Michelle should not be allowed near normal people let alone work in customer service
This a zero star review! I was told someone would be with me between the hours of 11 and 3, I then get a call around 2pm stating the engineer running behind and Plumbingforce need to push it back to 2 to 6 pm. I asked if this was a definite or I would call out someone else as I've been without running water for 2 days. I was promised that it was. I then continue to wait in until 5 when I get a text message saying my appointment has been cancelled all together and to ring to re book. Why would anyone want to rebook with someone as incompetent as these clowns!?! I rang up to complain about the fact I've been lied to only to be call a liar by the most unprofessional woman I've ever had the misfortune of speaking to. After hanging up she then rang my ex boyfriend who made the booking ( she thought he was my landlord haha) to try and Cause trouble for me and she sent me a text telling me. What a clown she is. After looking at the google reviews it's apparent that the positive ones are all fake (look at peoples other reviews and you will clearly see) I just rang a local plumber who charged no call out fee and was here within 20 mins. Avoid like the plague.

Slow service. Almost couldn't be bothered!
Contacted PF to have glass replaced on gas fire. Can you refit new glass? Yes we can. NO YOU CAN'T!
Engineer was fine (no complaints) - customer service though is atrocious. Despite the job not being overly urgent due to the summer - having to chase, not kept informed, no returned calls - took forever for any effort to acquire the piece of glass so gave up in the end. Managed to acquire glass myself at half the cost and with a bit a 'digging' managed to find a gas fire engineer to fit it. Take a tip from me and source your gas fitter/plumber locally for a much more better service.

Do not use this company!
I booked a 10am-2pm slot early in the morning to fix my boiler. When 2pm arrived and Plumbingforce hadn't turned up I called them and they said they had tried to call me several times for a payment before they arrived, this was a lie as I didn't have any missed calls on my mobile and I question why if they required a 'pending payment' why they didn't ask for that on my initial call. They then took my bank details and said they would be with me by 6pm. At 5pm they called and said they couldn't get to me after all but said they would try again the following day between 9am and 1pm. They didn't care that I had already taken a whole day off work, had no hot water or heating and also that they had taken a 'pending payment' for work not started - If the money gets taken out of my account I now have to file for a dispute to get it back. An absolutely disgraceful way of doing business... you have been warned!

Rescued from the cold spell
Simon H was tremendous in a short period of time this courteous and well presented skilled plumber truly rescued us. Having been let down by a company which has enjoyed many years of contributions from us on a monthly basis, I searched the net for someone to help us. My husband cannot be cold because of a heart condition was not comfortable after a few days of no heating or hot water. As this is a 3 day weekend I felt I had no option but to take the situation in hand. Arriving before 10am Simon quickly grasped the position we were in, within a short period of time he had discussed ordered the new boiler settled a fair price and started work. Wow before we could drink a cup of coffee the do not use labelled boiler was out and the new boiler in, all completed by5-30pm.

We are warm again thanks so much, faith in human nature restored. In case you wondered still haven't had the promised call three days on from the company which has had so much money from us.

No Mains water due to Copper pipe damage
Due to current lockdown and Covid-19 restrictions initial engagement was delayed, however the support / despatch team are available via web chat or phone to provide updates as required, once this period was passed the engagement was extremely good.
The engineering attendance provided a very efficient investigation to establish the root cause of the problem, once established the fault was repaired.
Following this all affected appliances were then tested to ensure full service was restored.
The engineer worked in a clean and tidy manor at all times, and the work was completed within the initial quoted price.

Quick service
I had not used your company before and after finding your advert online I was a bit unsure of the service I might receive. As it was I needing have worried.
Arranging the visit over the phone was straightforward and the call handler was clear and helpful.
The engineer called ahead to advise of arrival time. He carried out the job quickly and efficiently and explained my options as to how to resolve the issue. His advice helped me to get the gas meter changed quickly to get the heating on within the next 2 hours. I am very grateful for your service and will recommend your company and would happily use you again.

Absolutely shocking, late, unsafe, opportunistic, appalling customer service, liars
Absolutely shocking! We have dealt with over 30 gas engineering companies and have never experienced service, customer service, lies, delays, lack of communication, excessive billing and an appliance left in an unsafe state! Having then spoken to Michelle, the 'Resolutions manager' her attitude was appalling. 1 job Plumbingforce attended 5 hours late, and told the tenant they needed to go out for a part, then never returned. When we arrived the tenant was still sat waiting. The 'Resolutions Manager' then spoke to the engineer and advised us 'the tenant had to go out' - he was still waiting when we arrived the same day. The 2nd job they attended 24 HOURS LATE!, capped off the heater but also removed it (containing asbestos) which we never asked them to do and left it propped against a wall with asbestos rope sat on top. They have attempted to charge us an extra £100 for this 'service'! Having spoken to Michelle, clearly very unhappy with the service but polite all the same, she advised me she was going to 'terminate the call'. Wow - steer clear.

Claims to be an emergency service but isn't. Isn't that fraud?
Wish I'd found these reviews earlier. Found website for Plumbingforce online Wednesday afternoon. Used live chat. Explained I needed plumber to replace kitchen mixer tap constantly leaking from stem, feared the problem might escalate so shut off water to kitchen. Told to call the helpline number. Did so. Plumbingforce asked for credit card details in advance for £79+ VAT call out fee. Then told there were no longer any engineers available that afternoon. Booked for 8-11am Thurs. At 10:15am I called to check on progress. Told there were no engineers available. Booked again for Sat morning 8-11am. Company didn't call to say no-one coming though engineer did not appear. I phoned at 11am to cancel the request and asked for them to ensure no monies had been debited and that my card details be destroyed. An appalling, misleading service that could lead to customers property being damaged/flooded while waiting for an emergency service that is no such thing. Will report to Trading Standards.

Stay away from this company.
Plumbingforce only seem like they give a darn about their customers. They came around on Saturday, "fixed and FULLY tested" a boiler. On the next day we find out the heating on said fully tested boiler doesn't work and when we called them again a chap picked up and said their office doesn't work on Sundays. So not only we had to wait until Monday, but when they came today, they wanted to charge us a second time over claiming this was a new issue even though we know very well that the issue was pre-existent. Also, the chap from their call centre Harry(wouldn't share his surname) admitted he doesn't know what he is talking about as "he is not an engineer", just kept repeating back what I had just told him and failed to assist me on any level. He just kept saying, "Pay us up front or we will ask the engineer to leave" and "What I can do is ask the engineer to leave and you can write an email to *******@plumbingforce.co.uk" No, thank you, I will not. I never intend to use you again and therefore see no reason for an attempt at constructive criticism. I think you just don't care for your customers and see them as walking cash machines.

Stay away from this company
Definitely avoid this company. Plumbingforce will try to rip you off.

I asked them to fix my dripping tap. The engineer came, did not even bother to look into the tap and suggested the entire tap needs to be replaced: gave me a quote for £340 + Labour! The whole visit was over in 5 minutes - for this "service" they charged me £94.80 (including VAT)!. I had given them my card details, just for completing the booking (this was what they told me). However they simply took this money from my card following the visit.

I replaced the ceramic cartridge myself after this. A cartridge costs just £4 from e-bay! The tap works perfectly fine with no dropping now. I am disputing the charge through my bank now and will follow legal suit if this does not work.

Stay away from this company!

Charged in excess of £500 and didn't fix the fault
Had a problem with the 3A fuse supply to my Worcester Bosch boiler blowing. An engineer arrived and proceeded to disconnect the main water pump, 3-port valve and other electrical connections to try and isolate the problem. The engineer was unable to find the problem but I was still charged in excess of £500. To make matters worse I believe the engineer also accidently disturbed the rear cold water pipe of the shower pump in the same cupboard as the main water pump etc. causing it to leak, so a couple of days later I notice the living room ceiling has sagged and the fire place wall is also wet. The company claimed Plumbingforce had no liability. Avoid them.

They won't turn up but they'll take your money... more than once!
Where do I begin!?

Fraudulently taking money from my account after closed case!?
Swearing down the phone?
Failing to turn up on an emergency call despite promise after promise of turning up?!

I don't know what I can say to discourage any further customers from using this unprofessional cowboy company? Plumbingforce will promise you someone will turn up, then cancel on you while it is too late and tell you you'll have to pay an emergency call out fee. When you tell them you'll use a different firm they will just casually swear down the phone then 4 days later take additional unauthorised money from your account! Lets hope they read my letter (because complaints and refunds can't be taken over the phone) and actually get my £357 back to me before Christmas... oh and someone else had to fix our leak.

Gas Boiler repair
Due to an emergency we required urgent boiler repairs and contacted this Company after British Gas (who we have a boiler policy with) were unable to attend until 5 May. The Company answered the phone immediately and gave me a job time with the instruction to call me when the engineer was on the way. This did happen and the engineer, Matthew Edwards, identified the problem, sourced the part and came back the following morning to fit the part and ensure the heating and hot water were working. I was extremely impressed with Matthew Edwards and on this basis would recommend this Company

Dont bother, won't turn up!
Dont bother, Plumbingforce won't turn up! Immersion water heater had failed leaving us with no hot water on Thursday with guests due for the weekend on Friday. A 4hr slot was booked for Thursday afternoon (stayed in and waited). 30 mins before the end of the slot the appointment was cancelled due to the engineer being 'too busy', a 4hr slot was duly booked for the Friday morning (stayed in and waited). At 1230, as my guests arrived, the appointment was cancelled again, the engineer 'has had a family emergency'. I was offered a Monday slot which I declined. Shocking service, two half days wasted and I could have had this repaired by another company within the hour if Plumbingforce had been honest enough to decline the job in the first place!

A rip-off company to avoid
Avoid this rip-off company. I have been charged £94.80 by Plumbingforce for an emergency boiler repair which has not been repaired nor attempted to be repaired on 25 June 2018. The heavily tattooed 'plumber' simply walked in and out of the house and said that the boiler was not accessible due to a cupboard. By the way, the boiler was accessible although the access was restricted (lower boiler panel did not drop all the way down). Most annoying is that he did not even attempt the job and even tried to put me off removing the cupboard and said that I need a kitchen fitter (really?), though he was very swift in presenting me with a bill of £94.80. I don't think he was in a mood to work that day. When I contacted customer service and asked for a full refund since no job was attempted I was told 'no' but Plumbingforce can offer half-price discount for the first hour next time round. Thank you, rip-offs, no. When I asked for a half a bill refund since this person made an effort to arrive, I never received a response. Also, when I hired an actual plumber (different firm) the whole job took 20 minutes. Avoid Plumbingforce, they are there to take your money, not to fix boilers.

Do not ever use
Do not ever use, absolute daylight robbers. Came to fix a problem, had to come back again for a related problem and charged me again even though I said I didn't want the work done as it probably was a result of the first visit. So basically paid £102 for a plumber to stand in my bathroom for 15 minutes and do no work.

The plumber himself was pleasant enough but the man at the office was not willing to listen, and even though being told by another person at the office I wouldn't be charged he then stated I was and would not go back on their word.

Better companies out there, please do not use.

Avoid at all costs!
Absolutely avoid at every cost. Not living in London full time I arranged a boiler service at my flat on December 13th between 8 and 12 when I was next in town. Plumbingforce failed to show up and asked if it would be ok if they came later between 12 and 6. I said it wasn't as i had afternoon meetings. We then arranged another appointment between 8 and 12 today (17th December). Despite me chasing to get an idea of time and asking for a priority call due to their failure on the first appointment they have just called to say their plumber has gone home, can somebody come later, up to 6 again. I said it wasn't. This is the second time they have failed to show up. I went with them against my better judgement and should have used Pimlico Plumbers as before. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time with plumbing force. They offered no apology and complete disregards for customer service.

OUTRAGEOUS
- BOOKED THE JOB, PAID £154.80 AS A DEPOSIT AND FOR THE ENGINEER TO ORDER SOME PARTS THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED
- ONE MONTH LATER THE ENGINEER SHOWS UP AT THE FLAT WITHOUT A PRIOR APPOINTMENT AND IT'S THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK SO NO ONE IS HOME AND OBVIOUSLY HE CAN'T GET IN
- CALLED THE COMPANY, Plumbingforce TOLD ME I HAD AN APPOINTMENT BUT NO ONE WAS ABLE TO PROVE I WAS INFORMED ABOUT IT, NO EMAIL, NO PHONE CALL, NO TEXT
- THE LADY THAT I WAS DEALING WITH INITIALLY NO LONGER WORKS THERE SO NOBODY CAN TELL ME EXACTLY WHAT'S GOING ON
- MY ACCOUNT WAS CHARGED £309.60 FOR A JOB THAT HASN'T BEEN DONE, HALF OF IT WITHOUT MY CONSENT
- WHEN I CALLED AND ASKED WHY THE MONEY WERE TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, THEY WEREN'T ABLE TO EXPLAIN
- WAS PASSED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE TO MAKE A COMPLAINT AND MY EMAILS ARE NOT EVEN BEING ACKNOWLEDGED, NEVER MIND RESOLVING THE ISSUE
- OUTRAGEOUS AND UNACCEPTABLE

Daylight robbery
Hi can you please look in to my complaint regarding this job number: 141082 as a matter of urgency please.

I would like my £180 that I paid yesterday to be refund back to me please. As you can see from the evidence I have attached on the email

I paid £180 for a plumber from plumbing force to come to my house to unblock a saniflo system, as your website states you specialise in unblocking saniflo systems, which was the main reason I contact and booked a plumber from your company, when he arrived (Oli) he only spent in the house 8mins max! Only looked at the toilet and then to came to conclusion that the blade is dislodged, I cant repair it, it needs a part ordering and I cant get that till next week nothing is open today.

1: my first issue was how did he come to the conclusion that the blade was dislodged without opening the lid or even moving the pan out of the way to look inside. It was clearly blocked he didn't even investigate the blockage, on your site it states you specialise in unblocking saniflo systems. He did not even attempt to even investigate what the issue was.

2: he left me with no options on the next steps and what to do next, I went to speak to my mum to update her and discuss what to do next, it was less than a min, by the time I had come back to the room he had already gone and was already driving off, I went outside to find out what was going on, he had already driven off!. That was disgraceful service, I was soooo upset, I was in tears, he literally stole my money, my father is 86 years old vulnerable, and with disabilities and limited movement in his legs, this toilet was essential to him, at the time of booking I mentioned it was an emergency (Plumbingforce charged me extra for this I was happy to pay this) and that was the only access to the toilet for him to use. I was left in complete limbo, lost for words on what to do next. My dad has had to use a bucket to use the toilet since last night, which was not convenient or dignified at all.

3: I managed to get hold of another plumber who was local and came round this after noon at 13.30 on the 28.03.2020, he pulled the toilet forward, took the pan front off and the blockage was clear, it was just some wipes that had got stuck on the blade, he cleared this, as you can see from the image I have attached (on the email). The blade was absolutely fine, nothing wrong with it what so ever, this plumber also confirmed there was no way the plumber from the plumbing force (Oli) could have come up with the conclusion that the blade was dislodged without having a look inside which was so easy to do by pulling the pan forward. There was nothing wrong with the saniflo system because it is brand new, and I only had this installed less than 4 months ago. This plumber I found locally managed to unblock my toilet in 45 mins and all reconnected up, fully working

I have also attached a video clearly demonstrating my toilet is working fine and no parts was required and no blade was dislodged like your plumber stated and lied about.

Can you please look in to this for me please as a matter of urgency, I would like my money refunded back to me, and an apology from the company.

I will be taking this matter forward to trading standards if this is not brought to a satisfactory conclusion.

I have spoke to someone called Jordon, who said she waould pass this on to customer services, and said she will look into this and get back to me yesterday - i am still waiting for that call

You have my contact number on file

I look forward to your prompt reply

Thank you

Waheed Miah

Made to wait 4 hours only to let me down
Called Plumbingforce at noon on a Saturday for an emergency call out, was told they'd have someone with me by 5pm. Got a call at 3:10pm saying the plumber is on his way, be there in an hour. Another call at 4pm told me he had to go elsewhere and we wouldn't be seen until Monday 10-12. To wait 4 hours for them not to get a plumber to me and to have to start the whole cycle again was extremely inconvenient and has resulted in extra water damage to my home. For anyone reading this in/around BEDFORDSHIRE, EPHG were able to get someone to me within 30 minutes helping me to sort this whole mess out.
