only complaint is the packaging, the records came in a standard box with no extra protection on the corners. while there was bubble wrap on the front and back of the records there was none protecting the sides. the records arrived in good condition but i will always prefer to order from sites that i know have very safe packaging

This company has a very disrespectful policy of blatantly and carelessly defacing customers' merchandise prior to shipping goods out. They print out your receipt and then a careless employee checks off of on it using customer's merchandise underneath the receipt as a backboard, always indenting and ruining the artwork with a ball point pen. The artwork is rendered with a permanent crease or symbol by this careless act. I just had a $20 MOD Blu-ray defaced in this manner.

Purchased Lost in Space (1965 TV series) and 4 Film SCI-FI Collection then received items within stated time frame. I watched the 1998 remake of Lost in Space. Yes, Gary Oldman portrayed evil and cunning, however, there wasn’t enough antagonism, cunning, intelligence and vocal cord disdain as only a Jonathan Harris can produce. He was and is the standard of excellence when portraying the antagonistic force that drives the plot. The improvisation of his character is unmatched. And the best part was the rest of the Robinson family bounced off of his lead as he evolved Mr. Smith into that series' anti-hero!!
I was 11 in 1965 and this television production provided the springboard for my interest in television/film along with SCI-FI drama. The last few years have allowed me to re-engage myself with television programs and films I observed as a kid and teenager. And many thanks to outlets such as Oldies dot com for their stock selection.

Amazing selection of "oldies" music. I was even able to find selections I knew from my childhood after the second world war. Good quality. The only thing I would suggest is some caution when ordering between live concerts and second recordings versus the originals -- I would say that some of this confusion is the problem with packaging (product description) from the manufacturers, not Oldies. I often spend an hour just going through the Oldies catalogs - it is such fun to remember! Thank you Oldies for making this stuff available - that it will not be forgotten among the clutter of modern life.

A significant portion of my first order was not delivered. I was then informed that if the missing items weren't available within 10 days then they would be taken off the order. If I still want those items after that happens, then I will have to reorder and either pay shipping or order enough to warrant free shipping. A cynical consumer would suspect that this might be a method to drive repeat large orders. My other items arrived within appropriate delivery time and in the promised condition.

you did not send what i ordered as advertised. i asked for AHFOD in pink/blue double vinyl as well as Kalaidoscope baby blue vinyl. This how it is advertised on your website, anyway. You gave me regular black vinyls.

I ordered 6 CD's . When delivered only 5 CD's. Called and asked why was told they were out of this particular CD. Wow... On the same day I ordered 5 more CD's over the telephone as I was having issues with my computer. Not knowing that I would not received an email on this order placed by telephone, but they have no problem getting your Credit card number and they did not tell me any of this information. Then I was trying to keep track of the second order, so I called and ask why and was told I not see order if taken by telephone. I don't mind spending my money, but I would like to be able to see when delivery will be. I have a big problem with this. I don't think I will be ordering anymore.

"The Affairs of Anatol" is an excellent film. Rousing and adventurous performances by Gloria Swanson, Wallace Reid and all the cast. "The Marriage Circle" has a great cast with Monte Blue and Marie Provost.
Legendary director Ernest Lubitsch steers this mixed-up husbands and wives romcon. The only problem is this film has so faded, it's almost like looking at ghost images. "The Stoker" stars Monte Blue in this Niaraugian western. While this film is good, the story doesn't rise above average.

I received the order yesterday 7/2/22, and looked over what was in the package. I did not get the Tennessee Ernie Ford CD- Amazing Grace that I ordered.
A CD I did not order was in the package- Billy Ocean "Love Really Hurts Without You"- it will be discarded-I don't like this kind of music, and won't spend the money to return it.
The Maranatha Singers CD was damaged, the outer casing is cracked-I'll listen to it, to see if the CD itself is damaged.
The CD Christian Music's Finest Instrumental was not encased-it had been opened by somebody before sending it to me.
I won't be ordering any more from you, I did not receive what I paid for, or in the condition it should be in.

I like OLDIES.com because it markets a lot of older and very old programs on DVD and many unusual foreign ones that I find especially interesting, as long as the DVDs have English subtitles (SDH) because the recorded sound for many movies is hard to understand, even with US films, and it is necessary or very desirable to be able to read the spoken words.

I was impressed by how well this item was packaged. The item is breakable however you made the possibility of that happening very low. It’s obvious you took great care in making sure this item arrived unscathed. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. This will be exhibited during my great niece’s 1st birthday party-of course it’s an ice-cream themed party, taking place in the massive spaced yard and this will be a perfect addition to the decor. Thanks a million!

Oldies.com doesn't stock the most comprehensive inventory of films, but it offers more than enough of them to satisfy the average to above-average cinephile and at very welcome, competitive pricing (take that, Bezos!). This last order was about the sixth one I've placed with Oldies.com, and every one of those orders has been satisfactorily delivered (I opted to order an amount sufficient to qualify for free USPS media rate shipping). If in future I'll buy more DVD's or Blu-rays, Oldies.com will be the first place I'll look for the titles that I'd like to have.

Several LP record albums were absolutely, atrociously FILTHY! Several records had their shrinkwrap ripped across the entire front cover. Furthermore, others had sloppily torn stickers. In addition, several of the items we wanted most were apparently out of stock (we received no notice of this from the seller beforehand). Two items were missing from the box although they were, indeed, paid for! A terrible experience from a company which we have used many times previously.

my wife and I are retired, senior citizens. we have ordered several movies using your website in recent months. due to the covid virus, we do not go out to movie theaters so we depend on other means to see movies we like. this last purchase, "for the greater glory," made my wife very happy as we were having a hard time locating it. thanks again.

I normally order from regular retailers but oldies had such great options and the price was right. I was pleasantly surprised- all the movies I ordered came in perfect condition factory sealed. I'm a collector so the condition matters to me. The shipping was fast and packaged perfectly. Can't wait to order again and hope they get more unique movies in!

OLDIES.com found a hard-to-find DVD copy of NELSON ALGREN LIVE for me, only BluRay was available online. It just arrived in the mail in great shape, the wait was short from order time to delivery. OLDIES.com has a great selection of older films, it is a joy to get a catalog from them. I recommend them to my Cinephile friends & relatives!

Your online ordering process does not allow the option to edit or change the order. I recently placed an online order, however, when I completed the order process, it used a PREVIOUS shipping address that was NOT correct. Because you do not have an option to edit order or shipping info, I immediately called By TELEPHONE, and was told that the shipping address had been updated. Several days later, I received a message stating that the order was "OUT FOR DELIVERY", but to THE WRONG ADDRESS that was "supposedly" corrected. The customer service rep. that I had spoken to LIED to me when she said it was "taken care of." She did not do a damn thing to correct the shipping address, even after saying that she had taken care of it.

I recently bought a mystery box of 100 new 45s at a great price. Package arrived yesterday, and indeed, this was new old stock. I have to say overall it was a good buy and the value for what you spend is pretty great. They did a good job of mixing up genres. My only gripe is it was 34% country, but the rock and r&b record selections made up for it. I will be ordering these again!

I had previously ordered from this company a few times when I ordered the Godfather Trilogy and a book about movie speeches. I received an email stating that my movies had been delivered to my mailbox. I checked and they were not there. I waited a few days and visited my local post office. They tracked the package and saw that it had at least been near my apartment complex but did not know exactly what box it had been placed into. I then called Oldies and was treated very rudely by a representative. I asked to speak with someone that may care about my little situation. The rep put me on hold. After I sat on hold for some time, I hung up and called back. The next person was a bit more understanding but insisted that it was not their responsibility and I needed to take it up with the post office. I explained that I had already done this and she told me to do it again. So, I did. I went back to the post office and they could not do anything except look in the back to see if it just happened to be there. It was not. I called Oldies back and spoke to the person that told me that their responsibility ended when they handed the product over to the USPS. She told me that they would not send me another set of DVD's and would not refund my lost money. The total cost was around $18. Sadly, they were willing to lose me as a customer for about $18. I do not recommend anyone purchasing anything from these rude people.
