Stay Away
I bought the motor module for my ice maker. These guys charged me $150. PartSelect are way overpriced. After receiving the part and doing some more research, it turned out the thermostat in my ice maker was defective and the motor module worked fine. I called PartSelect immediately and explained the situation. I even said I did not expect a refund because I did install the part and it is an electronic part. I simple asked if they could offer me a discounted price for the part I actually needed. They refused and did not even offer to help me in any way. I then went back online and continued my research. I found the ENTIRE ICE MACHINE ASSEMBLY for $50. It arrived in a couple days and solved my problems. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY CHARGE 3 TIMES AS MUCH FOR ONE PART OF THE ICE MAKER AS IT COST TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE ICE MAKER ASSEMBLY... TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ON TOP OF IT ALL AND THEN THEY SENT ME THIS LINK TO REVIEW THEM... Really? Well here is my review. PartSelect, I will never purchase from you again and have warned my friends.

Order 1 part at a time!
Your happiness with this company depends on what you order. My dishwasher was leaking all over my kitchen floor. I was thrilled to find this site and found a top sprayer that had been broken for months. Thinking I had hit the jackpot with repairing the appliance I ordered both parts at the same time. That was a big mistake! 3 weeks later my dish washer was still flooding the kitchen. I tried calling the number listed on the website. Never did get an answer... Getting extremely upset I canceled the entire order.
Noticing that the sprayer was on backorder, I placed another order for the bottom door seal that showed in stock. It was delivered 4 days later. The instructions in the video worked great and I saved a service call. Normally I would expect to receive the part that was in stock and wait for the item on backorder. It appears PartSelect place a great deal of importance on the shipping charges.

Getting the runaround
I bought 2 things a seal and a maintenance kit, it showed up in a padded envelope. I opened it up and the plastic tensioner was broken, I called them and PartSelect said they would send me another one. They sent 2 kits and charge for 2 kits. When I saw the charge on my cc I e-mailed them and got a rude response saying I ordered 2 kits, so I called a they told me it was a type o and has been taken care of. Next day I got 2 kits In a cardboard box and bunch of bubble rap. So now I have been charged for three kits and no credits and have to pay to ship back there type o $#*!ed up all around if you ask me :( as I was typing this I got a email saying they are sending me a refund of 44,31 that covers one kit? I am still missing a credit for 1 kit

Got the perfect parts! IT. STILL. WORKS! For only about 15 bucks, now that's a win!
The agitator in our washer was limp. The top part of the agitator just flopped around and didn't move the clothes down to the paddles to be agitated. Some googling told me the dogs in the top agitator were shot. I needed new agitator cam. Then I found that my model was one which made the top and bottom parts of the agitator as a sold piece. The makers had melted the bottom agitator to the cam, and so fused the two parts together so you had to replace the lot! I didn't want to buy a whole assembly for a hundred bucks or more. So, I found the parts on partselect.com for a model older than mine. After a little creativity with a power drill, I had freed the agitator cam assembly from the agitator, and separated the two parts of the agitator. The new cam fit perfectly, and the machine works great for about $15 with shipping included. I couldn't be happier. And all our clothes smell great again! Thanks PartSelect! You are a life saver!

Clothes Dryer Issue
My dryer was not turning but I could hear the motor and it was heating. I found out it was the belt that was broken. Googled replacement parts and this service came up for parts for my Kenmore dryer. It was easy to navigate and PartSelect even had a video on how to replace it. I ordered up the part right away and upon further review of the video and looking at my dryer I saw that my pulley wheel part needed replacing as well. I ordered that right away. The parts arrived quickly and one day apart. My granddaughter and I used the repair video and had it back up and in working order in less than an hour. I'm a 61 year old woman and she is turning 13 soon. With the helpful video and no experience with anything like this... if we can do it, anyone can! Very satisfied!

Excellent Supplier
Would highly recommend this supplier for appliance parts. Had the part I needed and shipped at once. I got involved with a major retail chain (in bankruptcy), the stores are closed, but the repair division is still going, I had bought my stove from them. I had called them, PartSelect sent a repair man out, he said he had to order the part and he would be back in a week, gave me a time and date, but he never showed up. No call or any contact. After a month, being without my oven, I check the internet, found the part (almost $100 less) at PartSelect, placed my order and it was received in about 4 days. The day my repairman installed the part I had received from PartSelect, the part I had ordered from the major company, came in I am still waiting for permission to return the part to them for a refund. I had paid up front for the part and a major part of the labor. In the attached picture, the old part is setting on top of the new part installed on my stove.

Fix it Yourself - It's Simple
I have repaired several of my own appliances using Parts Select. I think I have saves at least $2,000
(Washing Machine, Dish Washer, Refrigerator, Ice Maker, Gas Range) Repair people usually charge ~$150 to respond & diagnose then more when PartSelect return to install the parts and labor. Average appliance repair person cost is $275 to $350. At that rate you aren't sure what will happen next so you go purchase a new appliance.
Parts Select is your alternative.
Im not a mechanic. Just enter the Make & Model # and look up your problem on Parts Select website.
Troubleshooting tips are listed along with You Tube Videos on how to easily install the part.
Most repairs are much easier than you imagine.
I once ordered an unneeded part and was able to return it for full price.

A lot of help but too long on shipping
Light went out in fridge. The obvious, the bulb, was not the issue. Went on YouTube and watched a very informative video. He advised that if you enter the model number into the PartSelect website, you could look for your issue, see how frequent that issue occurs (so you could plan what to check first) and then the correct part comes up. No searching trying to figure out the correct one for your appliance. LOVE THE EASE. The only downside for me was I thought the shipping of 8.00 was a little high and then how long it took to receive the part. Could barely see in the fridge without inside light. But, back on the upside, PartSelect then suggest a video for you to view showing you how to install said part. The whole support experience was helpful since, I admit, I had no idea the little triangle in the fridge that triggers the light turning off popped out and had an electrical attachment that can fail. Because of ease I would still use the company again.

Excellent Experience (Once Again)
This purchase was one of several I've done with PartSelect.com. Once again, the transaction was flawless. This time, it was an ice maker auger and drawer for our 20-year old GE refrigerator. The part was exactly what we needed. It arrived sooner than expected. It was a genuine GE part. It was packaged very well and was a perfect fit.
My previous purchases from them have gone the same way. This is an excellent company with which to do business. No worries - if you need to do a return, it is a seamless process. I've had to return one part, not because it was wrong but, because we decided to replace the appliance instead of repair it. The return process was simple and the credit appeared on my card sooner than expected.
Even though I found this part a few dollars cheaper on another website, I opted to buy from PartSelect.com again because of how PartSelect have treated me in the past. Sometimes, saving a few dollars elsewhere isn't worth the risk when you have a sure thing going. This is one of those times.

PartSelect did not handle the shipping time correctly.
I made an order to buy dishwasher parts from PartSelect on Monday, The website shows the part will be ship out within the same day if you put order within the following 7 hours. That means I put the order early in the morning. And the shipping selection is 2-3 days. ( PartSelect have options: 3-7 days, 2-3 days, and next day delivery). After put a order and pay full amount of price and shipping fees which is about 20% of the products price. Today (Tuesday 11/23) I got email from Fedex to tracking the order which show me the arriving day will be next Monday which is 7 days from the shipping day. I question the shipping handling is not match to the order to the customer service? Their answer said the shipping date is really not guaranteed, It maybe delayed by the carrier. I am not satisfied with their answer. This will be the last order I make from PartSelect.

Horrible Customer Service
I ordered a part for my washing machine 11/12/19 paid for 2-3 day shipping on 11/18/19 no part arrived called customer service said somehow the order was cancelled (?) giving them the benefit of the doubt I ordered it again and was told I would have it by 11/21/19 no package I then referred to an email inserted the Fed X tracking # to find I won't be receiving it until 11/26/19 when I called to express my concern PartSelect said they would refund me $2 and change and the shipping was out of their hands they do offer overnight shipping however that solution was never offered in the initial call and for the second shipment either before you go to this company check out Amazon the original order with shipping was $36.00 through Amazon ordered it 11/21/19 it will be here 11/23/19 for $6.31

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE IT IS!
I needed an extra wire shelf for my Samsung freezer, and tried this company. PartSelect showed a picture that looked right, so I bought the product. When it arrived I found that it was far too short for my freezer, so I sent it back.

I paid $30 for the part. Turns out that Partselect will NOT repay you for your return freight, which cost me $15. So I wasted $15 for the "privilege" of being misled by a picture and being sent the wrong part.

Avoid this company like the plague it is.

UPDATE: Here is my reply to PartSelect's response:

PartSelect's response doesn't cut it.

The fact is that 1.) The part was wrong. I put in the correct model number for the appliance, yet PartSelect sent me the wrong part anyway. And to make matters worse: 2.) The picture was deceiving. It looked like the part was correct, yet when it arrived, it was too short.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Delayed delivery
I know it's not your fault, but the actual part I needed was a 39 cent rubber check valve that I ended up paying well over $100 because I had to buy the complete pump assembly to get the valve. However, when I ordered the part I asked for upgraded shipping, which I paid for, but when I was notified the part had shipped, it indicated standard shipping. When I called to see what the problem was, an automated message said you were not taking calls and I should contact you via email. Since the part was already out of your system that seemed futile. Consequently, I waited over a week to get my part. Not very happy about that but the expensive part fixed the problem. BTW, when the package arrived, the box was crushed but fortunately the part survived.

Shipping SNAFU to my door
Sirs, I am not in the habit of complaining about small unavoidable problems in shipping products to consumers, but the process of receiving my shipment by PartSelect is a convoluted mess of delivery. This is a short description of receiving my refrigerator part: Part shipped via FEDEX, part transferred to USPS, part delivered to neighbor. Part held by neighbor for 4 days for a total of 17 days since it left PartSelect. I had to go to Post office to find out how to get my part. I was given a pix where the house was of which neighbor had part. Lesson: 1. Do not purchase anything over the internet that displays "FREE SHIPPING". These shippers have a contractual deal with Fedex, UPS, USPS, and private individuals to save money at your expense, thus, SNAFUS like this happens and we, the consumer, pay for other peoples ineptness. Accurate description, prompt service
I have an older washer/dryer and was surprised to find my model number and full parts specs for my washer. The top portion of the agitator stopped working. I recently had an issue with my fridge and I was charge $310 for a company to come out and put in a $. 75 spring. I figured I would just buy a new washer/dryer.
I found what I thought were the parts I needed based on googling. What was great was the video that PartSelect put on the webpage. I realized I could handle this job myself. I ordered the parts and confirmed PartSelect were for my washer. $40 later and it runs like new. It took about 5 days for the parts to arrive and the package indicated they were original parts. A big box store showed the same parts for less than half the price but it was from a 3rd parts and who knows where they were made.
I had a repair done on the washer about 3 years ago and at that time the repair guy said if I could keep the old washer going, even if it needed a tranny, it was better than the new washers he has worked on.
Very happy to have found PartSelect.

On Target
The website is organized in such a way that one can quickly identify the parts that one needs. I was quite confident that I had ordered the right thing, and the parts arrived just a few days later. Conveniently, the parts are sold as 'kits' that include the key accompanying components that make the repair successful. The receipt is sent via email (also convenient) and includes links to videos with very clear instruction on the steps needed to successfully install the replacement parts. The instructor had a very calm (Canadian) demeanor, almost like an uncle showing one how to do something, and he provided useful tips in case challenges were encountered during the process. Very pleased with the results: the 28-year old washing machine works 'like new'. Yay!

Unhappy with shpping
I ordered a part for my dishwasher. The part was exactly what I needed. The part is an updated version of the original part so it works slightly differently. I'm very happy with the part.
I'm very unhappy with the shipping process of this order. This part was ultimately delivered by USPS. What I am very unhappy about is that the part was shipped FedEX which is a very good LTL. The package was picked up by FexEx shipped a couple of miles for staging where it sat for for the weekend then on Monday was returned to the distribution center set to USPS and delivered on Tuesday the following week.
This is a very small part that could have been shipped USPS from the beginning. The part would have been delivered earlier, and I would have been very happy. Instead I was charged nearly $8.00 for the shipment which would have been much less and the part would have arrived on Saturday.

Had part and awesome video on how to install the new part
The refrigerator needed a new door hinge. Being an older model I wasn't sure I could even find the part. Part Select not only had the part, PartSelect also had an awesome video showing and explaining every step for removing the door, removing the old hinge, installing the new hinge, reinstalling the door, and adjusting/aligning the door. I'm pretty handy and could have figured it out, but this video was super. The video was complete with closeup views of the screws, bolts, etc. and it covered everything in less than 7 minutes. The video alone was worth more than I could have saved scrounging a cheap or used part from some other online seller. And, if the video wasn't enough, the email that notified my of the shipping of the order, included a link to the video and brief text version of the installation directions (attached an image of that part of the email). You get what you pay for and Part Select was an excellent deal.

Incredibly saddened by these events!
Good afternoon. Regarding the order # mentioned above, I placed this order on 6/27 and included the shipping for 2-3 business days.

It has now been 3 business days, and apparently even though 3 of the items are in stock, PartSelect have not shipped. This is extremely frustrating, as I have a freezer that is down, no communication from your company, and I paid a fee for 2-3 day shipping which has obviously passed without shipment.

I would appreciate the in stock items to be shipped as soon as possible, with shipping to get here ASAP. Please feel free to cancel and refund the out of stock clampI find the lack of communication, and the charges for something that cannot possibly be meant highly disconcerting and I feel overnight shipping is not out of the question, as I am trying to save food and wild game from spoilage awaiting poor customer service practices.

I have ordered parts for various appliances in the past, and never experienced anything like this, or these delays. Please advise ASAP.

Respectfully,

Michael A. Duncan
Dear sir/madam,

As you can see this original order was placed on the 27th of June, and then I sent an email to customer service on June 30th. However, today I have still not received any response from the original email.
So, since I received no communication I took it upon myself to call and find out what exactly was going on with this order considering I paid for expedited shipping which should have been here in 2 to 3 business days but did not arrive.
Upon investigation I found that my parts weren't even sent out because apparently nothing was in stock so they held the parts all of them the entire order until those parts came in with no notice no communication from part-select itself telling me that everything was on hold due to this fact. So, I got on the phone and called and told them please cancel the part that has not come in send the rest out as soon as possible. This, did happen that day my parts were supposedly shipped I was refunded the expedited shipping at which point the representative told me it would have no effect on my expedited shipping.
Well here it is June 8th and I still have no parts! So once again I pick up the phone and call because I have lost an entire freezer full of food and Wild game. And all I receive is oh well it should be there tomorrow.
I asked if anyone in either company the freight company or partselect themselves would take responsibility for this and I was told categorically no there was no provision for it so I am simply out $500 this, is ridiculous and unacceptable! If this is what's called customer service then I feel sorry for every generation that follows because having grown up in the service industry I would never dream of treating people this way!
I have made all of the overtures for communication on over three separate occasions, and you have taken no actions to assist nor responsibility for this ridiculousness for holding up my shipment and not communicating I guess that when parts are ordered that are vital to the running of a freezer it doesn't occur to anybody that hey this might be a problem and they may need this part. I guess, I should expect no response to this email either considering it's now been 11 days since the original email and I still have no response this company operates on a list then adequate customer service level and it is a crying shame I will be posting reviews online and I will be monitoring those postings and every time they are removed I will put them back up I will take pictures and post them as well I will let everyone know what kind of company parts select is and that if you have any issues it doesn't matter to them because they don't care about their customers as long as they don't have to pay for anything!
I will also ensure that this goes on any social media pages as well this is reprehensible conduct it's unacceptable and once again the American public is left out in the lurch by Big Business thank you for nothing, absolutely nothing!

Angered by the Total & Complete Lack of Service & Customer Care,

Michael & Morgan Duncan

Like new fridge in no time!
For several years, I struggled with a cracked crisper drawer in the fridge. Every time I used it I silently thought " We should replace this", but that seemed like such a hassle. Recently, when cleaning out the fridge, the cracked bin was too much and I took a deep breath and decided to try to replace it.

The process, through PartSelect, could not possibly have been any easier or faster! I found PartSelect online, was easily guided through to find my fridge model and then the part to be replaced. I ordered it and i had my new crisper drawer in my fridge in no time…I believe that I ordered it on a Sunday and had it in place on Wednesday! Thank you, PartSelect! If I had known it would be this easy, I would have visited your site when it first cracked.
