COMPLETE SCAM!
Everything OnlineDivorce do can be done free by yourself just by requesting the papers from the court. They charge $139 just to fill out their "survey". Yup $139 just to put your basic info onto paper. Tried to cancel and they refused to refund because by me typing my info then choosing not to use them (they never filled out my papers) they provided me "service". Then they automatically sign you up for a $35 a month subscription and another $10 annually to keep your info in their system which keeps charging until you cancel, but this is only written in small print in their terms and conditions, no where else.

COMPLETE SCAM, take your simple divorce to the courthouse and get the papers for free via the self help desk.

They make it very very hard to get your money back
Don't put your money down. V hard to get it back. You ask by email. OnlineDivorce make you call. You then have to fill out a form. Send another email. They tell you they'll call you in two days. I ask 27 times why they can't just refund the money. Best answer "Because it's policy" These people should be investigated for fraud. They prey on people at their lowest. I hope they get ripped off too. Some of these five star reviews are likely fake/bots. Poor English etc

Avoid!
I applied for a divorce in September 2020. I paid for the platinum services which were never completely rendered. The courts dismissed my case because my spouse was never served with the paperwork due to an issue with USPS. It took me calling repeatedly to get to a supervisor and even after that OnlineDivorce refused even a partial refund because they can't control the mail... and I can? Plus, the supervisor was rude and condescending. I wasted over $500 on this company due to paying for the paperwork, platinum services and the monthly $24.99 subscription fee. Now I have to start on my own from scratch because they refuse to rectify the issue without me paying another $269 for platinum services.
AVOID AVOID AVOID going through this company!

Not all experience is golden
What a piece of trash company that does nothing but lure people into their website for low price but attached hidden fees and add on left and rights.

I received the paperwork and paid and extra 30 something dollars for them to send the paperwork to me right away. When I did that, some random dude decided to call me and start to upset me. I don't need upsell, I need to get the paperwork.

Once I received the paperwork, I reviewed and found many mistakes. OnlineDivorce put all the words in big font so it looks like it is gigantic amount of paperwork. On top of it, I ended up having to edit and correct multiple mistakes. I called them about it and transfer after transfer after transfer to get hang up. I called 3x and got hang up.

Then they have the nerves to charge me a monthly subscription fee in their very very very very fine print. I found out when my bank alerted me of the charge. I logged in to cancel the subscription to only have another fine fine print saying g that they will charge me a $9 paper holding subscription fee. I have to go to another tab to cancel it.

I screen shots everything. I am calling my bank to reject any charges from the.

What a piece of trash business.

Quality, reliability
Hello, I want to share my impressions of the services of Online Divorce. I am very pleased since I was able to win a lawsuit about my business, and all this is your merit. I am very grateful to the technical support, contacts for tips and recommendations. This is undoubtedly the best service for such human money. I will recommend you to my friends and colleagues, because you are real heroes.

For amicable divorces
My wife and I decided all post-divorce terms in advance, so we could qualify for online divorce. We had some disagreements on the way, but eventually found compromises. It's cheaper this way. I told her that if she wanted to have money for a new life, we should try and work our issues out. Paying thousands of dollars to lawyers was just not an option.

Immediate attack for extra $299 Premium listing what...
Immediate attack for extra $299 Premium listing what looked like the $139 initial payment offer. Then court fees not included and more charges coming, I suppose.
You took my debit card for $139 then declined it for the unexpected extra $299? I'll try again tomorrow for Karen has accomplished very little in this marriage and spends freely abundantly on her self, her drug addicted friends and total strangers. Pandemic took my company down and Karen took or stoke the rest behind my back. She's a xanax, oxycodone, crystal Beth addict and is prone to gossip, make believe, fairy tales. In HD Ave lot's of police records, 911 tapes, recordings of her daily unending verbally abusive rants that turn to vicious physical punching kicking me attacks. I love her, tried my best and failed. My daughters don't want to see her call her Psycho $#*!. She's in denial all the time the hypocrite.

Some Glaring Omissions
I used OnlineDivorce.com for my divorce because it was a very simple one. It saved me from figuring out what needed to be filed and was a reasonable cost. The reasonable cost thing is very important because I am exceedingly poor. Anyway, In the instructions it said that you had to pay a fee to file and to find out how much from the local court. In my case, it was $435. What OnlineDivorce.com failed to mention, is that most poor people qualify for a fee waver in CA. I was unlucky enough to find that out after I had paid the fees. I was very eligible for a fee waver, so because of their misleading statement that I "had to pay a fee" I am out $ 435. Which I cannot afford. Also, in the submitting of the final documents, it fails to mention, that the judgement has to be notarized by TWO notaries. It does not even mention that CA requires one notary, much less two.

UNAUTHORIZED charges will appear on your account.
BEWARE this company advertises 1 flat fee. But the next thing you know your account is being charged without authorization $34.99 a month. Read below there claim that other companies will charge UNFORESEEN charges. BUT that's what OnlineDivorce did to me. When you try to call the phone number on your credit card you get an outgoing message that hangs up on you. You would think a company that does "legal" work would act legally. But this is not the case. I was forced to cancel my credit card to stop the charges. I decide to divorce my husband at least once every four years and find it very cathartic to go online and order paperwork. So this isn't the first time I've done this and with other companies. They are the only folks who kept charging me.

Straight Forward Divorce... not with them...
I had a straightforward divorce with no property or children, and OnlineDivorce could not get the paperwork right. It was rejected by the courts 6 times until I finally figured it out myself. My divorce is done and they still sent paperwork to complete thinking it was open. It took over a year to complete my paperwork no thanks to them. I've reached out to address the issues with them and I got just the response I expected. They offered no resolution and their rebuttal didn't even make sense. They are so incompetent that they think they sent me paperwork last week when really they sent me that paperwork in May and I've finalized my divorce since then. Their customer service is not helpful at all and even though they put you on for 10 minutes so they can read your file, they still have no clue what is going on with your case or how to fix the problems they created. I would definitely avoid especially if your divorce is friendly. Just go get a mediator and getting it done quicker and easier than this company can.

Unnecessary and unwanted hounding.
What I paid for was easy enough to understand. However, the constant hounding by the company in order to get me to upgrade to their premium service was ridiculous. Roughly 2 notifications per day from the company. One source was from a rep who would switch between calls and emails. And another seemed to be their automated system. Between the two, it was ongoing harassment, Going through a divorce is already tough enough on its own. Being on unemployment because of the pandemic and combined loss of household income makes it more difficult. Being repeatedly harassed to spend money I don't have became infuriating very quickly.

I had a problem with the company contacting me repeatedly. After passing my breaking point I angrily replied to an email from a rep, in which I told them to f* off. Thats when the harassing emails and calls stopped.

A waste of time
OnlineDivorce aren't accurate. They aren't efficient. They don't care about getting things done quickly. I have been trying to get my answers from the questionnaire onto the forms correctly for months. They aren't able to do it. And by the way they don't respond to emails so use the phone. And be patient because they aren't in any hurry to get things done. After all you pay them monthly until you get divorced. So you pay them for wasting time.
I don't know if I will ever get divorced by using them because things aren't going well. My recommendation is to explore other options.
I'm not happy with their service.

OnlineDivorce.com is an excellent option
I just obtained a Divorce Decree and can honestly say that Online Divorce is a real bargain for the money.
OnlineDivorce.com is an excellent option if you want to avoid red tape and complete divorce paperwork as quickly as possible. Besides, OnlineDivorce guarantee that the court approves the papers, or you get a refund. Though, I did not need to check this statement since everything went smoothly. Thank you!

Online Divorce is such a great idea,
I just want to say thank you for making the divorce process so straightforward for me. It was a difficult time, and I didn't have the time and energy to deal with paperwork. Online Divorce is such a great idea, and I'm so happy that I chose this online divorce provider! OnlineDivorce completed the papers really quickly, and everything was handled properly.

I'm soo grateful!
OnlineDivorce helped me sort the paperwork issues with minimal effort, stress, and costs, and I'm soo grateful! It was very important for me to complete the divorce forms without leaving home and make this step as fast as possible.
I can recommend OnlineDivorce to everyone as a reliable and helpful paperwork drafting service.

Money back guarantee is a lie
I was really looking forward to getting my paper work and divorce down online. I paid the initial $139+. Then a rep called and signed me up for premium and spent 30mins on the phone and never said anything about deadline. And guaranteed me there's be no additional charges after the $139 + $299
I even asked Michael to send me reminder to do paperwork since I have a tight work and home schedule and traveling
He never followed up after sending initial info or even when I sent email requesting advice on how to proceed
I called customer service and OnlineDivorce told me to cancel online and request refund.
I didn't that and filled out every form they asked.
Now I just talked to someone in billing who claims to be a supervisor but has no patience amd would not transfer me to anyone in billing. Nor to a manager even though I as a client am requesting
He is not willing to give me a full refund. I haven't even filled a single form
I signed up in good faith. And if the service was good and didn't just keep charging me additional subscription without any service I am don't think this is a good company nor service.

I feel that if I don't upgrade, this will be a hard...
I feel that if I don't upgrade, this will be a hard process and very unpleasant. I was unaware of the monthly charge after the 30 days emailed to me and with my receipt after I paid $139. Not nice! Why not just offer a premium service off the bat and provide a Rate table and be upfront with your service and process. This is Bait and Switch.

Hard enough dealing with a shady husband.

Excellent job
This service turned out to be even better than I expected! Along with preparing my legal forms, onlinedivorce.com takes on the serving and filing processes.
Given the fact that my divorce case was quite simple, all that I had to do was to answer the questions on the site, fill out the forms, and only attend the final hearing

Spam you with upgrade options
Spam you with upgrade options. Make it seem like you will get inadequate help if you do not upgrade. The flaunt their 179 price all over their page until it comes time to pay. As soon as you attempt to check out OnlineDivorce push the premium down your throat. I am now worried that in order to have the proper help I will be pressured into buying premium or run the risk of my divorce being filed incorrectly.

Online Divorce canceled my refund request
I used the service for one day and a half and so far it has been unbelievable. I requested a refund after a day and a half because I reconciled with my spouse after a day… Someone reached out to me via email to request a call for my refund request but I requested to communicate via email because of a significant time difference. I am stationed in Japan. After communicating back and forth via email, OnlineDivorce said I could only get a partial refund… because I had completed an interview… I shared evidence that I never completed the interview and they still said that I couldn't get a refund after a day. Additionally whatever was completed, was subpar, because i didn't have the information I needed to complete the interview. They didn't work with my active duty military status. After communicating with someone daily on my refund claim- my refund claim was closed - because they said I didn't answer any phone calls. I feel so stupid for using this service.
