O'Briens Wine

Apart from always experiencing a great service at my local store in Ashbourne, recently I had a specific request and between the staff in the store and Hannah in Head Office, they couldn't have been more helpful. I often buy wine there as gifts and I asked in store where I might source the gift bows they use and they were so helpful giving me the brand name and told me they receive them centrally. I e-mailed O'Briens Head Office a few days ago, Hannah promptly responded to my query giving me the links to where I could get them but also very kindly sent me a sample of them which I received yesterday! I am so appreciative. Little things can make a big difference. And I'll continue to buy their wine, not only as gifts but for me too.... cheers!

Nice store to visit and buy.
Buying online, however, is a guessing game for your delivery. We received a UPS email Friday and on Monday without any notice, UPS attempted to deliver. Missed us and we could easily have been there had they phoned or agreed a time window for delivery. We then had to go to a Parcel Motel to collect our wines. We may as well have driven to O'Briens and collected our order.
Please O'Briens change to DPD, much better delivery service for your great wines. DPD text a window time of approx 1 hour duration that they will deliver allowing us customers to have a life and get about our work without missing a delivery

Excellent service … as usual.
My sister received her present today and was delighted.. she loves an Argentina 🇦🇷 Malbec.. I only ordered gift late on Thursday so was very impressed with the delivery time.
I find this delivery an excellent service and have used it a few times before. No fuss or loads of emails.. just parcel delivered promptly

As a first time customer I'm very pleased with contact/explanations, tracking and delivery and the wine is nice too.

O'Brien's are just fantastic.
But I prefer when DPD is the delivery provider.
UPS does not send a notification for an estimated time of delivery, so you're waiting in all day.

Normally 5+ stars when you used DPD previously.
DPD early notification of date and time. Excellent. Allowing for somebody to be in to receive delivery.
This order was placed Thursday delivered Monday.
In the past, I would normally receive order by weekend.
No notification from UPS they would deliver Monday. Therefore no one at home to receive Monday's delivery.
Delivered Tuesday. But no indication that it would be delivered Tuesday.

I would like to thank Pierce at the Glasnevin branch for his excellent customer service, helping me put together a gift for my sister and without prompting, calling me here in the UK to finesse details.

Am an active customer of O'Briens. My only complaint in the delay in the payment process. It can be enough to make you decide will I or won't I proceed.

Everything happened very quickly and smoothly. I was glad to receive the order quickly as we were having a family gathering on the Sunday and I was able to roll out some of the wines received.

I have to say I am very impressed with Hannah Nyegaard Gannon who is in charge of O'Brien's office in Stillorgan. I was having a problem with placing an order on-line and Hannah replied immediately to my query. It appears that there is a general problem which is being fixed now. Rather than tell me to wait until it was fixed she said she could take the order over the phone which is what we did. Thank you, Hannah, for taking the time to make sure a customer was well looked after.

Tastes nice but has given me the worst acid reflux ever from a red wine. (That is on two occasions now).

The bottom. Of the wine box is broken so rhe bottles can fall out. Can you.advize if I can exchange box at your Galway store.

Excellent service both from online sales and staff in store Malahide. Love the taster cases. A great way to explore a particular genre or range of wines.

We're on strict abstention until the weekend ... so I haven't tasted any of these - yet! But I'm highly impressed with the delivery rate. Extraordinarily efficient. And our wine rack is now full, which is such a great feeling. Thank you!
