Thinking of not fighting that ticket?
On average, after your first speeding ticket, insurance premiums increase by $300 per year, for the next three years. That's $900 over the next three years. Contesting your ticket is the financially responsible thing to do! And since OTR gives you a full refund if your case is lost, you have nothing to lose.
Don't let a simple mistake tarnish your driving record and cost you hundreds in increased insurance premiums. Always fight your ticket!

I was really impressed on the simplicity and performance of the platform. Originally I had a ticket and was scared to fight it off by myself, so I sought out Off The Record. It was easy- you just sent in a picture of your ticket, got matched with a lawyer, provided some details on what happened, and let the lawyer do all the hard work for you. My lawyer was great - always responded on time, was very professional, and kept updating me on what happened. Best of all, I got my ticket completely dismissed!
The best you could expect is for the company to connect you with an attorney. You could probably do better on your own through a google search. However, once I paid and was connected with attorney , I was told my case didn’t qualify for money back guarantee and had to waive it to be represented. Next, I was sad when I got several text messages and emails from Off The Record that congratulated me for settling my case with no points on my record and no increase for my insurance rates when that was not even close to my outcome. I was issued points that are very much reported to my record and I will 100 percent receive an increase to my insurance . If you ask me it feels like they lie to confuse you so you leave a happy review believing you got false results. Only to find out later that “ their system “ made an error after you have already left a positive review that they use to generate more business . Someone needs to check Off The Record .
I received a reckless driving ticket and did not know what to do. There was a lot on the line and I wanted to be sure that I did the right thing. I googled traffic law attorneys and found Off The Record. They connected me with a great lawyer, Ellis B Klein and Associates. They were always available and gave me great advice. Thankfully, they are got my ticket dismissed!! It was the best decision! The process was smooth and easy. If you're on the fence, take this as a sign! Use them!
Off the Records is Off the Hook! Their customer service is exceptional. They give you peace of mind when they are fighting for your ticket. Every time I had a question, they would always respond. The process was really easy. I had to upload the ticket, and they handled the rest. I didn't have to do a thing! Definitely worth every penny.
Worst experience I ever had.
NEVER AGAIN
I tried on 2 occasions and they are not responsible. The only thing they care is the money.
I had easy case and the lawyer never asked for any proof or documents on my side. They did not care for my problem. I have to call the lawyer 3 times during the period and they have to search my case and name for a while to figure out. I ended up paying more than the ticket originally or from the first offer I got from judge.
Please stay away from Off The Record…
I Had a speeding ticket for a 50 in a 35.
I sent my info in to Off the Record just two days before the date given to me on the ticket.
Super easy process... I was given someone who handled everything! All I did was have to wait for them to do the work for me and I got my ticket completely dismissed! Definitely recommend Off the Record and will be using them again if needed down the road.
I am a real client - I just don't want to post my full name online!! Great experience with these guys. I don't mind paying a traffic fine if I feel I really did something wrong - but in this case, it was just an accident, and I was the only one who suffered. So then to pay a ticket and have it show on my permanent record - I wanted to fight it. Also, I thought the police officer was being unfair (all due respect to police officers in general). So I was able to find this company - and they made the process easy. I did have to pay them the fee - but it was fair, and it was less than the cost of the ticket - and my ticket was dismissed. So very happy. Thanks to OFF THE RECORD!!
My attorney was extremely efficient in answering all my questions and with helping me in every way regarding my traffic ticket and the overall procedure. Communication was excellent, whenever I had a question she was right there and responded within A day. Overall I learned so much through this process. I had 3 speeding tickets last year on a motorcycle and I ended up appealing every single one to the judge and and the cop never showed up which happens a lot so they just got dismissed which was awesome! And the thing is I wasn't even really speeding . Cops get bored sometimes and just like to pick on new fast motorcycles that look like they're going fast when they're not. Off the record is awesome and I highly recommend them!!!
Awesome results, thank God I found OTR to fight for my ticket, it was 2 points, with means higher insurance, no points and just have to pay the ticket. Attorney Christopher Marucci is very gently and professional, he helped me the best way he could.
I highly recommend Off the Record for your existing or future traffic tickets, they don’t play games, they get easy positive results.
Thanks a lot!!!
I had used up my lifetime limit of drivers school attendance and was faced with paying my ticket and having the points added to my driving record or going to court and handling it myself. Off the Record was great, they were able to handle my ticket and remove the points without me making a court appearance. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable and convenient way to resolve a traffic citation.
This is a fantastic service!!!
It was easy to navigate, sign up for the service, and pay. Being a legal side you do need to login to see your private messages, versus email. It’s not an inconvenience if you understand the security of everything.
Also, it’s not that I wasn’t guilty of speeding, it was that it was nearly impossible to find a way to pay my ticket online. The bureaucratic set up of the Orange County California system frustrated me for several days so I searched how to just get out of the ticket!!! So thankful I found OTR, I paid less money and it took less time then trying to just settle and pay for the ticket. Now I feel justified. I have a clean record and several dollars left over in my pocket!!!
Not the worst experience, OTR just finds local attorney’s to handle your case, so it’s just a proxy where they do the work for you and offer some kind of insurance against the ticket going on your record. Great idea in concept. Although, it seemed like the attorney they picked was slow to respond, like roughly 48 hours response time. Not a big deal on its own, however when it came time for my court date, I was summoned at 8am, sat until we were dismissed for lunch, ate lunch and came back ($5 for parking both times) and sat around until I was the last person in the court room. It was basically first-world torture because the bailiffs are very strict and authoritarian about phones being turned all-the-way-off. The cherry on top was: once I was the last person in the room, my attorney, who was a stand-in for the actual attorney, and was bouncing g between courtrooms all day goes, “what was your name again?” before he handed me over to the attendants to dismiss the ticket and left the room before I did. Just irritated me to no end being the last and forgotten client. Sooooo, I’ll be using the law firm I used in the past and take my chances next time.
Super awesome and understand lawyers take care of everything and will usually leave you alone will only ask you simple questions and most definitely take care of you’re every need and will make sure you beat your case hopefully you have the same experience with them as I did an amazing app hopefully a one and done deal but if not most definitely will be using this again and highly recommend to anyone who is stuck in a tight spot
I must say Being a Driver for my place of employment I was a little worried about How things worked but after Reaching out the attorney explained everything and how it works they show up to court on your behalf and let you know when the court date will be and also the outcome of your case there was not only any points on my license but everything was Dismissed thank you so much any one looking this is straight Forward and there the Best! JD
One word, DISMISSED!
Thank You! Choosing Off the Record was by far the best decision I had ever made when it comes to traffic violations. The process, communication, and results ALL where top-notch. If I see myself in another unfortunate bind with the law (let's not make this a habit) but if I do, or anyone I know does, Off the Record will be my 1st contact. Thanks again!
I've gotten my fair share of tickets in my life, and have tried to fight them in MANY ways and never, ever have I had a judgment fall in my favor, even when I thought I for sure was in the right. This time I was accused of speeding by CHP, dead to rights with a radar gun, or so it seems... What was I to do? I hopped on Off The Record and filed my case. After all, I had little to lose. I was quickly assigned a lawyer, and then I just say back and watched the action unfold. I never needed to step foot in a courtroom or fill out any other paperwork. Not only was this easier than handling the ticket yourself, but they also filed extensions when necessary and kept me updated. When it finally came time to fight the case the ticket ended up getting dismissed! I couldn't believe it. So YES, it does work. Thank you Off The Record.
During these times with our hectic schedules, job, family, and everything in between it is definitely worth having a lawyer capable of dealing with your legal issues (should any arise) and having the peace of mind knowing it's being taken care of. OFF the Record is a user-friendly platform that connected me with a competent and motivated attorney who advocated for me and kept my best interests at heart. It was worth every dime and I would recommend them to all my family and peers.
I had a ticket for a Stop sign violation. Off the record handled ALL of the legal parts (I don't even know what all they did, TBH). I never had to go anywhere. I got all the updates on their website. They kept postponing my case hearing for several months (years, actually) and ultimately got my case dismissed. I didn't have to pay any extra fine or fee and there's no point added to my record, which is very much on-brand for 'Off the record'.
(1) It works. (2) Communication via the platform is perfect. At no point did I feel that my case was lost or overlooked. (3) The lawyer selected/volunteered was capable and responsive. His bio looked great. His office responded to emails quickly. (4) The resolution process was documented, and I got a reminder to pay the fine - very helpful.
I’ve gone to court before ; I’ve gotten lawyers to represent me ; Off the Record was by far the easiest and least costly in time and money. Strong “thumbs up”!
1st ticket in 15 years. Cop wouldn't budge on a non-moving violation. Was a bit skeptical bitbwent with Off the Record due to their money back guarantee. Can't say enough about how well this worked out. Attorney contacted me via app and email. Set aside the court date, made a deal for a tail light violation. I still had to pay a fine (which was OK with me) but kept my record squeaky clean. By the way, the court house was 2 hours away from me. All of this was handled by attorney. I did not have to be present waste any of my time. Well worth it.
