I did receive looked nothing like the photos and didn't fit. I called customer service to begin the return process, only to be told they were unreturnable.
I explained that I had only picked dresses that didn't note "non-returnable". The agent then informed me that once I pressed the "accept" button at checkout I agreed to the terms.
I feel like that was false advertising! If your policy is no returns on any dress, then you either have the note on all the dresses or none of them. The way you had/have your site makes it appear as if you accept returns when you don't.
I would have never ordered so many dresses if I didn't think I could return them. Now I am stuck with them .... Even if you offered a credit, does me no good. I have no occasion to wear a dress like that again.
Please do better at advertising.

My own personal opinion is that I just wish you had a return option on any purchases that don't work out. This dress was horrible. I'll sell it on ebay or Facebook Marketplace to recoup at least some of my money. It is what it is.

This is my first time dealing with this dress company and their customer service is above and beyond. James helped me with my online purchase and I am so excited to see the dress in person. I would definitely purchase for them again based on customer service alone.

Unfortunately, my experience with you was very, very bad, and they promised me the delivery day that I chose the day of the occasion. Unfortunately, they said it will arrive after 3-4 days, knowing that the delivery is supposed to be free, but I chose express delivery and paid more money! However, this big mistake happened, and this made me angry and sad a lot and caused me pressure on the last moments, as well as the service that they correspond with the customer, the beginning was great, but then they got bored of me! And I think that the customer is a customer, no matter what, especially since I did not make a mistake against anyone. I was just asking some questions, and they also did not tell me that there are also customs invoices. I wish you a good job and I hope you accept my cash and thank you.

This is a beautiful dress! My advice to future customers is to make sure they follow sizing recommendations as this dress is very form fitting in the bust and waist, I went up one size and it is still a bit snug. I am still very pleased with this purchase.

I was sent the wrong size and once I contact customer service, the issue was rectified promptly!! Happy with the service although not very happy with the product, the dress was poorly finished; edges rough and left without neating it.

? ordered a dress estimated delivery said 18, so after writing a few emails, response was verg slow. I had asked to change address etc etc, no help at all. I dont think your company is really human friendly. I wont be wearing your dress to my sons wedding money down the drain thanks to your poor customer service, money is not everything

The best experience ever. I had visited several other dress shops prior to arriving at New York dress and none can compare. At New York Dress they are so warm and inviting, they listen and are attentive to your needs and meet every expectation. I remember our sales agent Tamara I believe was her name after my daughter had selected several dresses she was so helpful. We did not feel rushed or forced into making a decision. My daughter turned to me and said Mom I like it here, so many options and I feel so comfortable being here. I feel attended to and I am not anxious at all. Which was a great to hear because other places we visited we had some not so nice experience. So I was very please with the overall experience at New York Dress for my daughter's prom dress 2022. We got great reviews on her dress and will make New York Dress our #1 stop for future dress shopping.

First this site is nice and easy to use but most importantly the dress I got was just how I expected for the price I paid I got it super quickly and right in time for prom. If your thinking about this dress or buying of this site DO IT

I'm really disappointed that only people outside of USA are not allowed to return their dresses. I received my dress and the material looks cheap and tacky and the photo doesn't represent the dress I received at all. I wouldn't advise anyone outside the USA to order any dress from this website as you are not able to return it and it's no wonder why! I emailed them to ask if a refund was possible and I didn't hear anything back. Awful dress and I won't wear it at all.

I did not like the fitting of the dress, though it looked beautiful in the pictures. The fabric was too "heavy" and the workmanship lacked fineness.
Generally, the quality and fitting of NewYorkDress outfits continue to deteriorate, while pricing continues to go up. Five years ago it was not like this. The outfits do not fit properly as indicated on models online, the sewing or workmanship looks rougher, and the material quality keeps on getting cheaper and awful.
This started to be like this even before the global supply chain was affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, NewYorkDress has excellent customer service and outstanding business ethics. They are reliable and you get your shipment on time. Returning shipments is also very easy; and all in all, they are excellent at responding to customers' queries.
But revamping of clothes quality and making outfits that fit properly is urgently required. I have either returned the dresses or just hang them up in my wardrobe because they do not fit as shown on models, and also sometimes the material used is very "heavy" for the style.
This is sincere feedback, without trashing NewYorkDress, as I have bought other beautiful outfits from them in the past. I will continue to be their customer, and I wish they will re-introduce shoe and bag sales as well, just like in the past.
I will for sure recommend others to buy from this company, but NewYorkDress requires to look seriously into feedback from customers.

Return policy is very restrictive making it impossible to buy with any confidence. Measurements provided are all over the place so I had to purchase a dress that is huge or run the risk of it being too small. The cost of alterations is more than the dress.

This is a very good company and the costumers service is great and they make things happen on the especially this customer service girl by the name call Nico she made me got my dress on the for my occasion i want to take this time to say thank you Nicole i really appreciate what you did for me attending my occasion thanks so much for all you guys do.

Worst side ever, I made a purchase. My dress never arrived. It arrived in a diferente state. I wrote about 10 emails they never answered until I tell them I will put the claim in the bank. I just felt ignored and I had to buy another dress for my event in a hurry.

This is my second purchase online ever, started with you and I am back for the second purchase. I have not been disappointed. Can't wait to see my next gown. I have enjoyed shopping with you. Thank you for the variety and quality. CAS

Dress already came in damaged with an unaligned zipper and pulled hems. Unacceptable, will never be ordering a dress from here. Had to frantically find another dress for the event I was attending, which is unfortunate since I loved the new york dress.

In April I bought them a dress Mac Duggal 10739CL size 4. It is so big as a size 10 that it´s impossible for me to wear it. I am very disappointed that I cannot return it because it had a discount.
It did not bring any code or description to return it,

I weigh 150 lbs I ordered a size 10 my size for years I ordered this dress for my bestfriend wedding it was very costly, it is a shame I could not return for bigger size it was a horrible decision to purchase this dress. seams like the cut of the dress was not correct the top fitted good but could not get the zipper up should have bought a size 14

I ordered a dress and then they emailed me saying the dress is out of stock, but it never said that when I was placing the order. I was even willing to get a bigger size in the same dress but they said I would have to pay full price and not the sale one. Very disappointed, poor customer service.
