Terrible experience with Opodo!! Do not use this company!! We’ve been calling and emailing and using the chat for weeks to try to change a flight that now has a 22 hours layover in Moldova with FlyOne. By the way this is not an extremely safe part of the world given the situation in Ukraine but Opodo wouldn’t refund us for that reason either in the first instance. We received multiple emails from Flyone offering us a refund on the flight of 110% for the delay- very fair- but this needs to happen through opodo since we booked through them (this makes sense to us). Every time we call Opodo they say it’s up to FlyOne to change the flight, but FlyOne is unable to and we can’t do it on either company’s website. Opodo refuse to send an email or get in contact directly with FlyOne to sort this and they keep promising to call us back to help sort this but don’t. The last person even hung up on us. Absolutely no way to get help from Opodo with this and our flight is tomorrow!!! 8792619945

I spent over £3,500 on flights with Opodo. The airline cancelled one leg of the flight and could not offer an acceptable alternative (only offered one alternative that involved a 12 hour+ stop over!). Opodo did not bother to look into options with other airlines. They seem to deliberately make it difficult to call them, instead pointing you to the website which is useless when trying to deal with relatively complex arrangements. I requested a full refund once it was clear no feasible alternatives were going to be offered and booked flights with a different airline at very similar times via a different website. After repeatedly chasing and being promised a refund was coming, I finally got £2.800 back. I called again and asked for the remaining £700 to be told that this would be paid once recovered from the airline in 7-10 days and that I was definitely due a full refund given the airline cancelled my flight. I then get an email a week later saying nothing else is due as I need to pay a penalty for the return leg of the flight given this was not cancelled by the airline, only the outbound flight. Utterly unacceptable. AVOID OPODO

I placed an order, but their system calculated an incorrect price in the last step. In the last step order system added € 7.88 to the price, this fee is for payment with VISA CREDIT card and my payment was paid for by MASTERCARD and there is no charge.
After that I try to make another reservation again, the amount was same until the last payment step. I try to make a reservation after another day, the price has not changed, so I'm 100% sure they are lying about dynamic prices, because the price changed only during the last step on payment of the reservation. And for some reason the increased price is exactly as VISA CREDIT card service fee- exactly one cent per cent. So they are fooling people.
I informed OPODO, sent bank statements and screenshots, asked them to correct the mistake, thought maybe they didn't know their system was billing incorrectly, but they refused to fix the problem.

The worst experience !!! Don't buy through opodo !!!
We bought plane tickets through opodo, the flights changed and we had to ask for a refund. Each time they tell me that the request was sent to the airline but the airline claims that there is no request from the opodo. I'm desperate, I don't know what to do anymore, every time I contact them they tell me the same thing, that I have to wait even though it's been over 9 months since I applied for a refund.
The last time I was told that there was a problem with the application submitted by the opodo to the airline and they made another request in April. Therefore, they postponed the payment of the money for another 6 months. He will probably do the same thing again in 6 months.
I have sent countless emails but I reply back with standard emails telling me to wait. I really don't know what to do anymore.

Has anyone noticed that there is a new fraud happening where an online merchant shows a value they will charge to your Apple Pay account but when you double click it charges a far higher amount?
This happened with me today with Opodo travel app. The amount they overcharged was 60% of the actual authorized charge. I had to cancel my card and they’re refusing to refund the money.
I am so angry. It’s a part of edreams/Odigeo which is a big company.

Resuming: A SCAM! Don't ever trust Opodo. I did one booking of two flights with them and they only confirmed the inbound flight. Spent hours chatting with their customer service which is terrible by the way, and they tried to make it my fault with some excuse my card was declined and then one of the flights was sold out. My first card was declined and then I booked again with a different card that was accepted!! If it was accepted means their system accepted the purchase for those flights as those flights being available. If there was a fault it would be their system as it accepted the payment for a flight that allegedly didn't exist. This is of course a lie because it is two days later and the flight is still available to purchase on other websites!!! So I'm trying to get a full refund for both flights and they only want to refund me one of them. So in other words they want to refund half of my purchase that they accepted and confirmed (have an email as proof). Am I supposed to walk to Egypt and just use my outbound flight from there?! OPODO IS A SCAM. Stay away from them and eDreams. Find other options. I will open a credit card dispute through my bank.

Worse company I have EVER booked with. I booked a holiday package within 12 hours I had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. I contacted Opodo to cancel who advised I have to contact the airline direct and the hotel is non refundable. When clearly on they website it states the hotel is fully refundable (free cancellation, have proof off they false advertisement). I did get a refund from the airline direct. Contacted the hotel direct who advised the rooms are free cancellation and fully refundable but have no reservation??? Contacted Opodo numerous times who are very unprofessional and good at messing you about, after 2 weeks they have told me they will escalate my case but this should have been escalated at the first instant, which again doesn’t not guarantee I will get my money back. I have now contacted my bank and contact my legal team to take action against Opodo for false advertising and causing me and my family mental stress.

I got a ticket from Zürich to Athens for May 2022 and paid an extra 19 € per person to have a changeable ticket. I have also bought the OPODO prime. I always checked my account to see if the ticket changeable is and my OPODO account showed me always that I can change my travel time one day before the departure time. However, two days before the departure suddenly the OPODO showed me that I cannot change it anymore online and I need to call them. They told me that the ticket is not changeable. How is this possible? the ticket I paid extra to make it changeable and three days before departure time they told me that it is changeable but as I wanted to change the date, OPODO did not allow me. They made mistake and did not take responsibility for their mistake. I lost about 600 € due to the mistake of OPODO and they do not refund my money or do not offer me any other ticket.
I attached two files, one shows that I am allowed to change my ticket one day before departure and another one (2days before departure) is showing that I have not allowed to change the travel time.

On the 23/04/2022 I purchased a flight ticket for myself and my two other adult sisters via Opodo, on the 29th May I made my way from Halifax to Luton so that me and my sisters can all go to Standsted London airport to catch our flight the following day 30/05/22 at 2:35pm.
At 10am when I checked my flight status with Opodo with the view to check check in status and see our boarding passes, I realised that the status was :” we are dealing with your cancellation” . I immediately rang opodo to clarify the issue as I did not request for any cancellation. Between 10am and 13 pm, I rang 3 times to try and speak to a senior manager as they kept telling me that I had requested cancellation on the 29th and when asked to produce how I did it they said I did it online. Once at the check in point with Pegasus airline ref KD5VAB we were told that our names did not even figured on their list, no tickets was even purchased at all to them by Opodo. When contacted, Opodo have not been able to give us an explanation. I have been asking for a refund as I think it is a fraudulent activity and not even a mistake but they are refusing.
I have spend more money, time, energy and we are all psychological affected. I now have strong headache by the result of trying to resolve and reason with the agents working for Opodo who I described very incompetent, as “thieves and a gang of fraudsters” robing us from our hard earned money. I left my 5 children at home and a husband for a holiday I thought was going to give me some relief and a lovely time. I now need to consult a doctor and might not be able to resume work on Monday the 06th June.
Opodo owe me and our families a big apology and a full refund of all our very hard earned money.

One star is even too much for this scam of a company. sold me a ticket from Paris to Marseille and back of a journey that did not exist. No flight; no train... And now they are not refunding me. When you speak to the agent they remain vague and send you in loops, so you cannot resolve your issue.
STAY CLEAR OF OPODO. It once was a good service but seems that since Covid they sell non existing tickets to make money. SO effectively stealing from you

Do not use this company. I went on vacation renting a car through them. It turned out that the company had been closed for several months. I couldn't rent the car I paid for. A consultant from Opodo wrote to me that they would return the money for the second rental. Now they do not want to pay back the second rent, but they returned the money for the first one which was much cheaper. Through their company, I had to pay three times more money as they were supposed to be.

I wish I could give the a 0. When I booked I payed priority boarding so I could take a carry on bag with me. When I did the check in with vueling I realised that Opodo booked the basic ticket (although I payed for priority boarding) so I have to pay for a check-in bag (35 EUR) because there was no more priority seats in that flight.
The worse of all it is that the call center is useless...waiting for 30 minutes for someone to give me wrong information. They have no idea about companies luggage policies. Very stressful.

from skyscanner redirect me to opodo, the price was in US and was 242$, afther insert my name and phone number the price change in EUR of 230.66. they post harestmnet mesageess : "hurry the price could change". afther i insert my payment information sudanly pup up a message "It looks like airline has incresed the fare since you made your search.."273.42 euro! i no made any searfch on this time, only i was in the process of payment. this is clears scamer of ~ 40Euro. firts time use Opodo, skyscanner. Never again for shure

Absolute worst agency you can give your money to. Any trouble you encounter they are impossible to reach. It's one of those money taker scam companies. After 81 of roaming minutes I finally reached a rep and he told me basically screw you you won't get any help. People, do yourself a huge favour and book directly trough flight companies, avoid my $1000 mistake. It's a shame that one star reviews are the lowest, opodo deserves NONE!!!

I’ve been trying to get hold of Opodo by email, by the app and by phone and I am having no luck! The telephone messaging service keep saying it doesn’t recognise my reference number, I have tried at least 25 times and no response same goes with the App. I am so upset with their services. I am travelling abroad to support refugees, I have paid for my ticket etc and I cannot afford to lose the payment for the flight, which has been cancelled by the flight company. My good deed is turning into a nightmare!! Can anyone please help, please OPPDO get in touch!!

Opodo is a company which steals your money. I booked a ticket through them and gave me the booking reference with confirmation on the ticket. The next day I called the travel agency for the flight, they informed me that the ticket is cancelled. I didn't cancel the ticket at all. On Opodo website, it shows that the booking is confirmed, but on the original website of the flight, it shows there is no booking as it is cancelled.

Terrible service. Not only the website is a mess, but they automatically sign up for subscriptions and take 59 euros from your account, and then never answer when being asked for refunds or communication. Also there is no way to cancel stuff on your own, you always have to CALL. and they never answer. Terrible way to do business in 2022.. They also offer discount codes that never work lol. the whole thing is just a scam. don't book via them, its honestly terrible

Worst experience ever! Save yourself stress do not book with these clowns who nearly missed my flight. They state they will automatically check you in through their app as could not get online, the check-in form was glitchy. When I got to the airport my return flight was checked in but going was not. The airport staff told me Opodo are the worst they do it all the time. Had to pay £68.00 to check as Opodo clowns did not do it through their terrible app. Opodo booking reference: 9248359333
