Worst ever online purchase
Beware!

Never buy anything from pepperfry.
Better buy from local store.
PepperFry will send u inferior/worst quality items and you don't have option to return it.
I bought a "Okinawa 4 Door Wardrobe in Coffee Finish by Mintwud" for rupees 19000/- but when it reached me i felt cheated.
Product was not at all same as described on website. Weight was less than half of what was on website. Material and clamps are clumsy. Backside of the wardrobe is like thick paper which a 5 year boy can break with bare hands. Drawers fittings are clumsy too. P

The "Okinawa 4 Door Wardrobe in Coffee Finish by Mintwud"wardrobe was not as prescribed on website. The plywood weight was mention around 92 kg, which would have made a sturdy wardrobe. So I ordered. Whereas what I received, the weight was hardly 30 kg combined which makes it clumsy
Dont fool people please

And guess what I couldn't return/replace it because of absurd/vague return/replacement policy.
So ended up wasting 19000 and more importantly, peace of mind.

Purchase on king size Solid wood coat product woodsworth
I had recently purchased online the above product end of June and delivered in 18th Aug. Products arrived damaged pack and reported them and there. But PepperFry promised the packing is good so no damage anticipated. They claim that they QA check. Unfortunately when the carpenter opened and fixed the stuff and found totally damaged and neither replacement offered Nor any compensation on time waste and their customer commitment. Finally today 2 sep they are taking it back and promised a refund. At last the consumer is at loss with time and delivery charge and assembling fee. I strongly suggest not to order from Pepperfry. At least as a customer satisfaction a senior manger should have been communicated with customer for customer retention.

Terrible after sale support. Incorrect description online
I picked up a 2 door wardrobe from Pepperfry. I needed something that would fit a specific space in the house and was looking for those specific dimensions. The issue started from the point of delivery.
When PepperFry delivered the product, the opened it all out including screws, small fittings etc and left it on the floor and disappeared stating the carpenter will come at a later time to fix it. Who does that? It is inconvenient and hazardous for people who have children and pets!
2. The carpenter came 2 days later to assemble the wardrobe. When he assembled it we realised that the dimensions were different. The depth according to their website for 17 inches, while the actual depth was 21 inches! Also, while fixing the wardrobe drawers, the hinges were damaged. The carpenter was supposed to come back immediately to fix it, it's been a week and we are still waiting.
3. I wrote to customer service who promptly wanted pictures. I sent it to them 3 days back and haven't got a revert till date.
Please go to urban ladder instead, they are priced better and their quality is way better!

Try them and get cheated and threatened
Wonder how these folks can be successful with such pathetic service and arrogant attitudes. On 12th of August i placed on order for a Bed which later we realised will be delivered much later than we needed and we had ordered the wrong item (Metal when we wanted wood). So called the call center to cancel the order. "No you cant cancel" "No you will not get a refund" "No I cant escallate" " No we cant resolve this" You have to wait for delivery to cancel. These were answers I got 2 days after I ordered. Upon much pleading I was told it is policy that one cannot cancel the order after 2 days even if the item is not even shipped! Fast forward on 2nd September Sunday morning, the delivery happens. Upon unpacking we find the item is substandard in quality. The metal sheet used will bend only with the weight of the mattress!... Now i immediately request for cancellation and return. The delivery person agrees to take it back. But then I get a call from the call center *******6157) Why do you want to return? I let the person know the reason - Sub standard quality being the main, doesn't match the quality expected for the money paid. "You cannot cancel" " we will not accept return" " No we cannot do anything" " No i cannot escalate" "No I will not initiate refund" - Except saying "go to hell" the person said everything else. Finally I did not take delivery and returned the item. Since then for the past 3 days I have been trying to get in touch with these folks on phone - not accessible... emails has only one response - "our standard policy and product is up to the mark - rest assured!" Rest assured with what loss of Rs. 20000/- and nothing to show. I even gave an option that I dont want a refund and willing to buy something else for the same amount. But there has been response to this offer. NOW I AM STUCK WITH NOTHING HAVING SPENT 20000/- MORE THAN 3 WEEKS AGO. ORDER NO. 304420513 WHICH IS SHOWING INVALID ON THE PHONE APPLICATION. Trying the numbers *******6157, *******7393, *******7379 & *******8595 for the past 3 days...

Worst quality.
Had bought wooden bookshelf 1 year back. After receiving the delivery came to know how cheap material is been used, the back of the shelf is literally cardboard like material, it's that thin! I tried to make peace even with that. Just after 6 months, there was white fungus growth over it... had to clean it all the time. This year too as monsoon have approached, experiencing the same problem, have to clean it almost everyday. Finally decided to seek help online, but learnt that many costumers are facing the same problem, n there's no solution from the company or so... I hoped I had read reviews first, no wonder it has 1.2 star rating.

How did it get 2 stars?
Shocking that PepperFry have 2 stars. I was a normal customer with a valid question. Their site was super buggy, their items are 2x the price & shipping times are double for what I can get in other online retail stores. So what am I paying this money for then? I know - BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. One curious question for which they just didn't have the spine to answer properly and kept copy pasting the same response. I felt like even a robot would have altered its responses but these people were just horrible. Just NEVER purchase from here.

My experience has been crazy and very frustrating with them.

Delivery staff is worst ever. Liars.( Read below, if you want to know why)

Delivery management - dont event ask about it, never ever on time.

I placed an order with them for Victoria Corner Stand, order number 305407795. It was supposed to be delivered to me between June 11 to June 14th.

Their delivery boy called me and told me that PepperFry have some commute issue so it will be delivered by 15th. But, they did not delivery by 15th. So I called them and told them to check.

I heard from Customer service that their system shows that delivery attempt was made on 14th and no one was available( What the F).

Anyways. I told them I never left home and I kept my phone on and I checked with my Apartment Security as well, no one came to delivery. So can you send it now. They said, it will be delivered shortly.

Another day goes by.on 16th I call them and they say they will delivery tododay.

16th morning - I get a call, that delivery will be done in 30 minutes

16th afternoon, no sign/ no calls

16th evening - no sign

16th EOD.#$#@ F) them. I call them to cancel my order.

And what I hear is, we dont care if you received product or not, your order can not be cancelled.

So here you go everyone. Never ever buy anything from them. Better to spend more money and buy from a reliable service provider or shops.

Pathetic service
My biggest mistake was not to check some reviews before buying from Pepperfry. I'm coming to know of so many bad reviews only when i decided to write a review myself.
First, their showroom has nothing to show, instead PepperFry show you on a screen... basically the very website you can also browse at home. Then they ask you to come back after finalizing the model, only to realize there are no additional benefits if they place order on your behalf... the store just wanted to show sale number. So i decided to order it myself at home, then when product came, it was badly packed, had some small piece comeoff... the delivery guys say it can be patched up by the carpenter who will come to assemble. When i asked, he said they come automatically the same day... when i called the carpenter he said he will come tomorrow... then next day he said he will come later next day... ONLY FOR ME TO REALISE YOU NEED TO CALL THE customer service number to place a assembly request! There are no information being sent on this in email or msg or even the delivery or carpenter bothered to tell the process... just making us wait. Guys... my advise would be pls check other big showrooms who deliver and assemble with a proper process and also immediate return/replacement when damage happens.

Pathetic Online shopping service
Given an option I would even rate 0.5 star to this so called luxury brands online shopping service. We ordered the this center table online through their website with 100% payment. We were given delivery date which was 1 and half month later than the booking date which we were okay with and went ahead. Inspite of that we dint receive the product not even an update as to why was the delivery delayed. We kept on calling the customer service and PepperFry kept on royally dodging us with 24 hours and 48 hours reply's for only giving an update about the order and not actually the product and finally after making some 8 to 10 calls and getting no relevant response we ended up cancelling the order. I couldn't not believe that in an era of buying veggies online and getting delivered at door step pepper fry could not manage a furniture to deliver in time that too with 100% pre payment. Leave alone the product they were not even in situation of updating the correct status of my order. I think it's high time they stop calling them selves a luxury brand. Even a local vendor could do better business then these.

Poor Quality of Product
Ordered Herp Executive Chair for 11K odd. The Pros are:

1. Received the chair well before promised delivery date.
2. Chair "looks": exactly as given in the website.

It may be my fault or misleading advertisement, that I got a poor quality product.
1. There is absolutely no manual or instruction to assemble the chair. Not that it is too difficult to assemble, but still it shows absolute lack of professionalism. This is not a toy set and should have come with assembly instructions.
2. The picture showed as if it has a metallic base, but it is made up of very cheap plastic. I'm not sure how long will this work. If the base breaks (which is often the case with most executive chairs), the chair is completely useless. All the money I spent on now hinges on this good-for-nothing plastic base.
3. Whatever glittered as metal in the picture is all plastic. The cladding around the handle which I thought is a chrome plated metal is very cheap plastic. China made toys could have had better plastic. My 5 year old can remove the cladding just with his nail. Also, the base of the handle is of very cheap plastic. Even if plastic is used, it could have been of better quality. I assure you that this is the worse kind of plastic that could have been used on a 11K+ chair.

Overall, I'm thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the product. I will never ever visit pepperfry (or for that matter, any online furniture store, for I got the raw end of the deal) or will buy any product from them.

Horrible company pepperfry
Pepperfry is the most untrusted of them all, I had ordered a mattress from the app and it is supposed to get delivered by 27th, which PepperFry didn't, after waiting for long I called them and tried to verify the matter, I was told that they are not in contact of the delivery agents and that they don't know the status, I was surprised but what to do, I had no other option but to wait, so I keep calling them everyday, and every day they come up with different excuses, now finally after 10 days suddenly when, I had called them, I was told that the product has been delivered, which was uttered lie, I raised complain and asked for the signed details of the me and they said they will give me the refund after investigating the matter, and if they found that it's not delivered i will get my refund, I had no option to wait, though it cost me a lot of tension, (obviously if you pay and still they try to do this kind fraud, how it feels) now immediately next I'm getting a message and an email to rate the app. Which is dangerous. I wonder why they are in the in business like way. We as costumers trust a site and order, they as company do $#*!ty tricks to do all sort of discomfort and try to do fraud. Horrible company. Try not to trust

Firstly if you want to cancel your order before it is delivered, there is no cancel and refund. If cancel before ship then have to pay a cancellation fee of 2.5%. There is return after delivery only if the product is damaged or else you are stuck with it. PepperFry say we have mentioned in the terms and conditions which most of us don't read.
Then the amazing cashback offers. They make you a real fool by providing you 20-40% cashback at the time of register. If u think u r getting a great deal and order a costly product to use the cashback later, u r wrong.
* You can avail only 25% of the cashback on your next order.
* Cashback offers have timelimit which u can use for only 15 days or so.

I feel really sorry for the people who have faced such isuues and then looking for the feedback from the victims.
I'm one of the victim. Please don't think it as Amazon or flipkart and order blindly. Sadly I fell for their hoax.

Hopeless customer service & misleading and cheating customers
I ordered a bunch of storage items. Because of the lockdown PepperFry delayed the delivery. On May 20, i receive an email from them that the deliveries are again rescheduled and due to unforseen circumstances, i could go ahead and cancel the order if i may wish to do so. Accordingly, i cancelled the order. After a series of back and forth mails where they have given so many conflicting informations and answers, i get a refund of Rs. 13576 for an amount of Rs. 14755 paid. They are claiming a processing fee... for what? They asked me to cancel the order and why are they penalizing me. I guess this is their way of making quick bucks! Nothing but cheating!

Wastage of money!
I ordered a queen size bed which when finally arrived was in such a bad shape that I had to re-order again only to get another queen size bed with multiple scratches which made it look really old and used. In the same order, I also ordered for a dining set of 4 and a sofa-cum-bed, it's been only 5 months and the dining set & the sofa-cum-bed are already broken (thanks to their low quality processed wood).

Nothing is covered in the one year warranty! I had to re-buy my home furnitures, Thanks to PEPPERFRY

Worst shopping experience, I ever had.
I decide to shop on pepperfry.com to buy some furniture for my home by seeing advertisement of their portal. I believe that PepperFry provide quality furniture without any damage. I ordered sofas 3 seater and they invoice me to wait for a month to deliver the material what you order and so i wait for a 2- weeks. They delivered the sofas (but it is wrapped in one single bundle, we asked supervisor it is in single bundle we ordered three seater sofas, it fully covered and the delivery man told that we send the carpenter to installed the sofas tomorrow and he doesn't answer to the question why it is in single bundle), so we don't open the wrapper. Then the carpenter came and open the wrapper and my family shocked it is one seater and we doubt already why it is in single bundle. The carpenter also send the image to the corresponded department about this problem. We contact customer care what it is. They reply suddenly and continuously told not to worry about that product we will look into the matter very soon and please wait for a 24 hours and we provide the solution for that. Again I wait for a day and they contact me to wait for 48 hours to make this problem to be fixed. In the mean time i called to the customer care for this issues ( I lost my recharge balance too and it leads over stress to my family). Three days has been passed, they contact me and said that they provide the refund money and the sofas will be taken by one of the delivery man and they provide the refund after a week ( it will automatically credited to your account, once the product has been return to the store.). After wait for a long, we doesn't receive any proper products what we order and we get the money once we credit to the pepperfry ( one month ago and it is again refund back for me 1 month back).

Any way hereafter i decide not to shop online for any bulk products. ( don't fall for a wrong advertisement).
This make me stress over a lot.

I have ordered on 17may 2020
PepperFry have taken money as it's a prepaid order the order is still not shipped as it was advised by them to reach by 29 May 2020 when asked customer care there is no reply no refund no review nothing and I am going forward to file a legal case against the same.
They are sending me emails about there pathetic offers but nothing about my money or product.
I have written an email to them but still no reply.

Worst ever service. This fraud company charges Delivery Fees and Installation Fees separately and don't even bother to install the product. When contacted customer agent (Ms. Aarzoo), she was very rude and denied both return and installation of the product outrightly as if I am asking her/company to lend me money. I requested her to get me connected to senior management but she denied in a way as if she is the only owner of the company.
Would not recommend anyone to buy a single product from this company. Guys, please do not waste your hard earned money in pepperfry products instead go to market and purchase product of your choice.

Pepper Fry: Order Accepted but no Update on Dispatch Dates and No option to Cancel the Order

I have ordered a Study Table from Pepper Fry. PepperFry mentioned it will be dispatched on May 29th 2020 but I did not got any confirmation from them till now. When I raised a complaint they replied with a standard Response template and with no details on dispatch dates. When they cannot deliver the orders why they are accepting it. And they are not giving any option to cancel the order also. This is really bad and never had such a bad experience with any other online shopping portals.

Poor Products, Poorer Customer Service - Deal with them if you want to feel cheated of your money
Damaged products delivered - Order was of INR. 41,000/- When i called the customer service team, the team was reluctant to take back the product, Customer service sucks big time, PepperFry will shamelessly tell you that they will repair the damaged product and give you the same product for the same price. If a customer has to buy refurbished product, they can buy from OLX, why would they pay the inflated price at Pepperfry? Customer service representatives are rude, unhelpful and also lie so please RECORD ALL YOUR CLLS WITH THEM without fail or else they will tell you all lies. Also, their ticketing system is very opaque, you will get a ticket number in an email after you speak to them, but they will never mention the exact issue that you have faced in that Ticket. When you challenge them for it, they say it is an internal policy that such details are not to be shared with the customers. Now think, what kind of a person will not like to document the details of a customer issue? Let me answer, the kind of person who does not want to leave any proof of the customer's complaint and have deniability in case something goes massively wrong. The product finish is not good at all in addition to the damages. They very smartly use fillers to cover up cracks in the wood. The chair which I received had balancing issues. After many heated calls, they have finally agreed to process refunds. Will uninstall this application from my mobile the day i receive the refunds. Horrible experience.

Do not buy Furniture from Pepperfry
I kindly request customers to not buy furniture from Pepperfry, especially the items that are at a low price point. The quality is absolutely terrible. I had purchased a Queen Size Bed "Royairu Queen Size Bed in Walnut Finish by Mintwud" for our guest bedroom, intended for minimal usage. This bed started breaking down with very very minimal use. Pepperfry would not let me claim warranty on it as PepperFry believe that I did not use the product properly and the damage is under "wear and tear". I'd like to say that the value engineering on this product is done to the extent of having no value at all. It is cheap and it is absolutely useless.
