Purchased OSRS from power-seller with 10K+ postitive reviews
If you don't want to read the whole review just read this paragraph (very important!). If you submit a ticket to player auctions to claim money back for a hijacked account, PlayerAuctions will give you a ridiculously short amount of time to collect evidence from the game publisher before they close your ticket and stop you from appealing any more. In my case they gave me about 48hours to get an email from the game publisher stating that the ownership of the account has been changed, and they told me this on a Friday afternoon (no-ones gonna email me on the weekend!). Some of the player auction reps are very rude.

I spent a total of $110 on the account plus gold only to lose it in 6 months time due to a ban (because osrs figured out the account was traded). I bought my account from 10k+ positive reviews power seller.
My account got hijacked 6 months later (recovery email changed). I had multiple unsuccessful attempts to recover the account using all the recovery information provided by seller plus all information on the transactions I made on the account. The response I kept getting back from osrs was that I was not the account maker, however they acknowledged that I played on the account for a while. After telling osrs to take out my credit card from the account, they came back to me saying that the account is now permanently banned and that they know the account was traded (which is a bannable offence in osrs). The seller advertised that the account is non-traceable on the ad too.

Also the seller didn't provide me with the original display name on the account which I found out from osrs website much later that the original display name of the account was changed prior to selling it to me by the powerseller, if I was able to provide this display name I would have had the account recovered. I did tell playerauctions to provide me with the original display name of the account. This was ignored multiple times! What a waste of time and money.

The dude was a powerseller with 10k+ reviews too, and now its too late to change the positive review I gave him 1 week after purchase haha.

Update: I am ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED, STAY AWAY!
This is an update to the original review which is added below THIS update, which shows you EXACTLY what is wrong WITH PICTURE EVIDENCE.

So, let's get in depth.

I'm a pretty big seller with close to 700 positive feedbacks, as off now, I have over $1.2K in hold because one of my buyers had an issue with his account in NOVEMBER 2016. This problem has been ongoing from 25th April.

This is the initial order which caused the block:

My funds have been frozen since 25th of April:

What exactly is on hold for a seller like me:

Now, as I have explained down here, there are a lot of things wrong with the system.

I have already contacted the customer and SOLVED it with him as you can see here:

https://puu.sh/w73Ne/468e487fe3.png
https://puu.sh/w73Qk/475e858947.png
https://puu.sh/w73TC/fcf530dd5e.png
https://puu.sh/w73XY/fc911f51c1.png

Now, here is where the absolute CLOWN FIESTA starts, I am LITERALLY BEGGING for help in the chatbox:

https://puu.sh/w743i/79fe9499a4.png
https://puu.sh/w744C/c36e19d920.png

https://puu.sh/w749j/a40542c0b9.png
https://puu.sh/w74ae/4610f0c3c8.png

Now this PlayerAuctions worker on ReviewFeeder is an ABSOLUTE joke and proof WHAT is wrong with PlayerAuctions, he's left a reply to my original review saying he would help me out, I have sent two different messages, along with ALL the order Ids. No response after 3 days.

But I can still see him replying to other people with the same automated response?

You can see it here:

https://puu.sh/w735Y/f38f3b1f2b.png
https://puu.sh/w7381/233d5a9635.png

Now this guy is ignoring me, while saying the same stuff to everyone else:

https://puu.sh/w74hX/f993317a64.png

Now please guys, please before you start engaging business with this website, keep in mind, THESE are the people you are paying a 10% fee for, you rack in money while PlayerAuctions treat you like the dirt underneath their feet.

I am just a student trying to make a living and I can't afford just suddenly getting my income stopped because a person had an issue of a $65 order ( WHICH I CAN'T EVEN REFUND?)

So EXTREMELY dissapointed and disgusted.

Scammed, account flagged, playerauctions does nothing.
Gold seller uses stolen World of Warcraft gold to fulfill deliveries. Will cause your account to get flagged as well as not receiving currency that was paid for. Playerauctions support did nothing in over a week with no communication to update on the situation.

Week with no responses from playerauctions, gold seller still going on website.

Avoid at all costs if you're a seller.
Hello guys,

As you can read from my previous reviews I have had some bad experiences, PlayerAuctions have been solved so far, however the current ongoing issue is the worst I have ever seen in two years on this website.

I have never ever been so frustrated and angry towards a company, I had a good run, always fixed issues within an hour. Always processed orders, answered my emails on time. However they decided to suddenly stop my disbursements, freezing all my payments, without notice. This is because of a customer that got banned decided to report the account as stolen, the order was from 2016 October:

https://puu.sh/xaNdk/9c07278b47.png

Meanwhile I'm desperately trying to get in contact with the buyer, trying to give him a refund:

https://puu.sh/xaNql/6d1804edb3.png

The other one has already been fixed for over 10 days:

https://puu.sh/xaNtT/95777be2b0.png

The annoying thing is about this, is that my emails are getting sent into limbo. There's a automated response for every reply I sent, for every email I sent saying that the issues are fixed.

Here you can see what I'm talking about, PlayerAuctions informed me at 31 July while I have already been blocked for over 3 weeks at this moment:

https://puu.sh/xaNCf/0e6247afa9.png

Asking for help, with text at the end of the email begging for them to make me refund him:

Here's the proof, and also a picture of what is comming to you if you start selling here:

http://imgur.com/a/Eauna

They don't care about you and they WILL SCAM YOU
I've had several bad experiences with this website, each and every one of those experiences should have been enough to convince me not to use it again, because I lost money. Each of those experiences should be enough to convince YOU not to use them unless you want to take the risk.

CASE 1 (most recent):
I bought a CSGO account from Player Auctions couple of weeks ago. After my money was sent to the seller, the account was recovered by the original owner. What I did:

Contacted Steam => PlayerAuctions are asking me for credit card information that was used to buy games on that account, which I clearly cannot provide. Only the original owner has it.

Contacted the seller => giving him proof of this problem and sending him my communication with Steam (where they confirm that there's 2 of us who claim ownership of this account). He answered after 3 days saying (and I quote his english): "I will try help u.". I was like... ok, great stuff, let's see. Well guess what? Now he is not answering anymore, after repeated attempts from me.

Contacted Player Auctions by e-mail (their live chat is not available anymore? Why?) =>and they are simply not answering my repeated attempts. There is no phone number to call, so I can't get anyone to tell me anything. As a customer, this is the worst experience ever! You lose the account, you lose the money, and now you lose time, effort and stress to even get an answer from someone. Extremely frustrating!

CASE 2 (roughly 1-2 years ago):
I bought a CSGO account and immediately proceeded to put in my PayPal and buy skins and games. One of the games was GTA5. In short, I'm spending money on the account.
2 weeks later and BOOM - password incorrect. Go to recover, and what do you know? The e-mail is completely different. I guess the guy that sold me the account had actually stolen it from someone else. Surprise surprise!
As you can imagine, I was FURIOUS! I had just spend 100+ dollars on that account, including a game that I was actively playing (and had made progress in).
I quickly contacted Steam support and sent them proof of purchase of all those new games. In my request to them, I made it clear and I'm interested in GTA5 and recovering that game from the account. I never referenced anything else (like CSGO). Therefore, they didn't bother to ask me for the original proof or purchase (I don't even understand why or how come). They were happy with my most recent proof.
And yes, I got it back! After 2 weeks of stress and disappointment, I got it back. I didn't speak to Player Auctions about this - I think the only thing I did was leave a review to the seller's page. I still have that account, thankfully.

CASE 3 (around 2 years ago):
And now for the cherry on the cake => 2 years ago I bought a LoL account from Player Auctions. It got banned shortly after that FOR BOTTING (a common method used to automatically level-up accounts. Riot Games bans for this fiercely).
I contacted the seller and Player Auctions with verifiable proof that this happened and that this is the PRECISE REASON why the account was banned (They send you an e-mail to let you know you were banned This e-mail contains a code - which states the reason for the ban. Botting is a well known code).
They said there's nothing they can do because the seller doesn't want to send me another account - and that they will take actions against the seller.
WELL GUESS WHAT? After 2 years of not even considering this problem anymore, now that I have a problem again, I went back to search for the guy. He's happily selling to this day :) And yes, 10% of that guy's reviews complain that the account was banned due to botting. It's very clear that this is how he gets his many accounts. He bots them. Of course he does. I have to imagine that at least 80% of the rest of the reviews on his page are either fake, or posted too early, before the ban happens - because there's very little escaping the botting ban hammer in League of Legends. Those botted accounts don't last!___________________________

Stories aside, I would very much recommend to stay away from them. You can get lucky (as I was for 1 other LoL account order) and everything works smoothly. But you can also very easily get super frustrated. My track record puts it at around 50/50 (I know, I'm not a big enough sample).

Got scammed, but received help after posting on sitejabber
I've bought League of Legends account for 79,99$ with mandatory Insurance attached to it (in case of theft etc.) overall price was 90$. Seller seemed like a legit user however now I know the trick that he's using which I will explain later on (he only had 3 negative comments of total 284). So I've bought the account, got the acc name and password, I've set up e-mail, changed a password and ingame account name. Of course, I was naive to provide the seller with positive comment after the process, because I didn't know that he will, later on, be able to reclaim the account via Riot Games support (even though account had my e-mail address, he reclaimed the account knowing details about the account that I didn't know, such as registration e-mail address, IP location of first user, his first and last name, country, first RP purchase, name from the RP billing etc. <-- I obviously don't know this information because this scammer didn't bother to provide me with them). I was kind of relaxed about the whole situation because I never had any problems with the website (I've sold account there for 1300$, and a couple of other accounts for 100 and 50$...) so I've written a ticket to Riot in order to reclaim the account, and in parallel raised a dispute, which I have of course lost even though I've provided plenty of evidence such as ingame screenshots, feedback from Riot games etc. You may want to know why I lost the dispute? Because seller wrote: "Unless he can prove that he got email from riot games stating that account is suspended for security reasons this is just one of those scams where PlayerAuctions try to abuse insurance and the money back and keep the account". OFFICAL EMAIL FROM RIOT (Original msg attached as a picture):

Hey there,

Thanks for providing this information and for your cooperation. Sadly, as my colleague previously informed you, we cannot disclose any details regarding this account or any actions performed on it.

"Never underestimate the power of the Scout's code."

Dispute has been closed within 30 minutes in favor of buyer and I didn't have a chance to provide additional comments and information from Riot (after 24h period). So basically you have only 24 hours to provide evidence (ridiculous) and you won't be able to change your comment on Seller's shop site, so that's why scammers like acavnk https://www.playerauctions.com/offer/myfeedbacklist/?username=acavnk have "verified seller" tags and keep scamming other people! He's currently selling 18 League of Legends accounts all with "unverified e-mail address", I am sure that these are all "his" accounts... he's either hacking old accounts or buying them from hacker. BEWARE.

The only positive thing about this site is that people usually deliver items on time (but not always)

Another funny thing is that I've lost 60$ on Diablo II account, which has been banned by Blizzard few weeks after I bought services from this side (probably the level service guy used MH or other cheat...) I won't even dispute this because this website is protecting thieves and scammers, I have lost all my trust to this website.

Best Regards,
Your loyal customer since March 2013. (13 positive feedback, 0 negative feedback, 0 disputes on my sold goods).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------... /> I have been contacted by dedicated customer service specialist from PlayerAuctions, after reviewing my case PA decided to grant me a voucher/code for the full amount that I've spent on the account (including fees and insurance).

I hope that other people will get similar level of customer service and without the necessity to post here.

PA please work on your dispute system, and internal support procedures.

Thanks,
Jakub

Terrible service... yet to receive payment
I posted 2 of my mmo accounts on playerauctions to make a quick buck. One account sold on June 6th and everything seemed to be going smoothly, got the account to the buyer fairly easily and received e-mail confirmation that the buyer had approved that everything on the account was per request. I included 2 weeks "insurance" stating that if the buyer experienced any problems during those 2 weeks, PlayerAuctions could retract the sale and be refunded. After 2 weeks, I hadn't received any notice of any problems so I patiently awaited my paypal disbursement. However, as you've probably guessed, it is now July 10th (a month and 4 days after the original sale) and nothing has been disbursed to my paypal. I've contacted customer service multiple times and received a plethora of different responses (or sometimes no response at all). One customer service rep told me that the buyer has stated that someone was trying to reclaim the account which I never did (and even if I had, I changed all account info to the buyer's request at the time of the original sale as proven by the confirmations I received at the time of the sale so it would be virtually impossible for me to recover the account after giving all security details over to the buyer). On top of that, it took customer service a full month to even alert me there was anything going wrong with the sale and I HAD TO CONTACT THEM TO EVEN GET THIS INFORMATION. At this point, I legitimately don't know if I am getting paid anymore due to what seems to me as incompetency of the staff at playerauctions and their supposed "safe selling" atmosphere that they boast. I am now in the process of sending screen shots for a sale which I thought was already totally completed long ago and went through all of the necessary checks and balances that the site is supposed to provide to avoid annoying situations like this where it's obviously a buyer trying to avoid paying for something that they've clearly already obtained. Speechless. Based on this experience, I'd give playerauctions one star. Don't use this website if you want to sell your accounts and/or coins. That's all.

Edit: Thank you Bernadette. So far this is the most helpful information I've received and I apprecite your responsiveness. I will await the disbursement and upon completion, I will gladly remove or ammend my review when this happens.

They keep pushing cryptocurrency hard and DENY ALL OTHER PAYMENTS
I am a loyal customer of many successful orders in the past since 2017. Things changed in mid 2018 when PlayerAuctions removed Paypal and forced people to use crypto currency for payment instead.

Fast forward to Aug-Sep 2019, I have tried 100+ attempts buying some game currency/items by Credit cards/Neteller/Skrill/Google Pay but none of it got though their Verification system. I also lost money (withdraw fee and exchange rate difference) when I deposited into Skrill/Neteller account and withdraw later due to failed transactions. They kept defending that "your account information and payment information do not match" and "please use crypto currency like GoCoin", but in fact, this company REFUSE all types of payment and FORCE PEOPLE TO USE CRYPTO-CURRENCY for payment. In other words, this company is telling lies to their customers.

Don't bother with Crypto-currency if you are not an investor as you may lose more money if the currency price drops at the end of the day. I feel very frustrated and upset when dealing with PlayerAuctions now. I don't understand the reasons why they keep pushing GoCoin or crypto-currency in the business, but it's not a good moral practices for a company to treat customers that way.

P.s. I always get refund for every failed transactions (eg: some may get 4-5 days), but I want to have successful orders not refunds. If PlayerAuctions keep behaving this way, both sellers/buyers will leave this site and use other game trading websites. We cannot be your customer if you refuse EVERY TYPES OF PAYMENTS that you list on your website such as VISA, Skrill, etc (list for fun?) literally.

Playerauctions Insurance is a scam. DO NOT BUY
Playerauctions is really only good for one thing... Buying gold. IF you're looking to buy an account, please don't do it here unless you're buying from someone with 50,000+ rating.

Bought an account and the insurance with it. Everything was great for a couple months. The account was then recovered by the owner. I took several screenshots of the recovery attempt proving that the recover email was changed and that the account information was changed.

Here's where it gets good... The seller didn't even respond to the dispute. And player auctions decided that his "evidence" was enough to win the case.

It's an absolute sham. If the screenshots I provided were "not enough evidence" then there is literally no possible way to have enough evidence to win a case with this support system.

Also after contacting them about how PlayerAuctions could side with someone who didn't even respond to the case they told me. "Sorry the case has already been closed and we can't reopen it." Which just goes to show the only reason they're not siding with me is that they would actually have to pay out for their own insurance.

Please please please heed my warning. You can buy gold from this site. BUT DO NOT buy their insurance. Because if the seller recovers, your insurance literally doesn't matter.

Also judging by the other reviews... I'm sure they're going to respond saying "I didn't provide compelling evidence"... They will say this no matter what evidence you provide... Because other than finding the scammer in real life, dragging him to their headquarters and having him confessed. I provided all the evidence that someone being scammed can...

The site is really hit or miss
The site is really hit or miss. When everything goes well, it goes wonderfully. Quick transactions, no issue from the seller, quick payment when selling something. Prices are always the cheapest and site always has the widest selection with the most competition. It is what keeps me coming back to the site, even with all the issues I have.

When it is bad, it is really bad. I have paid for account insurance on accounts, and have been asked for information that does not exist for that game. I will be accused of lying by the staff, and be out hundreds of dollars for buying an account for a small game. I have since stopped purchasing accounts through the site, since the customer service cannot be counted on to do their job and take the information I am able to give them in order to file a claim. Web site is very sluggish as of late, taking upwards of 30 minutes to load through and purchase something. I have sold items and not been emailed that it has sold, but then received the email 20 minutes later that my delivery guarantee has expired. I had my own account, and my friend also signed up for an account and would occasionally use it while he was over my house. My account was then banned, even though it was older, and I was told I had to use my friends account. We now share the account, and when the issue of identity verification pops up, their customer service has no idea why two people are using one account and how we can both have different names and addresses.

I would not recommend purchasing accounts through PlayerAuctions, but will not use any other site to purchase currency or power leveling for any game.

Worst customer experience EVER
So basically, the company is with my money, PlayerAuctions have my signed papers authorizing the payment to the seller, they even have my SELFIE with my ID, but even so, I need to "cancel" the order, wait for 3 BUSINESS DAY, and RE-DO IT. If they refund me, because last time they never refunded $5.

Is it a scam? Yes. But a clever one!
Player Auctions advertises itself as The worlds safest player to player trading marketplace. Within 24 hours of purchasing a CoC account in late June this year another player appeared asking who I was and why I had his account. I took screenshots and immediately notified Player Auctions as to what had happened. Even though I had warned them, 36 hours later, PlayerAuctions still proceeded to pay the seller/scammer who had advertised the account. I immediately triggered the insurance product to get my money back. I provided PA with screenshots too and explaining the account is also linked to at least one other player. Another player appeared in the game and claims he owns the account and tells me where he purchased it from too!

After a few weeks PA responded (they are shocking in not responding quickly and use excuses that it is a complex case and their staff are meticulous and their reclamation staff are all out at a company event), that the evidence I had provided did not constitute loss of the account. Moreover, even though I had asked them several times (after they stipulated if the seller didnt respond they would issue me a refund!) whether the seller had responded - they will not tell me!

August arrives so I sent PA even more proof of another player actually admitting he owned the account, and named himself online and which country he is from and where he purchased it! I have not heard back from Player Auctions nor have PA told me whether the original seller had got back to me, even after saying that if the original purchaser didnt get back that they would pay me back via the insurance product. I have had several conversation with their online team promising that they will resolve the matter but during the course of over two months now they have rarely responded.

It is now end of August and I have chased again pointing out I purchased an insurance product but they say they are too busy!

Theres loads more too; but at the end of the day review sites such as this one where gamers/buyers/sellers can review trading sites with a poor reputation are all important in stopping people falling into the trap of utilising this particular website.

It isnt safe, it isnt secure and they WILL NOT give you your money back, insurance or not

No Paypal - Lost 6 Euros from a failed transaction, Poor support.
I lost 6 Euros when getting a refund on my transaction.

Keep in mind 3 things:
1. Transaction reliability is completely up to sellers - the website staff cannot do a thing to enforce delivery of goods. PlayerAuctions can only enforce a refund.
2. PAYPAL IS NOT AN OPTION for most of digital goods. The website claims to have paypal, but it is not available during checkout...
3. If your currency is not USD you WILL lose money when you get a refund.

The longer story:
I bought some digital goods worth 50$ and the seller did not respond. No problem, I can just get a refund, right? Sort of... partially...

There is no convenient way to pay for "free" - thats right, unless you use an e-wallet that you've never heard of, you have to pay for every transaction.

Now this is where absence of paypal comes in.
Paypal offers several handy options that prevent you from paying for nothing if you get a refund - If you get a refund money simply returns to paypal account.

With options Player Auction has, I paid 5% tax (to god knows who) for processing the payment, so 2.5$ just for sending money. Bank exchanged currency on way out so here's another payment and, if you're unlucky enough to need a refund, don't forget the backward currency exchange on refund.

Finally, time for a refund: On the way back of the 50.2 euros (52.5$) i payed I received around 44 euros back.

The website may be a legitimate business, but be ready to lose a % of your payment on refund.

As for their "live" support... I asked "How long does the order cancellation option remain after placing an order?" a fairly simple question if you know anything about this website, i thought. It took me about 5 minutes to get an operator to connect to live chat and another 3 minutes or so to get any kind of reply and about 8-10 more minutes to get an answer. (15-20 minutes in total)

Customer Support Is Absolutely Horrible.
I'll start with the "Live Chat" option which opens a new tab and that's it. No response from customer support what so ever. (Get rid of this option if you are not going to support it!)

While inquiring about reserving a spot on that featured seller list, I was asked to make contact via Skype to discuss pricing. THE PERSON RUNNING THIS SKYPE ACCOUNT IS THE MOST UNPROFFESIONAL AND UNKNOWLEDGEBLE PERSON I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN SUCH INSTANCE.
When asked about site usage and statistics I received this response: "It's our internal info, why do we need share that to you? And it doesn't make sense in my opinion. It has no connection with how many sales you can get"
-So you mean to tell me the amount of traffic to a site has no relation to sells?
After I explained why I would like the information I was responded with: "around 10% tracffic to the banner if that's what you wanted"
Frustrated at this point I requested to talk with a supervisor and was told: "sorry
I am the only one handling ads business"
Note: The spelling and punctuations are exactly as received in Skype.

I am currently on the 4th day regarding a request for help and I still haven't received a resolution, much less a response. This website issue is causing me to lose money and preventing me access to an offer I have in place. After no response, I believe this "issue" was created purposely to fulfil an objective in place by the webmaster, benefiting PA in one way or another.
I am going to give this site a few more days to get back with me and if I receive no response or my issue is fixed, I will be moving on.

This company is a POS
ORDER ID# 1556590

So I bought an account off this site with no insurance. Seller reclaimed after I had left feedback. I wasn't eligible for a refund. Fair enough. I asked PA to let me change my feedback. PlayerAuctions didn't even respond. So I decided to try again with insurance.

I bought the insurance for my next account. Again, after leaving feedback, seller reclaimed. I asked for a refund. I filled all the entire lengthy form that they require you to fill out. I waited days without response. I asked them what was going on. All they would tell me is it's in process. Waited longer. I asked again. No response. I ask again. I wait longer. Weeks later, they send me the same form I had already filled out weeks prior. I told them I had already filled it out. They didn't respond so I told them to go $#*! themselves.

This website is a scam. There is no accountability whatsoever. They take your money then play stupid when you get screwed over. The insurance doesn't do anything and the customer service is nonexistent. When you have a question all they do is give you a standard response like "it's in process." If you email them then they don't even respond at all. I've only had one problem at epicnpc.com, and they banned the scammer. I suggest going there instead. PA never even punished this guy.

If a PA rep responds to this review, I will post screenshots of the entire email log that shows their nonresponse and poor customer service.

As proof that this website is a scam, I'm including the ID number of my order: 1556590. I can guarantee you that their customer service will not respond to this review as he has multiple others, or he will lie and say that I never reported it. Here is proof that I submitted the request and that they simply ignored it: http://imgur.com/SgesrRi

PA Charged me and Suspended My account
Tried to buy 1000 WoW classic gold. Created an account, input my credit info for the purchase, instantly recieved 2 emails... this is what PlayerAuctions said:

"Hello auzee,

We regret to inform you that your payment to PlayerAuctions has been declined.

If you wish to place another order, we advise you to use GoCoin as your payment method. Through GoCoin you will be able to pay with Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dash, or Bitcoin Cash.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hm, that's weird, because my credit card just got charged...

The second email said
"This is an automated system message from PlayerAuctions regarding:

Okay? I click the link and find out I can't see the order update because I'm "suspended"...
They charged me and suspended me!

I write them an appeal:
My Credit Card was Charged, then I got suspended and you said declined in an email... but on my banking website it says my card was charged. No clue why I was suspended. I want my money back and to buy from a different site please.

I get a reply:
Hello Ausiiviiester,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your order.

As per checking, the payment of your order 5589655 has been released or voided at our end when the order was failed. Usually it takes 5 business days to receive funds in your account. In rare cases, if it doesn't still reflect in your account after 7 days especially if the payment was paid via credit card, please contact your bank. Rest assured that your payment has been released and you will be refunded for the transaction.

Should you have any other PlayerAuctions concern, please do not hesitate to reply to this email.

Regards,
Reiner

Instead of suspending me for whatever reason when they decided to void the transaction, they STILL CHARGED ME.
In what business does your automated system charge a customer and then ban them, and the only way to get a refund is to write them back?
Will not use this site again.

A friendly warning about PlayerAuctions
I sold a GW2 account on April 5th, 2015 to a buyer who was fairly friendly requested immediate access to the account. GW2 has a policy where PlayerAuctions don't let you change the email you have on file unless you email support. During this time where my account was under review for the email change, PlayerAuctions logged into the account and also requested that I give the information (even though it was still attached to my email) to the buyer. I did as requested, and both IPs logged onto the account within an hour of each other. Instead of changing my email on file, GW2 took note of the multiple IP logins and banned the account. The buyer agreed that this wasn't fair to me to take all the money when they were partially responsible for the ban (as well as PlayerAuctions for demanding I give out the information during this progress to the buyer.) So instead of either of us holding PlayerAuctions accountable for their part in it, we decided to resolve it ourselves. There were some ups and downs with that process (for various reasons) but ultimately the person was very friendly and said that they thought a 50/50 split would be fairest between us because they were partially responsible but they also were not able to take full ownership of the account. They accidentally escalated the dispute and within moments messaged me that it was a mistake. PlayerAuctions asked for me to send proof of what was occurring so that they could end the dispute. I sent them an imgur link to an album full of images detailing the ban, the support tickets to Arenanet (GW2), and my conversations via the PlayerAuctions emails to the buyer, including them agreeing to the 50/50 split. Now, 19 days later, they still have not ended the dispute. Every time I talk to them (about every 2 to 4 days) they say that they just told their mediation team to work on it or they'll tell them when they get in. Then, next time I message back, same thing. I've been told ~4 times now that I'd have an answer withing 24-48 hours. After 19 days, I've had enough. So finally last night they tell me that I'd know something within the day. I didn't get anything back that day, so I assumed they must've meant 24 hours. 24 hours later, nothing. Finally I get an email stating the following: "Please be informed that we already contacted buyer regarding this order. We will conatct you back as soon as we received any update. We also suggest that you contact him via onsite messaging system and ask if he agreed with your offer." Not only did I provide proof that the buyer insisted on a 50/50 split (even stating that if the accidental dispute were to go in their favor they would wish to refund me half), but I have been told multiple times now that the buyer had "48 hours to respond." The first time 7 days ago. They even told me once that they were "sending one final email" and she'd have "48 hours to respond." That was three days ago. The buyer did agree with my offer, they even insisted on it. Yet even with proof that they wished for this outcome, I can't get PlayerAuctions to make a decision. I've literally begged and pleaded with them. I've been nice, I've lost my cool, I've literally begged them to end this. It's been a miserable experience and this has actually been the single worst customer service experience of my life. This is a nightmare. I'd rather risk being ripped off by a random in an unsecured trade than to get ripped off by a company who fronts themselves as a safe alternative to middleman services. This isn't safe, this is horrid and nothing short of a scam.

My advice? Avoid
I hate writing reviews but felt like i needed to warn people. I paid for a account to find out PlayerAuctions wanted all of my personal information. (this should be a headliner when buying something like "we need this info etc, BEFORE you remove the money.") By personal i mean a pic of your ID, a pic of you in that ID, a pic of your credit card, and last a pic of your bank statement. (I'm not buying a car, but a digital account for a game) this much information can be used to prove they are you... BUT they say to trust them, but in turn wont trust you by answering a simple question. This started throwing red flags when two people was reviewing my account. (how do i know that one person let alone two are gonna handle my information safely, and not for what they want? You provide no info on these people or if they are even vetted properly before they touch my info. For all i know they volunteer to do this. Not saying they all are bad, but it only takes one to ruin your life with that type of info.) i have pics of my account but after i took some pics i deleted my account so who knows if i will ever get a refund(i will if i have to get my bank involved). Just my opinion before you remove the money from an account finish your verification first, or your just doing the one thing you say your trying to avoid (fraud, because your still taking the money before you verify). I had all of the info but decided it was too much of a risk so i refused to send it. Don't just take my word for this i mean read other reviews with the same thing (seems they pop up a lot) Will update after i receive a refund.

Absolute Garbage
I'm outraged, I'm pissed, I want to scream. I am writing this post out of sheer anger with the hopes that people will stay away from this site.

My issue all started last year in September. I live close to a friend and we play a lot of games together. I was waiting to be paid and didn't have the funds to purchase some currency and asked him to pick it up for me until I can get him back. He proceed to place the order providing my character name for delivery. *RED FLAG* this triggers the sites terrible system that flags for duplicate accounts. I was instantly banned and promptly contacted support thinking this was a simple fix considering we have different IP addresses, billing addresses, and payment methods. Wrong, instead I have been battling their support for the past half year providing ridiculous personal information to prove my identity. I've given my drivers license, personal picture with me holding the license and three billing statements.

I have repeatedly tried to use their live chat support which gets me absolutely no where as PlayerAuctions are slave labor that is only allowed to point in another direction and provide empty promises of quick email responses. I have sent a combined total of about 20 emails to the support only recently (last month) getting the bull $#*!e promise that they almost have all the information they need to restore the account.

This is insane. I don't have a lot of time to play games and I take full advantage of occasionally purchasing currency to get my enjoyment. I am disgusted that they are still almost uncontested on price points in the market which keeps fueled to get the account restored. The fact that their automated system would even flag my account in the first place is ridiculous given the varied information between me and my friends accounts. The staff at this site is disgusting and I hope everyone takes this as a PSA and a warning. Don't get banned or have a friend buy currency for you.

Tl; DR player auction support is garbage as hell.

Unprofessional, especially the currency sellers.
If something goes wrong, you might as well stop wasting your time because it isn't lucrative to them. Your complaint is worthless to them and PlayerAuctions only see dollar signs in front of their eyes. Blind for any improvements and care for the customer is as far as it gets there. You're the simple savage and the verified seller is the judge. There is only one truth there. They didn't even bother to respond to my complaint, even though I wasn't even asking for a refund or anything that would cost them money. Now my younger brother is broken because their unprofessional instructions led him to be scammed by a very manipulative method which only exists because of their incompetence. Additionally, I want to add my complaint here to show you what I wrote to them:

-----------------------------------------------------
Hello,

I'm writing this complaint in behalf of you and all the other customers that will come. Recently, my brother has been manipulated by a person and as a result he was unfortunate enough to lose his currency that he bought from you. My gift to him was lost because he failed to act competently to his manipulator. Huge excitement and lack of experience in life led to this. However after reading the emails thoroughly I saw that there was not a single warning given. Additionally proper instructions were lacking. And the ''place'' of deliverance in game was kept open for any visitors of this site. I believe that you as a successful seller should do a lot more to prevent situations like these and instruct your buyers more properly. In my opinion there are still many loopholes left and there is a danger that the manipulator's method could grow even more intelligently and potentially harming your business. Therefore, I hold you partly responsible for this loss.

Yours faithfully,

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
