So I ordered a jersey for my bf's birthday present. I ordered it more than three weeks before I would need it and figured that would be enough time... Two weeks later I hear nothing about my jersey order so I contacted their customer service. Their customer service said NFL Shop had cancelled my order ten business days ago yet no one had notified me of this. As a consolation they gave me $10 store credit (which I have yet to see). My order was also still listed in my account as NEW and not cancelled.
They told me it went out of stock and they weren't sure when it would come back in stock so they went ahead and cancelled it. That's 100% fine, but why would no one bother to contact me or update the order status in my account? I had about eight emails back and forth between me and their customer service and they just dodged the question saying we're sorry and try to provide you with the best customer service possible. Really guys? You actually tried?
Finally when I demanded an answer, they claimed to have sent me an email. I triple checked my email account and found nothing. If they had really been up to date and contacted me 1) I would've known and 2) you should update my account and 3) why is the exact jersey I ordered, in the size I ordered still listed as in-stock on your website?
Hmm sounds to me like they just wanted to shut me up. Thanks for lying to me =)
In the end they offered me $20 in store credit (which I have yet to see) only because I told them I had to pay for express delivery from another store due to their inability to inform me they had cancelled my order. Thanks NFL shop, you're so generous considering that I told you I had to pay $40 to get express delivery from Sports Authority. I'm glad you're willing to be so generous and give me a $20 credit when your own express shipping costs $32.99.
In the end I have no jersey, they ignored my last email and I'm down $40 more than I should have been and am left with empty promises of $20 store credit that I don't even want. I will NEVER order anything from them ever again.
If you're interested in purchasing jerseys, I recommend going straight to Nike. Their customer service is awesome, they have everything in stock, and they're so quick to fill your order =) I plan on avoiding the NFL Shop for the rest of my life and have already begun letting every single person I know that the NFL Shop deserves no one's business.
This "special event" jersey I ordered said that it would ship "No later than Thursday Feb. 4th." I thought, "Ok, well then I'll get next day shipping so that I'll have it in time for the Superbowl in a worst case scenario."
As the hour got later on Thursday and I had yet to receive a shipping confirmation I decided to call NFLShop. I spoke to Adrienne who told me that there's still a chance it could ship that day but did not sound confident. She told me that she had seen some that were promised to ship by the 2nd go out on that very day (the 4th). I told her about the 10% issue I had when ordering so she did give me the additional 5% off which was nice. She also attempted to put in a ticket to upgrade my shipping to Saturday delivery just in case it didn't ship Thursday but instead on Friday. She could not guarantee me that it would happen though (the upgrade nor the Friday ship).
Fast forward to this morning (Monday the 8th) and I see an email letting me know my item has shipped. According to FedEx it will be delivered tomorrow, which as you'll notice is NOT before the Superbowl.
So I called this morning and spoke to a man (Devin?) who eventually agreed to take off the 24.95 shipping cost since I explained to him that I'd have never payed for next day if I knew it would come AFTER the Superbowl. He then proceeded to inform me that "Well sir you ARE still getting next day delivery" which you can guess didn't go over very well with me. As if I care AFTER THE SUPERBOWL.
Before agreeing to take the shipping off he also tried to tell me that NFLShop emailed me on the 5th to let me know there was a delay. Gee... really? You think? Thank you for the "captain obvious" email there NFLShop. Emailing me the day AFTER it was supposed to ship to let me know it was going to be late. Also, I never received the email, not that it matters. Overall the whole experience has been bad. "No later than Thursday, Feb. 4th" is not a suggestion. It's a promise. A promise NFL Shop failed to deliver on.
Overall, my 1st experience with NFL was not that bad. I was expecting them to have the shipping excellent since this is the NFL we're talking about. I notice there are a lot of bad reviews, but I will not be ordering anything else from this website just to stay on the safe side. I am happy that the people followed up with everything, refunded my money, and that i received my order just in time before Christmas!
To start, a gift was to be sent to my home address from NFLshop. It never arrived, no one knew why but alas... on to the next order. I went online to NFLshop to order a package (purchased by me, to be sent to my address, with my billing info - all the same) and all seemed fine. I got order confirmation but nothing further there after. I went to check the tracking a few days later and found my order was refunded. I called. NFL Shop gave no explanation and then proceeded to tell me my item was no longer in stock so they couldnt send it to me anyway. Great, thanks. What kind of company cancels your order and never notifies you? Or contacts you to rectify the situation. Moving on... I ordered from NBAstore a couple of days later. Same EXACT situation happens. My order is refunded and I am not notified (find out when attempting to track my package). This time when I call, the person tells me that the reason my orders keep getting cancelled is because someone attempted to send a package to my address, so the computer system automatically flags and cancels orders now to my address. WHAT? Besides the fact that the gift never came anyway, you are saying I cant have my own package sent to my own address? I ask the customer representative to please fix the issue and reorder my items, they say they cant. I have to have the person call in who was sending the gift or send my items to another address. WHAT?! So let me get this straight. You flagged my address because a package with a different billing address was sending to my address. Now you cant send me my own packages with my own billing address to my own address, I have to send them somewhere else? Which was exactly what the original issue was?! Wow, ok I dont have anymore time for games, its right before Christmas and I've already been on the phone for a combined time of 1 1/2 hr at this point between all phone calls and wait times. So I have them reorder and send to my job address (i do not receive mail at my job nor is my name on the business so you can already see where this is going). I have to demand the discount I originally had as well. Ok, order placed. Well they send my 3 items in 3 different packages through fedex smartpost. First package to arrive I am tracking and I see it is being returned to shipper. I call fed ex who directs me to call the post office. Thankfully through all this the post master (of all people) helps me by holding my package at the post office. I go there with my work ID and was able to pick up the first package. Now package number 2 is marked delivered as of yesterday and it was NOT delivered to my job (granted the mailman may have delivered to another suite, since no business name was attached I'm sure he took a wild guess- of course in trying to chase it down no one has it). Package 3 is still on the way and I have zero hopes that I will receive it. Now just to put the icing on the cake, I ordered a shirt through Fan's Edge last friday, not knowing they were all affiliated - too little too late, again using my own credit card that is billed to my home shipping address and guess what? My order is cancelled. I'm over the top disgusted with this company. I have 3 boys who's christmas presents are not coming because of the games of this company and yet no one can take responsibility and fix the issue. Oh, and the gift? They called. Told us there is nothing they can do, have it sent to another address. I would strongly advise anyone who wants to keep their sanity to stay far far away from this company and any of its subsidiaries. I will be posting this review everywhere I can. No one should have to go through this level of frustration and aggravation from a large retailer.
What a poorly run company! You are wasting your money employing 400 customer service people, because NFL Shop are all incompetent and have no information. I don't buy for a minute that in today's day and age of constant communication and overnight deliveries that you cannot make contact with the manufacturer or wherever this jersey is supposed to be coming from. Is it made on Mars? And you can't expedite the shipping when it is your fault that I don't have it in my hands already! Have you ever heard of FedEx? Plus, the order was placed on December 3rd --- that would have been PLENTY of time to iron on a player's name on the back of a jersey and put it in the mail!
I have tried using your chat. USELESS. I have called multiple times. Your employees are trained to lie. On Fri Dec 15 Enus told me that his supervisor Kelly was expediting the shipping (free of charge) and that I would DEFINITELY have the jersey by Christmas. "It would be on my doorstep Dec 23 or maybe even before." Well, here it is Wed Dec 20 and still no update. My order status is still PROCESSING. Where is the tracking number I was promised? Where is the call from corporate I was promised by Tianna (also a "supervisor")? Corporate was supposed to listen to my phone call with Enus. Where is the phone call I was supposed to receive from the manufacturer after another customer service person opened ticket request #1685378 last Thursday, Dec 14? And my order still says it will ship on or before Dec 14... well that date has come and gone!
Every other company in America is working around the clock at this time of year to ensure their customers get their items by Christmas! Many are giving free rush shipping if you order today and guaranteeing you will get it by Christmas. Not the NFLshop. I ordered this on December 3! Where is it? We once got custom jerseys at a Washington Capitals game and it took less than 10 minutes for them to put the splayers' name on the back! Now it is looking like I won't have the jersey to give to my son for Christmas. I spent $125 on this and you were quick to charge my credit card already. That you can do but to put the jersey in the mail...?
I hope you know that you will RUIN my son's Christmas if this jersey is not on my doorstep by Sat Dec 23!
The first name was totally see through. NFL should not post perfect pictures to the web if you are selling to your customers something totally different. That's exactly how you disappoint ppl. This would not fly on any other memorabilia web site. So remember, if you ever buy any memorabilia from this company, and you are unhappy with what you got, you are out of luck. NFL Shop would do absolutely nothing for you.
Now let's talk customer service: WITH THE EXCEPTION OF DONNA from the Fan Service and Support, customer service was horrible. I really suggest Donna's management to star to follow her footsteps and learn something from her. She went out of her way to help me. And reading some of the reviews I am reading now, looks like I am not alone. I can tell customer service is becoming a problem on its own for NFL and whatever who is in charge is really not doing anything about it. We need more people like Donna. I will never buy anything from them again and will tell others to do the same. My next step is to leave a review on social media as well since they were no help and a complaint with the BBB. I recommend you do the same if you feel like your issue wasn't handled correctly. That's the only way a company that takes their customers for granted will take you seriously.
And DONNA, thank you again! And hopefully, your management will thank you too. You are great and I would give you 5 stars!
NFL Shops is the WORST company I've dealt with. First of all I ordered a custom jersey over 2 weeks ago and have yet to receive an update with regards to the status of my order. Second, when I called to ask about the status of my order I was told NFL Shop can't provide that because an outside vendor handles the order. I said, "OK, give me the information of the outside vendor so I can contact them directly". They stated that they can't give out this information. I proceeded to ask to speak with a supervisor and I was laughed at and told they would give me the same answer. I waited on the line for over 45 minutes and hung up because I could tell they didn't care about me as a customer. I then emailed NFL shops about the issue and to request a refund, and they told me I couldn't receive a refund because it was a custom order that was already being processed. Oh really? If it was already being processed then how the hell are they not able to give me any answers on the status of my order?
Long story short, I will have a very disappointed family member who won't receive the gift for their birthday and now I'm stuck in this endless circle with the morons at NFL shop. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS VENDOR! They are unethical and don't care about their customers.

To add to my previous review. I was told by "Chastity S." or "Whitney P." (who the hell knows) that they would ship my order with next business day delivery. (See below) Have I received my product or even a shipping confirmation? NO! These jackasses will basically just tell you whatever you want to hear to get you to shut up. Well, I won't be silenced. I've already put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and I will be taking legal action next because they are holding my money and not delivering as promised. Again, DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS WEBSITE!

I ordered a Salute to Service Jersey in mid-November and my order was cancelled abruptly without warning. That should have been my first warning sign. I reordered the jersey because my other order of a $100 jacket went through. When the second order was also cancelled I figured there was an error with the stock so I ordered a $294.99 Elite Matt Ryan Jersey. I thought I was lucky when my package arrived faster than expected. I opened the package and in it was an XL soccer shirt. A cheap soccer shirt was sent to me in error when I should have received a $295 jersey. NFL shop sent me an email saying they would refund me 85% of my purchase if I sent them my jersey back. I did not even receive the jersey! I returned the soccer jersey and the jersey I wanted was now out of stock as they had shipped it to some other lucky person in error, so the only option was to refund my purchase. I called NFL shop again and was supposed to receive a callback from a supervisor within 24 hours. Its been 5 days and nothing. They still have not refunded my store credit and now the promo code period has passed. Because I needed a jersey for a birthday that was approaching I went ahead and reordered a different size and charged it to my credit card (I was not able to use my in store credit because it had not been refunded even though the associate said it would be available in a few hours). My new order has still not shipped and I have still not received my store credit refund. After all is done I may end up with a jersey that doesn't even fit if it ever ships. This is the best they can do after 2 emails and 5 phone conversations including a call with a supervisor.
